The outstanding service provided by your office staff, particularly the manager, whose name I unfortunately do not recall. During my recent visit, I was truly happy by her interactions with other residents, which showed her strong relationships and genuine compassion. She made my son’s move into his first apartment a good experience and made sure we felt welcomed. As a parent, it brings me great comfort to know he has chosen the right apartment complex.

I was not approved in August because of my credit. I have been building back and will reapply in October. Edna Ontiveros is one of the main reasons I want to live here. She has been very helpful and professional. I believe the rest of the staff will make living here a great experience if they conduct themselves the way she does.

Currently live there. Its affordable and in a decent neighborhood. Neighbors can be noisy and it can be difficult to get maintenance orders done through the app.Update (9/20/24) : Things have definitely improved for the better lately. They have night security enforcing noise compliance and curfew. Much quieter now. Also the office staff has been so much nicer and helpful. Maintenance responds so much faster and the gentleman is very knowledgeable. Hes been great with communication and resolving whatever issues weve ran into. Theres still room for improvement but Ill definitely give credit where credit is due. Keep up the good work.

Looks like there is a new mailbox vandalism going on here. Last week I noticed my mailbox was not locking and I put in a maintenance on Friday. I have not received any mail since friday. Today I saw few other mailboxes have the doors not closed. I checked and found the lock inside my mailbox is missing. I hope the management does something ASAP to fix this issue.Update 7/26- Thank you Management and the maintenance team to have responded and taking care of this issue. Hope the residents be responsible and help this community to be a better place

The nicest pool & outdoor area on the block! These places were originally built with just a cement pit surrounded by a metal railing as the common area, but Landing at McCallum has up leveled theirs into a resort-like atmosphere with plants & landscaping, shade, furniture, plus gas grill & trellis. Great environment for families and events.

Jennifer Rodriguez is the Best! We applied and got the apartment within two weeks. We had a walk through and she even worked with our budget in the best way she could. I’m glad to be able to have her as part of my new apartment management team and I can’t wait to start our new journey in Landing at McCallum.

Malisa our new Manager is a great lady she has cleared most of the drug activities away from our property she really gets what needs to be done all done she doesnt play around and Im excited about whats to come from her and her new crew. Ive been here going on 4 years and never seen the other managers do half of what shes done at landing of McCallum I have told a couple of people I know about this community Ive never recommended these apartments to none of the people I know. Even the outside is well kept and the maintenance has fixed almost everything in my unit without delay. Theres no over flow of trash at the trash bends I appreciate her so much and hope she stays.

The apartments just switched management companies again and the new staff are all really nice (night and day from the last staff).The apartments themselves have a lot of issues, as to be expected in older buildings, but the community is trying to improve. Brittany the assistant listened to our concerns and had the maintenance man fix all our stuff the next day, mind you we have been waiting a whole year for these issues that they fixed in one day. My friend recently moved in and I love her new apartment! Great location near major highways and target is literally 3 minutes away. I love the walk in closet and the fact that they have washer and dryer connections in her new apartment. I can’t wait till my lease is up to move in here.

I moved here in June 2017 and I’m currently still living here. The staff is really good. When calling in a problem, the maintenance come as quick as they can. Since I’ve been here management has changed and I like them better. New management always making events for the residents which you don’t see many apartment complexes doing. I’ve mostly did everything through Victoria so I know her better than the others but I love how well she does her job and she’s pretty friendly with the residents.I’d say the only thing I think could be better really, is the garbage being everywhere but other than that I didnt have many problems over here.

Everything that was described on the lease was straightforward and accurate. The office people were really helpful and did their best only by walk-ins. Communication by phone is non-responsive (non-emergency) so if you want to communicate them about any issues or questions its best to go to their office.

I’m reviewing late but I been wanting to post mine. Randomly getting the urge bc where I’m at now after moving out of McCallum are the worse ! Idk about the complaint about amenities but I found this apartment to be very affordable . I lived here for 2 years and this was my first apartment on my own. It’s kinda small but you get what you pay for and it’s pretty decent . Some roach problem but that happens , proper cleaning and traps kept them away unlike where I live now. What I loved the most was leasing staff and maintenance. They were really on top of it. Victoria was very compromising and communicated well with me, especially came move out time. Also was offered a special to transfer units after my first year . Nothing is perfect when looking for something affordable in dfw area, but definitely not the worse. Thank y’all !

They changed property management team in 2020 Sep. The new team is much better than the previous one. The manager Maribel is very friendly, professional and responsible. Always response quickly and care about tenants. She even gave free pumpkins during Thanksgiving!

Maribel the new manager is very friendly and comes out of her back office to greet people and help her assistant and leasing staff. The new apartment managing company has updated parking stickers and has reorganized the entire parking situation to include more visitors lots to help the safety of parking. This will prevent residents from other nearby apartments from parking in visitors parking spaces. I am generally impressed with how they have moved in and have solved problems that have been existing for the last years I have lived at McCallum.

They were super helpful during Texas Freeze, even going a step further by providing free water bottles case.Highly recommend this society.

Great location and friendly staff! I love all the events (outdoor movies with popcorn by the pool is my favorite so far) that make it fun to meet your neighbors. Good parking and my cat loves all the windows in our apartment. I even got $200 off my rent once for referring my coworker!!

This review is for Wehner Multifamily the management company that just bought McCallum Glen apartments at 7740 McCallum Blvd. in Dallas Texas. Jose the Lead Maintenance person came and figured out why my air conditioner wasnt working. Hes going to fix it Tuesday (September 8th) as the blower motor is burned out. But, hes bringing a window unit to at least cover the apartment till then. I work from home due to COVID so I cant leave my apartment for multiple days. To be clear, Im giving Jose a 5 star review. The management company has not communicated with residents and I dont even know how to pay them rent. At the moment Id give them a very negative rating for a severe lack of communication with residents.

After seeing several reviews online about Mccallum, I decided to check it out for myself. Kyndal did a wonderful job w touring me, explaining fees, and all around making my visit as pleasant as possible. Its extremely affordable, especially since Ive paid more for an even worse experience. I had the chance to meet a few different residents while I was there and they were very nice people. Everything you could need is within a couple miles distance and everyone in the office was wonderful. Out of the several apartments I was shown, I saw no evidence of critters or rodents anywhere, which was what really made me check it out for myself. I would suggest Mccallum to anyone looking for affordable living and a decent place to live.
