    So far an Amazing place to live! Great location for downtown Houston, and can easily get almost anywhere. Very friendly staff as well! Austin from the leasing office was more than happy to show me multiple units when I toured, even willing to go back to one to make sure I got the right fit. Ashley as well was happy to help me with some tech support issues that were crucial for me getting settled in this new city. 10/10 the right decision for me!

    I’ve lived here for a little over 2years. I have nothing but love to share with this leasing office team. Daniel, Ashley and Austin are amazing employees. I’ve had some misfortunes that come along with apartment living but the team has always made the unpleasant not so bad. They are helpful I all ways and very good listeners. I have all good things to say about my Midtown crew.

    Moved out of the area 4 years ago due to a terrible experience with a different apartment so was reluctant to try apartment living again. Looked at 6 different places and Austin by far won me over with his great attitude, openness to answer any question and very transparent way of doing business. Price was in my range and about the same as the other places I looked at and the units/communities werent as nice. They made paperwork and finalizing everything a breeze really happy I went with Camden restored my faith in apartment complexs. Even maintenance was helpful on my move in day showing me the best way to get my things in complex. Literally cant think of 1 negative thing to say which is rare in customer service these days.

    Austin and Steph were so helpful. Austin answered all of my questions and really helped me feel at ease. Camden as of now is my first choice, I will provide an update if I move in.UPDATE!!!!It has been approximately 1 month since moving in and I’m very happy about my decision! The office was super accommodating with my move and definitely went the extra mile for me as I was moving in from out of state. The apartment looked almost brand new, new paint, seemingly new carpet, etc. I feel very safe here.There are a lot of homeless in the general midtown area and so one needs to be careful when opening the garage and such that they don’t sneak in, but other than that I would say it’s a non issue. Make sure you lock your car and don’t leave anything valuable inside, and you will be fine, which is what they tell you when moving in.I’ve seen a few bugs but that’s expected with the weather change. I immediately requested pest control and they came in and took care of my apartment. Maintenance is great and very timely, the front office is great as well, it can be sometimes hard to reach them via a call but they allow texting and they have a 24/7 emergency line as well!I will continue to provide updates as necessary.

    Leasing team: Chandler and his team are very professional, responsive and caring; best customer service! And yes I did checked several places and none can compare. I never had a chance to visit before moving in and they made sure I am well informed about the apartment, neighborhood and public transportation. The leasing team uses the best technology on all transactions, yes including Google Earth. They responded to my emails almost in an instant I sent it. Phone calls were all answered promptly. All information were provided from step 1 to the end including utilities.Maintenance and Service team: Lazaro and Angel are the most caring, professional and hardworking maintenance team I ever met. Yes there were minor issues in my first week, and they fixed it on time. You better be ready when you call or email to report any issues, they are faster than 911! and I am not even kidding.Location: Grocery store just as you step out. Very diverse restaurant choices. However, just like any part of downtown (this is midtown of course) there will be homeless but they will not bother you.

    My husband and I moved here two years ago, and we have really enjoyed our experience!! S/O to our leasing agent Austin! Anytime we had any questions/concerns he was so quick to figure out a solution! He was always so friendly and ready to help out! If you’re thinking about moving in to this community ask for Austin.Also the maintenance team has been amazing!! Anytime anything needed to be fixed they were super quick to get the work done. If the problem wasn’t fixed immediately they would work on it until the job was completed correctly! We ended up moving states recently, but if we ever found ourselves back in Houston we would definitely sign another lease here at Camden!! Thank you Austin and team!

    I have lived at Camden Midtown for over 2 years and I love it! The Staff is super responsive and always happy to help. Ashley Till has been very helpful and really cares about her residents. The maintenance crew is also amazing and gets service requests taken care of within 24 hours.

    Its been a week and I love it. A+ value, A+ Location, A+ amenities, A+ parking facilities, Awesome Austin and Fantastic Ashley. Everything was smooth. Austin called me Sunday, I check out the apartment, apply, and other stuff the same day. I get my keys on the move in date. Activities and parks in and around the building. I put my office in the living room. Balcony is my go-to.

    I am very satisfied with the service and communication that the front desk receptionist Ashley Hill provided me with. She was very professional and knowledgeable in what Camden apartments had to offer. The residents here are quiet and the apartments are clean. Location wise Is great for anyone working inside the inner loop or downtown. Ashley did a phenomenal job with also accommodating me. I had unit that was too small for my living space and she made it easy for me to get a unit that had much more room. overall I am happy with everything.

    Ive lived in this apartment for a year and recently signed a one-year extension with a larger option. There were a few hiccups during the lease, but it worked out well. As with all apartments, there are pros and cons. First of all, this is not a luxury apartment, so dont expect super nice amenities or clean hallways. However, the leasing office and maintenance team are very friendly and proactive in solving problems. They recently added Amazon lockers so I dont have to worry about my packages being stolen, and the apartments are generally well maintained. Most importantly, there are restaurants and grocery stores nearby and the size of the room options are great for the price. Overall, I think this is a 5 star choice.

    Stayed here for about a year. Great staff and responsive maintenance crew. Service requests are handled within 24 hours. Ashley is amazing and was always happy to help out with any questions I had. The move out process was quick and painless. In my opinion, the location of this complex is one of the few places in Houston thats walkable. Great food and night life in the area as well. Would definitely reccomend camden midtown if youre on the apartment hunt!

    I truly enjoyed my stay here at Camden Midtown for the past Two years. Super grateful for the Staff, they all are amazing… However, I had the opportunity to work with Ashley Till from my tour, where she ensured my a very easy pre leasing process, which helped me transition smoothly for my move-in, and then resolved every problem or request I had while a resident. Even helped me transfer to a another property in my new city. She is such an amazing person, with a huge heart for her residents. Camden is lucky to have her ! Thank you Ashley for a wonderful living experience.

    First I would like to say that Austin is great!! Due to unforeseen circumstances I arrived late for my move-in date, just a couple minutes before the Leasing Center closes. And Austin was still kind enough to proceed with finalizing my lease on time so I wouldn’t be charged a fee. He was so helpful and open to questions during the whole process!! also made sure I was squared away in a timely manner. Secondly, I would like to touch on Misty’s customer service support over the phone she’s very helpful and nice!

    We have lived here for years, and the location and property are great, but the staff take it to a whole new level! Korey and Lauren in the leasing office are always there for you. Chauncey and the rest of the maintenance team do a great job. Finally, officer Brown is there to keep us all safe. I love living at Camden Midtown because of all these fine people!

    Nice apartments, great staff, good amenities, and a fast turnaround time on maintenance requests. I first signed with Camden because the apartments were affordable and spacious, but after living here some time, I can say definitively the to price to quality ratio is very high here across the board. I Would recommend this place to anybody looking to rent in the midtown area. Marcus, Ashley, and the rest of the Camden staff, both front office and facilities management, are some of the best people Ive worked with in Houston, and the units themselves are great!

    Camden Midtown has been such a great experience! From the beginning, Ashley has been extremely helpful with addressing our concerns and always goes above and beyond to accommodate to our needs. Coming from the suburbs, I expected the Midtown area to be a completely different setting and it has not proved me wrong. With that being said - this Camden property has made me feel safe and comfortable. The maintenance staff has done a wonderful job of being prompt and efficient with responding to our requests. If you are thinking about signing a lease with Camden Midtown, I would highly recommend it and to talk with Ashley.

    We’ve always wanted to live in and experience a big city. We are so happy with Camden Midtown!!! We’ve had very quick response with the few minor tweaks that come with a new apartment. Our dog is super welcomed here with the dog park/bar across the street, and everything we need is a short walk away! We commute for work but find ourselves primarily staying right here in this community when we’re off and playing. The pool, the parking, the maintenance and staff teams, and our (so far) quiet neighbors make this place an incredible deal!!! We are so happy!!!

    What a great property. I visit with the office quite a bit and I love the staff. The staff is my biggest draw to Camden midtown. All of the agents are very personable and welcoming. Leading the team is Elizabeth and Monique. They are great ladies. Erik, Scarlett, and Kayla are the leasing staff there. They are always on the ball and making sure that the residents are happy and taken care of. With a smile on their faces. If you are looking for a property in midtown. Dont forget to stop here. They have a beautiful property with great floor plans. With a top notch staff to top it off.

    Place is amazing. Location couldnt be any better. You have a ton of restaurants and bars in a 10 minute radius of the apartment. It is very walkable area. I did not give it a 5 as the homeless people keep it from being a 5. The constant package stealing is a nuisance and Camden continues to drag their feet on bringing in the Amazon lockers to reduce this problem. But overall I have very few complaints. Maintenance team is amazing!

    Professional & Compassionate!My wife and I lived here for 5 years while she went to school and the experience was nothing short of fantastic. At every turn the staff has been friendly, helpful, and the location itself is in the heart of the midtown/downtown Houston area. This means that shopping for groceries and dining is within walking distance or at most a quick 3-minute drive.The build quality of the apartment units is excellent, and the work-order staff is punctual, thorough, and quick to respond to any concern we had.Both pools are great, and both gyms are clean and well maintained. There is a cardio gym and a weights gym. There are plenty of machines (including a punching bag in the weights gym), so just about every bread & butter exercise is possible depending on your routine.Weve met a few employees throughout the years, but the 2 standouts we’ve interacted most with are Marcus and Ashley. Theyve always gone above and beyond to make our stay here a joy and Camden is better for having them on board.When the Covid pandemic hit in full swing, the company (Camden) created a program to help renters who were impacted financially by the lockdowns. To my knowledge, they are the only apartment company that had such a program and thats an incredibly compassionate thing to do.Overall, we really enjoyed our stay here. Should I ever need to rent again, any local Camden apartment will immediately be a top choice.

    Camden Midtown is THE place! My move in experience was unlike any other. So simple, seamless and easy! Ashley T. in the office is so kind and patience and took the time to answer all my questions.At move in, picking up my keys was a breeze, my unit was clean and beautiful. There was an issue with my microwave not working and the maintenance team was quick and had it resolved almost immediately.The month I have been at Camden Midtown has been excellent and it’s finally starting to feel like home. Looking forward to the next year!

    Ive been in Camden Midtown for almost a month now and I think that it is a great place to live in. The management team is very responsive and knowledgeable especially AJ. AJ has worked closely with me from the first step and along the way. He has been there for any of my questions with a positive attitude and on-point guidance and help. I think he is dedicated, professional, welcoming, and very polite. The whole team has been great. Maintenance is always available and helps out fast like within 1 to 3 hours from when you send in a request. I like the proximity of Camden from Randalls, cafes, and restaurants. If you dont want to use a car all the team the location is very close to the metro. I have to also stress that at least from experience I cant hear any noise from any of my neighbors. I love the layout of my spacious 1-bedroom apartment. I really dont have any complaints and am glad Ive made this decision.

    I moved to Houston and was looking for a place that was located near the medical center. Camden is at a great location and has awesome amenities such as a gym and dog park. I love that fact that they are pet-friendly. The staff have been extremely friendly and informative. I especially wanted to thank Marcus for all his help. He made the process effortless and put my mind at ease. Overall, I have enjoyed living at Camden and recommend that you speak to Marcus if you’re looking for a place!

    I currently live at Camden Midtown and have found it to be great so far. The staff is very helpful and attentive--plus, they remember who you are which I think is important when it comes to your home. The one downside to this location is that it was a little hard to move into the third floor. There are no elevators on the property. But otherwise, Ive found other tenants to be very nice and friendly. The facilities are great, and my apartment has had no problems. Its a great place to live and close to everything in Midtown.

    Weve been at Camden Midtown for 5 months now and are really happy here. The apartments are nice and comfortable, the pool and gym are great, and the location is perfect for us. Close to the Metro train, many bus services, a supermarket, a nice park (both for kids and dogs) and many more.The office staff are all really friendly and helpful - they communicate really well. The maintenance staff are awesome, they have quickly dealt with and fixed every issue Ive had so far, including replacing someone elses noisy air conditioner that I could hear from my bedroom throughout the night!Living in Midtown presents some safety issues sometimes but the staff here handle any issues that come up quickly and they communicate really well.

    My wife and I were moving from California for a new job opportunity in Houston and had a very small window in which to make the move. Thanks to the help of David and his team, Im glad to say everything worked out great. We love our new apartment which is a 5 minute walk to the McGowen station platform and right in the middle of great food locations and entertainment in Midtown. The Camden professionals really made our transition feel seamless and helped out with anything we asked. I would highly recommend anyone who is looking for a safe, comfortable, and friendly residence to move to Camden in Midtown. Thanks again David for your friendliness and making our move so easy.

    I really enjoyed living at Camden. They are very responsive to any issues. Minor issues in an apartment will always arise, like appliances or something breaking and any issues were taken care of same day. The grounds are also very nice and the free onsite parking is always a huge plus in the middle of a city. The apartments are huge for being in the city center and big closets are a must for most girls. I would definitely live here again if I ever come back to Houston.

    I have been living at Camden Midtown for 7 months now, and I have nothing but great things to say about it! The management and maintenance staff are all really nice and quick to respond to any questions or concerns I have had. When putting in maintenance requests I have never waited more then 48 hours to have something fixed.The neighborhood is really nice with plenty of restaurants and bars within walking distance. My apartment is usually pretty quiet, but since I am a street facing apartment it can sometimes get loud on the weekends but its not terrible. The grounds of the apartment are very well kept and having a pool, grills, and guest parking is a really nice perk.

    We have been at Camden for a week now after moving from Arizona and we absolutely love it! Our apartment is perfect, very up to date and fabulous living conditions. The scenery is beautiful and the location is PERFECT! We seriously couldnt have asked for a better apartment during our stay here in Houston.Since we were moving from Arizona, we were slightly worried that the process would be difficult but it was beyond easy! Suzanne, the Assistant Manager, was so helpful and sent us all of the forms before hand so when we arrived we only had a few short documents to sign in person and then we got our keys and moved right in. The staff here made it so easy, so if youre thinking about moving from out of town- this is your place!!!Upon arrival at our unit, we had a sweet welcome gift with some household necessities and even a couple toys for my cat which was so thoughtful! We love it here at Camden already and are so happy to be apart of this community.

    I had the best experience at Camden Midtown. Ellison was so friendly and helpful. I’ve looked at many apartments near the UH area and at Camden midtown I felt so safe with it having a parking garage and tall gates to feel extra secure. I love the quality of the apartments and the big kitchens. I was very impressed and I can’t wait to move in!

    I recently toured Camden Midtown. Upon entering the office I was immediately greeted by the friendly office staff. I opted to do a self guided tour but once I returned back they were able to answer all my questions. The community itself is beautiful and well kept. Unfortunately, I didnt end up leasing because the floor plan I wanted wasnt available yet but I highly recommend Camden Midtown!

    I’ve really enjoyed living at Camden Midtown for 3 years. The staff and maintenance team have always been great. Especially David Alvarado! He is super friendly and has gone above and beyond on multiple occasions for my family. The actual apartment (inside/outside) is also great. Only thing I dislike inside the apartment is the washer. Lastly, a major improvement for the community would be the security.

    Camden Midtown has been a wonderful experience with the staff and property management. This place is as good as it can probably get in midtown i.e. homeless population, theft, noisy, and everything that comes with living in midtown (being realistic here). However that being said when it comes to property management and staff – Ashley has been beyond helpful in addressing any needs or concerns that we’ve had. Maintenance is on point every time that we need them and takes care of everything on a timely manner. Camden as a whole is very accommodating when it comes to our living situation - I have been very comfortable living here. The prices are a bit high for the living space but that’s just what you get for the location. Overall, if you consider living here I would highly recommend it. Talk to Ashley :)

    Camden Midtown has it all: incredibly convenient location, modern and well-maintained amenities, and responsive and caring staff. After living here for a year, I cannot recommend this apartment complex enough. My experience from living in many apartments in Houston is that no matter how cool the gym, pool, or area is, if the apartment staff is not responsive and empathetic to your resident needs, your life will be difficult. This is not at all the case at Camden Midtown. The staff (Brenda, Marcus, Orlando, Ariel) in particular are extremely passionate about what it means to be a Camden resident. Whether its a happy hour or pool movie night event, or responding to a payment question, they are with you all throughout the way. I am truly appreciative to have been a resident of Camden Midtown and wish the staff all the best. The Camden Midtown staff embodies what it means to put the resident in the central focus of all decisions.

    Im making the move to Houston for a fellowship at MD Anderson and I have visited over 10 (!!!!) apartment complexes while I was in town trying to find the right fit for me. Not all of my experiences with leasing consultants have been positive, but my meeting with Marcus at Camden Midtown was great! He was eager to show me around, answer my questions honestly, and make sure I was prepared to make an informed decision about which apartment to lease. I havent decided which apartment to lease yet (still too early) but Marcus definitely helped put Camden Midtown on my short list!The only thing I can say right now that I wish was different about the complex is that it had more grassy areas in the landscaping...but that kind of just comes with looking at places in Midtown!

    Ive lived at Camden Midtown for the past 2.5 years and have nothing but positive things to say about the property and management. All issues, which have been rare, have been solved promptly. When comparing my floor plan to others in the area, its also definitely the best value. Overall, I cant see myself moving to a non-Camden apartment. Its been a pleasant and refreshing experience.

    I know I have already written reviews about this place, but I can’t say it enough, the level of service and care here is second to none. Maintenance requests are usually completed with in 24 hours, if they don’t have to order a part (literally one of mine was done 2 hours after putting it in). They are always doing upkeep, repainting adding more gates for safety, etc. Although midtown might not be the safest, Ive never had a bad experience once I was inside the complex! Today I put in my termination notice since I am buying a house. The office team was so sweet and helped me through everything I needed to do and left no question unanswered. For them to offer the same level of service even as I am leaving is huge. I am so Impressed. I highly recommend this complex if you are moving to midtown.

    The people at the leasing office are great! Overall I have had no problems living here. I will say that the day after moving in my AC went out, but it was fixed within a few hours. Additionally, they require a technology package through Xfinity which has consistent problems— however the leasing office is working to get that fixed. As a female living alone, I have never get unsafe in my apartment especially with the gated entry and tall perimeter gates.

    This is the best apartment complex in Houston! The staff is so friendly and willing to help at all times. The apartments are nice and have plenty of amenities. Definitely check out the pool over the weekend, its always a fun time! When I first moved to Houston, I picked this place and Im so glad I picked it because I met so many great people. I highly recommend Camden Midtown if you are new to the area or even if you want to live in Midtown - its so convenient to bars, restaurants, etc. and the staff is great.

    I’ve loved living at this Camden location as it’s right in the middle of everything. The staff itself is what has really stood out to me the most. They have been very helpful since day one and continue to be hands on while I’m a resident — which is very hard to find nowadays. Marcus and Alex in the leasing office are excellent and extremely responsive. I wish every place I’ve lived in could have a staff like theirs.

    Camden Midtown has been an amazing experience thus far! It is in walking distance to a lot of restaurants, bars, and the only grocery store in Midtown. The staff is amazing and always willing to go above and beyond for us! The pools are a great time on the weekend and relaxing on the weekdays. If you are new to Houston or looking for a quick commute to downtown I would highly recommend this place!

As a young professional, I wanted to live where all the action was - bars, restaurants, concerts, sporting events, and other activities found in urban living. As soon as I researched Camden Midtown and talked to a leasing agent, I knew I had found the right place.The leasing office is nice, responsive, and is willing to go above and beyond what they are supposed to do. I feel welcome here, I feel at home here. When someone asks me where I live I can confidently say I live at Camden Midtown!

    First of all I wanna say I love the location, the grounds are well maintained, love the amenities and the fact that I was told by residents I can always find a safe parking. I mean, you have to ask around before making a place your new home.Seriously the best location. The office staff is friendly and that itself it’s so Great!We had our tour and I want to say Marcus was a DELIGHT! I’m sorry if I am misspelling your name. We absolutely love how he made us feel so comfortable! We had other appointments to tend to and he understood and still gave us the best customer service and by no means pressured us into anything!! Hopefully we will make this home soon. Marcus you are GREAT! Thank you for answering all our questions with such clarity and knowledge, we were a little difficult and asked a lot, and out of all the places we visit, definitely this was the best.I loved my experience here and highly recommend living here.

    Ive been living at Camden Midtown a few months now so I feel I can give an accurate review of the property.Pros:- Nice complex and pool- Quick maintenance- Friendly office staff- Walkable to many bars and restaurants in the midtown areaCons:- The immediate area outside the complex can be pretty sketchy. Theres a large homeless population and I dont always feel safe walking alone- The advertised rate on their website doesnt include a lot of additional fees including valet trash and a $120 a month mandatory internet and TV package. I dont watch TV and I could get just internet for way cheaper so it seems like a waste to me.- The bar next door Barkleys can get SO LOUD. I get that its not completely Camdens fault but when they have a live band I can hear it clearly inside my apartment and it shakes my walls. Sometimes its loud on weeknights so thats something to keep in mind if you have to get up early for work. If the apartments were better insulated it might not be as much of an issue. Ive edited my review to 4 stars because it seems to be a problem less often now, but it may pick up again when it gets warmer.- On the insulation note, the apartments are kinda old and you can tell they arent the best construction. I can feel my the cool air coming out of my front door when I approach it and the AC runs almost constantlyOverall Im happy with my experience here and I would re-sign my lease as long as the price doesnt increase too much.

    Great location, right in the middle of bars, near the metrorail and Randalls, all within walking distance. The office staff at Camden Midtown is awesome & my favorite is Liz, the community manager -- you can tell she really cares about her residents and the property. The maintenance team is great too, especially Edgar & Marco, they responded to my service requests super fast.

    Ive lived at the Camden Midtown for 2.5 years and really dont have enough positive things to say. The ground and amenities are very well maintained. I have a pool view and see maintenance out there every single morning making sure the chairs are put back, pool deck is cleaned, etc. The office staff is truly the best. Last month I came home to find them passing out candy and sodas to residents as they arrived home from work and just last week I got an email asking if I would like a new coat of paint or my valet trash bin cleaned as a thank you for being a resident. They always have really fun member events that are well attended and anytime I need a maintenance request from something more urgent to changing a light bulb, it is always done the same day. I think that since the building is older (although very well maintained and renovated), the soundproofing is better than the new communities as I NEVER hear my neighbors. For being in a very busy and happening area of town, the community is surprisingly quiet. Definitely recommend this as your next place to call home!

Loved the location, directly across the street from the Midtown bar scene, two blocks from Metro rail, and a hop skip and a jump to nearly anywhere else.The walls are thin and the buildings arent all that great, but its great for Millennials who are into the Midtown scene regardless.Not very quiet. Gym is nice but pretty small (can get packed during peak hours, like most places), and the pool area is great.Staff is (usually) very friendly and efficient and.5 stars go to the maintenance guys though, they are always around, will get to know you if you are too, and are quick, efficient, and super nice about fixing all the bad parts that come with cheap apartments.From a long time renter, it deserves 4 stars for trying.

    Ive lived here for about 2.5 months and everything has been great! Staff and neighbors are really nice. Chandler and Monique have been extremely helpful. Centrally located/walking distance to everything! I literally only drive to work and walk everywhere else because its so close. Even with all of the bars and restaurants around, its a pretty quiet complex no loud parties or anything. Any suggestions on improvement is basically just more lighting and security at night time around the complex considering homeless people sometimes sneak inside and there have been theft incidents with some people within the complex. I looked at other centrally located apartments before moving but felt like Camden Midtown was the best choice!

    The internet is sub par and expensive but the location is good, the office staff is friendly, professional and seems to be very happy with there jobs, the maintenance staff is extremely responsive to repairs (I have never had an issue take more than a day and they even drove in at night to fix a leaking ac unit), everything is well maintained and the gym even gives you free bottled water.P.S. if you sensitive to music be careful which apartment you pick. Some of the bars are a little noisy.

    Im an expat in Houston for an assignment, I didn’t know anyone in the city and Camden Midtown made a perfect home!The management always been courteous and helpful, but it wasn’t till I fell really ill and had to be hospitalized, did I fully realize how exceptional they were. I was stranded in hospital, with no friends or family around me to help, but the folks at the Camden Midtown office were gracious enough to pick me up from the hospital, drop me back and ensure I had everything I needed to recover.     Ive been living here for about five months and I really enjoy it. The resident events are great. So many residents have dogs that I decided to get one as well. I really like the location of the complex. Its walkable to almost every fun bar in midtown and only a short drive or bike ride to Memorial Park, Herman Park, and Buffalo Bayou Park. The gym is fully equipped and the work out classes for residents are great.

    Been living here for the last 2 years and have had an overall great experience. Right across the street from Randalls supermarket and walking distance to Midtowns Woodrows, Specs, Chipotle, Glorias and foodtrucks. To get to Downtown, the McGowen rail station is near as well.Pool and gym facilities are nice. Apts with views into the pool area are solid good. Ivan and his maintenance team are always sharp and on-time with requests. Ive never had an issue in the parking garage, but I also never leave valuables in my car either. A little more security (like an on-duty-officer patrolling the weekends and weeknights) and the ability to ship amazon packages straight to the main office, would make Camden Midtown the most perfect place to stay in Houston, period.

    I´ve lived in here for over a year now and my experience has been positive. The staff is always helpful and keeping all residents satisfied, anytime I needed anything they made it happen.     *Note that this is a review of a town house + garage unit. There are many different floor plans here*Love living in a town house at Camden Midtown. Perfect for yuppie lifestyle. Kitchen appliances, floor, high ceilings give this a very modern look. Two-car garage + driveway space + guest parking means having guest over is easy. Office staff is very responsive and quick to help with issues. Rent/utilities are done electronically/easily. An online community portal dispenses information quickly. Pet friendly. Security alarms are installed. Food trucks are set-up outside the welcome center several times a month.Most importantly, LOCATION! On the town house side, Irish Cowboy (bar) is located right across the street, Randalls (grocery) is right across the street, B-Cycle rent-a-bikes are right across the street, the McGowen MetroRail stop is a few minutes walk away, 20+ bars/restaurants are within a few minutes walking distance. 15 minute walk to Downtown, 15 minute walk to Montrose barsThose noise sensitive, beware! If your apartment is near a bar, you will hear the music and crowds Thursday-Sunday, as well as the drunk individuals walking to/from those bars passing by outside. My solution - just join the scene! Midtown is a happening area in Houston, new bars/restaurants are constantly popping up, and Camden Midtown is in the heart of it all.Some downsides, but in no way dealbreakers - basically locked into using Phonoscope as Cable/Internet provider. The townhouse kitchen layout is small and closed-in (no kitchen island/open bar here, and does not have a pantry!). And for those security conscious, there is a lot of foot traffic outside (both vagrants/drunk bar patrons -- but that is unavoidable in Midtown)!

    Pros:Great place to live in terms of location. Right across the street from three bars with about 10 more within walking distance. Randall’s/Walgreens/CVS/Dry Cleaners/ Starbucks/ the giant Spec’s all within walking distance. Also, if you work downtown you have the option to walk.Pool area is pretty nice compared to other places close by.Parking is covered and reasonably secure. I don’t know if it was just after Hurricane Harvey, but they actually had a security guard patrolling the parking garage at night.Staff is friendly and prompt in their responses in my experience.The new technology package isn’t cheap, but the download speeds are pretty fast. Most recent download speed for me ranged from 50 Mb/s to 125 Mb/s. Which translates to 0.4 to 0.9 GB per minute.I do not really use the other amenities, but they are all aesthetically pleasing/sufficient.Resident age seems to be mid to late 20s on average.I don’t have a pet, but I see a lot of people that do.Cons:There are many less fortunate indiviuals in the area. I believe this is because of the multiple homeless shelters/food kitchens a few blocks to the east. I have never had a bad experience with anyone that I have run in to or heard of any and find everyone to be fairly friendly, but walking around the area you are likely to be asked for monetary assistance semi-frequently.Grocery store/dry cleaners/and gas station are all within a block, but as you might expect, prices are fairly high at these locations.Overall:Pricey and a few minor issues, but can’t beat the location and convenience. Great supporting staff and amenities make it superior to other options in the area.
