Management are so friendly and nice and made the entire process so smooth. We’ve been here for a couple of months now and are so comfortable. We had very minor maintenance issues, but they were all resolved within a day or two. Beautiful community and is located perfectly, with everything 10-15 minutes away.

Hector came and my freezer was not working properly. He readjusted the freezer door and gave me a brand new ice maker due to the ice maker not working properly. He then came at the end of the day to check and make sure the ice maker and freezer were working properly.

We recently had an issue with our shower light, there was a leak coming from above and this called for additional personnel and supplies. After Jose completed his initial evaluation, he planned with my husband what day and times would be best for the repair. He communicated effectively and thoroughly throughout the process. After the repair, he had our bathroom/shower/floors professionally cleaned. He ensured everything was completed to our satisfaction. Great follow-up as well (even after a few weeks)! We have stayed at Windsor Preston since 2020 and the maintenance team is a big reason why we stay! Highly recommend! Thank you Jose & the team!

We rented the clubhouse at Windsor Preston and it was the best experience ever. The space is so nice you dont even have to decorate it! Plenty of room and seating! The kitchen area was a perfect fit. The island was able to hold all the food served! All my guest were comfortable and loved it!This was our first time renting the Clubhouse and we will definitely be renting it again!!Thanks so much!!

I’ve been living here for a while and I must say the maintenance crew is outstanding. Whenever I have an issue, they respond quickly and efficiently. They are always courteous and professional, ensuring that everything is in perfect working order. Jose deserves a special shout out as he helped coordinate a major repair in our place this past month and he made sure everything was finished in one day instead of a week. It’s reassuring to know that help is just a phone call away.

I wanted to take a moment to talk about how awesome Jose, our Maintenance Leader, has been since he took over. Before, it used to take a really long time for them to fix my work orders. Had a maintenance issue where our blower went bad and we had no cooling system. Jose and Hector were spectacular in resolving the issue and went above and beyond in purchasing the parts needed to fix it. They were very professional and friendly and also provided a portable AC for us to use in the interim while they got the issue sorted. Really great service from both of them!!

Giving this review for maintenance & Alexsia (Property manager)We had a leak due to the storm this passed week. Maintenance was on it as soon as the leak happened. They were mindful of trying to clean up during repairs and even after. We have a 1 year old so we really appreciated that. We have had some issues with leasing agents but Alexsia always goes above and beyond to try and meet our needs and make sure we are happy residents. Not sure what his name is but he seems like the head of maintenance he made sure our air filter was changed (without asking) as well as noticed we had a damage on our wall plate and replaced that also without us needing to ask. He definitely goes above and beyond in his work and attention to detail which is much appreciated. Overall we are very pleased on how this situation was handled on both of their ends and our during our stay here at Windsor.

I truly love the location aspect as well as it was rare for me to find apartments with no carpet as I’m severely allergic to it. From the time being here before moving out into a house officially, I had some amazing encounters. This place is taken care by Jose and Izzy. It would be nothing without them. They work hard and make sure everything is up to par, and always accommodating to help you. Unfortunately we cannot control other peoples choices living here, but Izzy and Jose always tried their best to make sure you get the best living condition!Also: another review states there are constant fire alarms here, that is false. I never heard it going off 1-2 times every month, so I find it unfair to blame a community by someone who doesn’t even live here.

I have lived at Windsor Preston since April 2022 and have been most impressed with Rodney, the maintenance supervisor. He is so professional, kind and always has a positive attitude. I also want to thank Wilson for his hard work on the property. Every morning as I am leaving for work, I see Wilson. He is picking up trash or whatever and he always greets me with a smile. I appreciate Rodney and Wilson. They are both invaluable to Windsor. Thank you, Rodney and Wilson for your hard work.

I moved in here almost 2 months ago and I absolutely love it. I was already familiar with living at Windsor properties and was excited to move back to this area but try out a different complex close to everything but not right in the center of all the noise.The front office leasing agents are amazing, they respond quickly and answer any questions you have. The maintence guy is always friendly, I see him actively working often or picking up outside and he always seems happy to be doing his job - he quickly gives you a smile/wave! My next door neighbor seems to have the same work schedule as me and is home at the same time but I’ve never heard them so they’re either really quiet or the walls are well insulated lol. The stomping from above is loud but that’s gonna be almost at any apartment.I love living here, the hallways are clean and they use scent to keep it smelling nice, the community center is active with people, everyone seems friendly and I feel safe living here!

I have been living at Windsor Preston since November 2020, I love the community and location. The meeting rooms are private and with high-end decor, the rooms have large windows that bring in a sophisticated atmosphere and natural light. The gym is well equipped and the pool and Bbq area including bike stations are splendid. everything in this building was carefully thought out.I appreciate the staff, Im not familiar with the new staff but “Cassie at Windsor Preston” God bless her. She was there for me at my darkest moment. The maintenance team is faster than a bolt. You place a ticket and in less than 3 hours they are at your doorstep fixing your problems. I appreciate your good customer service and the empathy you have for Tenants.

There are certain good things about the community:-New building-Cleanliness-Near food and shopping options-Near By Movie Options-Overall Really Good location-Maintenance team is very responsive so far-Leasing office staff like Alexia & Cassie are very supportiveFew Areas Which can be considered for review by management-Verification process is cumbersome and not user friendly and lot of system dependencies and no alternate options-Their system is not really flexible to make changes as per users personal details like name etc-Initially there were some miscommunication due to lack of knowledge or understanding of all information about available apartments and fees and rent and process.This is the experience so far, will update as per further living experience.

I have been living in this apartment complex for a couple of months now and I absolutely love it here! Devaughn and Cenorina really helped making my leasing experience super easy and put up with all my questions. When I moved in and met them and Justina and Josh they all are continuing to make my life so much easier and worry free since I have been living here. They are all true professionals and are so helpful in making sure everything we need is taken care of and we are comfortable here. The maintenance staff is amazing! They always take care of me when I need them. The apartment complex is clean and quiet with amazing amenities. The leasing staff always keep us very well informed about what is going on. Moving during a pandemic was hard but knowing I didnt have to worry about the apartment aspect because of the staff here was a huge weight off my shoulders. The residents also have all been very kind and friendly and I look forward to getting to know them more at the resident gatherings that will continue after the pandemic is over! I am definitely going to be a resident for a long time here because I have no reason to look elsewhere.

Thank you to the Maintenance team! Jose and Hector are hard workers, always pleasant with greetings and conversations, and most importantly, fix anything that is needing a repair in the apartment. While all of that is great, I need to call them out for the additional security and safety practices for the community. They went around and checked all entry points and fixed any doors that were having issues (FOB access or just tough doors to open). Separately, they have also been extremely proactive at flagging vehicles on the property that do not belong or vehicles that are for residents and registered visitors only. Jose is leading the charge on the new maintenance team and it is obvious that the team goes above and beyond with answering questions and providing detailed explanation of the repair request. Moved here in July 2022 with my partner who works at Capital One right across the road. Its overall a pretty solid place to live. Our lock wasnt accepting our code day 1 and it was fixed within 24 hours by maintenance.PROS:- Location is great, just be prepared for how difficult Preston Rd is as a whole to navigate during busy hours- Lobby and community areas are always well maintained and clean as far as Ive seen, especially the gym and mail room- Our apartment has had very few issues that require maintenance, and theyve been quick to respond when weve needed them- Communication. Whenever repairs are happening to the building, there is severe weather, etc the office is very good about sending out emails explaining and giving warnings of what may happen (like water turning off potentially to fix a broken pipe)- Parking for residents is very secure. I feel completely safe leaving my car here (coming from a college town that got wheels stolen a lot)- Overall apartment quality is good. No complaints from us on anything theyve provided, appliances, etc.CONS:- Parking garage is TIGHT. Within the first month here I scraped the side of my car trying to leave the garage. Gate requires a sharp turn to get to/from the entrance to the garage and those tunnels are very thin. Beware if you have a large car or truck.- Visitor parking can be very limited, even at weird times. Theres a decent amount of it, but my partner and I have had to park our own cars down there ahead of time to reserve spaces for guests if we know they are coming.- Trash rooms get very dirty at the best of times. Theyre always very sticky and smell awful. Usually not an issue if you use the valet trash, but god do the trash rooms need a deep clean here.- There is a small walking path behind the place, but no real walkable food or anything else but a courthouse and a few drs offices (oh, and Capital One lol)We plan on renewing come April. It has its issues as any apartment will, but none of it has been a dealbreaker for us.

Had a maintenance issue with the AC in my unit, and these days being HOT, the Maintenance dept responded very quickly. Willson Berrios was awesome, not only did he fix the problem but also gave an awesome tip to keep the AC unit running efficiently. Thats great customer service. Living here has been great so far, the management and maintenance team are very professional. They’re good people. Grounds are kept clean. Convenient location too.

I recently moved out of the Winsor Preston to take possession of my new home and wanted to give my appreciation to the staff and community of this complex. The amenities are amazing, the front office personnel is super helpful and the property is always in great shape. Cassy has always been my point of contact and when I was able to get her on the phone she was incredibly helpful. I think she may be the only person I have seen in the office but she always had time to fix any issues I may have pointed out. I wouldnt hesitate to move back in and I may in the future if home ownership is not for me. Thanks again W. Preston!

This has been the best living experience I’ve encountered in my time in an apartment community. The property is clean, the amenities while not 24 hours currently due to covid, are open (unlike my previous place who had nothing open) and the staff is always eager to help. The doors are really cool keyless entry doors that I thought were gonna be weird, but they work really well. My reserve parking space comes in handy since I prefer to park on the first floor and is really affordable unlike other places I’ve lived. The staff recently bought out a food truck and fed the residents. I love my floor plan & would highly recommend Alta 289.

Alta 289 is so great ! We have lived here since august and everyone in the office is super nice and helpful. Any questions or concerns I have are taken care of right away and I never feel forgotten about.In apartments your going to need maintenance no matter what. Most places I have lived, it takes days to get something fixed. So far I don’t have that issue at Alta 289. Paulo took charge in finding someone to fix our lock right away and it was fixed same day. He even followed up with us to make sure everything was still working. Thank you for going above and beyond for us Paulo we really appreciate you and everyone at Alta 289!

I just moved in at Windsor and the customer service is top notch. Alexsia and Zoha went above and beyond to make the moving process as smooth and fast as possible. They were very knowledgeable and answered all of my questions. The community and the apartment is very nice and clean overall. I also submitted couple of maintenance requests for minor issues and they were fixed immediately. Shout out to Alexsia and Zoha for being very attentive!

The overall community is nice. Great place to rent if you have bigger dogs as alot of places dont allow dogs over 20lbs. Since Windsor took over they are working on the amenities and upgrades, the dog wash station is now operational which is great other renovations have been underway so its nice to see them investing in the property. Staff has always been kind and friendly and they do community events, whether its bringing food trucks around, pizza, Chick-fil-A, its nice that they are incorporating these little events into the environment.

I’ve been living here since March! It was a big adjustment moving to Texas from Chicago, during the pandemic. The leasing agents definitely helped me greatly! I’ve directly worked with Cenorina, I love her! She follows through on her questions and request. She also is very friendly and shows concerns on certain issues that may come up. She’s has definitely made my stay here comfortable and she be SHOB LOL! I also have work with DeVaughn, he too always is pleasant. In my experience dealing with him, he makes sure he handles all request in a urgent matter. He also has a professional demeanor and makes me comfortable about my decision living here. I appreciate Justina emails, she’s very direct and helpful as well in the couple times I ask her questions, as well as Josh! As this is a new living Community, I appreciate the urgency in maintenance when I call and they are very professional and nice!! Management is strict and they do enforce rules! Which is super important, the property is beautiful and I get rave reviews from my guest all the time! I’m so glad I call this place home!!!

Great place to live!Pros: Great location, close to a bunch of different places. Amenities are great, love the appliances and bathroom. Great and helpful staff (shoutout to Paulo). Maintenance requests are quick and easy. Definitely feels like luxury/upscale apartments to us.Cons: Walls are a little thin. We’re by the road too so we hear cars but it’s not too bad. Some residents don’t pick up their dogs poop. There’s a pair of unused rooms outside by the pool/pingpong area that needs to be turned into bathrooms or something useful.Overall: Love this place, it’s been good so far.

I wrote about him in my last review. I asked him for some help recently for a small task in my unit and he was there for me in 5 minutes. From the cleanliness of the entire place, the maintenance workers, and most of all the Manager Justina. She’s always been responsive to any questions I have and has always been easy to reach. I would highly recommend this place to anyone in the area. I have 0 complaints and have thoroughly enjoyed my decision to live here.

Im happy to see this community taking a turn for the better since going under new management. Had management not changed the day after I signed a new lease at a different property, we would have stayed.----------I had a negative experience at this property upon move-out.This team knew of my move out since mid-may when I confirmed the end date of my lease with them in person. I visited the office multiple times after that to ask about what I need to repair in my unit, pick up paint, where to park the truck, etc.On my move out date no one was in the office. I went down to the office multiple times, finally waiting 20 minutes down there, and ran into a girl who does leasing. I told her I was moving out (she had no idea) and was asking about how I can do my walk through. She said she didnt know how to do that and was the only person working so she told me to leave my keys and fob in the apartment, send an email, and we would schedule my walk through for Monday. Okay, no worries.Monday came around and Rebecca, the property manager informed me that they dont usually do in person walk throughs and they would send me pictures with any charges associated. Well your employee told me I would be getting a walk through Monday...Going back and forth with Rebecca, she said I could come for a walk through and asked when Im available. I told her 4, she said that was too late so I moved my meetings and said I could come earlier. I got no response for the rest of the day and today she told me I apologize for the delay in response, we already had vendors in there working to make the home ready for the new resident by yesterday afternoon. We will provide you with a full move out inspection if there are any charges associated.So there have been people in the apartment and I havent received anything about the move out inspection? So theyre doing God knows what and then you might decide to charge me for something? Obviously everything was fine because they began the work for someone else to move in.Im incredibly disappointed by the lack of communication, lack of transparency and lack of professionalism. Im concerned I will be charged for something random or be given random pictures from other units. I will be following up my review based on the action taken by corporate. Needless to say, I wouldnt recommend this property.

Unfortunately for her she was the only one there and although she did a great job I didnt lease because the property seems too short staffed. If it was for her alone I would of rented but I just cant see myself living somewhere that is not managed correctly.

Honestly, I never really take the time to write reviews- but after my experience with Rodney at Windsor Preston I just had to! When I say I wish I could adopt Rodney (Maintenance Manager) as a part of my real family- I mean it! What a genuinely nice, helpful, efficient, and pleasant individual. His communication and follow-up skills are just icing on the cake. Rodney took care of a bathtub resurfacing project for us in LESS THAN 24 HOURS after being notified- the previous management company had failed to execute in over TWO WEEKS. Rodney- you are an asset to the community and thank you for taking care of the residents here! Keep up the great work! Nothing but gratitude from us.

One of the best experiences I have had. The apartments are beautiful, the amenities are beyond amazing & the entire leasing staff is incredible. The maitenance is attentive & helpful. I cant thank them enough for their help! Everyone on the staff is kind & compassionate. Renting during a national pandemic can be difficult but choosing Alta289 set all concerns at ease. We’re currently in the process of finding a new home in Plano. Drove around and also looked for good reviews and stumbled upon Alta 289 to be different! But after deciding to check it out and walking inside I quickly changed my opinion. It’s a beautiful establishment with really kind staff. Paulo especially was very helpful and informative. The units were nicely finished and plenty of space. I’d love to come back when the time is right! But if you need a place to call home this is definitely the place and be sure to ask for Paulo he’s awesome!!

I have been a tenant at ALTA 289 since March 2020, shortly after the complex opened. I moved to Plano from Amarillo and needed to find a place quickly as I accepted a job offer and needed to relocate quickly. I was able to move in and then transfer a couple months later to a larger unit once my family moved here. DeVaughn assisted me through the transfer process and was extremely helpful. He has always gone above and beyond our expectations to make our family feel at home and ensure a smooth move-in process. This is an apartment complex and not everything is going to be perfect, no apt complex is. Justina and DeVaughn do an outstanding job making sure your needs are met. They take care of any issues brought to their attention. Huge thanks to DeVaughn and Justina for everything!

I’m searching for my new home out of state and I stumbled upon Alta 289 in Texas. It’s a very nice location in Plano area. Near major retailer stores and plenty of Restaurants to choose from and filled with activities. It’s hard not having eyes in the city you’d like to live in so it’s always good to have someone to help you visualize an area. Paulo was helpful with my search. A very smooth conversation and easy to approach. I’m still in the process of narrowing my choices but, I honestly would recommend speaking with him, a person who can understand your needs and guide you. He was informative and very polite.
