The Dorel apartment is both separated from the sounds of the city while also being close to everything I need. Mrs. Brittany Jackson was the Leasing professional that assisted my husband and me in moving in. She was exceptionally helpful and knowledgeable, answering all of our questions. She made the worst part of any leasing process, filing our paperwork, quick and easy. It was one of the few times I have had little to no issues with the leasing process.

Let me just start by saying Brittany Jackson is amazing. When I came, she was doing it all by herself as far as showing the properties and the applications and helping me online with the application. Here, I dont feel as though I am a place holder to meet numbers, but as one of the family. While facing some difficulties, Mrs. Tanya has remained kind, compassionate, communicative, understanding & flexible (within limits) to preserve my residency. Her warm smile makes lifes pressures easier to cope with. Brittany J has been truly delightful, offering her magnetic energy coupled with providing advice & resources to aid me in persevering through these difficulties. They are timely to resolve any residency issues, and that is very important to me. I highly recommend anyone to become a resident....You will not regret it😀😀

From the moment my daughter and I stepped foot on the property, our experience far exceeded any other property we had visited and/or considered. Tanya was very knowledgeable and so personable! She provided us with quality care and the upmost respect; She was absolutely amazing! However, it did stop there. Brittany was phenomenal!!!!! Not only was her character impeccable, her kindness and care was more than I as a mother could have imagined for my daughter moving into her first apartment independently. Brittany was patient and ensured she answered all our questions, provided us a detailed tour of the grounds and apartment, and ensured we were okay various times during the process. I am truly grateful for this experience and would love give a rating higher than 5 stars. Brittany and Tanya deserve 1000/10! Thanks for a stress-free and absolutely pleasant experience obtaining the apartment my daughter truly is ecstatic to have.

Ms.Brittney is a ray of sunshine of a cloudy day ! She worked with me and my wife for hours to cater to our every need. Being a disabled vet I had a few accommodations that I needed arranged. She was more than happy to do everything in her power to do so. She juggled walk-ins and appointments all the while making sure we felt welcomed and heard. She gave us a full tour of the facility making sure we saw everything. She aided us at every turn in out application and lease! I would highly recommend the dorel to any tenants ! The facilities are top shelf and unlike many apartments they have a very easy layout ; with amenities at every turn. Youre missing out if you havent checked them out !

Been here a little over a week and its been great. Quiet neighborhood, beautiful landscaping, tall ceilings make apartment feel bigger, great storage space in kitchen, large balcony space, appreciate that washer/dryer is included, rooms are spacious as are bathrooms, and overall a clean comfortable place to live. Only wish we had a dog park for some off leash time for my pups and maybe 1 or 2 extra storage closets within the apartment or on the balcony.

From the start, the Dorel staff was very helpful in showcasing the apartment floor plan for my family and I. We really needed a fresh start and Brittany and Jessenia did a great job assisting us with the process. They answered all of our questions and were really personable and approachable. We were able to get a fast move in date, which is what we wanted and they also had a $500 off special going on in May. My family and I really love this place. The rental office events that they host here are a plus also.

After having a HORRIBLE experience at Icon Apartments, we were prepared for all apartments to be that bad. The Dorel has been so pleasant our entire time staying here. Not a single complaint. The noise level is moderate, considering there’s lots of families living here and we were near the pool that people throw parties at sometimes. Only had positive experiences with other residents. The ladies in the office have always been really friendly and they come up with unique ideas for community engagement and there’s almost always something coming up to look forward to. They are always very respectful of your privacy. If they need to do repairs they give at least a 24 hr notice and if you request repairs they call you when they’re about to be there. Nothing has broke in our apartment and when we moved in everything was so perfectly clean not a SPECK of dust anywhere or on anything! I’ve really loved living here and wished every apartment had this great of management.

Me and my family lived here (under a different last name) for about a year and it was the absolute best time. We were really hurt when we had to PCS. I really miss living here and wish I wanted to move back to Killeen. Prices are reasonable and the apartments are well put together. We worked with Taylor from the start and she was the best. Not sure if she is still working there, but if she is, she needs a raise. We wish we can come back. We never had to have maintenance come out for big things, if we did, they were always there. We always had parking, great location. Very good for military families b/c its close to base. Ill never forget this place.

We lived in the furnished townhouse for 8 1/2 months as we were looking to purchase a home and loved the experience. 1) The staff- Michelle and Cody provided superb customer service. Very friendly and approachable! They acted fast on every trouble call and printed out any documents I requested for printing since we didnt have a printer. 2) I love the location. I was able to walk to the chiropractor (hop, skip, and jump away), HEB (.65 miles away), a milk tea place, gourmet ice cream and the gas station convenience store. TX is definitely not a walkable state, so I loved the fact that I didnt have to depend on my vehicle to get everywhere. 3) I love the landscaping and the quiet environment. 4) I love the furnished option of the townhouse. My toddler especially loved the Smart TV, and my husband and I loved the washer and dryer and free electricity and internet from living in the furnished townhome. Awesome job Dorel! We just purchased our new home, but we will love our experiences from living here.

We lived here for 2 years and it’s a beautiful place to live at. The location is great it’s about 10 mins from ft hood base. The pool is very peaceful and great to relax in and the apartments offer many special events for residents and for other holidays. Cody and Michelle are both friendly, welcoming and overall wonderful people . Anytime we had a maintenance issue it was fixed the very same day . Overall we had a great experience here and definitely recommend the Dorel apartments

There is always some sort of area beatification going on here to ensure that the property is maintained to the highest standards.In addition, we have catered food trucks! Does your property do that for YOU? Dont feel like making dinner. No problem! Head down to to the truck and pick up some pizza! And trust me, these pizzas do not disappoint!This property is all about their tenants and they will do their best to ensure that you are happy in your new home. Stop in and see Cody or Michelle! Ive lived here for about 6 months now and I love it. Not only is the staff nice and helpful but the apartments are beautiful and well kept. The gated community also helps keep the area safe. I enjoy my privacy and the staff informs me when maintenance will be conducted. The only issue I see is parking. If one comes home late from work, the good parking spots are taken but overall there is always parking available. Cable and Internet are included as well. The price is a bit expensive but I say its worth it to have a safe, clean community. Hard to find a nice place in Killeen. Plus they are military friendly.

My experience with Dorel Killeen has been so wonderful. During COVID-19, they were very proactive in offering virtual tours for people like me who were looking for an apartment. The application process was easy and communication with the property managers was quick and very helpful. When I moved in, I had a beeping alarm and a wobbly stove and they had someone come to fix it that day. The apartment is beautiful, the complex feels very safe and the overall appearance of Dorel Killeen is excellent. Parking is kind of a free-for-all, but that’s okay. Wood floors, nice big windows, spacious bathrooms, pretty patio, plus a washer and a dryer! Such a good deal. I know it’s kind of specific, but the light in my dining room is super cool. Dorel Killeen rules and I could not be happier with my experience in getting my very first apartment.

I moved from here due to relocating to Georgia. Now I tell you this place is amazing had no issues with bugs no issues with the main office they were kind! Even when your frustrated they just go with the flow and find a resolution on how to fix an issue. Now that I’m in Georgia I found another Greystar property I’m checking out. This apartment is the best choice the cost is well worth it for security and knowing The main office has your back and work with you. Trust me being a single mother of two I managed to stay a year and it was the best decision for me and my kids.

*single resident/militaryThe Dorel is a safe, clean, and quiet apartment complex. While the price tag is a bit higher than others in the area you get what you pay for. As a single resident the one bedroom was more than enough space. I can’t speak for the 2 and 3 bedrooms. The staff was always friendly whenever I interacted with them, the few times I found it necessary to. Parking is plentiful. The amenities are very nice and well taken care of but I never really utilized them. All the utilities in the unit are high quality, clean, and always worked well for me. Washer/dryer in the unit was a huge plus for me.Cable/internet is added into your rent, so that’s really the only thing I would’ve liked to have an option of since I don’t use cable.10 minute drive to Fort Hood

I lived here 3 months. It was a decent place to live but I just had a few negative experiences. My move in day the apt was not ready. They didn’t charge me that day though. Next there is a lady who works there that is a little rude and not helpful. The other two however were very polite and helpful (the receptionist and the main manager. Finally someone stole a package from outside our door. I felt pretty safe there mostly but there are still things to watch out for. Management didn’t seem too concerned when I let them know. Overall it wasn’t too bad.

Loved our apartment, one of the better looking in the areas! We had no issues during the winter storm. Parking does suck during high traffic times when everyone is coming home but there is always parking. We used the gyms a lot and the pools when they were open!

I lived here during 2016 and 2017, and I was very pleased with my stay! This was my #1 pick moving to Fort Hood and I wasnt disappointed.The neighborhood is reliably safe (an important factor to consider in Killeen), and the 1BR had plenty of space. I also specifically appreciated the in-residence laundry machines, the effective central air conditioning (I like to keep the apartment cool; the air conditioner in the apartments could cool the apartment from 72 to 60 in a few minutes and keep it there during hot summers), and the nearby food/interstate access. The front desk was very accommodating and familiar with military conditions; maintenance issues were quickly fixed, and moving in/out was uncomplicated. My only complaint during my stay would be because of the construction that was taking place on Trimmier road, which created a single lane for outgoing traffic when I was there for about a year. Presumably that project is finished now, as is the traffic congestion. Without traffic, its a 10 minute drive to the front gate.

I just moved into the Dorel Killeen Apartments, and I have found the staff very accommodating to my needs.What also surprised me was the quick response of the maintenance team to take care of an issue I had with my unit.I am still working on the issue of rent cost. Does paying this amount qualifies as a better living situation. I will be back to answer that question later, hehehe.

Was going to write a review and saw the other comment and had to post this. Im not sure what the other person was talking about but my experience is just the opposite. this apartment is the best in town and is great to the military. they work to make things easier to move in and they are great with working with orders for soldiers to leave. they have great things to do here and the location works great to go pretty much anywhere in town. i would recommend it to anyone especially the military.

First off the apartment and community are as advertised and beautifully kept up. Then theres Taylor Waters in the office who is not only an absolute doll, but incredibly helpful, kind, and sincerely wanted to do whatever she could to help me to live there. She was able to expidite the carpet cleaning on the unit I was getting to move in faster and even stayed late the day I signed my lease to make sure I got in. (I was in a wreck traveling down from Dallas to sign my lease which set the trip back a few hours and we didnt actually arrive to Killeen until 15 min before the office was to close.) Ive lived in Greystar communities before and this property is no exception to the excellence they strive for.

We are living in Killeen Tx area since 6 yrs ago after we sell our house, we put on our minds to find the best place to live...after check like 5 places around finally we find Dorel apartments and nothing about those bad reviews are true well not for us, first the place is so safe (in our particular experience) neighbors excellent, no problems with anything inside of our apartment means everything works perfect, amazing gym and pools and also lights are on since 6/7 pm every da, you never going to find anything like this in this range of price.About the manager? Mr Cody N. probably is one of the best managers we meet, hes here and there in any doubt u have about anything, short story? Great apartments, really conveniently located within Killeen. The management team does great responding to issues and concerns. Security in the neighborhood is not great. Glad they have a gate.

I just recently moved in and although there’s been some minor inconveniences upon moving in I called about everything and let them know right away and they have been very helpful in fixing everything to better standards and quickly getting it done for us . I have had a good experience so far & They seem kind and easy to communicate with so far which is helpful in moving into a new place and a new state.

I lived at this community for about 2 years. One year in 2015 and another in 2017. I moved out in January and live in Dallas now. Oh how I miss the dorel! The new place I’m at makes me realize how good I had it at the dorel with maintenance and parking. And Taylor you rock.I forgot to write this review when I moved out but I just remembered y’all!

I love The Dorel for me customer service is everything I’m 8 months pregnant and they help my process go so smooth the apartment was what they promised it was clean the customer service from everybody was on point they always kept a smile we’ll be stationed here for 3 years & I’ll be here for the next 3 years thank you 😊
