I had an issue with my apartment door at Maa Afton Oaks—it locked me out at 8 PM! Rogelio came out that very night and quickly got it fixed. His professionalism and dedication were truly impressive. The next day, both Rogelio and Juan followed up promptly to replace the broken handle, ensuring everything was functioning perfectly. I deeply appreciate their quick response, attention to detail, and friendly service. It’s clear they truly care about the residents here. After several apartment tours and a previous negative moving experience, I’m beyond impressed with my experience at MAA Afton Oaks. Each staff member I encountered was exceptional, especially Jolante. She was professional, personable, and accommodating throughout the process. MAA Afton Oaks apartments are beautiful, elegant, comfortable and extremely clean, they are very safe to live in. The office staff is professional and friendly, the service is good and personalized. I was assisted by Yaneth, she was professional, kind and patient with me, she dedicated all the time I needed to be well informed, I was really satisfied with these apartments, the pool is a paradise, it is well equipped. I love living here.

I can’t say enough good things about my experience moving into this apartment complex, especially the incredible help I received from Ms. Jalonte. From day one, she was not only welcoming but also exceptionally supportive in every way. She coordinated the move-in process seamlessly, answered all my questions, and even personally followed up to ensure I was settling in well. It’s rare to find someone so dedicated to their job, and her level of care made my transition into this community feel effortless. The apartment complex is fantastic, but Ms. Jalonte truly made it feel like home!

I really enjoy the experience of leaving’s here, specially because of the promptly response from the office staff, Mrs Jolenta Robert’s, I got give it to her, don’t know how she does it, but she does, it’s very attentive to the needs of every person in the condo, and you can see when someone is forcing and just comes natural to them to be helpful and kind, that’s very important when leaving on a space.

Danielle was very helpful too! Property is great if the location works out for you, definitely an upgrade from most other MAA properties.

I moved from Miami to springs tx then to Houston tx 2 years ago. I was looking for apartments that were luxury but still affordable and that’s what these apartments gave! The staff changed when I moved in two years ago and the new staff are amazing! Victor is the leasing office manager and he is BOMB! Like he has an open office Policy and you can really talk to him about anything! I loved my apartments while I was there! I recently brought a home after renting for 3 years in Tx! The only down side to living here is the traffic sorry to say. But as for the apartments, the amenities the apartment itself, and the staff A1! Highly recommend.

I lived in this complex for a year! Very pretty and renovated finishes and the floor plans are big and very comfortable! Now where they excel is in management specially Miss Jolante! If we have any issues in our unit, we create a request with the front office, and the maintenance personnel takes care of it right away. The location is perfect and the new manager, Victor Rodriguez is so kind and professional. We recently purchased a home, and moved-out but we are truly going to miss this community. We are grateful for our time here.

I lived here for just about a year and it was an overall good experience. Property is beautiful and pretty modern! Only thing was the gate was broken too often but I recently saw this was getting replaced so that may eliminate that. Also had a few AC problems but they were always addressed. Location was cool minus the highway being too loud at times.

The Post Afton Oaks has been my home for over 2 years and I loved my time here. The location is convenient to all major highways, the amenities are really nice, and my apartment, itself, is homey yet modern. The maintenance staff has always serviced my apartment extremely timely and Alex with the Management staff has always been willing to help with my questions over the years. The apartment complex is also always making upgrades and improvements to the apartment as well as community. I am moving out due to a marital status change but otherwise wouldve stayed living here. I recommend this apartment to anyone looking for a beautiful apartment with a fantastic location, in the middle of the city.

Ali is AWESOME!!! I called to set up an appointment, and he answered immediately. Right when I walked in, he greeted me by name, was wearing a mask and made me feel very welcome. He also got me really excited about the floor plan he recommended for me, and literally answered every question I had! I’ve never lived in an apartment before and was very hesitant to make the move. However, by the end of the tour, I felt completely at ease.The amenities are also so beautiful and the location is perfect! They have delicious food trucks that come to the property (ie, The Doughcone!) and you can tell they really care about their residents. Five stars for the customer service, amenities and super-fabulous luxury pool! Highly recommend.

Live here for almost 2 years and simply had to move out to a home for more space. Location is great being near the Galleria area and rear of the apartment backing up to the Post Oak community, which is quiet and gives you another way to drive to the River Oaks District shopping complex. The price is a lot cheaper compared to the other apartments just across 610, although probably due to the distance to the highway (our apartment though was facing the highway and noise was never an issue for us even with a newborn).The people at the office, Alex, Taylor and Oscar, were always great and helpful with everything. If you treat people right theyll do the same to you and so I dont know about those reviews saying the office management isnt great cause those guys very kind.Property is well managed, requests attended to in a timely manner, and despite peoples pets peeing everywhere (more an issue with owners not taking care of their pets and not the fault of the apartment. theres a dog part for crying out loud), carpet in the halls were washed at least once a month or two months throughout my whole stay there.Issues with parking is always there, with people tailgating and parking in the gated sections when theyre not supposed to, but thats an issue with all apartments. Fire alarms blaring early in the morning again is an issue with people tripping them and not the apartments fault. Only real issue I saw was the walkway leading up to the mailboxes is always wet and slippery when it rains, so doing something to close up that area would have been great.Overall though, definitely would recommend this place to anyone who needs an apartment in the Galleria area. Interior of apartments are nice, appliances are great, and the facilities are well kept. No pests issues to speak of too. Five stars despite some minor problems jus because those guys at the office are awesome!

We lived here for 14 Month and loved everything about it .We recommend it! By far best place we lived in Houston. The property manager is amazing, she is so nice and the door is always open to hear you. For us it was very important ! The staff is so kind and all of them are just truly there for you! Alex is the best we have come across with ever! words cant express how much we love this perfect human! He solved every problem with seconds. We barely had any maintenance issues and when we did problem was fixed same day. If you are looking for a good location, super gym , great office staff and an awesome apt. thats your place.

I have lived at this complex for about 2 years now, and I will unfortunately be moving out in October for no other reason than to find something a bit cheaper. I have absolutely loved living here, and the people in the leasing office have always been so kind and courteous, and have made a really good impression. The Maintenance team is impressive, and would fulfill most of my requests within that same day, no matter how small. I think the only downside I can think of was only having one visitor pass, but I had made it work! This has definitely been my favorite apartment complex that I have ever lived in (I have had my share of horror stories with apartments back in college), so I would highly recommend!

They made me fall in love with the property. Yes, the apartments are amazing, but it is the people that surround us that make the difference. We would like to give credit to those who deserve it. Oscar (Leasing Agent) has been the kindest and always makes you feel welcomed every time you walk in the office. He goes out of the way to help you whenever you need something. Alex (Assistant Manager) has been a delight and eager to help you out. Lastly, I would like to thank Valerie (Security). She is an amazing woman who is always looking out for you and those around. Love this place. From the manager who is the best I must say Sharee. She makes sure she get anything you need done! So sweet and helpful treats me like family! Taylor and Alex plus Maintence staff is great as well. Answer all your questions and concerns. They have wonderful events each month and really care about their tenants. Anytime I had an issue they responded quickly and always took great care of me!! Very safe place to live and beautiful view from the 6 floor garage. Ive been here a little over a month.Being my first apartment ever I was super diligent about details and I can honestly say I made the best choice by picking Post afton oaks. Everything is great, the gym has been complimented by my personal trainer. The staff is super helpful and personable, Caila helped me a lot, she answered all of my questions and made me feel really comfortable leasing an apartment from out of state. Everyone in the leasing office is genuinely welcoming.The grounds are kept clean 98% of the time. The trash shoots are easy to get to on each floor and are kept clean, Hallways are usually super quiet. Ive never had an issue getting a parking space on my floor. I feel super safe. The location is pretty much on the 610 loop so super convienient and the neighborhood in the back is really nice which helps me feel safer. I love dogs even though I dont have one, but living here i still get to pet dogs all the time which is great for me.I love the package concierge, i get notifications, super convienient. The maintenance resolved one minor issue very quickly, ended up not even being an issue tbh. Also, of the maintainence guys Nick Jhons went above and beyond to help me when my car needed a jump!the only con, and this is if i really want to be picky, the hallway rugs could use a deep clean, but there not dirty by any means. again thats me being super picky. everything else is damn near perfect.Oh and my actual apartment is BEAUTIFUL, super spacious, big bathroom, huge walk in closet, updated kitchen. so worth it. I couldnt have picked a better apartment. Im glad Caila did not let me pass this place up.

Live here, you wont regret it. I absolutely have loved living here! The managment and entire staff is amazing, even the maintenance crew. Everyone is friendly, helpful and professional. I am deeply sad to be leaving. Zero complaints! Taylor is my girl and Alex is so passionate, so thankful for all his help. I have always felt safe, the security lady is always on top of things, if something needs to be fix they handle it ASAP and in general this place is by far the BEST place Ive lived. Now if people would stop burning food and setting off the entire apartment alarm system that would be great lol.

Overall the experience was decent. The day of move in I alerted the leasing office of the bedroom window. It doesnt close all the way.The sound of the wind can get irritating. I can hear everything that goes on on the outside, especially traffic. Also, the yellow stained tub was never replace, it was only cleaned to the best of the cleaners ability, Im assuming. If i do renew my lease, i would move in a unit closer to the garage. The walk was way too far.

From the location, the quiet atmosphere and the cleanliness and upkeep of the building, these factors have made me hate to leave when my lease ends in June. I’ve had several things occur over my stay here but Alex has always been extremely sweet and patient doing whatever he could to make sure I was taken care of and I must say he takes his job very seriously and is always very friendly and fun-loving. Nick, one of the maintenance guys, always has a Smile and is always working extremely hard and he is always extremely friendly and helpful. I made a mistake and threw a very important package away and when I mentioned it to Nick (out of simple conversation) he immediately retrieved it for me. I was overjoyed by his courteousness. He did not have to do that for me but he did without hesitation. The staff here does whatever they can to make sure their residents are accommodated, (speaking from my experiences), and this has been one of the best apartments I’ve experienced since my move to Houston 3 years ago. As long as you don’t bring issues, live a peaceful life & do right as a tenant, the stay at Post at Afton Oaks will be one you won’t regret.

I can honestly say I have lived in many apartments, but by far this is the best apartment complex Ive lived in. The staff is amazing especially Oscar. The Apartment manager is always on it and very helpful. I can honestly depend on her to get anything done if there was a need. I usually dont take time out my day to write reviews. But this place deserves it!!!!

I have lived at Post Afton Oaks for just about a year-and-a-half and I have loved my time there. My apartment location is perfect, the community location is perfect, and it is extremely well-managed. Having previously worked in property management for 10+ years, I can be quite the critic, I know, but man oh man have they impressed me. The entire Post Afton Oaks Team--office and service--work very cohesively to ensure that this community is managed well. While it is always great to make residents happy, what is even better is managing a community with a keen eye for detail, communicating and executing solid policies, and operating with sincere concern for residents, as well as ones reputation. I appreciate the hard work that Sheree, Alex, Ali, and Caila display daily, and the I have found those that make up the service team are kind, honest, and take care of your home and the community as if it was their own. Id like to give a huge thanks to the front office and maintenance team. The entire staff really.. Moving in was seamless and I had numerous moving parts going on. Any questions I had or anything I needed to have done was addressed immediately. The entire staff has earned 5 stars in my book. I personally want to give a thanks to Alex and Nick. Alex has been my go to in the office and Nick really helped me the other day. I needed help lifting a TV up to its mount( not in maintenances job description) and Alex called Nick. Nick met me outside the office immediately, came up, and helped with the TV. One of the brackets to the mount was not screwed in properly and Nick not only noticed, but took the TV down and fixed it for me. This is going above and beyond for your resident. I appreciate yall and will be recommending this property to anyone looking for a new home!

First time I came to this place was in May and the people worked there were horrible they didnt give any accurate information and they were very lazy But I really like the place and building so I came back in September and the management got changed. There is a man his name is Americo who is very helpful and hardworking we went at 5:40 but he let us see many apartments in the complex and helped us a lot he stayed with us till 6:30 just to answer our questions and concerns.Great location, great building , very clean and calm. This is the best place if u want to stay in Galleria and if u do need a good deal and help just ask for Mr.Americo
