Moved here 1 month back and I am already in love with the apartment, pool area, clubhouse and the game zone. Good news for the folks working from home, they have a pretty cool cowork space as well.It is a nice location with new and spacious apartments.Loved the fact that resident request or feedback is taken seriously and not ignored.Thanks to Jennifer for the detailed apartment tour and Emily to host engaging fun activities. I heard that they have monthly fun events for resident engagement, really excited to be a part of this community.🤗

I enjoyed the tour, Jennifer is wonderful and beautiful. I did decided this was not the best place for me (for safety reasons), and removed one star because someone from management emailed me after I explained my reasoning to my leasing agent and I just thought because I had never spoken with her or asked to be contacted it felt a little pushy. The apartment is nice and if you get a tour with Jennifer you are lucky.Another plus is, you can not get better specials than the ones they offer. If youre an Austin Energy employee it is even better!

Absolutely loved the property and apartments I was showed! Jennifer’s customer service was out of this world ! She was so attentive to my needs! Very detailed oriented at time of sending me over the quotes for application, I would recommend this property & Jennifer to anyone looking to move to this area of town!

I will say, the leasing staff is one of the most joyful teams I’ve ever seen! Jennifer gave us an amazing tour of the property & she was very charismatic and knowledgeable of the complex! Not only was the property very pretty, but the residents were also very welcoming as my spouse & I toured!! Never had that before on our tours here in Austin!!

My partner and I toured this apartment complex and really enjoyed what we saw. The property was clean, spacious, inviting, and secluded. The leasing professionals, Serenity and Jennifer, were some of the best that we have worked with so far. They provided an amazing tour, answered all of our questions, and paid a lot of attention to detail. I would highly recommend this complex. My partner and I didnt end up leasing here because we really needed a unit with a yard, but if that werent a necessity for us, we would have leased here. Whoever does the training and hiring for Citizen House leasing professionals is doing a fantastic job! :)

My husband and I recently moved into Citizen House and we have had an awesome experience so far! Hannah helped us throughout our leasing process and she was very informative and answered all our questions very quickly!We did take 1 star away based on our experience moving in. Our front door was not properly sealed, so we had outside air coming into our unit. Maintenance did come very quickly to fix the issue, which was great! Another reason we took 1 star away is due to the lack of trash cans on the property. This may not sound like a big deal, but when you’re walking your dog and have to walk very far to find a trash can for their waste bags, it could definitely lead to residents just leaving pet waste behind.Overall, we definitely recommend Citizen House for the price, location, and the friendly staff!

I’m changing this to a five star review because I appreciate their proactive steps. Looking forward to getting the other things in the home taken care of*MLK We’ve had mostly a positive experience.Staff is friendly, maintenance comes quick, and it’s a clean environment. The amenities are nice, the events hosted are great, and it’s not too loud.The only issues we’ve had in the two months we’ve been here, seem to be to construction related. Bad caulking jobs in the kitchen and around the tubs, the texture on the walls rub off when touched, not the best laying down of the flooring-gaps, paint on fixtures and in the sink, etc..I will add it does lack accessibility when it comes to shipping packages from our own home. I was told I have to drop them off at the post office which is very hard to do if you lack transportation or are disabled and need a mail carrier to be able to pick up your packages at your home. If that’s not an issue for you, then it’s nothing to be worried about.

Just moved to Austin and Citizen house has been absolutely wonderful! The office staff is super helpful, responsive and has made my move really easy. The maintenance team is friendly and efficient. The amenities are stunning and have perfect work spaces for if you work from home. Everything is new and looks exactly like the pictures. Definitely recommend checking out!

I toured the property while looking for my next apartment home, and Jennifer was amazing. While I did not move forward with the decision to move here, she was friendly, knowledgable and the comfort of knowing she was part of management was a selling factor in itself. The whole complex was beautiful and convenient to the highway. Recommend to anyone that is looking in this area

My boyfriend and I had the best tour with Andrea! She made sure we were fully informed, gave us time to decide, and just did amazing with everything. The whole community is absolutely beautiful. We are so excited to move-in into our 2 bedroom apartment! After touring and having a great experience with Andrea, we had no doubt this was going to be our new home.

I have been living here for 3 months. I have had no issues or problems at all. H‑E‑B is an 8 minute drive, downtown is 12 minutes away. All the appliances work as expected, and the AC cools the apartment readily during the summer. The girls upfront are super helpful. I couldn’t be happier.

This place effortlessly combines upscale design with a touch of nature, creating an inviting living experience. The meticulously maintained grounds is impeccable, and the subtle fragrance of lavender and wheat adds a unique charm to the atmosphere, with their woodsy tones and a blend of organic and contemporary design, offer a refreshing vibe. The property has plenty of natural light, making it feel like a home away from home. Communal spaces like the event and working areas strike the perfect balance between social and productive environments.While the out-door hallways leading up to the units could use the occasional sweep, the overall cleanliness and thoughtful interior design make CHM a delightful spot to have a coffee, do a little day drinking (shh) and ultimately, call home.The mail room powered by the LUX system, had a slight learning curve, but kudos to the property staff for swiftly ironing out any issues.Amenities:CHMs amenities are nothing short of impressive, as one would come to expect form this little oasis. The well-maintained gym, though lacking in some machine variety (leg-press machine), outshines other options on the east side of Austin. The ample lounge spaces and pool area contribute to a comfortable and homey vibe, which is a consistently clean environment.Staff:The staff at CHM are not just helpful but genuinely nice. As a first-time apartment renter to a major corp, the onboarding process was surprisingly smooth. Maintenance requests, whether significant or minor, are promptly addressed, showcasing the teams efficiency and dedication to resident satisfaction.The Unit (Zilker):Opting for the Zilker unit, I found the space to be impressively roomy and accommodating. The unique allowance to paint accent walls adds a personalized touch—a delicate nod to making the space truly feel like home. Despite my initial disappointment at the lack of deck space (a result of unclear unit information on the map), the units construction ensures a level of soundproofing that surpasses expectations. Living beneath a lively trio, Im pleasantly surprised by the minimal noise intrusion, showcasing the thoughtful design and construction of the property.Overall:In summary, CHM is a well-kept secret that Im compelled to share. Its not just a place to live but a community that offers exceptional value. The staffs dedication is evident in their prompt resolution of issues and the organization of regular free events. If circumstances permit, I envision this as my home for the next decade—a testament to the propertys true worth in its pricing. A++ for an extraordinary living experience.
