I’ve lived at a Don Knobler property for a little more than 2 years now. The properties are generally pretty old and have few to no amenities, but Kim & the maintenance team’s responsiveness more than make up for these things. Any time I’ve had an issue — a faulty faucet, a leaky ceiling, a dishwasher that isn’t draining, you name it — they send someone over ASAP to resolve the issue. The team is very nice and easy to work with.Not to mention, for the location and size of my apartment, I find my rent to be reasonable. If you want a break from renting at large and expensive apartment complexes, I recommend looking into this company’s properties.

Location, location, location!You can not find comparable rental rates anywhere in Dallas. For the price, you get large floorplans across from Katy Trail and within walking distance to downtown Dallas and Highland Park. The leasing office is easily accessible and the staff are all very helpful. The condos have new paint, unique design features, and lots of natural light. Covered and gated parking is typically included. Neighbors are quiet and you can feel safe in the neighborhood. I would not want to live in any other area or rent from any other management company! I have lived in one of their condos and in several different communities since 2004. Great living experience in Uptown!

I have lived at one of the properties owned by Don Knobler and Company for a very long time and I am very comfortable. I know that when I call maintenance they will be here and resolve my issue. They have many properties and I feel lucky to have found a great location and nice place to live. The office staff especially Kim Johnson is very helpful.

After over 10 years renting a 6500 sqf building from Don Knobler and company ,i can not express how how happy i am with my space,everything is in great condition and whenever i have a maintenance request Mr.Nhu is always very polite and friendly but specially has all the knowledge and experience to fix anything.Kim is amazing, always very responsive,friendly answering calls ,all my questions and requests, she makes great decisions and is always helpful when times are hard. I can stay another 10 years because they inspire us to also take care of the property. Great company,amazing team in their office.100 % recommend for new tenants.

I just wanted to write few words.On Don knobler property.I have been living in one of the properties since 2017 I have to say love the location and the price is very reasonable.It is an easy access.to any major highway. Few minutes to downtownSo very convenient location..Also Most of all, you got to love the Staff. Everyones are so nice and wonderful.I have to mention that for sometimes I was struggling financially They were so patient with me till I get back on my feet.Thank you Kim and Jamie for such a kindness. I’ve had the opportunity to lease and live in one of the Knobler units the last several years. The staff, quality of the units and maintenance response time has been outstanding. The units are clean, well maintained and in a great location. I would highly recommend leasing and working with the Knobler Team!

I have been renting from them for the last 2 years, and they have been very friendly and easy to work with.Not sure why the reviews are so rough for DK, but every single maintenance request I have submitted in my time here has been resolved in a timely manner.

We had a great experience with Don Knobler apartments. Our apartment was older but it was cozy and a great location for a great price. Not to mention I contacted maintenance about our dishwasher and they came the next day and fixed it. We have nothing but good things to say about this company and always recommend them when people move to Dallas.

Moved into one of their locations about a month ago, and I have had a great experience so far. Prompt contact, I love my apt, and I love the location even more. Sure the building is older but that’s what I expected with the price being as affordable as it is. Jamie was very helpful and took me to see many properties in the area until I decided on one.

So far im loving my rental from Don Kobler. Miss Jamie was awesome during the initial rental agreement process. Great property, a few things that are old and out of date but the unit is huge. Maintenance requests can take a while as well.

I moved into my unit about two weeks ago in Highland Park off of Buena Vista Street. Its obviously an older apartment, but you most certainly can beat the price for this location. My particular unit is in pretty good shape, and offers covered parking at no extra charge. Community washer and dryer at my complex, $1.00 charge for each, quarters. Walking distance to a Trader Joes and all sorts of restraunts and bars (not to mention right across the street from the Katy Trail (HUGE PLUS)).I had a few minor issues with my apartment that I outlined in my Move-In Inspection Form. When I handed it to management, they said they would get it fixed next week, as I turned it in around 4:00 pm on a Friday. 6 days went by and I had not been contacted. I wrote an email to their maintenance crew that night and the next morning recieved a call that they would be by that day. The maintenance technician who came by was great! Very professional and handy. He quickly fixed all the minor problems and went on his way.After a week, I can say that I was treated kindly and love my place. Theres only a couple of reasons for the 4 star and not a 5.Pros:1) Great Location.2) Nice price, considering the neighborhood.3) At my particular unit, I only pay electricity and Internet. They provide all other utilities (water, trash, sewage, gas, etc...)Cons:1) They do not offer pest service. You must pay and order your own. No big deal though, I found a provider who will come out quarterly for a very resonable price.2) It took me contacting them a second time to fix my problems. If I hadnt emailed them, I dont know if they would have fixed the items outlined in my Move-In Inspection Form. However, I am pleased that they came out the very next morning after contacting them!Like I said, its only been two weeks, but so far Im very happy with the move. Ill try to post an update after about 6 months. Thanks for reading!

I have had no problems and haved lived in a Knobler property since 2015. They are responsive to any maintenance issues in a timely manner.....maybe its cuz I pay rent on time and my checks dont bounce...just a guess.😁

This is one of the best apartment management companies I worked with. All of the properties are in a great location just outside of West village and their properties are definitely the best bang for your buck in Uptown Dallas! I have lived here for almost a year and will definitely be resigning my lease!!
