    I recently took a client to check out Windsor Shepherd Apartments. The leasing consultant Christopher was awesome. He was super friendly and very informative.He answered all our questions and pointed out some great features that my client loved. It made the whole experience so much easier and more enjoyable. If you or your clients are looking for a new place, I definitely recommend stopping by this community and chatting with their team!

    **Non-resident. I am only rating my apartment tour and leasing agent**I toured here recently with Amy, and WOW. This place is extremely welcoming. It feels luxurious, from the leasing office to the carpeted hallways. Nice colorful touches add some liveliness. Cool arcade, nice pool, amazing gym & business center. Small outdoor terrace area. The only concern I would have had (based on Google reviews) would have been parking lot security - leasing agent noted that a quick-close system is now used. The ONLY thing keeping me from leasing here was simply that I chose a different part of town, but this is an excellent location very central to the hip happenings - and I recommended to a friend.

    Its quiet. The size of the property. Proximity to local venues and eateries. Easy access to my unit. The experience and professionalism of staff management, Joel, who resolved concerns, quickly and efficiently. Also, the assistance I received from Jennifer, who helped me to select my unit and arranged reservations to move-in.

    Jonathan was super friendly! Me and my sister came in when the leasing office was closing for a tour but he still find time to make us feel welcomed. We ended up doing the self guided tour and loved the community! I highly recommend Jonathan if you are looking to lease here.

    Jonathan K is amazing. Answered every question and even stayed late showing us the property in depth. He sold me on the property without ever being a salesman which is exactly the kind of treatment I hope for but seldom receive.     My Fiancé and I are on our second year living at Windsor Shepherd. We enjoy and appreciate our experience here!     I have been living at this complex for almost 2 years and I absolutely love everything about this place. It starts with management. Amy is absolutely amazing. Goes above and beyond for the residents. She’s always working hard to make sure that the community is safe, clean and social lots of activities they host for the property, from happy hours, taco trucks and monthly pets of to showcase: Jonathan is fantastic. He also goes above and beyond when a resident has an issue he’s on it immediately and with a smile. The staff is extremely hard-working, maintenance included. They are all united with the same vision of keeping Windsor shepherd, a safe and fun place to live at. Another thing that’s very special about this place is that we are like a family here everybody watches out for everybody and it’s very secure and protected. And then we have amenities on top of that that are incredible. It feels like you’re at a resort every day. The pool is beautiful relaxing clean. The gym has a great variety of machines for working out. My favorite is the sky lounge where I’m always capturing breath taking views of the sunset and downtown Houston. Another bonus is a location walking distance Allen parkway park, and so close to many restaurants and things to do 😃

    I’ve been a resident for a year so far and my experience has been phenomenal!! The office staff is amazing and very caring. Amy and Jonathan are absolutely wonderful and truly do care about the property. The maintenance staff is extremely helpful and nice. Overall the property is located in a great location as well in walking distance to everything.

    First of all, I would like to say that I’ve been living at this complex for a little over two years and I absolutely love it here. The staff is top notch Amy the manager is absolutely fantastic. Always make sure that she goes above and beyond is always working, no matter what, even if she does not feel good she is doing everything that she can to make sure that the residents are taken care of same goes with Jonathan Jonathan exceeds all expectations of an employee. He’s always making sure that the property looks top-notch, clean presentable and make sure that all the residence needs are met , we are a very tightknit community like a family and that is something very rare especially in an apartment complex. The maintenance staff is extremely helpful and respond right away to any needs. We may have. The amenities are beyond amazing the pool is beautiful and always well-kept never rowdy . The sky lounge is beautiful. You can see the sunset and the sunrise, respectively.And you cannot beat the location close to every thing downtown, Midtown, the Heights, River Oaks, uptown. There’s just so much I can say about this complex, and I’m grateful that I found it. It is a diamond in the rough for sure. Thank you Windsor shepherd thank you Amy for everything that you do.

    I really enjoy living at Windsor Shepherd. From the moment I stepped into the lobby for my first tour, I had a very different experience than I had at other communities. All of the leasing agents and property managers are so helpful and want to make your life as easy as possible. Especially Jonathan Kichamu, who never fails to make my life easier! This is my first apartment after college and so far I have been very happy with the experience. Amenities are up to date and great. Plus the coffee machine is a fantastic perk!

    I drove by this place and the building was inviting. Once I walked in the smell of this place has drawn me in, but It was smiles and personality of Amy and Johnathan that just sold us on this place! The self guided tour was everything.     I lived at Windsor Shepherd for a year and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The location puts you in close proximity to local restaurants, bars, gyms, parks, and grocery stores. All the interactions with the management staff, especially Jonathan, have been positive. The spacious floor plans, modern design and appliances, as well as the great amenities (gym and pool) provide a great quality of life. The elevators occasionally go out of service, but are fixed in a reasonable time. The key FOB system was also down for an extended time over the course of a couple months after a storm. Despite that (and the only negatives Ive experienced here), this remains a 5-star community to call home.

    I I visited many apartment buildings and a search for a new home. Then I stopped at windsor shepherd it just so happened that Jonathan Kichamu Was finishing up with a couple who also stay here now. And he had an open slot for me to take a tour. Once we toward the facility and all of the people that stayed here spoke and knew Jonathan. By first name I decided to also live here. It has been a great experience and I never thought I would like staying off of washington and shepherd but I do.

    Welp, I was going to give a 5 star review, but thats hard to do when the elevator is broken today. I ran into another resident who said it goes down often and that has me really concerned. And Im even more upset that there hasnt been a single communication to the community about it and its expected resolution.Ive been living here less than a month and its been really awesome - well until today. Amy, Johnathon and Tomorrow were all great to work with while I was searching for the apartment and were very responsive.I do hope this elevator issue is an anomaly and not a recurring issue. If so, Ill definitely update this review.

    I’ve been living here at Windsor Shepherd for a couple of years now, with no intention to move out anytime soon. Management is super friendly and helpful, and the maintenance team handles all requests almost immediately. The location is unbeatable, with lots of good restaurants, fun bars, Buffalo Bayou, and Memorial Park a short walk/jog away. The apartments are beautifully appointed with wonderfully high ceilings, which are practically inexistent in surrounding comparable buildings and make even the smallest 1-bedroom apartment feel super spacious. The pool is lovely and a great place to host and make new friends; and the gym has all the equipment you could possibly need, including two Peloton bikes. All in all, it’s been a great experience living here!

    I have lived at Windsor Shepherd for just over 2 months and have been very satisfied with the apartments. The staff members, Amy and Ryan, are very easy to work with and they make sure you are 100% satisfied. Luckily, I have a balcony overlooking the pool which is an extremely lovely view. The gym/weight room is very nice and has a variety of different exercise, weights, and cardio equipment. The premises are kept very clean. The property is very secure and safe. All the neighbors have been very friendly. Parking is always available and the elevators seem to always work. 5 stars :)

    My wife and I have lived here for about 9 months now and it has been an absolutely amazing experience. I rave about this place to my friends anytime I have a chance. My wife and I have never felt unsafe here, the location is PERFECT, the property is always clean and well kept, and the amenities are fantastic. The highlight, though: the management. I’ve had the most experience with Amy and she is always a breath of fresh air to see and talk to. Whenever there have been any inconveniences or issues pop up, she’s very communicative via email and makes sure everyone is well informed. I cannot say enough about this place and the management!

    We have lived at Shepherd for almost a year and it is by far the best apartment we have lived in. The office staff, Amy and Bianca are the nicest people ever, these ladies are extremely helpful and never disappoint, the maintenance team is always on time, they are kind and courteous when in your home and they don’t leave a mess. We love living here, the amenities are perfect, the pool area is beautiful, the game room on the 6th floor is the kids favorite. Overall this complex is beautiful and feels like home.

    So far, I have really enjoyed my time here. Moving in was easy. The package lockers are wonderful. The virtual key system works pretty well and it’s much better than having to get guests from the lobby all the time. Maintenance and the leasing office have responded quickly to all my concerns. I really enjoy the location, close enough to walk to Buffalo Bayou or grab drinks or diner at nearby bars and restaurants.

    I love my home here. Our balcony overlooks the pool which is always kept looking beautiful. The gym has every piece of equipment I could possibly need and I am close to Memorial Park and the Buffalo Bayou running trails. The location is great for free time along Washington Avenue and for an easy commute for work. The office team is super helpful and easy to work with.

    The assistant manager, Jonathan was such a great help, assisting with the relocation of 2 separate clients. According to them he made their move in process really east and was very hands on.     My husband and I moved in last September. I love everything about the complex and my unit. We live in a 1 bed, 1 bath. The unit is very spacious and open. The finishes are modern and up to date. The property is well maintained. Plenty of parking. The staff is attentive and courteous. The amenities are awesome! The gym is well equipped (stairmaster, Pelotons, free weights, bench bar, row machine, treadmill, etc.) We love the rooftop lounge and the pool area. I feel very safe here. The residents are mostly young professionals. I really enjoy that as I am a younger professional. My only complaint would be the street noise, however that is city living for ya. Ive lived in multiple apartment complexes in the heart of Houston and street noise is everywhere! Overall, I would 100% recommend!

    This is my first apartment and I can say it truly feels like home! I never have trouble parking, Packages are in lockers or a package room and have no issues, management responds really well and always have fun events set up for the residents. The area is so convenient for someone looking to be near RO, Galleria, Downtown, Heights. Maintenance is super quick on responding to work orders. Really happy to be living here!

    I was a resident here for a year and a half. I would highly recommend this apartment complex. I would say it’s very similar to most other complexes in the area. What sets them apart imo is the management. They are the best in the city. Chris and his team made my stay in Windsor extremely likable. They love their residents and will go out of their way to help. The staff is extremely friendly, efficient, respectful and make it a delight to live here. The property itself is maintained really well. Maintainence was quick to sort out any issues that I had. Walls aren’t that thin, I wasn’t disturbed by my upstairs or next door neighbors. I didn’t have a pet, but it is very pet friendly. They were also really good about the move out, no hidden fees or surprises. Overall, i was extremely satisfied and if I’m back to Houston, I’d definitely live here again.

    Absolutely love living here! We moved in right during peak Covid times and have been amazed how well management has handled everything so we renewed. Shoutout to Amy and Bianca for helping the renewal go smoothly! The staff really make an effort to get to know the residents and communicate matters timely. Every once and a while, they will host Happy Hours in the lobby, free food trucks and even a thanksgiving special! These little perks really make for a great community. The amenities are great and well kept. The gym has everything you need from weightlifting to cardio, including two Pelotons. The location is perfect and near everything - walking distance to Little Woodrow’s and Velvet Taco.Can’t wait to enjoy another year here!

    When reading the comments about the building not being safe. Remember we are in Houston . Houston Texas . H Town. Things live this happen every where. The building is nice, clean and the staff do the best they can to make things go smooth. The garage and doors have always been secured since i been here and I have no complaints.

    As much as i dislike leaving detailed reviews.The only reason why i live here is because its close to both of my jobs. i feel that the luxury part of this complex needs to be removed. For the price we pay for a home there are certain obligations and accountability Windsor/management should hold. I understand things happen as an act of weather or construction that you cannot control. but there are things here that this place can control. The security lack there of there are no survellance cameras ( that ive been told ) the staged sheriff vehicles at the entrance any criminal with a an IQ of mustard knows there are no cops around and no one patrolling the levels. This place needs to have a security guard drive up and down constantly from 11pm-6am every night. countless times i would come in and i would see a security guard sitting in their makeshift cop car on his phone with his child running around in his vehicle. or i would come home at 2am and there is NO security around at all. No one should have to worry about their vehicle being broken into. i have a 100,000 suv that i spent 1,000 on a vehicle survellance system in and im beyond paranoid that im going to come down and it will be broken into because i have no faith in the level of security for the residents. If windsor wishes to keep residents they need to step up the luxury part if this continues i will not resign my lease. i will gladly pay somewhere more than i feel comfortable and confident in the Resident safety and Resident amenities that im getting what im paying for.* Clean the hallways* Clean up the trash areas* There are cobwebs literally everywhere.

    I have been living here for about a year and always have positive experiences with getting things handled and taken care of in a prompt manner. Its always clean, parking is spacious and you cant hear your neighbors even next door. Hope to renew at a good rate!

    The management here at Windsor Shepherd are every bit of AMAZING! Very friendly and always willing to go above and beyond to make sure any concerns/issues are taken care of. Bailey, Brandon and Mr.Will were valuable resources for me since they knew I was new to the Houston area. Every time I see them they always check in to see how I am liking my stay thus far! Sooo I guess you can see they have zero complaints from me :)

    Stopped by without an appointment and Denisha found time to give us a tour. She was very friendly and gave us a lot of information about the property. Been shopping for 3 weekends and she was a 5 star 🌟 agent.

    We really enjoy living at Windsor Shepherd! The location is convenient to Buffalo Bayou trails, Whole Foods, many restaurants and bars, and right near I10! The amenities are amazing such as the pool, gym, business room, rental bikes, rooftop lounge, and more! The leasing agents are outstanding, always ready to help! Highly recommend!

    The maintenance team went above and beyond to help us fish the wire through the wall for our wall lights. They completed setting up the wall lights. It was a great surprise for when we got back home from work! We appreciate all the help!

    I’ve lived at Windsor Shepherd for over 2 years now. The staff has been amazing in answering any questions and helping with accommodations. The amenities are amazing and the location is close to everything. I couldn’t have picked a better place to live when I moved to Houston.

    I love this complex and the staff! Great amenities and always well kept!I highly recommend this apartment!My only issue would be that the neighbors above me (oh well, cant pick who lives above you) as they are loud which continually wakes me up in the morning and keeps me up late in the evening.

    Love the apparment. Living on the top floor, so I do not hear any noise from neigboors. The staff is very friendly and efficient. The location is great, there are great places to go on a walking distance. Parking is good, grill area is always clean and in great conditions. There are maintanance people taking care of it every day. Pingpong table always have rackets and ping-pong balls available. The buttefly system is very useful and convenient to let visitors in.The only draw back is that the elevator on the visitior parking cannot be called after 6:00 pm, so I have to go downstairs to let me visitors in. Not a big deal because I am sure that it is something that can be fixed and the visitors would be able to go up using the butterfly system.

    I have been living at this location for 6 months. The location is great, the front office staff is great to work with. The group of guys on the maintenance staff are 5 star. I would absolutely recommend it.
