Lived here for almost 2 years and have had a good experience. Parking can be a bit crazy but overall is a good place to live. One thing to watch out for is that it can get loud on weekends. This has nothing to do with the apartments, they have zero control, but it is worth saying.

Nice clean apartments. Upon moving in, I had brand new carpet and freshly painted walls. Paloma at the front office made my move in very easy.

Lived here for 12 months and loved it! Great price for the location when I moved into the building in 2023. Raul and the rest of the maintenance team were fantastic! Thank you Raul!

  • Review 4 (2021-10-04 - Rating: 5)

I love the location of my apartment! Its conveniently located in the heart of historic downtown Plano. I can walk to all of the restaurants and Im right by the DART station so its easy to get around if needed. I also love the fact that I rarely hear my neighbors. The maintenance staff and office staff are very nice and helpful.

Paloma is the absolute best leasing agent I have encountered in a while!she was all smiles and very cheerful, However, I have leased to a property nearby due to them having better specials and lower rent. If it doesn’t work out at my new place, I might come back here depending on price and specials ! Thank you Paloma

I want to acknowledge the high level of customer service quality received from Shelby Bailey. She was very helpful in assisting us to get an apartment, helped us throughout the process and she answered all our questions. We are very grateful and happy that the company has her on their team. Everyone at Junction 15 has been very nice from management to maintenance. The apartments are clean and beautiful. The location is great!

  • Review 7 (2021-06-17 - Rating: 5)

We’ve lived at Junction for 2 years now. Even though management shifted after a year of being here, we still love it! Maintenance is timely and efficient. The staff is really good about communicating any changes via email. I’m always able to talk with someone when I call or email. Staff is kind, and supportive! The amenities are well kept, and the apartments themselves are beautiful. Our only complaint is parking. If you get home late, you’ll park on the roof. That’s a minor inconvenience, as we always have at least A spot in the garage, whether it be the roof or our floor or somewhere in between. My husband and I bought a home, and we’ll be sad to leave Junction!

  • Review 8 (2020-07-08 - Rating: 5)

This is our 10th month living at Junction15 and we love it! My fiancée and I are renewing our lease again because it’s just that pleasant. The management is super helpful and kind. Maintenance is fast and efficient, even during the pandemic! The apartment is the perfect size. We have a courtyard view and absolutely love it! The only downside is that there’s no porch storage like we’ve had at past apartments, but we have room to store inside, just would rather have it outside. We love the covered garage. It gets kind of hard to find a parking spot on our floor if it’s late at night, but we always find a spot in the garage, regardless of floor! Those are small complaints compared to previous experiences at other apartments. The community is great, and we love living so close to downtown, since they have so many events throughout the year! Overall, I highly recommend living here! It’s worth the price.

  • Review 9 (2022-07-13 - Rating: 5)

I love the secure feeling of being here! The entry is secure through a flob entrance as well the gate to get into the garage ! The elevator/stairs up give that safe feeling! The hallways are nice, not too hot! The apartment is spacious, bedrooms separated by the living room in the middle is perfect! No one feels too squished! Maintenance is quick to fix any issues & very nice. The large bathrooms, kitchen open concept is perfect!!The pool area is big enough, it does get crowded on the weekends, but is fun! The meeting areas are spacious, the gym is great! The area surrounding is perfect for walking around, grabbing coffee, dinner, drinks, or dessert. It’s an amazing place to be, walking distance to si many fun things!!

  • Review 10 (2020-03-05 - Rating: 4)

Been living here a couple of months. Apartments are nice. Im in a one bedroom with my wife. Its very affordable for the location, but a tad small. There also an odd hole in the wall between the bedroom and living room with this floor plan. This wasnt a surprise, as it was mentioned to us before signing the lease. However, we didnt anticipate how much the noise leaking between rooms would be an issue. She wakes up before me for work and I can hear her pour her cereal while Im in bed.The appliances are very good and the electric bill, which can get crazy in Texas summers, had been much cheaper than previous apartments. The workout facility is nice. Having a parking garage is a plus as a truck owner since hail is a problem and my truck cant fit into single car garages at other apartments. The parking is pretty limited if you get home after 7pm.Location is great if you like downtown Plano. Close to good food, good coffee places, and some bars. Also right next to the red line dart station, which is nice for going down to Dallas proper. The office management is awesome. Weve have talked with Barbara Jimenez and Tiffany. They have been very helpful and they are super responsive to maintenance and other questions. This is one of the few complexes Ive lived at where I have confidence in the staff. They also remember who we are by name, which is a bonus. All said, I would recommend this apartment building. Lots of positive things to say about it with very few issues.Update: As of 2020, this building is changing hands. It was formerly a part of Gables, but that is changing. I dont yet have much experience with the new management, but our favorite employee, Barbra has since left. Im not sure how accurate my review will be for future residents.

  • Review 11 (2021-10-15 - Rating: 5)

I have zero complaints. When I first moved in I thought the Dart rail being so close would be a nuisance, but not at all. The noise is drowned out by the all the fun youll be having. The staff is great, always kind and helpful. Neighbors are great as well. The location is prime real estate, next to bars, restaurants, parks and the farmers market. The City of Plano also has multiple events along 15th Street, which is a great way to meet your neighbors. I cant say enough great things about living here. I love it here!

  • Review 12 (2020-11-08 - Rating: 5)

So far I have been living here with my family for 1 month and everything seems great. The management team is great about any building updates etc. Some things are out of the control which is understandable. The new paint inside of the building looks great. The location is wonderful, its within walking distance to great shops, restaurants and more. We moved here because our home is being built nearby and were so glad we chose Junction 15. I would recommend.

  • Review 13 (2019-10-11 - Rating: 4)

I lived at Junction 15 for two years, and recently moved out. Overall, I think it was a nice place - I lived on the police station side, and while it could occasionally be distracting when the officers had to zip out and use their sirens, it happened infrequently and was mostly muted.Maintenance staff was fast and efficient, and very rarely had anything to call them about. The apartment was, overall, in great condition. The proximity to downtown Plano is great. Lots of restaurants, and events regularly take place in Haggard Park. Now for a few negatives:- Price. It is expensive. I get that this is downtown Plano, but it was a bit much.- Parking is an issue. I never had an issue actually finding a spot, but you did have to go hunting for one late at night. Also my car was moved by a tow-truck into a reserved spot one night, and management did nothing about it - Im just glad I wasnt actually towed for that nonsense.- Because parking is an issue, it is really hard to get people to your apartment to have get-togethers. I rarely had people over because getting them to find a parking spot was too difficult.- There were some issues with the fire alarm in my final months there, mostly with it going off at least once a month in the middle of the night. As an already sleep-deprived teacher, it was quite unpleasant.Overall, J15 is a nice place with a lot of positives. But, like any other apartment, it comes with its own unique issues, and its good to be aware of them before you move in.

  • Review 14 (2017-04-27 - Rating: 5)

My wife and I have lived here for almost 2 years and we love it here. So many of the negative comments on Google are grossly exaggerated. Especially the ones about the management team. Ive never experienced anything remotely discourteous or unprofessional. And the maintenance team is top notch. Im writing a review to balance things out a bit. We have two cars and a motorcycle and never had one ding, dent or scratch. And weve never had our vehicle towed because we follow the rules. What a concept! Is it very noisy at times? Yes. But between the train, the traffic and the bars, thats to be expected. When we moved in (Aug 2015), there was no band stand. That is my only complaint. The windows are paper thin and you hear every drum beat and every note. You cant escape it even with ear plugs. But other than that, we love it here. If anything ever causes us to leave, it will be that dang band stand.

  • Review 15 (2016-03-07 - Rating: 4)

Overall I love living in these apartments, I am a current resident and have been living here for about 6 months now. The staff is amazing and work orders are usually taken care of within a week unless something needs to be ordered which is understandable. One of my favorite things is the social atmosphere, every wednesday night there is happy hour down in the clubhouse and everyone brings something! Apart from that some of the residents host their own events sporadically and it is a lot of fun! The apartments have recently changed management and everything is still very nice. There is some shortage on parking in the garage but they have recently enforced parking passes and will tow if you do not have one. I dont necessarily enjoy the noise from the club on friday nights but that also depends on what side you live on. Others who live on the opposite side from the train say that cannot hear any of the club noise from urban rio or the train. I highly recommend living in these apartments and will miss it when I have to move out in the next few months due to the fact that I cannot afford them by myself without a roommate.

Have lived here going on 2 years now, and about to renew for a 3rd! LOVE this property, and the neighborhood. The staff is always so helpful and prompt to take care of anything I need. Iwona has been ESPECIALLY helpful during this most recent renewal. They also are always having really fun community events for the residents. Highly recommend, all around great place to live!

  • Review 17 (2017-10-01 - Rating: 5)

Lived here for 2 months on the train track side. Yes the train is loud but you get used to it. It doesnt run all night. Yes the bar across the street is loud but not every night Fri & Sat only. Service requests handled quickly. CLEAN apartment. Great garage.Seriously. No complaints. MGT staff is awesome.I have a 9 month old & I love this place for him too.

  • Review 18 (2023-02-16 - Rating: 5)

Quiet community. The area is kept clean always. If something isnt working (elevator or parking gate) notifications are sent promptly and the issue is resolved quickly. Lots of amenities (gym, pool, grill, entertainment room to reserve, lots of activities). The only thing that took getting used to was the train unfortunately.

  • Review 19 (2019-05-01 - Rating: 5)

I love living at Junction 15! Not only do the units have beautiful finishes for an extremely reasonable price, in a convenient and fun location, the staff is kind and caring. I would gladly live in a less desirable apartment just to have the same leasing office and maintenance staff that we currently have! If you care about living somewhere where you are more than a unit number, Gables Residential and Junction 15 is the place to be.

  • Review 20 (2018-01-05 - Rating: 4)

Compliments:The Staff: I lived at Junction 15 for a yaer and I am blown away by their customer service. The ladies at the front desk (community managers) have great follow up and are problem-solvers instead of problem creators. They even went outside with me to check my garage opener when it wasnt working and checked in with me a few days later. These ladies truly care and I feel like a valued resident. The Unit: I LOVE my unit. Modern vibe. Although J15 is located on a very social street, I can rarely the concerts or dart rail from my apartment. Very spacious and clean. The indoor corridors made moving easy and come in handy when youre brining in groceries on a rainy day. The pool, work out room, and courtyard are spotless. The Community: There are a lot of food and entertainment options within walking distance of the complex. This location has favorable access to HWY 635 and the George Bush Turnpike. There are always activities on the weekend that are fun to go to and you dont have to worry about parking because the complex has its own parking garage. However, you might have to park on the very top every now and then!Complaints:I lived in a courtyard unit. While this was nice, people are always smoking cigarettes outside and the smell infiltrated my apartment.Dogs barking. Lots of them. Thankfully, they would stop barking come bed time, but its still not pleasant to listen to every day when you get home from work until past dinner time.Theres always construction on Highway 75 by the apartment, but this is hard to avoid in DFW.Loud neighbors or thin walls? (walking/banging cabinets, not loud talking). This one is hard to avoid, too.Visitor parking can be tough to find and your friends will be towed. Speaking from experience.

  • Review 21 (2018-04-18 - Rating: 5)

We lived in Junction 15 apartments for a year and really enjoyed the time we spent here. Perfect proximity to the Dart line and Bars/Restaurants. Friendly staff, Quiet, Clean, and Great Community!! The only reason we are leaving is because we purchased a home. 100% recommend considering Junction 15 apartments.

  • Review 22 (2019-03-01 - Rating: 4)

I have been here only 3 months so far, but have had a very positive experience so far. I love the neighborhood. It was only loud one night so far, my apt is next to train line which means close to the night life. I love the convenience for my daily commute to uptown for work. I am looking forward to seeing what spring will be like around here.

  • Review 23 (2018-10-19 - Rating: 5)

We have lived here for three months and so far we absolutely love it. I told my boyfriend this apartment complex is more of a Lifestyle Apartment. People dont have to live here, they want to. It is in the best location EVER, steps away from amazing restaurants and bars, and there is always some fun activities going on. I have lived in a few apartments over the course of a few years and this is by far the best. One of my favorite qualities is the lack of noise, the insolation in the walls must be amazing because we never hear ANYTHING from our neighbors and on one side we have a baby, and the other a giant doggo. If you are in the hallways you can hear inside peoples apartments because of the thin doors but thats the only time youll ever hear a peep from anyone. The staff is AMAZING, Jordan is a new leasing agent and she seems so sweet, Anita is head of maintenance and she is great. She saved me big time one day when I dropped my keys down the garbage shoot (which are very convenient, just dont drop your keys lol). I would go on but this Is already so lengthy, I give this place a thumbs up!

  • Review 24 (2021-10-04 - Rating: 5)

Management is absolutely great here. Maintenance comes right away when you need them. The hallways are kept cleaned. The trash is always being cleaned up and put out on time. I love this place and would recommend to anyone. Yes, the parking can get a bit full and you have to go park on a different floor but I don’t see it as a big issue. You just already know what to expect.

  • Review 25 (2017-09-23 - Rating: 5)

I feel like apartments will always be a mixed bag for people. This may be, in no small part, to negatives that have nothing (or little) to do with the structure or management. Such will be the case with this review, though I hope to make that distinction clear to give an informative review of this property.Pros:I will skip over the more obvious pros of closeness to public transit, nearby park, etc. as those should be obvious to anyone visiting the property.Maybe we won the neighbor lottery but we have not had any noise issues with connecting neighbors (which has been the case for almost all past apartments). In Junction 15s case, we have had a few different neighbors (having lived here since it was first completed) and have had zero issues; so it is more likely that the construction at Junction 15 is better than our past apartments. The management staff actually do TRY to enforce rules (even if it is not always successful). This may not seem like much of a positive but, for me, it is quite substantial. Try living in several apartments where people let their dogs use the parking garage as a toilet; where other residents leave garbage in the hallway, and see if the managements response does not matter. A small number of residents will still always do these things, but the management has tried to keep ahead of it by either building in consequences if possible or (at the very least) continuing to send out reminders. Also related to management and maintenance, I have personally never had a bad experience (on a customer service level). I know this can be an extremely subjective experience but maintenance has been responsive and polite and management has been the same. The absolute WORST experience I had was management being cool or mildly dismissive on a particularly busy day (which I understood). It is probably important to note that apartment staff tend to have a decently high turnaround rate it seems (not sure why this is the case but it bears considering when passing judgement on management as a whole).Cons:As I mentioned earlier, I actually have no cons that directly relate to management, maintenance, or the building itself; but here are some cons to consider when moving here that may give you pause. For the record, I still live at Junction 15 and do not plan to move anytime soon.Downtown Plano can get a bit loud. This is occasionally true at virtually any hour (depending on the day and what event is happening). Between the rooftop clubs, Haggard Park events, and the (relatively) newly built stage, there is a decent amount of noise to contend with. City sponsored events cut the noise when you would expect (around 10pm) the clubs, however, do not seem to operate under the same restrictions, sometimes continuing on as late as 1-2am. That said, if I am in my room sleeping, I usually do not hear a thing. Only when I am, myself, still up and active in the living room (this may be different based on your floor plan and location of unit).Parking garage. As I am sure has been mentioned, the parking garage can easily fill up (or close to it). Management regularly has un-stickered cars towed but (for some inexplicable reason) it seems to have only marginal effect. This issue is most felt by those getting in at later hour or when there is inclement weather. One final neutral observation: while cross noise from apartment walls is marginal to non-existent; noise from hallway through the front door is more pronounced. This does not bother me and our floormates are generally a quite bunch when it comes to the hall space. It is, however, worth noting. Objective interpretation aside (and on a more personal note), I have been overwhelmingly pleased with this apartment complex and its staff. And would like to thank them for helping us when and how they can; and in doing their best to create a warm, welcoming community. Despite the cons I have mentioned, I feel 5 stars are deserved, as the cons would be difficult (if not impossible) to mitigate; though the management does try (as noted above).

  • Review 26 (2017-07-01 - Rating: 4)

I love living at Junction and in Downtown Plano. I think this is a great building with a lot of friendly people. My friends who live in other complexes are always surprised by our community. I do think maintenance could keep the carpets a bit cleaner, but other than that, Junction is fantastic!

  • Review 27 (2024-08-15 - Rating: 5)

Love the location of these apartments, so far no issues and maintenance is very responsive.

  • Review 28 (2017-02-04 - Rating: 4)

Rent is a bit high for the area and lack of dog resources. Inside the construction was thrown up quickly and you can tell if you look at things closely. Overall quiet and quaint and upscale. Parking is a cinch and maintenance is handled very quickly.

  • Review 29 (2020-01-21 - Rating: 5)

I have enjoyed living here. The front office is great and is quick to serve every need with quality and a good heart. Each neighbor I have met has been nice and hard workin. I would recommend Junction 15 to anyone

  • Review 30 (2017-02-06 - Rating: 5)

Not sure what all the complaints are about. Yes Ive only been here a month but this place is awesome. Never once had a problem with parking or noise so far. I think people might just have sticks inconveniently placed inside of them. My 2 service requests were fulfilled very quickly. So far so good on everything..

  • Review 31 (2018-10-21 - Rating: 5)

So far so good. I just moved here 10/18/18. I have no complaints. The area is great and I love that I have quick access to the dart train. Barbara and Jourdan has been so kind and helpful the whole time!
