I’ve lived here almost 2 years now. I love it. A great, quiet space for me and my cat. It’s very close to the square which is awesome. The staff is great and I’ve never had any issues with needing maintenance. Any problem that could occur is fixed quickly. I am very happy to call this place home -

Nice service by the staff but the only concern is that because of the location there a lot of cockroaches. Also, the vents are kind of connected which makes your house smell when your neighbor is cooking. Overall, nice location to live if youre a student. -

The staff is very friendly and helpful. They always answer the phone. Megan, the manager, responds to questions quickly. The maintenance person, Sal, is amazing. Upon move in, he was readily available to fix any concerns with the apartment. He even helped us move a piece of furniture upstairs - quality service.Good space for the money. -

Overall, this apartment wasn’t the greatest, but what do you expect when you’re getting to pay such cheap prices. It’s old, so there’s some maintenance issues, but I did want to give a shout out to the Maintenance man Sal because he is amazing! He always resolves my maintenance issues in quick and professional manner. He takes pride in his work and will always smile and wave to you if he sees you around. Nicest guy ever. -

I’ve lived at this property for two lease terms going on three and my experience has been nothing but positive. Rent is reasonable, maintenance staff is quick and responsive, and the manager and her staff are friendly, professional, and responsive. Cheers to my third year at the property! -

I have lived at Eagle Creek since May 2015 and I have had the most pleasant experience. Maintenance is always super fast and understanding, there is even an emergency maintenance number you can call late at night. The pool is usually always clean and never super busy. I have had some problematic encounters with a few of the residents, but once I talked to the office, they were taken care of immediately. The dog park is a huge bonus, it is a great place for dogs and their owners to set up play dates. The Verizon/Frontier internet that is INCLUDED in rent is awesome, I have never had a problem with it and you get your own router. You only pay for electricity, and my highest bill was $72 and thats because there are 2 people in this apartment and I cook, do laundry, and keep my apartment cool all the time! I never feel uneasy at this complex. I always feel safe walking back home from school at night. The office staff is super friendly, they make you feel right at home and they want you to have the most pleasant experience possible. I love my neighbors, they are all so nice and I trust them. I have kept numerous items on my porch and none of them have ever been stolen! That is hard to find at apartment complexes nowadays.Overall, I love this complex and I am glad I renewed my lease here! -

Ive lived here for a year now and absolutely LOVE it! All of my neighbors are really kind and considerate and have the cutest pets. The leasing and maintenance staff are also extremely friendly and helpful. When I first moved in, one of my cats got stuck behind my washer/dryer (which came with the apartment!), and the maintenance guys came right over to help me save him! In addition to the staff being great, Ive found that the size of the larger apartment is perfect for one person and two pets. Its a very cozy and relaxing environment for me to come home to! Plus before I moved in, they let me choose whether I wanted the walls to be grey or white, so that was really nice! Im also a huge fan of the pool being open year round, especially with Texas staying warm for so long. -
Review 8 (2020-09-20 - Rating: 5)
I moved here right before Covid hit and I’m SO GLAD I DID! It’s been a safe and clean nest for myself and my dogs! Despite Covid staff has been available and HARD AT WORK! The dog park has had fresh new mulch put in And that’s great for when it rains and for my pups paws! The dog park is always clean and stocked with bags for clean up! I see workers cleaning every morning bright and early and it SHOWS! And it’s very well lit at night. There have also been flowers planted by the pool which is really nice touch! There are always events for the residents and staff is friendly and helpful! I recommend living here if you are between the college life and being a real adult this place will facilitate your needs! -
Review 9 (2017-03-02 - Rating: 5)
I just resigned my lease at Eagle Creek. I love these apartments!!! Best unit Ive ever had. Very spacious one bedroom apartment, came with a brand new washer and dryer, and a fridge and dishwasher in perfect condition. The wood floors are super nice and the color of the walls makes the apartment feel very contemporary. My unit came very clean, Im assuming the tenant before me kept it very nice, because Ive never had an issue with bugs or anything. Its very close to campus, I bike everyday and it takes me around 10 minutes to get to my furthest class. On eagle drive they recently added a bike lane, which makes the ride to campus quick and breezy. I havent used the pool yet but Im looking forward to the summer and the next year here! I feel very safe in this community (although i wish it was gated off from the Rapido), and all my neighbors have been friendly. People are out walking their dogs all the time so it feels like a little community. Any time i have guests there is plenty of visitor parking which is a major plus. I chose to resign because I dont think I could get this lucky with this nice of a unit for this price in denton!!! -

Eagle creek is the best living space I could ever have. Maintenance is spot on every time, friendly, and genuinely care about our quality of life. The office staff are just wonderful. Every time I see them, I get a friendly wave and they ask how I am with genuinely care. The apartment itself is adorable, easy to care for, and feels so safe. I love the amenities and community. Eagle creek 100% feels like home. -
Review 11 (2020-07-01 - Rating: 4)
I’ve lived at University View (formally Eagle Creek) for two years. I have had a pleasant experience and can’t say much that’s bad. A free washer/dryer, water, and internet is an incredible deal. It’s walking distance from UNT so you save hundreds on parking (or you can take the bus that stops right in front of the complex). I see reviews about cockroach problems but throughout my 2 years, I’ve only seen a single one (though he was quite huge). I called the office and they had pest control out the next day. And the maintenance guys are awesome!! They are quick, informative, and just all around helpful. I’ve dealt with some funky smoke smells coming through my apartment from my lovely neighbors, but I diffuse oils and bought a dehumidifier, so it helps with the musty smell that comes with living in an old apartment. Living next to the pool/guest parking lot makes it quite noisy but it’s not terrible. It’s not the best area (is any area of Denton THAT nice?), so I try not to walk outside at night, but I never felt truly unsafe inside my apartment. It’s not perfect but it’s nice. And while it’s not the best looking complex on the outside, I always surprised my friends with how well I decorated my place – it is what you make of it! (The pool/hot tub is very nice though)I recommend University View based on my personal experience! -

I love this apartment complex so much! My husband and I are both college students at UNT and we live here in the 650 ft apartment. We have never had any issues and the leasing staff has been so supportive and nice to us. We had a baby and I felt like the leasing staff and management were our friends all through my pregnancy and the birth of my son! One time I was worried about my husband and one of the leasing staff checked to make sure he was home for me. Best complex ever. Seriously.I feel very safe raising a baby here. -
Review 13 (2022-06-03 - Rating: 4)
Perfect college apartment! If you are looking for something small, simple, and affordable this is the place for you. The complex is very convenient located right next to UNT, Fry Street, and The Square. Campus was only about a 15 minute walk. Staff was always very friendly and helpful. They even have a text messaging system where they would always respond. The internet that was provided was honestly the best Ive ever had, just your typical installation which took almost a week. I only had two cons living here. There was a bad gnat issue in my unit. No matter what I did I could not get rid of them and I tried everything. They only came around when it was above 75 outside. My other issue was my unit was filled with black hair when I moved in. Other than that the unit was nice and furnished and perfect use for my college experience. -
Review 14 (2020-12-01 - Rating: 5)
University View is one of the best complexes I have lived in. The staff in the office is amazing, and always super helpful. The management is great, and quick to solve any problems. They all work hard to get things done. I love that they have a dog park right here as well as the gym that’s open 24/7. As well as following the CDC guidelines to COVID. I’m glad to have the opportunity to live here. Any time something is wrong in my apartment, maintenance is quick to answer. I even like the pest control. It’s nice to have it included, along with internet. Yes, the apartments are a little old, but that’s just how it is. The neighbors are fairly nice and quiet for the most part. I’m very happy to live here. -
Review 15 (2016-05-17 - Rating: 5)
Eagle Creek Apartments has been a great place to live. The grounds are kept up very well and the apartment themselves are in great condition when you move in! The very few issues I have had were taken care as soon as possible! I have been treated great by everyone. -
Review 16 (2019-07-23 - Rating: 5)
After having a lackluster roommate experience, I was in desperate search for a one-bedroom and Eagle Creek has been my saving grace. It is a reasonable price for a one-bedroom, especially having your water & wi-fi included. I don’t have an animal, but I love seeing all the pets around and it seems to be a great place for dog owners (and I’ve never had an annoying noise complaints about people or pets). There are really great amenities as everyone states. Overall, I think with proximity to campus (there is also a bus stop in front of the complex) and the full package, you can’t beat living at E.C. -
Review 17 (2014-08-29 - Rating: 5)
I have been living here for 1 1/2 years and I LOVE everything about Eagle Creek since the new management company took over. There is a VERY high level of resident satisfaction, and when helpful suggestions are made to management, they do their best to make them happen. The pool and hot tub are INCREDIBLE, and there is even a tanning bed readily available for the residents to use in the fitness center. Just about every month they host some sort of get together for the residents, and they even send Facebook updates regularly with offers for food or drinks from sonic, etc. The maintenance staff is quick to respond in case of emergencies, and the office staff are all animal lovers, so your pets will love it here as much as you do!! There is even a neighborly vibe that would make Mister Rogers feel at home. And no, Im not an employee (though I would like to be). I am just a REALLY satisfied resident that just renewed my lease again to lock in a great renewal rate for another 1 1/2 yrs. -
Review 18 (2016-07-25 - Rating: 5)
Ive lived here for two years during graduate school. Its a great community at Eagle Creek. The staff are always super helpful and respond to issues that I have within a few hours! I love that they are super pet friendly and host events for my dogs to play with the other dogs in the complex. I would still be living here if I wasnt moving back home. -
Review 19 (2019-07-22 - Rating: 5)
These apartments are AMAZING! They always have something going on. I get a text on my phone for all the events that the staff host at our amazing pool. By far my favorite place to live. Not to mention the no breed restrictions!! That’s the best part if you have a pitbull like me! Sincerely apt. 24 -
Review 20 (2019-08-24 - Rating: 5)
I moved my son into these apartments for school this year, he is a sophomore at UNT. First of all, and probably most important, the leasing staff is AMAZING. I have lived in several apartments and nothing compares. Attentive, sweet, kind, amazing, set my mind at ease, for a Mom, you cant put a price on that. The apartments are very nice themselves, keep in mind the property is older BUT they keep all units very nice and well maintained. Move in was easy peasy, and the apartment was incredibly clean. I visited my son this weekend and I was so happy to see him adapted and feel like home away from home. Thank you so much for this opportunity and giving my son a good home. We have seen a few apartments in Denton, this one by far is the best! -
Review 21 (2014-02-27 - Rating: 5)
Great staff: they are very kind and very helpful and always there when I need them. Great neighbors: I havent met someone that isnt nice! Awesome amenities: washer/dryer, concrete floors, everything except electricity is included, and I get to live alone with my dog, not to mention it is quite close to the UNT campus! No complaints thus far. -
Review 22 (2019-06-06 - Rating: 5)
So pleased with the staff and the overall quality so far at these apartments! The staff seemed sincere and honest when I ask questions regarding any apartment issues. I honestly would say that the Joplin and Morrison floor plans are too small for my liking (450 Sq. Ft) but the price is pretty reasonable here in Denton. For a hundred dollars more a month you can get the Hendrix floor plan (650 Sq. Ft) which comes with a patio and study area and normal size appliances! Application process was simple, and though there was an issue on my Guarantors application, the staff helped me through and I got approved instantly after the problem was fixed! Plus they are doing a MASSIVE incentive right now if you sign for the fall that will save you $$$ in the long run. Me and my cat cant wait to move into our new home! -
Review 23 (2016-05-19 - Rating: 5)
I lived here for 2 years in my 1 bedroom apartment (The Hendrix floor plan if you look it up on the website) and would have stayed longer if my circumstances allowed for it. I really enjoyed living so close to UNT since it allowed me to walk to all of my classes and was also a short walk to the hangout spots at Fry Street. The staff are genuinely friendly and actually want to help the residents instead of just seeing us as a rent check every month, they listen to all of your concerns and legitimately do everything they can to address them. They strive to make your living experience at the apartments as enjoyable as possible and constantly host events with free food that offers a chance for the residents to mingle with the staff and other residents. The amenities are great as well, the pool is very nice and large enough for everyone to enjoy, and there are propane grills beside the pool that residents can use for free. They have a nice little gym above the office for residents to use when you don’t feel like driving/walking to the UNT gym, and they have a dog park for those who want to let their dogs off the leash and mingle with other dogs/residents. The apartment comes with a washer/dryer (no walking/driving to do laundry), fridge, and an electric oven. It is quite spacious for a single person as well and even has enough room for a boyfriend/girlfriend (my girlfriend and I lived here together for the entire 2 years). In the bedroom I have a queen size bed, 3 dressers, the amazon basics double hanging clothes rack, the amazon basics standing 50 pairs of shoes rack, in the living room a 2 person reclining loveseat, a standing book case, a standing mirror, full size coat rack, and a small dining table, and in the computer/study nook a desktop computer and a laptop. I regrettably never used the patio except for storage but it is spacious enough for four people to sit outside and chat. Out of the 4 places I lived at while attending UNT (3 apartments, 1 rent house), Eagle Creek Apartments was by far the best place I lived at. Allowing me to walk to all of my classes and have residents who are respectful of each other (no loud obnoxious music/sound late at night or early in the morning) provided me with a very comfortable living arrangement as I focused on my studies. -
Review 24 (2019-10-08 - Rating: 5)
I lived at Eagle Creek for about two years. I moved last December after school ended and I miss my little home and Denton dearly! When I was on the lookout for apartments at the start of my journey, I was put on so many waitlists around the area and NEVER got a call back from any one of them. I went to Eagle Creek and even though they were almost full, I was able to apply and get approved that same afternoon! The staff were always friendly and maintenance works hard to make sure everything gets done in a timely manner. I loved how close it was to the square, QT, Golden Triangle Mall, UNT campus, so I could walk to class if I wanted to get some steps in or I could take the bus (we were always the first stop...that always meant first choice on seating!), this complex is sooo conveniently located to everything! The pool was always neat and clean and my dog loved the dog park and I enjoyed meeting my neighbors and their dogs as well. I would recommend this complex to anyone I know! -
Review 25 (2016-05-02 - Rating: 5)
Very pleasant experience living here for 2 years. Whenever I needed maintenance to fix something like the fridge or air conditioning, they came out the same day to fix it. The office staff were always pleasant and listened to any problem. Overall, very pleased with my two years here. -
Review 26 (2018-04-03 - Rating: 5)
Ive lived here since 8/17 and really love it! The staff is fantastic, and after having lived in a different apartment complex in Denton that was horribly managed, this place was like heaven. I do have to say, the apartments are TINY (450 sq ft). Two adults plus a cat make it a wee bit cramped, but I try to think of it as cozy. You can tell the buildings are old but still solid and well taken care of, and I rarely hear noises from neighbors. Also, its a great spot if you go to UNT, save on parking and just walk! Overall, I love this place and if I was staying in Denton another year, Id definitely renew.Edit: A small warning, my husbands car did get broken into, but the staff and police were very responsive and helpful. I dont feel this is a reflection on the apartments, but it would be nice if there was a bit more security! -
Review 27 (2016-05-09 - Rating: 5)
Ive lived here for the past 3 years and its been wonderful! The staff have been so kind and generous. When I first moved in I admit there were some downfalls but the complex really did a great job bringing life into the apertments all the way to installing wood floors, new doors, and implantation of beautiful outdoor decor. Its been a great expence with this friendly and welcomeing community. -
