My renting experience with Double D has been absolutely amazing. I’ve been there for over a year now and just signed another year. It’s a great house with awesome service! The staff especially Lelo are very professional and super friendly. Anytime I had an issue with the property it was taken care of in a timely fashion. We have loved renting from Double D Rentals for the past several years! They are always extremely friendly and quick to assist with anything you need help with. They usually send someone out the same day for repairs and you can tell they care about their tenants. We have had only positive experiences and recommend them completely!

I have loved renting with Double D! I lived at one of their apartments for over 3.5 years. Any time I had a problem, they responded the same day or next day. When I first moved in, there was a problem with the fridge in my unit and the AC- they came out and replaced the fridge and fixed the AC unit within the same 2 day time frame. They even replaced a fan that that had started to not work, no questions asked. They are super responsive via text message to all requests and questions. When you need a work order done, you can file online and select preferred days and times (a feature I really appreciated). Everyone is super friendly. The maintenance staff and administrative staff really care about the properties and tenants. The properties are well cared for and taken care of throughout your lease and before moving in. This is probably one of the best rental companies I’ve ever used in my 10 years of renting.

I have rented two different locations through Double D Rentals. It has always been a joy working with Lilo in the office. He response quickly and always has the answer I am looking for. The properties I have rented are always beautiful and fairly priced. I am always looking for a good deal and Double D Rentals has it! I recommended all my friends to check here before anywhere else in town when looking for a new place to rent.

Rented from Double D Rentals for a year and have absolutely no complaints! The management team is great and super nice. Any requests for maintenance were handled within 24 hours. Definitely recommend to rent through them!

I have lived in my home for 2 years and whenever we have a problem, I just call the office and speak with Lilo or Christi and they are always very nice, they always take care of whatever needs fixing as soon as possible. I have never had a problem with Double D rentals.

Weve been renting through Double D Rentals for 1 year and 5 months. We are very happy with our 2b/2b apartment.The office staff, Lilo and Rachel, are friendly and professional. They are also very good about relaying messages via text or email when they need to notify us of info such as filter changes, etc..The maintenance men do a great job when something needs to be fixed or replaced. Plus, they keep the grounds cut and looking very nice.If you are looking for a rental, give them a call.

Double D Rentals is a great rental company. I have been in one apt. for over 2 years now. Any maintenance issues that have come up have been addressed professionally and in a timely manner. There are regular AC filter changes, regular extermination services as well as regular rotation of fire extinguishers provided to tenants. My experience with the office has been positive and Darlene leans in to make sure the properties are managed well. She has a lot of experience in the field and is exactly the personality type I want to work with keeping a roof overhead.Is anything in the world perfect? No. But there are a lot of options out there for you to have a place to live and Double D provides realistic solutions for the working class. Attentive maintenance, effective staff and affordable rates have worked well for me and mine that I provide for.

Ive been renting here for 5+ years. They have a great maintenance that handle everything in a great timely manner and are very nice. The new management are amazing people, who are always willing to give a helping hand. And the environment is pretty peaceful. i have no complaints about this place.

Lilo and Rachael are good landlords and Lilo helped get me out of a hotel into a studio apt in the brick/azalea district last September. Except for the noise and no parking spaces, the apt was clean, and comfortable. Renting from them was a good experience. They did not hassle about the rent and always kept me informed of things via texts. My requests were handled timely and professionally. Thank you both for everything!

Leased the top loft at 421 W Woldert for a while (>2yrs). Double D management and staff always responsive and professional the few times the place needed repairs or when there were questions. Was appreciative when they added online contact and payment system. If I need or want another small place in the Tyler area, I will certainly be talking to them first.

Ive been renting from here for a year now and though theres been a small bug problem in the summer, they spray a healthy amount which helps curb the problem. When our upstairs neighbors pipe leaked and damaged our wall, they got it fixed the very next day. The best thing about them is they found out my SO is trans and documented his chosen name in our file. They always make sure to call him by his name and pronoun. They didnt have to do that but they did and its really nice that they did.

I’ve been renting a studio apartment in one of DDR’s downtown properties for eight months now. I have to say—in truth and with full seriousness—that I’m more than a bit shocked at the undeservedly low Google ratings some people have given to DDR. I had to check twice to make sure I was reading correctly, because I absolutely cannot for the life of me understand why or how anyone could ever possibly claim that Double D Rentals is anything but an outstanding, professional, well-run, responsive, and generally praiseworthy company. I don’t work for them, nobody paid me to write this, and I’m saying all of it of my own accord. Why? Because this company deserves much better ratings. I suspect that the low ratings people gave were probably due to crazy, angry former tenants who have a chip on their shoulder. (And I’d bet THEIR ratings be even lower if DDR could rate THEM!) Look, the bottom line is that these are good, kindhearted, sensible people and, at least in my experience and on the property where I rent, things are good. They’ve been good for eight months. I couldn’t ask for a more ideal rental situation and I mean that with every fiber of my being.
