It was a pleasure speaking with Anabelle the assistant manager. She was polite, considerate and very professional. She was patient answering any questions we had and very knowledgeable.The property is located in Klein District and is very beautiful and well maintained. It is conveniently located off of Cypress Creek Pkwy which allows access to everything, stores shopping, gyms and more.The pricing for the unit was well within rates of the area, if not slightly lower. And offered many amenities.I would definitely recommend this place for anyone looking for a home.

The leasing office management and staff are very supportive and professional. Ms. Merramonie Bodwin is one of the best leasing agents, she helped me find my current home fairly quickly, she is very knowledgeable and vivid. I am a teacher and I was able to have a smooth transition thanks to her. It did take a few weeks to settle in and take care of the necessary maintenance but that’s in spite of them being short staffed. Maintenance staff are knowledgeable, quick, and supportive. Ms. Elisa Medina the property manager is very supportive and quick on action. She made me feel heard and at home. Like any other property, it has its pros and cons, but the value is higher than the price you’re paying. I recommend moving here. It’s secure, modern, organized, has the necessary amenities and is close to many shopping centers and stores. Thank you to all the staff at MAA Greenwood Forest.

I want to give a special shoutout to Merramonie B., the property manager, who truly goes above and beyond to ensure residents are happy. Her professionalism, responsiveness, and genuine care for the community make such a difference.The apartments are spacious, modern, and well-maintained, with all the amenities you could ask for, including a 24-hour fitness center, two beautiful pools, and a pet-friendly atmosphere complete with a dog park. The location is ideal, with easy access to major highways and plenty of nearby shopping and dining options.Maintenance is also top-notch — any issues I’ve had were resolved quickly and efficiently. Knowing that Merramonie and her team are so attentive gives me peace of mind and makes living here even more enjoyable.If you’re looking for a community that feels like home, with a management team that genuinely cares, I highly recommend MAA Greenwood Forest. Nice apartments. Nice community. They do have water bugs / rolly pollies and roaches. Is it infested? 9 times out of 9 your fridge and stove have a few bugs living out of there. Infestation is when u can’t look around without seeing a bug. Scale of 1-10 I’d say it’s at 6.5 but it can get real bad if they’re not on top of it. Ferrel cats doing the do all over the complex. A bat crawled from under the door out of the utility closet. Called maintenance they said I had to get it out the room myself. Water does get turned off at least once every couple months from like 9-5. Valet trash is a joke. They pick it up but it honestly looks worse in the hallways with trash just sitting. I take my trash to the dumpster and every time it’s run over. Overall I’ve been in much worse so I’m greatful. Just a heads up from a true and honest review

Of all the apartments I called they were the only one to actually answer the phone and they were super polite when they did. It’s hard apt hunting from another state. I have been here for 2 years now. I love the location and the office staff. Whenever I have an issue it is resolved either the same day or the following day. The amenities are great. I would recommend getting updated gym equipment. I go to the gym pretty often & some of the equipment are not functional. Overall, a great community in my opinion. Staff is great & maintenance is efficient.

This is one of the nicest apartments that I’ve been to and I’ve been to 8 other apartment complexes in the Houston area. It’s very clean, the maintenance people truly stay up on their tasks and finish work orders in a timely manner. The staff is kind, knowledgeable, and courteous even to tenants that are rude and disrespectful. I’ve personally seen them maintain professionalism even when someone is borderline confrontational with them. The complex is very quiet, the Qualifications to get an apartment there are very relaxed compared to many of the other apartments I’ve been to. If you get rejected from here, you’re going to struggle to find an apartment because you only need to meet the most basic of requirements. They have no breed restrictions and don’t ask much of you except that you maintain cleanliness, be respectful to your neighbors, don’t have altercations with other residents, and that you don’t park where you’re not supposed to park. The apartments are very top notch quality and very affordable. For the quality you get here, you’d probably have to pay an extra $100-$200 elsewhere at a different property. If you’re thinking about coming to Greenwood, you should definitely jump on it because you won’t regret that decision.

I have lived here for a very long time and when I moved in it was pristine and beautiful, a great location. It could still be tops if some changes were made. It has improved in some areas, not all. But, its coming, I was told. I would give it a 4.5 stars.I have had some great managers especially one, Stacy (hands on mgr, would stop a rules violation on its track, no bias) and Andrew the head maintenance person were great as well as Pedro and now Hector and at times some office staff members but others, not so much.The two bdrm/two bath apartment is roomy, very nice but it needs some updating now, had none since I moved in but, still looks fine. I have had a couple of unnecessary misunderstandings along the way with a couple of staff members but, there is great upper management that does care what happens to their tenants and help you if you reach out to them. I do have a specific person in mind in a high position at MAAC. Mr. C. K. to thank for his kindness and help when called upon. Through the years, he has always been there and I wish him nothing but the very best, always!Overall, I do like living here, maybe it is because of where my place is located within the complex, good neighbors and quiet surroundings with some occasional extremely loud boom boxes lately of people driving through the main parking lot or while parking in their assigned area and some loudly screaming kids playing yet again, in the main parking lot. I guess, their parents dont mind them but, Im sure the office will take note of it and take care of it.Never had a problem with roaches just the occasional big one that came in escaping from the heat or cold but, not for long! Visit was cut short but, I do keep a very clean place. Its not just an apartment, its my home for as long as I live here.Thank you.

I love that the place have garages, 2 pools and a gym. Staff so friendly.Love Darlinda, very explanatory and Omar best manager! He is willing to help you with all your needs. Not planning to move from this place soon. Affordable price and nice environment.

Terrible communication skills with the leasing office. You can call, call & call but they will only say ok we will call you back & of course never call back. Ever since I moved in my apartment reeks of dogs & dog urine. Its disgusting and unacceptable. When we first asked if there was anything the office is able to do they said no they bombed the place before we moved in. 3 months later the smell is still here, its in all my clothes, bed sheets, when I leave the apartment I can smell it in my hair. Its just absolutely horrific and disgusting. Im really disappointed because its a beautiful apartment, a great location with amenities but management just doesnt care to work with you like they are being paid to do. I’mEdit: Omar is amazing and you should definitely move here. He will address all your concerns and he tries his best to keep up with maintenance for your apartment. I’m really glad they got a new manager cause they desperately needed it. Omar is amazing!

I am amazed by the bad reviews about this complex. I lived here from 2013-2014 and had no issues. The office workers always had great attitudes (especially Chris). My apartment was large and whenever I had a maintenance issue it was fixed promptly. The maintenance guys were awesome! The pool was clean, the workout facility was clean, and they always had cookies and coffee for the Keurig in the club house. The only problem I had was that parking was terrible. BUT I always had the option of purchasing a spot - just didnt do it. I did get charged for things when I moved out.. but that was only because I left my apartment a mess so I already knew charges would occur. Definitely my own fault.

Theyre very nice and cozy, w/d, excellent upkeep, valet trash, beautiful pool....Brooklyn (leasing agent) is excellent. Parking is limited. If youre mad about that, buy a spot which somewhat sucks...but I work from home so I steal a good parking spot a day! :) Lots of dogs. I do wish they would do something about the fleas with the number of dogs. I pay pet rent... Love dogs....but its a problem.

I have been a happy and satisfied resident at Greenwood Forest in Houston, Texas for over 3 years. My neighbor has been here about 20 years. This is a quiet, beautiful place to live. It has its moments with kids at the pools or an occasional loud balcony party, but you have that with a house and neighbors too. The staff is great, the maintenance is fast and efficient, the grounds are kept very nicely, and the complex is a low-key environment. I would recommend Greenwood Forest to my family, so it would certainly be a nice place for anyone looking in the 1960-Champions Woods area in Houston

Lived there from 2009-2010. Im surprised at the bad reviews. My Willow apartment was like new and not falling apart. I loved the carpet, wood flooring, appliances, countertops, baseboards, crown molding, the his and her vanity sink in the bathroom, the wide tub, and the balcony. Lots of lighting, as well. I dont know how I went from occupant to being on the lease, though, but thats neither here nor there. We had a garage, which I thought was expensive, but theyre pretty legit quality nonetheless. This isnt the ghetto; people are ungrateful whiny b******. There werent even any infestations so I dont know why people are crying about things they cant control; like parking. I dislike the distance from central Houston, but having a daughter in a city of 6 million people, you want to be away from the city.
