Ive had a fantastic experience living at Avana Thornton Station. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful , always going above and beyond to address any concerns or requests Ive had. Maintenance requests are handled promptly and efficiently, and the entire property is well- maintained and clean. I particularly appreciate Gail for her outstanding customer service. She was very helpful and knowledgeable. I highly recommend Avana Thornton Station to anyone looking for a comfortable and welcoming apartment community.

My husband and I recently applied for an apartment here and will be moving in this April. So far, our experience has been absolutely wonderful! Weve primarily been working with Xomara, who has been incredibly responsive, friendly, and helpful throughout the entire process. She has answered all of our questions with patience and professionalism, making everything smooth and stress-free.The community itself is beautiful—well-maintained, inviting, and exactly what we were looking for in a new home. We truly appreciate the warm welcome we’ve received and can’t wait to officially move in and start this new chapter!

This Property Is Centerally Located And A Little Hidden All At The Same Time And That Is One Of The Reasons I Love This Place Aside From How Gorgeous The Renovations Are, Size Is Very Spacious With Ample Amenities. The Best Part Is The Staff Gail And Claudia Are Beyond Amazing And Made Everything Really Explanatory And Smooth For Me Their Personalities Really Made My Day. I wanted to stop and recognize the great job the entire staff at Avana Thornton Station did today. My sink started to leak shortly after 5pm, and, with the water coming out at a steady rate, I began to panic. Luckily, Leo from the maintenance team arrived minutes (felt like seconds) after I submitted my ticket online through the portal. Leo did a great job of understanding the situation by asking relevant questions, and then quickly eradicating the problem. Thanks to Leo the mess was very minimal and did not damage any of my property.I have been a resident at this property for about 5 months now, and I have had nothing but a great experience.

Maintenance is great and always friendly when they have time, but they are super over whelmed. They should hire more so that needs are addressed in a more timely manner. 3 months for a dishwasher and my dryer still isnt functioning properly.The office staff is pretty great. Monique takes care of business and has great customer service skills. She does what she says and speaks in a direct manner.The community is pretty quiet and its a great location. It would be amazing if small dog owners were made more aware that they are also responsible for picking up after their dogs. Its quite annoying but when I complain to Monique she always gets some one on it. Even though it isnt hers or anyone but the pet owners responsibility.My unit is has everything I was looking for and a lot of space. I only have 2 minor complaints and love the community/my unit. I am pretty confident that I will renew my lease when it comes time.

UPDATE**** My time at Champions has come to and end as I will not be renewing my lease. I was asked to make an honest review of the property before I leave, and here I am...First, I have truly enjoyed my time here. I have always found the office staff to be friendly, the pool was always sparkling, and besides the dryer issue mentioned below, I had no major issues.The most memorable staff for me are Johnny and Nicole. They were beyond friendly, and helpful and I always appreciated how they were eager to help.To comment on some of the other reviews, yes, visitor parking is very limited. BUT there are signs EVERYWHERE warning of the booting policy. SO if you cant read, this will be an issue for you.The maintenance employees are no good. You will have to follow up every day until you get the issue is fixed. The office staff is not the problem here. It is truly the maintenance people. I have been there when the office is trying to get someone out to me, they have no control over the laziness. If they could fix it themselves, I am confident they would.I am sad to be moving, I loved the space here and the hot tub during a snow storm was my favorite, but I cam promise you, this is a great place to live in Thornton.EDIT** well to my delight, I came home and my dryer was replaced. So it took a little tough love to get it done, but none the less- it is fixed! Now for a real review of these apartments. The staff is overall friendly, the community is nice, but what people are saying about the pool- isn’t wrong. However, the residents who are responsible for defacing the property should be help accountable. Have some pride in where you live. I love this area, love my apartment and can now happily do laundry. I will however leave my first review I posted. Thanks management for getting my issue taken care of.I am overall mostly happy with my experience at champions park. I am writing this review in hopes that it triggers someone to come fix my dryer. I have asked three times for it to be replaced as it almost caught on fire leaving my apartment filled with smoke. Last Monday when maintence was here to fix it they took it all apart and left it. I have spoken to the assistant manager and two leasing agents and each time was told “we will print this work order out for you...” it has now been a week and two days with not a single response. I would appreciate a phone call just updating me with a time frame on when I can expect it to be fixed. I went ahead and also called the corporate office in Texas, again, in hopes to spark some action. I enjoy the community but a week and two days is ridiculous so if giving a negative review ups my chances of getting something taken care of- then so be it! Let this be a lesson in productivity and customer service

Just moved in a month ago, and we love it so far...The move-in process was somewhat seamless. The neighbors are friendly, the apartment is open and spacious, and were close to everything we need as far as shopping. So far so good 👍

I have had an amazing experience living here - it’s a safe and well maintained property with nice amenities. Maintenance responds within 24 hours and I’ve never had any issues. Bobby and Nicole in the leasing office are extremely friendly and helpful- I had to break my lease due to an out of state move and they got everything taken care of super quickly. I would absolutely recommend Avana!

Really glad i found this apartment complex in that area and very satisfied with the experience. Ive lived in about 7 places throughout the country and this is by far the best one. They also have the biggest floor plans in town. Everything is well maintained, service requests are usually taken care of in no longer than 48 h which is a thing not every complex does. Its nice that they also have a tennis/basketball court, so you dont need to drive elsewhere(which we used 3-4 times a week). We kind of overused the bbq place by the pool and no one ever told us anything :) The staff is really nice and kind to everyone(they even organized some events). Is this not enough?! :)) OK! heres another one: after a year of lease, weve only been charged $140 for the cleaning fees, thats all ! Other apartments will rip you off after you leave, trust me.. been there.If/when i move back to Denver, i would definitely choose Champions Park again.

Since the first day we decided to apply Monique Espinosa (management) was very helpful. She was very nice also informative which made our decision in choosing these apartments a lot easier and had chosen with confidence. After moving in Monique did everything to assure our appliances were up and running as well as other issues encountered. Monique did a great job in responding back to our emails and has made our stay very welcoming.

We had a difficult move from out of state and we were running out of time to make it to the office before it closed. Silva waited after hours for us. Granted it was only 20 minutes but still it was much appreciated. The apartment was clean and ready for us but I did have a few issues. I had to go to the office 2 days later anyways so I told Silva about them and maintenance was at my apartment with in the hour. My AC was fixed and was told a different washer would be delivered between 8 and 9 the next morning. Sure enough 830am rolls around and heres my washer. Silva has been incredibly helpful during this move and the maintenance staff is very prompt. I highly recommend Champions Park to anyone looking for a comfortable, reasonable priced, spacious, and close to everything, place to rent.

I have lived at Champions Park Apartments for over 6 years, and have not experienced any issues with rudeness or bad customer experience from the staff at the office, but can tell you that they have been professional, courteous and kind. They greet you when you walk in the clubhouse with a smile, and are ready to help. Maintenance is responsive and caring when you have an issue, and everyone does their level best to make things right if something goes wrong, and often make it better than it was before! I believe most of the negative reviews come from people who didnt follow the rules or policies, or were possibly unreasonable in their request. It certainly isnt the norm or I wouldnt still call this home 6 years later! The complex is clean, the apartments are lovely, the neighbors are great, and its a good community to live in. I highly recommend this complex to anyone who is looking for a place to call home!

Maintenance is phenominal and they always tend to any issue right away, the office staff is so professional and helpful! The property manager is amazing and is always there when you need to speak with her! If you plan on moving to Thornton then Champions Park is the place to live!

My husband and I have lived here for about two and a half years. The only problems we have run into have been the usual apartment problems, thin walls, noisy neighbors, and on occasion rude office staff. The only time I have complained about a neighbor was the first year we were here and it was handled quickly and professionally. I dont like that with the new management company you have to pay a $5 fee to pay rent online if you dont setup auto payments but thats really not a big deal in the end. Grounds are well kept and the few maintenance people we have dealt with have been polite and quick to fix the problem. We would stay here longer if the rent want getting too expensive for us.

I am a current resident. I have lived here almost 2 years. The apartments are nice, spacious and quiet. They are well built and maintained very well. The office staff is exceptional. I have lived in many different complexes in the metro area and would rate this experience the best. In the almost 2 years, the only complaint Id have is parking. Id like to see parking enforced. Some neighbors have 3 cars, some dont run. Visitors should have a designated visitor section so as not to take resident parking. Also, I know its legal now but smoking pot is not cool when you FORCE your neighbors to deal with it too. Lastly, I wish there was better security patrols. Several drug deals have taken place in the parking lots. These are not serious issues. This is a SAFE place to live. Most everyone is friendly and have a knack for helping out (pulled me out of snow drifts a couple times) This is a GREAT place for small FAMILIES and renters serious about life (not into partying or being loud). They are on the pricey end but for a safe, well run community its worth it.

We have been living here for almost 3 years. The first year was ok, but communication and response was not the best. No empathy for any issues that happened to you or your property. Had to renew my lease due to Covid-19 and in the meantime the new administration took over. It has been a great and noticeable change. Edgar V. is amazing and super customer service oriented. He makes sure that whatever your issue is, it’s taken care of. He makes you feel like it is also his issue. Last month, we renew for one more year! They maintain the property clean, they are very responsive and listen to your concerns. They try to find solutions to make you feel happy and safe. I can’t say enough of how different this community feels today. JB

I am a happy new resident at Avana Station. It sounds like the previous management company wasnt doing a great job, but so far that has not been my experience. Nicole Derwent was our leasing agent and made everything incredibly smooth. Response time back from staff regarding some maintenance issues upon move in were responded to, and addressed in a reasonable time frame. Overall a great place to live!

Thankful for the great team here at Champions Park especially the Office Manager Hannah. She is always on top of any concerns we have ever had. We had a rough time with the parking situation over Easter weekend. Im please to say the entire complex received an email that they have heard us and are starting the process to improve the parking for guests, and the new 24 hours club house access. They are always looking for ways to evolve and improve.Thank you for working so hard to keep is all happy.

We love it here. I think a lot of the people who are complaining either just moved out of their parents house or think that the managers are supposed to be personally assigned to them. I bet they have more than a few complaints about every where they have ever lived, every store they shop in, every road they drive. Our apartment is huge, great closet space, lots of sunshine and breeze. Every time we call maintenance, and its only been 2 or 3 times in 3 years, they have been timely and helpful. My biggest issue is with the tenants who let their dogs pee and crap in the kids play area, even though there is a sign saying no pet waste and there are multiple green belts all over the complex for people to walk their dog, baggies and trash cans are provided, and there is even a small dog park. Lazy tenants....As far as the shoveling, they are always very timely. You have to understand that there are probably 20 buildings and you cant expect yours to be first, and the next one to be first, and the next. Silly. Its more expensive than wed like to pay, which is why we are thinking of not renewing...but thats the market, not the complex.

My husband and I have lived here for five years, and they have been some of the happiest years weve ever had. Whenever we need service the guys come asap. I am much indebted to the service guys! We are likewise indebted to the management--to all the office people. We ran into problems after a health crisis and they worked those problems out with us. I cant remember the last time someone actually gave a crap, and helped us through bad times.This is home to us. I cant even think of moving elsewhere. Its warm or cool depending on the season, and safe and dry. Nothing leaks and the plumbing works great. The location is perfect. The landscaping is beautiful. And there are rabbits out and about that I love to watch. The only problems we have to deal with are normal life problems that people everywhere have to deal with. Im just happy we can deal right here where we feel at home.

She had genuine interest in what I needed for my future home.The apartment I saw was spacious and beautiful and with the help of Monique I could envision exactly what my home would look like with my belongings in there.

Great place for long term parking! Signs claim parking is monitored but theyre just for show. Theres absolutely no parking enforcement of any kind making this a great place to store trailers or park a semi for weeks or even months at a time with no risk or consequences. If you need a parking lot in the area, this should be your go to.

I have read some of the comments and everyone has a right to their opinion. From my experience everything has been positive. Everyone in the office has been very friendly and upfront. The maintenance men have been very nice and compliant. I have had a couple of little issues and they have been addressed within 24 hrs. I am not sure about shoveling the sidewalks but I have not had a problem. If I was in that much of a need I would shovel it myself. I would not rate this a 5 star as I dont think ANY place is perfect but I would go to a 4 3/4 . So far I have no complaints. (cant put 3/4 star so its 5)

So...... I just moved into a two bed two bath. I just have to say I love it. The layout it real nice bedrooms on opposite ends of the apartment works out real good for roommates. A real updated feel.... happy to come home at the end of the day. The only downside to having vaulted ceilings is that I have to walk up 3sets of stairs to have them. They look really good tho!!!!!!:)

Toured a nice 1bdrm unit at this complex and my first impression walking into the clubhouse, was WOW this place is super nice! I could see the pool outside as soon as I walked in. I was immediately greeted by Monique, who was extremely helpful and very detailed throughout the tour. After the tour, Monique also made sure to share additional information about the surrounding area and convenient amenities. Overall, customer service, complex tour was A++, definitely high on my list for consideration!

I had some water intusion issues, which was inconvenient, but the manager Hannah and Maintenance guy Kip were on top of it. They had great communication with what I was to expect and how long it was going to take. It made a hard situation go extremly smooth! I see alot of negative reviews about the parking situation but can say the entire office staff is upfront about the policy and none of my guests have been booted! Thanks Champions Park Staff for all you do!

If we have an issue it is fixed in a reasonable time frame!! TheApts have all been repainted on the outside,the parking lot has been redone...it looks great!!Our main concern is the Office Employees!! My self and my husband would like to say a big thank you to Benjamin Martin. Our hot water heater went out and he and another gentleman worked on it from 6:30 pm until 11:15 pm to get it fixed. They came back the next morning and had our hot water working great along with the other small things we needed. They were both very professional and very nice!! Thank you so very much we greatly appreciate it!! We highly recommend these guys for another resident needing any maintenance done!! Thank you again :)

Skye and Morgan at the office have been great during my lease renewal process. Ive lived in Champions Park for 5 years now and though I can agree that the new Greystar Management company is not as stellar as Archstone, that has absolutely NOTHING to do with Skye, Morgan, or the other employees in the office.Skye and Morgan both were an integral part in helping me to keep Champions Park as my home and without their help and follow through I would not be renewing my lease.THIS 4 STAR review is intended for Skye and Morgan and the team at Champions Park. I love this community! access to everything, location is everything and champions park is located perfectly. The units are spacious, with amazing lighting. The price is just right and management its outstanding.Check out champions park, I highly recommend it!!

I love it here the maintenance staff is courteous and on time and they get it done professionally the office staff is amazing especially Jeff its a great place to live quiet,Neat and clean so if youre looking to move to north Denver champions Parker definitely be a place to go.
