I had a decent time living at this location. Other than my upstairs kids being noisy every single day, the complex itself is quiet. There is only one dedicated handicap parking spot for the building, and it needs to be repainted. I was told that they would post the sign there, and it never happened.

I have been living at this complex for about a little over a year and I have to say this is a wonderful apartment complex. Kirsten is the new leasing manager and recently helped me transfer into a renovated unit and I would have to say the process went very smoothly. Maintenance is always on top of things immediately after a request is sent and the issues never have to be resolved again because they fix it the first time. The complex is very calm and peaceful and a great environment for a family to live in. I have had only very minor issues overall that were fixed rather quickly but I am overall happy with the management team they currently have. My kids love the pool, and we do use the gym often, and they also have events in the leasing office for residents weekly and usually consist of snacks or goodies. I would recommend this complex to others who are looking for an affordable rate in the center of the city. There are so many things to do in rockwall and being in an apartment complex so close to the freeway and shopping centers is definitely a plus. Thank you wilder team.

I loved living here! Kirsten is amazing and always willing to go above and beyond to help. Maintenance is super efficient and friendly, and all our neighbors made us feel like family. Being a military spouse and always moving is hard, but the Wilder apartment community has truly been a blessing. I will miss living here!

Staff and maintenance are great. They respond quickly. Apts need a lot more carpet. Upstairs neighbors are up late walking and moving furniture almost every night. Cooking smells get in my apt also. Mosquito along the back fence eat you alive when your on your patios.

Today I went into Wilder Apartments without a schedule appointment and had my fingers crossed that they would take the time to talk with me. Ive had bad luck finding an apartment due to my moved out date. Kirsten was beyond awesome. She got me a perfect town home Apartments. Which was excatly what I wanted. She is very professional, outgoing which made it very resuring and I felt comfortable. She explained everything within details along with if something goes wrong there was always another way. It was all around a very good experience along with the cleanliness of the leasing office and property. I highly recommend Wilder Apartments based on the staffing itself. Thanks!

This is a great place to live in Rockwall! They must be under new management because the new office manager is a breath of fresh air and so helpful. It seems like they werent so great in the past judging from the reviews but Im glad I gave them a chance. They seem to really care about their tenants and resolve issues quickly. I would definitely recommend these apartments to my friends.

***Long review***I had a great time living in the now Wilder apartments for two years. If I didn’t need to move closer to my new work position, I would have happily renewed my lease.To the prospective tenant looking at this review, here are my observations of the place:Pros – Near two gas stations, some restaurants, Walmart, and other stores. If you’re comfortable with walking a lot, especially up and down hills for Walmart, these locations are within a 2-mile walk. Many other stores, restaurants, and services are within a short driving distance. The apartment is pet friendly. On site staff and maintenance are present at complex.Cons – Older buildings with a little more wear, tear, and settling. Insulation during the winter months could be improved upon. The management is trying to renovate them, and the external renovations were nice. I don’t have any first-hand knowledge on the internal renovations. The price of the apartments can be steep for many in this economy at the time of this review because of location and demand. Prices at the time of this review are at least $1300 for 1 bed 1 bath of 509 sq feet.Other stuff to note:Wilder Staff – Everyone in the front office is kind, courteous, and professional. I never had an issue with maintenance requests not being addressed or fulfilled. Maintenance crew are also kind, courteous, and professional. The front office staff tries to communicate with you via text, email, and portal on any issues that you may need to know of. They will also reply whenever you try to text them or use the messaging feature in their apartment portal/app. Wilder staff also try to organize fun events for the entire community to enjoy.Community – The community is good and peaceful for the most part. Sure, there is an occasional loud car/truck or people talking to each other outside your unit, but it’s an apartment complex. Parents are comfortable with letting their children play outside with other children. I never had a package stolen from my doorstep by porch pirates, and my mailbox at the front of the complex was always secure. My car was never messed with either. On a very rare occasion you may get a door-to-door salesperson to solicit something, but again, that is a rare occurrence.Amenities – Never got around to use the pool or tennis court, but from the looks of it, they are well maintained by maintenance and popular with other residents. The gym has two aerobic machines, a treadmill and recumbent bike, and a weight rack from 5 to 50 lbs. with a weight bench. Gym room is small with a max of 4 people to comfortably fit. There is no dog park at the complex, but plenty of doggy waste disposal sites throughout the apartment.Apartment unit – The unit I was in had the typical wear and tear of an older building, but was very clean when I first moved in. Everything was and still is in working order in my unit. My unit did have ants occasionally in the kitchen and bathroom but are easily handled with cleanliness and bait traps. I had some issue with the hot water in the bathroom sink, but that was resolved with the main boiler being fixed. My unit had a window right next to an outdoor light that would shine into the apartment at night, even with the blinds closed, but it didn’t bother me that much. If it’s something that would bother you, as another reviewer suggested, get blackout curtains.For what it was, I had a positive experience with Wilder Apartments (formerly Canyon Ridge). If you can afford it, I would recommend.

All I have to say is thank you! I’m so happy the I found this place for my parents. Melissa and Kirsten were so helpful but Kirsten was my miracle. She helped me with everything and give me a lot options, explained every details and now my parents have a place to live 🙏🏻 . 💯 in costumer service.

Somewhat renovated, quiet, pet-friendly with adequate pet stations, covered parking, well lit, safe. Attentive office staff who communicate frequently with residents about any community matters. Maintenance staff is competent, friendly, and constantly busy. It is an older complex (1984), but they work to keep it maintained. I am happy here, but due to age and overall property condition rents should not continue to increase!Parking is at a premium and only minimal spots available for visitors with no room to expand. Could definitely use new, more visible building numbers and an additional trash dumpster!

Newly remodeled on the inside! Beautiful stainless steel appliances. Whenever I have an issue, maintenance is always so quick and helpful. The office is quick and always gets the job done. There is a pool, tennis court, and a workout room. The price for having a pet is a bit expensive and some of the buildings outside could use some touch ups. This is a great place to live with friendly people who live there! Everyone has pets and says hello to you! I love living here.

Ive greatly enjoyed living in this complex! Anytime I need help, or I need something fixed I always get the help I need. :)When I first moved here, I used the tennis court, which is wonderful, and in great condition. Havent used the pool yet, but I cant wait to use it!

You will not find a better place than the Wilder apartments and the treatment is very good, but the Mrs. Kirsten is an incredible lady, I have no words to describe her, super professional and incredible person and very polite 🙏🏽
