I am beyond impressed with our interaction with John Criollo, the leasing agent. He is nothing but a consummate professional. He treated our situation with kindness and compassion. Quite honestly, empathy is hard to find in this world lately. He was handling several applicants at the same time and juggling it with ease. He took note of everything that needed to be fixed in the apartment before the move in and communicated those issues to the maintenance staff. BCV is so very lucky to have such a talented individual as the first point of contact at this apartment community.Bravo, Barton Creek Villas!! I just recently got a unit here and the new management team through Greystar has been incredible. We were able to see every type of unit on the property, many of which have been newly renovated, were given a great New Years deal getting us two months rent for free, and they have picked up the phone to offer help and answer questions through every step of the leasing process. John Criollo at the front desk has picked up the phone at all hours of the day in order to help walk me through everything and has made what could have been a stressful move almost worry free!

Yesterday I was on the way home and I saw Tristan in the front office. I decided to drop in and welcome him back from his short vacation. There was no one else there so I didnt feel as I was intrupting. He was happy to see me and thanked me. We chatted for a little while and hes always interested and so kind. It makes me happy to have him part of our team. I look forward to this evenings party that he and Mary Anne have worked so hard on. There are many older and single people in our community that feel as though the people in the office are part of our families. They are a part of our socal life . See you all tonight!

Mary Anne has been a welcome, friendly, knowledgeable addition to the office staff. She is the only stable employee under current management, and she is greatly appreciated. Residents seek her out for information, help, and advice. She’s a real professional who cares about residents.I had a high quality experience when Ray upgraded my apartment. He was there for the better part of a week, worked steadily and carefully painting trim and other chores, then cleaning up. I was there a lot of the time and he kept working even as we chatted about everything from football to grandchildren to dislocated shoulders. He’s very personable. I highly recommend and commend him.

The 5 star rating is primarily due to the outstanding leasing/management staff member, Mary Anne, and our favorite maintenance man, Frank (we recently learned Frank is no longer there, however). We have recently moved from this property but will miss the location, and the quietness and privacy we enjoyed. The property is undergoing needed major renovations (no amenities have been available to tenants for almost the past 2 years). I have no doubt once completed it will again be a very desirable property to call home. Mary Anne always went out of her way to address concerns and assist us in anyway she could with genuine care, thoughtfulness and kindness and any maintenance requests made were always completed in a very timely and reasonable period of time.

I will start out with saying that Mary Anne in Leasing office gets her own 5 stars. Every since moving in she has been kind, attentive and always available to help. Anytime I had a maintenance issue someone was there to fix it within a couple of hours. I really enjoyed my time here and could not recommend it enough. Just go visit you wont regret it.

My wife and I have been residents of Barton Creek Villas since 2017. In August 2022, Graystar Real Estate Partners acquired the property from The Connor Group. Graystar took over a property that was previously in decline and poorly managed. Over the past two years, the Graystar team has worked diligently to upgrade the property.The maintenance team at the Villas is exceptional, immediately addressing emergency requests and efficiently handling minor issues. It’s reassuring to have dedicated staff who prioritize residents’ well-being and maintain high standards for appearance and ambiance.

Trent Dodson deserves a promotion!!! He is so kind, funny, helpful, and authentic. I resigned my lease in large part thanks to Trent. He goes out of his way to assist residents, all with a smile on his face. My AC wasnt working last summer and I kept calling to have the maintenance staff come look at it. Finally he took charge and made sure I got a new unit. My apartment has been so much better ever since. Trent should be the manager, no questions asked. He organizes fun activities and brings an unmatched energy to the community that truly makes it a fun place to live! Thank you for everything Trent!

Mary Anne in the leasing office was a godsend. Any issue I had, she’d hop on it immediately and rectify it. For example, an expensive package I’d ordered was delivered to the wrong unit and she called every apartment in 2 buildings for me. She really goes above and beyond. My stay in this community would not have been half of what it was, had it not been for her.

Alex was so great, she proceeded to engage conversation about my interest in renting at Barton Creek Villas (it was my first choice after researching online). Everything worked out great and I am thoroughly enjoying living here going into the 6th month.

I love this community. So unique to have townhome-style apartments that really feel more like home than your run of the mill Austin apartments. The garages, yards, and trails make this feel more like a community of homes rather than simply an apartment complex. Excellent amenities (pool is actually nice, not just good in the pictures), and having a packaged utility makes everything easy. Not only that, the neighborhood itself is beautiful and close to Lost creek greenbelt.The front office staff are extremely friendly, helpful, and resourceful. I cant thank them enough for their assistance the past few months in helping me find a lease takeover so that I can achieve my van life dream! Theyve spent more time helping me than I could reasonably ask for. Not only that, they accommodated me for a quick turnaround move-in the same week I needed to move from my old apartment. A+

Although Barton Creek Villas was ultimately not the property we wound up leasing at (strictly due to personal reasons), Alex was a seriously great leasing agent. We came from out of town and stopped by unannounced (twice!) and each time Alex dropped what she was doing and took the time to sit down with us, talk through our questions, and take us on a tour to see the property. She asked great questions to really try and understand what it was we were looking for in a home so she could best match us with a unit. Even though Trent isn’t the current manager, he has helped me immensely since Greystar took over back in August and I hope he stays here and gets promoted! Ive lived her a little over 2 years. When the new management came in I was thrilled. From Katie and Tiffany to John and his crew they are wonderful. They are all polite, kind and considerate, while professional. I live alone and they make me feel as though they care about me and my little dog, Abby. They are so sweet to her. Each time Ive had a request it is handled quickly and correctly.The only area I wish The Connor Group would work on is the grounds and landscaping crews. Plant some bushes or flowers in front of the nice new signs. I miss out fro t fountain. The dog park is wonderful. Thank you. I know youre still getting the kinks out so I am patient. Thank you.

Stay at Barton Creek Villas was a fantastic experience. We wanted to get away from the noise and some of the dangers that come with city living, and this was the perfect place to do it. This is a very pet friendly community, the office staff is always kind and helpful, and the community has direct access to a great nature walk!+ The drive through the hills to get home was always such an added bonus!

I have lived here going on 6 years. I have dealt with many management teams.When Lisa, Katie and Alex got here they inherited quite a few problems. They got to work right away to correct these.Now our pool is clean and sparkley and no longer broken.Our mailboxes had been broken into twice. The permanent fix is on the way and will provide us with safety.Our dog park is cleaned twice a week.They are working hard to turn this back into the Barton Creek Luxury Apartments.I love living here and will continue to do so.All those who are rude and do nothing but complain, try to be positive and part of the solution.

I am an apartment locator and work with hundreds of properties in my search to find the perfect apartments for my customers. Barton Creek Villas is one of my favorite communities!! I am so fortunate to have had the pleasure of working with their property manager, Britney Reeves recently!The original apartment we came in to inquire about was being applied for as we walked in by another couple... but Britney worked a miracle by finding us another that was less expensive and even included a yard! My customer was ecstatic and leased on the spot. I had prepared a list of six options for her to check out that day but after touring with Britney she was convinced this was the perfect new home for her! She didn’t want to see anything else! :)Britney’s cheerfulness, enthusiasm and knowledge of the property made this such a pleasant and easy experience especially for someone moving here from another city. Not all on-site leasing agents and property managers are created equal, believe me! She went over every detail with us and was especially thorough and patient! Thank you, Britney!! You make my job easier and your professionalism and great personality leave my clients feeling very confident about moving in to your beautiful community!

We absolutely love living at Barton Creek Villas! Its the only place I know where you can get a little back yard, fireplace and built in bookshelves for great rent. Its a beautiful neighborhood. The units are very comfortable and cute. The front office staff are so friendly and helpful. You can tell how hard they are trying to ensure this is a wonderful place to live. The location in the hills of Austin is stunning. 10/10 would recommend living here. Also, my pup Tilly loves it here too and is very welcome.

My husband and I have lived here for the last two years, and if I didn’t have to move for work we would stay years longer. Big garages, yards on first floors, and very homey apartments with modern updates! A cute little pet yard and huge pool + hot tub, gym, and outdoor grills with tons of seating. Dog park as well! Such a friendly community and the staff are SO nice (they were even helping residents in the middle of the snowstorm). We even had to use the emergency maintenance at 2 AM once and they responded quickly and efficiently! We will miss our home here!

I notified the office this morning of garbage disposal, becoming dislodged from the bottom of the sink. I put in a request for repair. In no time the two are maintenance men showed up at the door and were able to fix the disposal. I also drew their attention to the shelf that was sort of coming off from the wall and they were able to fix that as well. Excellent, and very quick service. Very nice and very helpful. A repair job.

This is a great apartment community. The grounds are very well kept and maintainance is very quick to respond. Kate in the leasing office awesome and very attentive when you go to the clubhouse. Shelby is also very friendly and attentive. My lease is coming to an end and I have decided to renew my lease because of the atmosphere and the professionalism of the office staff. If you are interested in a great apartment community, you should definitely call them and ask for Kate!

Loved my apartment! I spent 4 years at Barton Creek and loved the neighbors, the amenities, and the location - peaceful, safe, quiet, attached garage, fenced yard for my pups - and always dog treats in the management office! Whats not to like? I never had an issue that wasnt addressed and would highly recommend this for someone who needed a pet and resident friendly community.

I moved in a year ago and have had an overall great experience starting with even looking at my apartment when I was first interested. One of the front desk ladies, Shelby, has been always available right away to help me with any questions I have. I had a little hiccup with needing to move into a two bedroom ASAP after living here for less than a year and she was very helpful with finding a good option for me within the budget that I needed.If theres anything that needs to be fixed, they are really quick to come check it out once I put in a work order, which is really helpful since I have a busy schedule and cant be home much.Overall, everyone who works at Barton Creek Villas is very sweet, knowledgeable, and eager to help. I will definitely be staying for a while!

All I can say is we love where we live I just got new tile in shower, kitchen and not to mention the fixture upgrade in my unit. The staff and crew that completed the work was so nice and respectful toward me, we love the pool, community and living next to a nature preserve in the hills. The team cares about me and my unit! Brandon is quick on work orders keeping his area clean.

Not only is she professional, punctual, and responsive; she has an uplifting, positive attitude and makes any conversation a pleasant one. The surrounding area and drive into the complex is absolutely beautiful! The grounds are well kept and I definitely enjoy all of the amenities offered.

I just moved in today, so this review applies only to my move-in experience so far.Simply put, Ive been given fantastic service during my move-in. Shelby and Britney have been easy to work with and communicative in making sure that the application and move-in processes went smoothly. Shelby drove to walk me through my new apartment and made sure it would accomodate my needs. The other luxury apartments Ive previously rented from in Austin have not done this for me, so I really appreciated this! My new apartment is clean with a beautiful backyard with freshly-laid grass, so shout out to the maintenance team, also!

My husband and I just signed our 5th contract with Barton Creek Villas and could not be happier to be here. In the time we have lived here we have seen several property managers come and go...some good and some not so good. But the current office of Lisa, Katie and Alec are welcoming and friendly and ready to help residents the best they can. In the past there have been problems with trash pick up, the swimming pool and the dog park. Each problem has been resolved and we have a beautiful property residents can enjoy, take pride in as well as help care for. We continue to meet neighbors who enjoy living at BCV and we look forward to a long stay.

This is a great community. One thing that really sticks out to me when looking for a new apartment is the management style and leasing consultants professionalism. Barton Creek Villas checked those boxes and is why I send clients there. Christina ( Manager ) was so nice to my clients and constantly followed up with me to see what she can do to gain a resident. Christina wants every resident to be happy. Perfect location too along with great floor plans and clean community. You wont be disappointed when touring these apartments.

After moving to Austin and having to find an apartment virtually, I was so exhausted and hopeless that I was going just give up and settle on just any apartment. The last day that I decided I was going to look for an apartment, Katie ended up giving me a call in regards to a tour of Barton Creek Villas! Although the unit I was looking at was still occupied and couldn’t get an actual tour of the place, Katie was so helpful in making sure that I knew what the place looked like by sending me many pictures, as well as answering all of my questions about the unit and the property amenities. I ended up submitting my application the same day. Katie made the whole process so quick and easy and it was definitely such a relief after all of the stress I was dealing with with many of the other properties. Now I’m at an apartment that I absolutely love and its all thanks to her. She’s such a doll!

When I started my search for a new home and transitioning from a house to an apartment was a little nerve racking, but I knew I was making the right decision when I walked into Barton Creek Villas. I was greeted by all smiles from the girls in the office. Tiffany the leasing agent asked me about everything I wanted in my new home and made sure that she showed me units that had everything that I needed/wanted. When move in day came, Katie the property manager made it a point to come out and introduce herself, to me that shows she genuinely cares about meeting all of her residents. I haven’t had any issues inside my apartment but every time I drive around the community I get all smiles and waives from all the maintenance staff. It’s really important to feel comfortable with the people that are operating the place that you live and I am assured that these girls have it completely under control.Thanks so much!

I just moved into the apartments and the staff has been so warm and welcoming!Both of the Katie’s have answered all my questions and helped with my new living situation.I love this area so the complex was the perfect fit for me! It’s serene with the greenbelt, there are tails around the complex, and friendly neighbors who are quickly becoming friends.They have a very comfortable front office with computers availabile, which I had to use today since I haven’t setup my WiFi yet.All in all, I have loved my first two weeks and look forward to many more to come!

I have lived here for a long time and have had no problems. However,I try to treat the staff with kindness not demands. I have found them to always be kind and helpful. Shelby and Kate are very nice and always try to help and the maintenance guys, Lewis, Rhett and the really nice man who takes the trash is so nice. Does everything get fixed the minute you tell them.. no , but there are a lot of people here with lots of complaints from wanting a light bulb changed for them ( right??!!) to a broken air conditioner. But everything I have asked to have fixed gets taken care of in a reasonable amount of time. So I give the staff 2 thumbs up.

We moved into our Barton Creek Villas apartment about a month ago from Minneapolis, MN.It was my first big cross-country move and I was extremely anxious. In addition to the stress of moving our entire lives to a city we didnt even know, we were quickly approaching our move out date and still hadnt secured a place to live once we got to Austin. We really wanted a home with a yard for our puggle and at least one garage and additional parking spots close by for our 3 cars which was something I didnt think was possible in an apartment.After we realized finding a rental home might not be an option anymore, I decided to start looking at apartments. I filled out a few contact forms for various apartments in the Bee Cave/Lakeway area and also for Barton Creek Villas. I was beyond surprised when my phone rang minutes after submitting my contact form to Barton Creek Villas.Katie was extremely personable and accommodating to our needs... which included finding us the perfect unit with a nice back yard, garage, and extra parking spots right in front of our apartment! She also respected our budget and was really helpful in making sure we didnt go over.To be honest, we had no idea what this area would be like. We were just desperate to get our feet planted. Katie was kind enough to send us pictures of the unit but, of course, it is still hard to tell how a place is from just pictures so our expectations were pretty low. When we actually got to our apartment after 2 days of driving we were SO SO pleasantly surprised by how charming this complex (and area) is. These apartments look more like a townhouse community than they do apartments and we love that. We have a lot of privacy and it is so peaceful here compared to our downtown Minneapolis condo. The apartments are a bit older but still pretty nice.Overall, I really think we lucked out with these apartments and are really happy to call it our first home in Austin!Throughout our entire move, Katie has been so helpful and I dont think our move would have gone as smoothly without all of her help!

I have to admit, I was skeptical prior to my move-in. Just a word of advice - what you read isnt always true! After living here for almost 2 months I feel this is the best decision Ive made. Thanks to Kelley, Shelby. Angel and the rest of the team, I am very comfortable in my quiet apartment home. The area is clean and you cant help but enjoy the beautiful surroundings. They are attentive to my needs and quick to resolve any issues/maintenance requests. This is a hard working team who will always do their best. I am very grateful and cant thank you all enough!

The new management is very accommodating and extremely friendly. The upgrades to the dog park, fitness center, pool area, and business center are a beautiful sight to see. Any type of maintence is swiftly tended to by a top tier team. The grounds are very well maintained and nightly curbside trash pick-up is a major convenience. We very happily signed our 3rd lease and look forward to a larger apartment with an even better balcony view, our current view is already amazing. Our favorite time of year living here is summertime. With a very active friendly community, you are sure to make new friends.

Im going on three years and what is now my third apartment in the complex. I will admit in the beginning the quality was not worth the $$$. Since the new staff, and name change came about this place has been completely turned around. They have updated the entire community, fixed things that were overlooked, and work request now take hours not days. The management team works to retain residents and keep us happy versus focusing on signing new leases and filling vacant units. Great, convenient and safe place to live. Highly recommend!

If you don’t fall in love just driving through the gates, you shouldn’t be in Austin.Cassidy showed us around the beautifully kept grounds and my husband and I felt like we were floating. The pool and bark park are out of a magazine and a lot less crowded than Barton springs. I love how quiet and peaceful it feels and for even more of that feeling I can walk the perfectly maintained trails.We found our dream “home” in a two bed two bath mini mansion. It had it all. Huge kitchen with beautiful counters and new or what I would think to be new cabinets. The breakfast bar next to the dining room is perfect for hosting friends for our monthly housewives brunch!The huge closets in both rooms are perfect for all of my clothes and shoes and we are even thinking of converting one of the rooms into our golden retreiver’s puppy condo.The back porch overlooks greenery and trees and is perfect for cocktails and privacy which is perfect because I love drinking wine in my undies.What else can I say? They’re clean, efficient, well maintained apartments with no bugs, no noises neighbors and an excellent management staff. Go there. Run to the office and get your name in for your dream space.Stop reading this! GO!

Two days ago, it was a very extraordinary day for me, because I am very happy to have been able to make a product thats I make cookies for my final project exam from my campus, I am also happy to be able to give a sample of my final project product to the office in my apartment, I am also very happy Lisa, Katie, Aley, tried product samples for my final project and filled out a questionnaire form for my final project product.Before I could make the product for the final project, I have a problem thats a problem is I didnt have a baking sheet to bake my product final project product in my apartment but, Lisa, Alay, and Angel helped me to find the baking sheet, and finally, the next day Angel gave me a baking sheet and brought it straight to me my apartment, I am very very happy and grateful to be able to live here, I am very happy for the service and help from Lisa, Katie, Aley, and Angel and other staff here, I am very happy and comfortable staying here, I am very comfortable with the facilities here. like a business center where I can do my final assignment report and make a warm cup of coffee. I was invited to visit and Yaletza was my agent to provide information and tour the property to see a couple units. She was so accommodating, going out of her way, and professional, I really enjoyed meeting her and her time and patience while I sorted out the pros and cons of making a move from another complex. From the very beginning she was respectful to my indecision and patient, even providing some alternative considerations. Yaletza is a terrific leasing agent, I have worked in the business and she displayed all the qualities I sought when looking for quality professional, and compassionate agents. Quite frankly, after my experience with Sendera and the management staff/repair rate- I was prepared to move. Since the new management took over - there has been a world of difference in the quality of life here. In fact, during the meeting where I was to inform management of moving, I realized it wasnt the same staff. The repaired all my AC issues, leak issues. Because of the improvement in the quality of service, instead of moving - we upgraded to the largest floor plan and will be moving to another apartment - in this complex - instead of somewhere else.They also upgrade the dog park to have small obstacles and a nice turf, as well as upgrading the outdoor amenities and fitness areas. The pool is perfect, and there is now real cover in near the fire place in case of a sprinkle. The gym is awesome, with new equipment and a facelift. Just really great upgades everywhere. The management still stands out as the top notch in the upgrades.Truly a huge, and welcome turnaround in the quality of service here. I definitely do not regret extending my lease.

Lovely quiet community. Pricing is comparable and reasonable for the area. Floorplans are spacious and far more functional than others in the area. Attached garages!! All communities arent without their issues but overall this community has been a favorite of mine and why Ive been here almost 3 years. Ash, in the office is a delight to work with and she has been so proactive and responsive to outstanding maintenance issues than previous management staff. I do hope to continue seeing these faces in the office in the future.

Happiness is Homemade!I moved from the Midwest 3 years to Austin, TX. I moved in with my mom to figure out what side of town I wanted to end up living in. After 8 months I ventured off to find my home! I think after coming from your moms gorgeous 5 bedroom home in Steiner Ranch your standards are a bit higher. It was always clean, safe, felt good to walk through the door, and just felt like home to me. I reached out to an apartment locater (also new to me) and he showed me 3 properties. I fell in love with Barton Creek Villas (at the time Sendera) It was private, clean, reasonable priced, and the staff was kind.2 weeks after move in things were completely opposite of what they said in that lovely tour they gave me. I was totally bummed and wanted to go back to that clean, safe and home feeling house my mom provided. I put in maintenance requests, only to watch 10 days go by. I was in love with the property and location, so I decided I have one year and to make the most of it. Renewal time came and I did not renew. I moved. The new place I moved to was nothing like Barton Creek Villas but the management was spectacular! I think I asked myself daily which one was worse. Poor management or a poor property. I decided on poor property and moved back...BUT this time to find out 30 days into my lease...new management!Well...it became that time. Maintenance request. I dreaded going into that office. I walked in to a extremely kind brown haired manger who welcomed me with the biggest smile, and said How can I help you? At first I didnt think she was talking to me. But she was. I was so used to his property getting mad and upset when you needed something. I proceeded to explain I had a issue with my kitchen cabinet, she apologized and said we will get right on that. I thought sure lady. Ive heard it a million times. But this time the next day, I walked into my apartment with a We were here...1. Thank-you for telling me you were in my unit2. Less then 24 hours...WOWFrom that moment I knew change was here! Change in the best way. Change in a way this property absolutely needed!See the bigger picture is everything in the world has issues. People get upset if they pull into a gas station and have to wait, well thats life. Gas stations fill up. Well guess what staff gets busy. I was so closed minded to new management due to the years prior of empty promises.The management Katie and Tiffany ARE and WILL make a change, because they already have. Home is where we are happy. Find the most peace. Feel safe. Enjoy life. I shouldnt have had to decide between poor management vs. poor property. BUT I am so glad I was faced with that choice because now Barton Creek Villas is one of the best properties in Austin, TX to live...hands down!!!It takes one person to make a different thats it! In this case it took two, and thank god it did! I now am living in the most amazing unit, tucked in the woods, completely upgraded, private as ever (literally 85% of my windows look out to trees) and everything in my unit works perfect! My utility bill is 66 bucks, I have a garage leading into my unit, a private entrance to my front door, miles of trails, downtown in 15 minutes, grocery store in 7 minutes, gym in 7 minutes, my vet in 5 minutes, groomer in 8 minutes, literally everything I need!Youve done an amazing Job Katie! Your EXACTLY what this beautiful property needed, a beautiful soul to run it :))

Ive lived at Barton Creek for over a year and half and I love it. At first, when it was Sendera, I never had any issues until it was time to go pick up any packages. Every time I went in, it always seemed like I was bothering them and they were never friendly. I almost hated to order anything and was starting to use my work address just so I didnt have to deal with the front office. When the email went out about the upcoming managment change I didnt think much of it because the negative side of me figured we would have the same type of front office workers. The last couple weeks with the old management crew was bad. I had to pick up packages and they were straight up rude. One of the ladies said that I didnt have anything and I should track it to the young gentleman that was halfway in the hallway, when he came back to me, I informed him that I did and it said it was delivered. She began to get aggravated and yell even louder that the post office is wrong and I should check my box. Needless to say it was very clear they checked out and didnt give a rats ass about any of us because they were leaving. A few weeks later, I had to request a letter stating that I had been living in Austin, Texas for a year so I could be considered an in district student. When I sent the email I was so worried that it wouldnt get a response. Well, Tiffany pulled through and sent me my letter. I didnt really know that she was from the new company until it came down for me to go in and pick up a package. When I walked in, she was so warm and inviting and it was a complete 180 from my last experience. She introduced herself and said if there was anything I need to just let her know. I never dread going up to the office to pick up packages anymore! Lol. Tiffany is the best and hands down knows how to treat the residents here at Barton Creek Villas. I know if there is a problem she will do all she can to get it resolved!

Excellent place to live and excellent service from front office. Katie is always on top of it and willing to go out of her way to make sure you’re taken care of. Highly recommend living here.

The ladies that gave us the tour absolutely should be commended for their hard work and effort because they had me sold immediately!
