Although I cannot give a review about my experience living at the Waters Edge Apartments, I can give Christa major props! She was very attentive and helpful beginning with my first phone call to the office through making our final decision. After calling several properties she was one out of several that actually answered the phone to offer in-person assistance. She was informative, professional, and accommodating to our needs in scheduling a tour and through follow-up questions and procedures thereafter. Thank you, Christa!

Lived here over a year now, about to go sign for another year. Prompt maintenance responses. The girls in the office are super helpful. Theres always some sort of food truck & 9 out of 10 times its delicious. One of the things we love the most about these apartments is that its all bills paid, including electricity, internet & our unit came with a washer and dryer. The ONLY negative thing is the parking situation, we have a reserved spot but its very narrow and a hassle. Otherwise we are very happy with these apartments. 9.999/10

But the second day living here we were able to get stuff that would have been about a thousand dollars coming from our pocket. I decided on a life change, and moved to Corpus Christie. I had no place to go, until my guardian angels Brittany and Janette stepped in and saved me, and offered me an apartment.I have never been so grateful for anything in my entire life. I started crying. I am doing the same as I write this.This has been such a blessing, and it gives me a hope of a new beginning. I didnt realize how difficult it was not having an address. My spouse and I have a been residents here for 5 almost 6 years now. We wouldn’t stay here if we didn’t feel appreciated, listened to, or comfortable for this long. Yes, they’ve had different owners over the past couple of years but the staff that’s running the place right now is AMAZING! From the office crew, (Eloisa, Nicky and Casey), maintenance, (Tony, Kyle, Eddie and Rick), to Ms. Hopie who tends to housekeeping. They’re all so friendly and professional when it comes to issues that need to be met, and friendly just by passing by! Eloisa and Nicky make sure my work orders are in fact in order and completed by a great maintenance team in a quick timely manner. Thank you again Eloisa for bringing over that filter when I couldn’t make it on time to pick up myself! Never forgot that! Casey is always professional over the phone and makes sure our lease info, and payments are complete. Tony is always super friendly while doing his repairs. Kyle is always updating us with what will need to be done in order to complete our work orders and finishes his tasks while also being considerate to any mess, if any, that’s made during work orders. And I always see Ms. Hopie hustling all over the complex to make sure the units are in pristine shape for new occupants. All in all, we love living here and the staff is a plus! I understand not everyone had/have the same experience, which is unfortunate or issues some come up beyond some people’s control, but I feel this team really tries to meet in the middle or completely resolve any issues by delegating or handling in person themselves, rather than staying behind their desk and making phone calls and waiting for maintenance to resolve. And on a personal level, I love how everyone is so considerate during while we’re expecting! From gifts being brought over on behalf of everyone there at the office, to completing last minute work orders before our little one makes her arrival. I’ve never heard of an apartment complex doing that for an occupant. Friends and family are truly jealous! And their community events are above and beyond! Thank you to everyone there for all their hard work and dedication to their residents! We really appreciate it all! Photos added from our pregnancy announcement right after the deck was built! We love how it came out, and stop there any chance we get to enjoy the views!

Current resident here:I recently went to renew my lease and there was an issue with the automated system. The system charged me a late re-signing fee that is normally charged if a tenant does not sign a new lease agreement before the renewal deadline, however, I had signed my new lease before the deadline.I pointed out this issue to Janette, seeking clarification on whether I had perhaps overlooked some of the fine print on the lease agreement. She said this was indeed an invalid charge and promptly submitted a trouble ticket to have the fee reversed. Today, I received my statement for next months rent, and the amount of the fee has been deducted from my bill. Thank you Janette!

I have been here for a few years now, and recently decided to transfer to a larger apartment. When my move-in date had to be pushed back, instead of making me wait, they found another unit for me to move into earlier. This made me feel very valued as a resident and it’s proof that service is of high priority to them. Janette was awesome, as was the other property manager (whose name I am blanking on, sorry!). They made everything super easy and made me feel valued as a resident AND a person. Thank you!

I worked with Camryn and she was fantastic! She was friendly, prompt, and professional, and got me the apartment that I wanted in a really quick time frame. I cannot recommend her enough! I love this facility and its access to the Oso Bay. I have been in my apartment for six days now, have met several other tenants - all have been very nice. I work long / strange hours and I feel safe coming and going at night, and parking has been very easy. Again, highly recommended!!

The managers have been nice and maintenance has promptly responded to our concerns. Camryn helped us move in and she was amazing. We haven’t had any major issues. I will say this: If you’re looking for a quiet place to rent this isn’t it. There are kids running around everywhere, screaming at the top of their lungs until 10-11 pm sometimes. They need to invest in a play area for the kids at this complex.

Over the course of a few weeks while searching for a new place, I viewed and or applied for several different apartment complexes in Corpus and was always disappointed with what I saw compared to what was advertised. Then I found Waters Edge. From start to finish I was assisted by their leasing specialist, Camryn Rivera, who was so friendly, so professional, and very accommodating. Her friendliness was only surpassed by her knowledge of Waters Edge and application process; in addition to her stellar organizational skills. She kept me informed with regard to the status of my unit all throughout the approval and signing process. My initial apartment was not ready on move in date due to plumbing issues, but Camryn quickly informed me and already had other comparable units available to choose from for the same day move-in. I very much appreciated Camryns honesty and her immediate willingness to find me another unit to my liking. She was completely successful in all her efforts. The apartment complex is very well kept and maintained and offers pretty much everything as far as amenities go. It is conveniently located by the bay, close to stores, and the naval base. I am very happy with my choice. Thank You Camryn for all your help!

Nikki has been so much help with the process of moving. She’s very informative, nice, and supportive. She takes pride in her work and that isn’t something you see often anymore. The apartments itself are also excellent. The apartments exterior is very clean. There are no potholes (which is amazing considering the city were in). The inside is very well kept. There is no problem with caulking, mold or even the carpet. The maintenance guys are also very nice (also rare). It is very much worth the price

I have lived here with my kids since early September 2020 - at move in I was a little concerned with how many maintenance issues were already apparent (water damage to several walls, rotting wood/baseboard in bedroom, leaking shower faucet etc), and when I raised concerns to the office staff, they were always sympathetic, supportive and kind, but were unable to help with some things due to the owners not allowing them to spend the money to fix the issues.NOW... now that the complex is under new ownership, it is INSANE how many great changes the complex is going through.I know I can trust that when I call Candice at the office, she will be kind, empathetic, supportive, and dedicated to help make the changes I need for my kids and I to truly enjoy our stay here. She has already helped me with countless issues, from the move in process to replacing my sink and fridge. Candice is the gem of this complex, and her work ethics should be acknowledged by the owners!!Marsha helped me immensely with a few concerns, and was very kind as well. She responded quickly and called me back personally to let me know the outcome.Tony is so sweet and kind every time he comes to help with a maintenance concern. When I was concerned with the complex having new owners and what that entailed, he took the time to explain how great the change is going to be and how it will benefit the community.Overall, I have been very pleased with how the office staff has handled my concerns and maintenance needs. I know in the future, that when I need help with something, that I can trust them to do everything in their power to help and make it happen - without the old owners holding them back, budget wise, I am confident in the progress this community is going through!To the Waters edge staff, thank you for everything.

I have absolutely loved living here at Waters Edge! Everyone in the office has been super friendly since the beginning. They’ve hosted pool parties and offered holiday snacks and events to bring everyone together. Whenever I’ve needed work done in my apartment, the problem is solved right away or within 24-48 hours. The property manager, Eloisa, has been especially helpful with all my needs and is very personable. Last time I brought my dog in she gave him some treats and pets! I’ve been having a hard time lately and she’s always ready and willing to assist with a smile. Thanks to all of you at Waters Edge for your best efforts in making this a great place to call home!

Waters Edge Apartments recently went under new ownership. The renovation and landscaping of the Apartment Community is refreshing.. the appearance is updated.. landscaping is gorgeous, walking trail near the water, a deck was built near the walking trail area, and a doggy park.Been here for almost 3yrs and within the last 4 months so many changes -positive changes have happened to this complex.Maintenance staff is one of the most noticeable changes. Request a work order and maintenance is quick to fix the issue and go above and beyond and answer all questions . They even clean up after themselves. Great!!! Office staff is just as great.. Manager is quick to respond to emails and calls and always is delighted to answer all questions and concerns. I chose this complex because of the rent to square foot ratio as well as the distance to and from work. I love that WE really cares about their tenants. Eloisa is always looking for new ideas to show her appreciation whether it be prepaid food trucks, holiday gatherings, contests, summer bashes and/or raffle drawings. A little bit goes a long way. I just recently moved into the complex about 2 months ago, I havent had any issues other than the landscapers clipping my a/c thermostat. Even at that, Candice was on top of it the second I called the front office. Everyone around seems to be kind and respectful. My balcony view is to die for and the price is very very reasonable for the footage. Only slight complain I could possibly have would be the parking arrangements. I think parking should be assigned for residents at least, with the amount of vehicles they have registered on the lease. But for the most part I love living here, and Id recommend others to live here as well.

I lived here for a little over 7 months. I had to suddenly break my lease because I got into an apartment I was needing and I had just renewed. The ladies in the office, Audry and Paula, worked with me and were very supportive. I didnt receive any negativity upon telling them. Instead they were happy for me and allowed me to work out a payment plan for the fee I accrued for breaking the lease. Life there was kind of up and down. The downside was the AC issues, it never seemed to keep up with this heat regardless what was done to remedy it. The plugs were not great as anything plugged in would slip right out, some switches didnt work. I didnt put these on my walkthrough sheet as it wasnt noticed right away. I never called those in because it didnt really bother me so much. On the other hand it was peaceful, minus my downstairs neighbors who slammed doors at all hours. The location is great and the pools are fun. The office staff was kind. I would stay there again if I had to do it over. I know the ladies are trying to make more changes to make this a greater place to live and I have no doubt they will succeed.

I enjoy living here. The proximity to the water is great; it makes for nice sunrises and sunsets. Fishing is slow but you can catch a trout here or a red there. (I hear there are plans for a pier sometime.) It’s nice. Paula, Audrey, and Deshay or Deshae (however her mom spelled it) are extremely nice and helpful and committed to cleaning up this complex that still bears the scars from Harvey. Barb and Vic are always around the complex too, and are busy helping make this place better. It’s EXTREMELY pet friendly and my dogs are greeted with an emphatic welcome every time they stroll into the office. COFFEE EVERY MORNING AND TACOS ON FRIDAY!

I’ve lived at waters edge about 6 months now and I have zero complaints I really like living here it’s very quiet and I have very few Maitnence issues and when I do I speak to Candice and she gets things taken care of in a timely manner , she’s always really nice and professional as is everyone I’ve talked to in the office. I would Recommend waters edge.
