Great complex, they are currently updating the exteriors!! I’ve been here for I think 4ish years and have had no problems. Normal neighbor noise level which is expected. The ladies in the office are the absolute best and are very understanding people and have never given me a hard time for anything. If you’re a first time renter or a young person these apartments are priced generously and nice for the price. They currently went under new management and I was worried about it but I think it’s much better. Keep up the good work woodcrest!

Ive been here since may and I honestly wouldnt change my decision both of the ladies in the office are very sweet. The pool is open, the apartments arent trashy maintenance is always making sure that everything is working properly..They are doing updates to the property. If I would of went off of previous ratings I would of missed a decent place to stay

We have not moved in yet, however; we are set to move in tomorrow. We are really excited due to bad experiences in the past with office staff. We have had family that lived here in the past and loved it! So far the process has been very good. They gave us a great move in deal and have helped with any problems so kindly even though I call multiple times a day with silly messages. There was one hiccup with our move in date, but the staff (I think her name was Ana) was super professional and polite about the issue and resolved it immediately. I cannot recommend this place enough! I will write another review throughout the time on our lease! :)

I moved in back early may and I’ve had the absolute best experience. The office staff (Ana) was so kind and professional. If I need anything maintenance wise, they are right there. The maintenance staff is also amazing. If I ever need anything they are right there to help. I can’t recommend this place enough! Great pricing and location too!Thank you to all Woodcrest staff! Yall need a raise!

I have been residing here at wood crest since April of 2017. I was searching for a great place that would also have reasonable pricing. Once I was settled in, I was unsure about how things would go. My previous experiences with apartments were not well due to the fact that their maintenance was poor and I wasn’t getting what I was paying for, so I was hoping to have an all around positive upgrade here at Woodcrest. I am downstairs and I absolutely love it here. I have had many neighbors whom I have became friends with, and I have never had any issues with any of them as well as anyone else at this complex. It’s very quiet here and there has never really been any crime since I have gotten here which I enjoy the most. Maintenance has been amazing as well. One day my shower faucet broke off and within an hour of notifying the office, I was contacted back and the faucet was fixed the same day. I am notified ahead of time whenever it comes to fixtures or bug spraying. A couple months back maintenance fixed the parking lots and really proved to me that they not only care about the inside of my home, but also the outside. It was greatly appreciated. I have renewed my lease once and i 100% plan on renewing again whenever the time comes. This has been the best apartment complex I have ever lived in.

Friendly, respectful staff. Maintenance is quick and efficient. Decent affordable apartments with convenient location! Landscaping is very well kept up with.During the summer the two gorgeous pools are always clean and ready for splash fun. Laundry units work great. All my neighbors are either very friendly or very quiet. Overall a good place to live. I’d definitely recommend these apartments. Especially the updated units!

  • Review 7 (2018-12-20 - Rating: 4)

I’ve lived here since October 2014. It really is a great value and a lot of square footage. The units are a little outdated, but I have seen that they are updating units as people move out. They gave me a new refrigerator when I signed my new lease to help keep me updated. They offered a new stove too, but I declined since my stove works fine. They have a lot more people working maintenance now, so work orders are getting done faster. The biggest problem I’ve had recently is that a lot of tenants are not using leashes on their dogs, and my dog was attacked one day. This isn’t the complex’s fault, but I do wish that leash laws would be enforced more. These tenants need to be reminded that dogs should be tethered at all times rather than using the property as their personal backyard.

So far as i can tell Woodcrest is about the nicest most affordable place for a single professional person to live. for the most part everything is very quiet, traffic noise is minimal, the worst Ive noticed so far is that i can hear my above floor neighbors stomping but thats pretty standard for multi-story stuff. the mail is convenient, the prices are decent, i like the free gym membership and my utilities are only costly because i insist on fancy internet and keeping my apartment colder than normal, even so my bills are completely reasonable for all the electricity i consume. i like having the tiny patio in front for plants and sunshine, and the property managers are awesome and very helpful! Theyre my favorite so far!the things that i noticed that could use some improvement are this: i wish there were at least one assigned parking spot per apartment that way i could be guaranteed parking near my door. I have some health issues and they tend to be exacerbated by long walks which i frequently have to do since all of my building neighbors own multiple cars. the shower is a bit tiny which isnt much of an issue but the materials its made of are very cheap. the pool is very small and heavily chlorinated. the laundry facilities are very expensive to use (1.50 for wash then 1.50 for the dryer and theres no automated system where you can get a cash card or anything.) and the building theyre in isnt very clean. and finally, people dont clean up after their pets very well, so frequently you need to watch where you step if youre getting onto the grass. this is more an issue of the tenants since there are bags available in the central courtyard, people just dont use them.Ill finish this off again by emphasizing that I absolutely love my apartment, the minor things i mentioned are just that. minor and not something that impact you on a daily basis. (except the parking.) i should also mention that the covered parking is extra each month and theres a waiting list. Then Ill mention again that the desk staff are incredibly kind and helpful.

Wonderful experience here mainly due to both office ladies being so warm, kind, and understanding. They have been a pleasure to work with on multiple occasions. The maintenance men are also very kind and do their best to fix things even when stretched thin. Thankful for this community.

My husband and I are from Dallas, TX and moved into Woodcrest 08/2017, it was our first home since getting married!. I waited a bit to write this review because the owners have changed from last year but now that Ive been in the upgraded apartment for about 4 months Ill write my review and update you guys when my lease is up! When we first moved we def got what we paid for. It was easy to make a home except the staff that worked there at that time. The perks when we moved in was that our water/sewage was included in our rent (we dont use a lot of water anyway since its a waste) but that was about it. With the new owners they started doing upgrades which makes the apartments 10x better to live in, our rent increased but it was worth it, it does not include our water which I miss (we have a 1 bedroom, our first ever bill was of $21, not bad at all) but the floors, counters, sink, rr, lights, carpet, wall color, EVERYTHING is a lot better. They even accommodated to us and let us move in 1-2 days early since it was just across from our apt, the staff now is sooo great to us! The new owners still continue the free pest control, FAST answer to work orders, we still get our membership to BODYWORKS so its DEF worth it, minus the pet owners who cant pick up their dogs mess. The only reason I wont be renewing my lease is that we got a sheet with the chance to renew our lease early but the price went up $110. My husband will be doing med school full time and I will be doing EMS full time with no idea where he will be attending. If he did stay for $110 increase we plan to move closer to the school because essentially the price would be the same at that point anyway. For now, with our busy school schedules and part time jobs it works out great! Also, dont fret on it not being on campus, the traffic that is near the school is annoying, especially during games. You have a Walmart close and a lot of restaurants! Sorry this was long.

I hope that they are not full by the time I can get the money to hold a Apartment. The property is Beautiful and the customer service is Awesome. Normally when you have a ton of questions Leasing people rush you off of the phone ,but here they took there time and let me ask them 21 questions. I think they deserve 5 stars because in Lubbock customer service -especially at apartments- SUCKS they know they will have students so they just answer the phone and treat students any kind of way. I really appreciate the outstanding customer service even during the time of year where there is an influx of students calling and in need of a place to stay

Thank you for the quick response to the work order I put in for my air conditioner! I was becoming very frustrated with it and the amount of energy and therefore money being wasted. BUT, yall got it in and replaced the thermostat and it worked beautifully last night!

Application process was very easy and Ana was extremely helpful all the times I spoke with her. She answered all questions. Even though I chose elsewhere to live, I was impressed with their time response and professionalism with the beginning process.

Good monthly rate for square footage. Great maintenance staff! Complications with utility costs, but overall a good place to live.
