    I had the privilege to stay at Encore Montrose for over a year. Yesenia made our move in process smooth and was always a big help throughout our stay. I highly recommend Encore Montrose apartments. You have the luxury of high quality amenities and are in a prime location to walk to parks/coffee shops.

    Have been in Encore for nearly a year now. It has been one of the best apartments I have lived in (and I have lived in more than a dozen.)Its in probably the most perfect location in Houston. Central, but enough off the beaten path that it feels significantly less sketchy (and has, so far, had no car break-ins in the time Ive been here, while every single other apartment Ive lived in Houston had multiple while I was there, and these were nice apartments in good parts of town.)The staff is attentive and very pleasant, all of the people in the office are very nice to interact with and do their jobs well (my lone gripe was the rollout of the app-based gate unlocking system-- when it didnt work for me the first day, after hours, there wasnt any troubleshooting plan in place so I sat outside the gate for 20 minutes until someone else came in-- had there been an emergency, that would have been less than ideal.) Otherwise, they are great at communicating and with keeping the community running smoothly. Probably a top 3 management team/office staff I have lived under!So far not a single roach inside our apartment which is something of a miracle in this city. Everything generally feels pretty clean and well kept. Most all of the machines in the gym have worked the whole time and are kept clean (I think one treadmill is broken.)The apartment itself is nice and gets a lot of good light. Nice fixtures. Great washer and dryer. Decent amount of noise from the upstairs neighbors but nothing out of the ordinary. Fairly well climate controlled.My rating is really a 4.5 for two main reasons-- one, the elevators are ALWAYS BROKEN (particularly the freight elevator, which is obnoxiously small for a freight elevator.) A little annoying in the mornings, when you are running late with your kids in a stroller, to find your usual elevator is out and you have to walk to the entire other side of the building to get down to the garage (and thats an entire city block, lest you think Im being too whiny, nearly a 5 minute walk.)The other issue, which Im surprised I didnt see in more reviews, is that it is VERY noisy if you are on the south side of the building (not sure if its less bad on the higher floors or not.) Traffic on 59 is essentially continuous, and apparently every other person in this city has a muscle car that they rev to 10,000 RPMs through their modified muffler on this stretch of highway (its worse when the sun goes down.) If you dont have a loud white noise machine, you will hear it off and on all night. Gets a little old.Otherwise, great apartment and Id recommend it to any of my friends. I might just suggest they get a top floor on the north, east, or west side of the building, if possible, if theyre bothered by road noise. Will miss living here!

    At least one elevator breaks down every week/biweekly. They’re in the process of trying to fix it, but this sounds like something that will be happening for a while until they’re able to get the parts our elevators need.

    Hands down the best apartment in Houston, staff is extremely fast with emails and all the requests, especially Gabby, she is very friendly and nice, the building material is top notch, finishes are very modern, not cheap appliances, assigned parking is free which is a big plus for me-guaranteed spots! There is a lot to do in this neighborhood, coffee shops, bars, restaurants, post office is right around the corner. Overall the neighborhood is quite safe for inner loop Houston, and is close to rice university campus and the university of Houston as well.-just a side note, if you are sensitive to noises at night make sure to choose a floor plan that’s not on the side of the highway because it could get quite noisy at night on 59, there are three other sides of the building that are facing the neighborhood stresses which is a lot quieter.I have lived here for a 15 months and I have recently relocated to Austin due to school reasons but I absolutely love this complex and the people that work here, they are hard workers and amazing!!!

    I have lived here for almost 3 years and this is one of the top apartment complexes in the area. It’s a small quiet complex that is tucked away. The leasing office and management has always been very nice, professional, and helpful. Ashley is the newest manager and has continued the great work as previous managers. Joel and Yesenia are always in a great welcoming mood when you walk in and they make sure your needs are taken care off. The maintenance staff makes sure work orders are done in a timely matter. I highly recommend choosing Encore Montrose as your next home.

    I have consistently experienced the best residential support services here at Encore. The staff is friendly and helpful… Ashley is our new property manager and I would say, the best one I’ve worked with while living here for over 3 years. Anytime I have submitted a maintenance request I have received a prompt response. Whether it was changing light bulbs, or servicing the electricity, maintence quickly and thoroughly ensures that I have an optimal living environment. I strongly recommend Encore to those who are looking to lease in the Montrose area.

    I have loved living at Encore since moving to Houston. The team at Encore has taken care of me at every turn, going well above and beyond what is asked of them to ensure I am comfortable and happy at home. Ren, the community manager, is a gem, and her whole team shines when it comes to providing professional and high quality support for the residents who live here. The amenities are modern and have everything you need. The location cannot be beat. It is in a quiet neighborhood, but is very accessible to every part of town that you could need, including the Med Center (5-10 minutes tops), Rice Village, Midtown, The Heights, and obviously Montrose itself. I couldn’t have asked for a better first place to call home.

    Ive been here for about 2-3 weeks, and I love it so far. In person and by phone, the leasing office has been nice & helpful. My apartment on move-in was spotless. So far, I havent had any major issues but I have a good feeling that they will be resolved in a timely and effective manner! Happy that each resident has their own assigned parking! Havent gotten a chance to check out the amenities but eager to try those out. Really excited to see what my future stay has to offer here.

    Encore Montrose is a lovely place to live. The grounds are well maintained and free of trash. The leasing office and lounge area are tastefully decorated. The pool area is always neat and clean. The fitness center is clean and organized. My apartment was clean and appliances in proper working order when I moved in. Ren, the manager, is always very kind, helpful, friendly and professional. Joel, the leasing agent, greets me with a smile and friendly hello when I stop by the office. When I put in a work order, it is completed in a timely manner. If something needs to be ordered, I am informed of this and given a time frame. Joseluis from the maintenance staff is knowledgeable, courteous, and professional. The community is quiet at night, which I appreciate. I recommend Encore to anyone who wants to live in the Montrose area.

    The pool is very nice and has a fantastic view, the common area has free coffee and the gym is very clean. The neighbors are quiet and the location is amazing. Many good restaurants around.Editing my review a year later just to add the most important part of the review: the staff! Everyone from management to maintenance is absolutely wonderful. Very professional staff, super friendly, they get the job done quickly and well done. Especially maintenance, every time I have a service request they are quick to address it. Management puts together lots of events for the residents, like pool parties and breakfasts.

    Encore Montrose has a lot to offer, including the best team! I moved in without even physically looking at the apartment (moved to Houston). Leasing office and maintenance are super helpful, Yessenia, Joel, Omar, and Jose- team to reach out to. ;) amenities are best in the area. I have been here almost a year now, my lease is about to expire, and I wish I could extend, but things have to move on! Thanks, Team Encore!

    I moved here from Louisiana recently with having never lived in an apartment complex. I always hear apartment horror stories so of course i was worried, however, Encore Montrose exceeded my expectations! I couldnt imagine a better apartment experience. The leasing professionals are friendly and helpful and make the living experience so easy. I also cant say enough about the maintenance staff. Not only do they make sure the place is in tip top shape, but they go out of their way to be friendly and interact with the community. Every time I see one of the staff members they open the door for me or ask how my day is going or just make me smile. The only inconvenience about Encore is that it is next to I-59 so it can get a bit loud BUT I dont even notice the noise of the highway anymore. Other than that aspect of the location, I absolutely love where we are. The neighborhood is GORGEOUS and full of nature. It is safe and has character. I can walk to all of the museums and Herman park as well as to the coffee shop next door. One of the best BBQ spots in Houston (the pit room) is on the corner of the street - a 2 minute walk away! Overall, I am thrilled with the location and the experience that I have had here!

    Just moved in here and the whole property is amazing everything is up to detail that I like. When I toured the place at first I spoke with Yesenia She made me feel comfortable with everything! Questions she had every answer for me and she made the process so easy for me and when I also spoke with Joel over the phone for my garage parking arrangements he made things easy for me too and when it was my move in day I saw the property manager Ren and she was so Caring and delightful it feel so good to move in such a great property and a lovely area and the whole Staff there that works as a team and that always will go the extra mile to make you feel comfortable and makes a place feel like Home !

    Truly a phenomenal place to to live with a wonderful staff team. I moved from a different state and knew very little about Houston. I researched countless locations and went on several tours, I’m more than confident that choosing Encore Montrose is the best decision I could’ve made.Great location (friendly neighborhood with coffee shops and restaurants within walking distance), fantastic amenities (the pool is great and the dog park is huge), new building so no issues that come out of no where, and an overall pleasant experience.

    The manager, Ren , is so amazing. She actually knows her residents and makes a personal connection with us. The maintenance guys and the front office people are fantastic as well!I’ve been here almost one year and am still so happy with my choice. The amenities are top notch and the area is as safe as can be in a large city.This community is the best choice for medical professionals and anyone looking for a safe, comfortable place to live near the Medcenter. So glad I moved here.

    I love Encore Montrose! Great location, safe and cute ambiance. The staff are great including the office and maintenance. Everyone is professional and gets things done. Im happy with my apartment and would be scared to move because I dont know if I could find a place that has everything perfected like here. Props to management!Update: Something that could be improved is to have fewer and shorter fire alarms. In just over a year that I’ve been here, there have been three and they last a few hours each time. Even after the fire department leaves, it takes hours to stop the alarms.

    Absolutely amazing place to live. There is always 1 or 2 people at the front desk who are amazing! They are always so sweet and attentive. When you put in a maintenance request it gets taken care of 2-3 days after. And they call you personally to let you know when theyll be there. There are 2 main maintence men and they always know exactly what theyre doing- no bullcrap- they know what theyre talking about. They are also so nice and impressively- they remember who we are and what we look like. So if we see them in the hallways, they remember our apartment number and always ask to make sure everything is good.Trash people come everyday at 8 PM on time to pick up valet trash. Maintenance crew always cleans the carpet in the halls at least once a week- Always smells nice.Also as a bonus, we have little events that they apartment staff decorate and celebrate- and at the events theres always free food, snacks, treats for your pets, etc.

    Going on my fourth week of living here and so far im obsessed! I moved from 15 hours away and was nervous about finding a place that felt safe, clean, close to work, and within my budget. First of all, I feel SO safe here - I get off late so that was a BIG concern for me. The entire building is gated and you have to use a fob to get in the parking garage / building! I love having an assigned parking spot because I know I will not have to walk for a long time to get to my apartment (which is especially nice when I get home late). The apartment complex is SO clean and honestly looks brand new to me. The people that work here are very nice too which is a bonus! Location is great - close to grocery stores, shops, restaurants, and the med center!

    I just moved in here a few weeks ago and I cant say enough about this place! I have only been in Texas for 1 year now, and this place is night and day compared to where I stayed at in Kingwood.The location is great! There are so many explorable places all within walking distance and or a short commute. I always go off of a Vibe when I feel out an area. This area is quiet, people are friendly, plenty of fur babies in the community and for me lots of Vegan options which I couldnt find in a 30 mile radius in Kingwood. I am still exploring and finding something new everyday.The apartment itself is what I call top tier! I stay in the A4, it is quite bigger than it looks on the website FYI. At my old place you could hear people walking the halls and when your neighbors come and go. I dont hear any of that in this apartment. Its super quiet! From the appliances, to the amenities, and they also have a huge Bark park for the dogs. This was a huge selling point for me due to working remote and my dog having so much energy. The Bark Park is well kept and it seems as though most people pick up after their pets so its very clean. There is also 2 dog washing stations and a separate area to wash your dog. These stations are professional cleaning pet appliances!Lastly the staff is amazing! I dealt mostly Aminta who went above and beyond to make sure the process went smoothly for me transitioning here. Joel has been great also. Super friendly and welcoming for request and questions.My only gripe out of everything I love here is that the elevators are slower than what I have experienced. Both elevators are clean and well kept, just a bit slower than what I would like. To me that is very minor compared to all of the other wonderful things I love about this place. I wish I would have found it sooner and look forward to residing here for awhile.

    Pretty happy so far. Finishings in the apartment are good, and quality. The unit is quiet and the walls seem pretty well sound insulated. I never hear my neighbors. Great availability in the way of fiber optic internet and TV (a huge plus these days.) Staff all seem really nice, remember your name and are all eager to help. The one minor maintenance issue Ive had so far was handled really fast.Amenities like the package lockers, corner store vending, and on-demand in-home assistance are really appreciated. Things in common areas are pretty well maintained, too.If I had any tiny gripes so far: a few gym machines need some work, but not a deal breaker. Also: having a second/backup key fob would be really helpful for those who travel and have friends check on pets - unfortunately, corporate policy makes them unable to give those out.

    Probably the best apartment complex in Houston. They always respond very promptly - I never have to email twice or ask twice. The service requests are done right away (even during COVID period, properly and safely with face masks), the two times i had an emergency request, they came within 20 minutes. They handled/are handling the pandemic very well by ensuring everyone that comes to the leasing office wears a mask and limiting to two guests at a time there. They are still accepting packages (which ive heard some apartments are not) and delivering to your door if requested due to feeling unsafe. Lastly - the ladies working in the leasing office are incredibly nice and are always willing to help as best as they can.The only complaint I have is that the walls are thin - but I am assuming most new constructions have terrible insulation unfortunately.

    Encore Montrose is amazing and perfect in every way! The amenities are unlike any apartment complex. The apartment units are well built with wonderful, well thought out layouts. The office and maintenance staff are very helpful and welcoming. This is definitely a place I call home!

    Was looking for a vibrant one bedroom apartment in the thriving Montrose District which I found immediately with this complex. Brent and Ellyn were fantastic in providing a tour of diverse and distinct apartment options, highlighting amenities and really enthusiastic and proud of the complex they represent and manage. Ellyn even helped me on a Saturday afternoon in answering questions as I filled out my application. The friendliness and availability of the staff along with the wonderful aesthetics of the apartments like wood floors, granite countertops, new appliances really sold me on this complex. An absolutely gorgeous complex conveniently located to downtown Houston off a great street, Richmond! I give the staff 10 stars for being extremely knowledgeable and helpful in the apartment search as I am moving from a small rural city, Amarillo to what is truly the big city, Houston!

    Went in for a tour of the property after a very unfortunate event occurred at my current residence. My mood and demeanor very disturbed and overcast; I was immediately greeted by Carina one of the leasing staff at Encore with a smiling face. As I discussed a few of my concerns and described my needs in order to consider a property, Carina the leasing agent, was able to supply with a minimum of 5 floorplans that each catered to specifics that I was interested in. While she handed me the three layouts that I liked the most from the five we went on a tour of the community and she gave me a little information about her history in the community leasing industry which also gave me a sense of comfort. Immediately following the tour of the first floor amenities I was escorted to the communities club room and offered a beverage of my choice and sat down with Carina to discuss my thoughts/concerns likes/dislikes about the community thus far. The time and effort put into the tour offered me a very home like feel and gave the impression that Carina cared about my thoughts and took pride in the community that she was showing. Once I toured the apartment layouts Carina never pushed me into getting the most expensive one or even the cheapest one, instead she took the time to listen to my commentary and read my body language and she helped me pick the layout that spoke most to me. She was considerate of my beliefs and spirituality and even pointed out a few things in the apartment I hadnt even noticed. It took me about a week to make my final decision and the ultimate choice I made was on the finishing touch Carina placed on my tour. Carina took the time to send me a handwritten card in the mail to thank me for taking the time to tour with her and for trusting that she would make my living experience at Encore a pleasurable one. Although I came in under unfortunate circumstances Carina was able to turn that into a move I am now looking forward to. I highly recommend coming in and talking with Carina if you are considering moving to the Montrose area, shes great!

    I don’t normally write reviews, but I had to comment on how amazing these apartments are! I was not sure about this building because it’s new, but when I walked in and met with Carina, the Leasing agent, I felt much more comfortable. Carina took the time to really explain everything to me, and to walk me around the property. She also showed me several different units, and after my time with her I decided to lease! I really can’t talk up Carina enough. She is so friendly and patient that it really made all the difference to me in deciding to lease! I am so looking forward to living here!! Thank you Carina!!

    Brent, the leasing agent, is fantastic! He is friendly, knowledgeable and really cares about the Encore Montrose residents.The entire maintenance team is also amazing!! Led by Carlos and William, they respond to maintenance requests in a very timely manner and keep the entire facility clean.

    Have lived here almost three months and love it! Great location...low key community ....fantastic staff!     This complex is one of the best in Houston - and I’m a tough critic! Every time I go into the office, the staff is so friendly and accommodating. They are always so helpful, and I have just been so appreciative of the service I’ve received. A clean, safe community can be difficult to find in the city, but this place has really got it down!
