My husband and I just moved into these apartments after searching endlessly for the right new home. However, we found Westfield and loved the location, price, and layout. Renee and Carla made it a breeze to apply and send it paperwork. They are truly the shining stars of the Westfield staff. Their professionalism, kindness, and prompt response time is excellent. Upon move in, our AC was messed up and reaching 80+ degrees in the evening. Although this issue was initially brushed off by a different staff member, after emailing our complaint to Chris, the property manager, our issue was promptly resolved via a duct cleaning. I do wish the unit we moved in to was much cleaner upon move in, as there was mold in the dishwasher, food crumbs in the fridge, and grease on the cabinets. However, their new maintenance man and Chris were prompt in resolving my issues and have upped their communication game. Since most of these issues have been resolved, I am pleased to recommend Westfield for college students looking for a more mature environment that’s quieter but still local. I look forward to enjoying this quieter side of town 🙂 .

I’ve lived here for 11 months and I’m so happy with everything the complex has to offer.The apartments are super comfortable, you get beautiful natural light through its many windows. Even the smallest apartments have a huge balcony and walk in closet.The complex is so pretty, it has so many green spaces and areas for you to walk your dog and enjoy the sun.The best part though is the office staff, they are AMAZING, they know almost everyone by name, are super friendly and are you always trying to organize activities for the residents. As this town is mainly full of college kids that are alone and friendless, I think this is such an incredible way to help them connect with other residents.Whenever we had a problem they made sure it was fixed on the same day. I’ve heard so many horrible things from other apartments in the area that I’m so glad I chose this place as my home.I’m sure it’s clear already but I completely recommend it!

It really doesn’t get better than this apartment. Between my husband and I, we’ve stayed in so many apartments, but Westfield tops it all.Honestly, the rooms alone and maintenance culture of the apartment merits 5stars.But management makes the experience even better. They are so nice and truly go above and beyond to make this place comfortable and fun for all. They are kind and friendly and have great events and giveaways not only when you sign up but throughout the whole year. They are super responsive and really value tenants. Plus the environment is so calm.We really love it here and highly recommend.We are definitely staying here till we are done with school.

Compared to the other places me and my roommate have lived at in town, and from what Ive seen with my friends apartments, this may be one of the better (if not best) student apartments in town. But heres a rundown-Pros:-Relatively quiet, at most you hear a little road noise and the train once in a while-Nice apartment layouts, at least for the 2x2. Feels more cozy and like a home compared to others.-Parking is easy to find-Pretty decent cost-Right next to a bus stop-Management/Maintenance is actually effective and runs things well! Broken appliances were fixed or replaced from within a day to a week. They seem like genuine people and were always very kind to us.-Pet friendly-Nice kitchensCons (some relative):-The location is a bit of a ways from campus, if youre wanting a quick walk to class its not really an option. Bus comes frequently and consistently though, hasnt been a problem.-Theres no ceiling fan or lights in the unit bedrooms, it hasnt been an issue for us at all and they do notify people about it, weve just used lamps. Just a weird design quirk.-They are older apartments, which some people dont like. We havent noticed any major structural issues, it just shows its age in small ways like sometimes sticky doors, older design, and a few small cosmetic cracks here and there. Appliances are all updated though.-No amenties other than a pool. Ill be honest, we lived at another place with a gym and study room, and other amenities they increased rent for, and never used them or couldnt use them due to being closed. If you need a gym or extras at your apartment, youd look somewhere else, but the presence/lack of hasnt affected us at all. Might as well save on rent.-Unfurnished (for students this can be a con for a number of reasons, not necessarily an issue against the apartment)Overall, a good student apartment, with no serious deal breakers or issues in our experience. Theyve been consistently good, do recommend living here!

I moved in August 1st and Im really pleased with this place. Other apartment complexes have been so disappointing, but this place has been really great. Everyone in the office has been super nice. The apartment I actually live in is actually pretty similar to the example apartment I was shown on the tour (unlike other places). It is also quiet at night (huge plus) and is affordable compared to other 1 bedrooms.Id recommend this apartment complex to anyone. Management is so responsive to maintenance requests.

I absolutely love these apartments. :) Westfield has been by far the best apartment I have stayed at in San Marcos. The staff is always friendly and honest, the maintenance is SUPER FAST and everyone here is so friendly. They’re also very pet friendly which is amazing. Also, they do lots of fun events, it’s not just in the first month either, they’re always doing something for the residents. Little warning, there’s no light fixtures in the bottom floor bedrooms but we made it work. The only reason we’re not renewing is because we’re graduating by the time to move out :( Overall, amazing apartments and super welcoming! :)

Probably the most well run and ethically run apartment complex in town.You submit a repair request and you can get it fixed within an hour. Absolutely wild how great they are.The buildings are old, so that comes with it’s own drawbacks, but the old trees offer lots of shade and the area is relatively safe, especially compared to other local complexes.Very pet friendly as well, in my experience the most “pet friendly” apartment complex in the area, especially for dogs.Lastly, their prices are very competitive. They aren’t delusional with their pricing like the outpost, it’s very reasonable for what you get.All in all it’s the best spot in town if you’re a dog owner

I love living here because the place is quiet and residents respect each other privacy. Also the best thing I love about Westfield is the staffs. The staffs are always friendly and helpful. During my application, they would state think very clearly and consistently check if you have questions or troubles. They replied to email quickly and always response and act in time that I need. Every time, I put in the work order for my maintenance, the guy would show up the next day and if it is emergency he came and helped even though it is Saturday. I am sad that I have to move out to live with my group of friends but I would definitely recommend to others if they want to live in apartment of 2 bedrooms.

I think Westfield is pretty great. The employees at the office are so nice and are very attentive when there’s any problems. There’s plenty of space to take my dogs on a walk and I love that the TXST bus is right in front of the apartments, that was definitely a life saver when I started school.There’s always awesome events going on by the pool and everyone is so friendly! Plus the prices for the rooms are great! We’re so lucky we found this place when we did. Definitely will be staying here for awhile

My partner and I moved in this past August, and we ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT HERE! Our neighbors have become people that we genuinely love talking to. The front office so so kind and so accommodating. Maintenance is so respectful and amazing at what they do. There are always tons of events and giveaways for the residents. I may not be able to participate in everything because of work but just seeing that they do this is so amazing.There was a big storm tonight and we had water coming from the baseboards. (Which was not their fault at all, there was a stand alone puddle outside that seemed to creep it’s way in) I called to put in the request, and not even 5 minutes later I got a call from one of the front office staff to check in on us. At 10:20 pm. The care for the residents is absolutely outstanding. We have only been here for 3 months and we have already renewed. If you are looking in the area, as a student, for a place to live. Please please think of Westfield apartments. There prices are affordable and the service is priceless. Truly an amazing place to live!

Truly have loved living here the past couple of years! It’s the best mix of student living vibes and traditional apartment living. Management is wonderful, and has only gotten better the longer we’ve been here. Maintenance, especially our guy Carlos, is awesome! It’s been a seamless experience living at Westfield Apartments :)

Westfield is definitely one of the best student housing properties in the area! Part of the reason why would be their amazing staff. Their office staff is always super helpful and to say their maintenance staff is too, would be an understatement. Shout out to one of their techs, Jose, for being such an amazing person and great help! His hard work definitely does not go unseen. He’s also super handsome so that’s a plus hehe.

The rates at this apartment are very manageable and they allow double occupancy, so I really like that. If Ive ever had any issues I know the office will answer my call with no problems. Where do I even start? I’ve lived here five years while working through grad school. The front office staff is so nice and friendly, maintenance is always ready to help when needed too! Yvette and Carlos are two of the most caring people I’ve had the pleasure to work with. They are always on top of their game, very detail oriented you can tell they really love their job! Would highly recommend! Every staff member that I interacted with is super helpful and great at their job. My apartment is exactly what I want and the maintenance is very attentive to any work orders. The internet has had 0 issues which was always my main concern. When it comes to apartments in San Marcos this place is a hidden gem! It doesn’t get much better, the women in the office are incredible at what they do and the maintenance team is superb. Whenever you put a work order in they come that same day and fix what you need! They are knowledgeable and professional. Me and my girlfriend renewed our lease and look forward to living here the next couple years!

This isn’t going to be a long review. I just wanted to say how amazing this apartment complex is. They are always on point when it comes to maintenance and always do it so quickly. They are very affordable and in a good location near food and grocery stores. It is a student housing but don’t really feel like a student housing and that’s also what I love. I just moved to San Marcos almost 3 yrs ago and this was my first apartment and I’m just so glad I picked this one. It has been just an amazing experience. The staff and office is always doing great things for us residents and helping us out a lot daily.I recommend this place for anyone trying to find somewhere to stay in San Marcos!Thank you Westfield!!

By far the best place I lived in my three years in San Marcos, the apartments are well-managed and maintenance requests were responded to quickly. The community is a manageable size with plenty of parking and a great pool.The office staff are all excellent and put on plenty of events with free food, but special shout out to Shaianne for her help during the leasing process. My daughter is a student at the university and a resident of Westfield in San Marcos. The entire experience has been outstanding. The application/co-signing process was seamless and all questions were addressed by the leasing office. The staff in the office were very helpful with all our questions and made our decision to lease here an easy one. The leasing agents are the best I’ve ever dealt with and we are so happy to call this place home away from home for our daughter. The maintenance staff are also very attentive and able to resolve any issues in a timely manner! I highly ESI apartments!

I have lived here since summer of 2019 and I truly have loved it the entire time. I have rarely ever had maintenance issues but when I have in the past they have always been handled swiftly. I had my A/C stop working one night and they had it fixed by the next afternoon. The smallest 1 bedroom floor plan is the perfect size for 1 person. I unfortunately am having to move out finally for a job I got that is too far away but the leasing office has been super flexible with me.

I’ve been living at Westfield for over two years and I love it. I’ve been in both two and one bedroom plans and the only way I’ll move, is into a bigger one bedroom here. The office staff is something else, always so helpful and attentive. Granted this is the first apartment complex I’ve been at, but after hearing horror stories from friends, other places only makes Westfield feel more like home. I’ve had friends come and live here and maintenance is always on it and the office is calling to make sure we got what we needed.

Best staff ever, best deals on very comfortable, very cute, fully equipped, exceedingly functional apartments.Firstly, in my years of being a tenant at a few different apartment complexes, I know that having a front office that actually has your back, supports your needs without doubting the validity of them is an invaluable attribute. It both speaks to the organization of office and the character of its people. In Westfield apartments case, they have both in spades, without a doubt. They are all of extremely nice people, sincere ones and always willing to give their tenants the time of day. I cant speak more highly about them and if you find yourself renting from Westfield apartments you will surely be saying these things yourself soon enough.The apartment complex itself is a very chill and reserved one. It houses students, the majority of which have a very welcoming and mature disposition. In my two years here Ive hardly ever awoken to the sounds of loud students peeling out in their cars in front of the apartments or the shuffling of drunken ones making their way through breezeways without care for their neighbors - another invaluable attribute of the complex for those of us whos days depend on a good nights sleep. To my knowledge there have never been any criminal incidents to speak of while Ive been here either. No melodramatic meltdowns or stove-top initiated apartment fires either, which is just another one of the many pleasantly dissimilar differences between Westfield Apartments and other complexes. Highest marks here too.The apartments themselves are very, very cute, fully equipped, spacious and fit all the needs of both the single person and the those who live with roommates. Ive lived in both situations here and can honestly say that Ive had little to no issue with either apartment in either living situation and have enjoyed my time here thoroughly. The apartments are a little older, but definitely newer then some apartment complexes found in San Marcos. Despite that fact, there are little problems to speak of surrounding that, and the apartments themselves are better than most around town. They have been remodeled with new countertops and very modern looking appliances, the fridges, stoves, microwaves, and else. If you live downstairs the apartments have hardwood floors in the singles, and in the doubles hardwood floors in the living area, carpet in the bedrooms. Rest assure though, carpets are replaced for new renters here, touchups provided to the walls and bathrooms as one would expect. Very clean, very comfortable, and again, very cute.All in all Id say Westfield apartments is what most apartments complexes strive to be, yet mostly fail to achieve: Renter assistance and customer service beyond want, apartments that provide its tenants with all of our needs, nice, thoughtful and comfortable surroundings in its beautiful, tall trees, good people, and, its quaint and homely, brick and wood panel styled apartments.Highly recommend, without question.

I’ve lived here since 2017 and LOVE being apart of the Westfield community! I moved from the valley to San Marcos unsure of how I would like the city and whether or not I would feel at home here. I love where I live and I couldn’t be happier with my choice! The staff always greets you with a smile and they really do care about their residents. They go the extra mile by constantly throwing events, doing giveaways, and communicating with us! I can always guarantee on something fun going on here and have quickly made friends with everyone in the front office. If you go to Texas State for the beautiful campus and scenery, you will fall in love with this complex. With so many trees, it’s such a hidden gem here in town. Plus it’s located right on the bus stop which saves me from spending on a parking permit!

Had a wonderful tour of the apartments.Very informative about ideal floor plans for my goals and budget.Being tall, I love the 6 ft pool feature.Also, totally appreciate the printers and computers available in the office for last minute student needs.Super close to campus and bus stop right across the street makes it easier to not have to struggle to find parking close to the buildings.Not to mention, literally a skip and hop away from Loli’s Cafe and Shipleys 🥴❤️

I only lived here a year because I graduated. Super lowkey but close enough to campus so I could leave 15 minutes before my classes started and make it in plenty of time (most of my classes were in Derrick). The only reason I gave it 4 stars was because my apartment would literally be 80+ degrees from ~2pm - midnight everyday during the summer months. I had maintenance come out when I first moved in and he recommended I keep it dark and said it was due to being on the 2nd floor. They didnt add crazy move out fees like my previous apartments and didnt really do inspections, so I felt so unbothered. The complex power washed the balconies, trimmed the trees regularly, and repainted lines, so I felt they were always trying to make improvements despite it looking kinda ugly on the outside.

People have overlooked this place because the exterior isnt modernized to look fancy. However, this place has what majority of apartment complexes in the area dont: people who make this place feel like home. The maintenance staff works extremely hard and despite their workload will show everyone great care. The office staff is unbelievable. They make it their goal to know everyone by name. They also always show they care. When most places advertise taco tuesday they give out self-care products for free because they genuinely care about the mental health of residents. If I could do it all over again I would have never stayed at places like the Cottages and would have just lived at Westfield during my time here in San Marcos.

I think I might just be the longest standing resident at Westfield. I have to say that I have seen a lot of changes over the years...Many management teams have come and gone. All in all, the current management has been making steady improvements; more than I have ever seen from any of the previous teams combined. This team has always been kind, efficient, and willing to help. They also are working on ways to improve the buildings and grounds, they have streamlined the maintenance request system and turn around/wait time on maintenance issues, and they have recently improved the laundry facilities. Westfield is also conveniently located along one of the Bobcat Tram Lines, so commuting to and from the university is quite easy.Westfield has come a long way in the 5 years that I have lived here. All 4 of the stars go to the people that currently manage Westfield and that work hard everyday to make me feel at home...the missing star (although if I could I would make it a half star) acknowledges that yes, Westfield does have some infrastructure issues. It is an older facility, which means that on occasion things break or get worn. So far, nothing a maintenance request hasnt fixed for me...combined with some patience and a kind and gentle request for action.

The management is kind, quick, and knowledgeable.I had very few issues through out my lease, but when I did the maintenance came out the same day and it never took longer that a few days to fix.They also made accommodations for me in the model when my power had gone out.I would definitely recommend renting here.

Great place and location the staff was really helpful and work with you with payments if you plan on being late. They do events every so often and let the community know so if youd like to join you can. My only complaint so far is when i went almost a whole week around june 2020 in an apartment 90+ degrees and it took them a while to get back and fix it. Starting with a window unit when they finally ordered the part.Other then that they have been awesome with me.

Westfield is in my opinion the best place to live in San Marcos for the price you pay. I’ve lived in the same unit for the last 2 going on 3 years. Although I’ve had a few issues, they’ve always been resolved in a timely manner, and the maintenance and office staff are always so friendly and helpful.Over the last couple years, all of the units have received multiple renovations, including new appliances (oven, refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave), toilets, shower heads and now completely new cabinets, countertops, sinks, garbage disposal, thermostat, and more. Since I live in a single bedroom apartment, I do not have a washer or dryer in my unit, but the laundry facility in my building has recently been renovated as well, so it’s not too much of an inconvenience.Another upside is the free parking, and the peace of mind knowing that the area nearby is safe. The apartments are walking distance to a TXST bus stop, and also conveniently located near the highway.Overall, Westfield is a great place to live for TXST students!

Lived at Westfield back in 2003 as a college student and had a great experience. Now as a licensed real estate agent I lease Westfield and other similar apartments to local renters. From an agents perspective, I have nothing but positive things to say about the property and its staff. The property is clean, affordable and well managed/maintained. Props to Nicole, Patty, Yvette, Jennifer, Adrian and Sunny for doing a damn fine job. Highly recommend.

This place is super cute and chill. I love the area because its far enough from campus that you dont have to deal with a bunch of bs college kids everywhere, but also close enough to join in on that bs. The complex is on a shuttle route so it saves on gas and time looking for parking. The staff here is friendly and usually gets maintenance done fast and efficiently. The community is small enough for them to know their residents too so being here is pretty comfortable(^:

Great property with awesome neighbors, and a pool to cool you off in the Texas heat. This is a perfect community if you want a quick walk/trip to great restaurants and outdoor space. The staff is incredibly helpful. I wish more places like this existed. The place is a little old but Ms.Beckerman and he staff has been quick to handle any issues. Couldn’t be happier!

I LOVE this property. It’s super close to campus and downtown SM. I enjoy the small community feel that allows staff to really get to know residents. Maintenance works efficiently and safely. Pricing is great for the location and size. I always recommend this place when I know a student is in need of housing. Come check this place out!

Apartments are nice. Maintenance is great. Staff is great. The only issue is the laundromat. Half the time the app doesn’t work and when it does only a few dryers connect to it so doing laundry is a awful hassle. Other than that it’s a great complex!

Westfield is a great place to live in San Marcos. Very quiet and is very close to campus. The staff is always on top of any issues that come up. Would recommend giving them a look if you need a place in San Marcos.
