I recently had the pleasure of visiting Cheatham Street Flats, and I couldnt be more impressed with the team there. The leasing manager, Addie, was incredibly knowledgeable and answered all my questions with ease. She made the entire process smooth and stress-free.The community manager, Ray, was extremely accommodating and went out of his way to ensure all my needs were met. His dedication to the residents is truly commendable.Additionally, the leasing agents, Kelsey, Xavier and Presley, were so welcoming and friendly. They made me feel right at home from the moment I walked in.Overall, the staff at Cheatham Street Flats is top-notch, and I highly recommend this community to anyone looking for a great place to live!

I definitely recommend this apartment to all, great gated community very nice coffee bar and viewing deck very well maintained compared to 2 other apartments I’ve lived @ over 6 years I’ve been here for a year and I’ve been extremely impressed with this experience such great management extremely professional and organized.

Everything is great except for the unit size. The kitchen space and overall space is quite small for the price. Otherwise the management is great, they address all issues quickly. They organise fun games and events for residents time and again. Also, No need to worry about utilities charges and room is well. The only con is free parking space barely available and in building space charges extra.

My brother lives here and it’s great and convenient,has best staff and management that goes above and beyond.units are extremely nice and well cared for this includes the rest of complex I highly recommend this to everyone in the area looking for the BEST!!!

Daughter just moved in. After she killed the roaches and cleaned out her own AC filter that was so black it stunk... Her efficiency looks great! Shes on the wait-list for $100 garage parking per month, so until then she has to park out in the street and walk quite far and fast in the dark by woods and homeless people. Were beside ourselves. Yes, shes in a gated community, but she had to carry mace until she gets in. I never knew this place existed until now. I want my daughter to be happy and safe. This has been the best place so far in San Marcos!

I lived here 2 years while going to Txstate overall Id say it was a great college apartment. Generally quiet, offered regular resident gifts, Mr. Juan is efficient with maintenance, and the 3 bedroom that i stayed in has a great bedroom layout. No bugs as long as youre a generally clean person which my roommates and I are. Flat rent rate with all utilities includedI will say I had a few complaints though. The elevators frequently have something wrong and sometimes smell like dog pee, but thats residents, there are regular false alarm fire alarms it got to a point where when the alarm went off Id look out my window for any real danger and if it looked calm I wouldnt even leave my apartment.But other than that I loved my apartment and would definitely recommend

I had a good time living here. There are many good things about this complex including utilities included, maintenance requests usually get done pretty quick and nice staff.A couple things to keep in mind: gates usually go out every now and again as well as the elevators. The fire alarms go off way too often unfortunately so be prepared. If you live facing the common area, it can get loud if people are down there at night. If you dont pay for parking, good luck.Overall its a small well kept community. I wish there was more resident activities especially on the weekends.

Cheatham Street Apartments overall is a great place to live. You get the security to not have to remember to lock there door behind you because all doors are accessible with your fob. That means the elevators, main area, gym, and your front door are safe from non residents just walking in. The staff is also very friendly and helpful. If you ever need help the community manager Mary is very professional and can help you with any questions you may have. The gym and main areas are always kept clean by the staff so there is never really a mess left around the apartment complex. Also when you move in the apartment is thoroughly cleaned so you dont have to worry about vacuuming or sweeping during move in. The location of the apartment complex is also very conveniently placed. It is located less than a mile away from Texas State University and about a half mile away from the town square. The town square is full of local restaurants and bars for anyones taste. Again, overall good living conditions, security, location, and friendly staff. I would definitely come back if I move back to San Marcos

This was the best apartment I have lived in in San Marcos! The staff was always super helpful and friendly and made it feel like home. If I ever had an issue with my unit, maintenance always came quickly. On games days, it was super nice to be able to go out on the viewing deck and watch on the big tv! This apartment is all around just a great place to call home!

Cheatham has been a great place to live! I have loved my time here as well as the staff in the front office. Mary has always been so understanding and willing to discuss any questions or concerns I have. She is involved in all of the events as well as she even gets me my packages. Mr. Juan the maintenance man is always in my apartment at the drop of a hat. Sydney in the front office is so nice and is always ready to chat with me.

Absolutely beautiful place to live and very safe as well! I strongly admire how serious they take the security here as other apartments around the area don’t even compare to the standards that this place has. I was blown away by how welcoming and inviting the staff were, especially Ms. Emilee! She gave my family and I a very detailed and informative tour and was more than happy to answer all the questions we had. Definitely recommend touring this place, very impressive!

I feel like I hit the jackpot with Cheatham Street Flats! The facilities are very nice and they always have fun events for residents. After looking at apartments all over, I definitely found the best price here. It’s super close to campus so I just walk to class. The staff are great! We love Mary, Ciera, and Sydney, they’re always so helpful! They always try to get any problems fixed super quickly and really look out for our well being as residents. They do all they can and create a really nice environment.

In comparison to a lot of other student apartment options that are available in the area, Cheatham by far offers the most. They really do mean it when they say theyre all-inclusive!Mary was very informative and helpful in giving us a tour around the building. A friend and I are moving in duri6 August for Fall 2021, and we were surprised to find that the road noise was significantly muffled. The building seemed clean and they were even repainting when we were there, so its nice to see they keep everything well maintained (unlike some other places...)Overall its been a great experience in signing with them. The staff is very friendly and informative. Will have to update after living here for a few months

Management is so friendly and helpful!!! I have never had any major problems, but I have had questions about minor things and they are always there to help and in a timely manner! I love how accepting they are with animals. I have a puppy that is a breed that most complexes do not allow and the property manager and maintenance guys show him so much love, always! I am going on my second year of living here and the community has a very chill vibe. They are continuously doing things to upgrade the complex. I was nervous about having problems with noise living in an apartment while studying for school, but all the residents are very respectful and the doors are thick and keep out any noise. It is walking distance to the square so there is many fun opportunities and even work opportunities near! Overall, it’s been a good experience for me!

This is the best apartment complex in San Marcos by far! After having issues with another complex here, I sublet in December of 2020 and moved to Cheatham in January of 2021, and my experience here for the past year has been nothing but exceptional. The staff is incredibly friendly and knows us all by name. The maintenance is super quick, like 30 minutes quick, and theyre incredibly helpful as they walk you through their processes. The rent is so affordably especially since all utilities are included. I will never not recommend Cheatham Street flats! As a senior in college and someone who does Uber on the side, Ive seen a lot and heard a lot from other complexes, and this one is second to none! To the staff at Cheatham Street Flats, keep doing what yall are doing, yall are the best!

If I had stayed in San Marcos, this is the place I would want to live!

I have lived here half a year and I really like it. The admin is helpful and nice. Maintenance is decently fast. The only things I would change would be getting a txst bus to campus and the elevators being more reliable. Since the beginning, the staff here at Cheatham have been top notch especially Alexia. She is very attentive and understanding. She makes sure all of my questions are answered and updates me on any new information concerning the complex as construction is still going on. I feel safe knowing I am in good hands when it comes to my new home. I tell everyone I know about this complex and this amazing staff. The staff overall seems to really know what they are doing and offer great deals and are #1 when it comes to promotion and resident satisfaction. During my stay at cheatham I had minimal maintaince issues during the year that were taking care of very promptly. I will be forever grateful for cheatham helping me find a place to live with such short notice! My experience living here has been pretty good.However, the parking situation has become quite a nuisance. Prior to signing the lease I was led to believe that there would be an assigned lot for cheatham st residents but i’ve been told this fell through. Not knowing where i’ll park my car every time i pull out of a space has been a persistent worry, especially when I come back late at night and have to park on a nearby street and walk back to the building. If you manage to get a reserved parking spot in the garage then cheatham st is a great place to live. As someone who loves to cook, the kitchen is incredibly small for 3 people. There is no pantry, few cupboards, a tiny square sink and almost no counter space. Overall, the parking situation and kitchen size lost a star for me, but the modern feel of the building is definitely a plus.

Cheatham Street Flats is such an exclusive modern property, utilizing Z Modular construction. I was super excited when my daughter wanted to move in. It’s in a great location within walking distance to attractions, yet it’s still secure and safe with gated resident parking, secure elevators, and interior unit entry.
