I’ve been a resident for about a year and a half and have been so happy with the complex. Good area and nice neighbors, the front office is always sweet and helpful; most importantly, maintenance is responsive and timely.Definitely a great reflection on the team they’ve created, when problems arise they’re handled swiftly and communicated to residents.

This is a great place to live. Lived there for years and absolutely loved it. It is quiet and drama free. You truly get what you pay for. The office staff members Lisa and Marlene are absolute dolls. Nice and very quiet community to live! Leasing Associates and maintenance crew are very kind and helpful! Always ready to help you and find the better way to fix all the issues! It is not a new proporty but they do a Good maintenance to every unit, the amenities are good, the gym is a really small space but the rest of the areas are good. 100% recommended to live! Marlene and Lisa are doign a very good job!

I just submitted a maintenance request an hour ago because our toilet kept clogging, and Carlos came by so quickly! I had called Lisa because we were having guests over and I didn’t want the toilet clogging. I was so grateful that Carlos came over so quickly was very friendly. He also helped get us a new dishwasher recently, and it has been working great! I just commented to my husband recently that we are really happy renting here (we have been here for a month). The only complaint was that when we moved in a lot of things were broken, but they have all been addressed by maintenance. There also are so many layers of thick paint on the walls that it makes some of the doors stick. I wouldn’t mind it except that it wakes our baby up sometimes when we try to open the door to our bedroom and the the paint makes the door really loud

The Tallows for us is where home is. Home sweet home. Peace, safety, good ambiance and neighbors in the complex with all necessary facilities. It is managed by the efficient team, and we are beyond thankful for the assistance extended from time to time by Lisa Green during our stay and help recently in our moving across to another unit.

I was out searching for a place to call home. I am from Arkansas and moved to the state of Texas last year on August 31st. Since living here nothing strike home and I would do anything to be away. I was debating on whether to move back to Arkansas if nothing changed or another state. I end up getting into a beautiful relationship and decided to stay in Texas, but I knew that Fort Worth area was not for me. I typed in Google search bar apartments near Carrolton… The Tallows popped up among others. I visited The Tallows and fell in love. I was greeted and welcomed upon entering by the amazing and phenomenal women named Lisa Green and Marlene Valdez. They are absolute queens and over exceeded any expectations I had or have. They are great at staying in contact on any updates that will be. The best experience ever and feels like home! The place gives off good vibes and these two women are hard working and dedicated to making sure you find what you need and at what price you can afford. This location of these apartments are also located near lots of different things you can visit and do, very convent. I have lived here twice. Once for 2 years in 2015-2017, and recently move back home from Michigan and moved back September 1. You ask why? I’ll tell you. For starters Carlos and the maintenance team are very responsive and friendly. The office manager Eva and her staff; Marlene and Miriam are very professional and friendly and again very responsive to our needs. Plus no bugs! I think even the real expensive apartments are buggy but not the Tallows! I also feel very safe here. Thanks Tallow Team for making my home an enjoyable place to live! 08/16/21 Carlos the Maintenance Manager is so awesome! He definitely goes the extra mile to see that things are done right, with a smile! Thanks Carlos😊

I am beyond grateful at the service I was provided upon move in. I was greeted by Marlene at the office who was extremely generous in helping me out with move in after a long drive. Then I met Lisa who helped me throughout the entire process from start to finish and was nothing but kind hearted. I am super happy that they are the first two I see when I step into the leasing office. Thank you to both of you !Edit: I also wanted to say that Carlos & Ricky from maintenance have been a huge help in fixing a couple things right away. Was lucky enough to meet them while I was moving in and they are super friendly.

Ive lived here for 11 years, and for the last few years we have had the best maintenance man this place has ever had; Carlos. Unfortunately for us, and The Tallows, Carlos is leaving for a better job. I dont fault him for that, but good apartment maintenance is very hard to find, and he will be sorely missed. Carlos worked very hard to keep us happy, get the job done right, and as quickly as possible.Carlos, we hate to see you go, but we wish you well and great success, thank you for a job well done.

Ive been a resident here for 18 months. The maintenance staff here are amazing. I can see that Carlos is a good leader and very attentive to what is happening with the residents. As well Carlos is extremely knowledgeable with all parts of the apartments so no matter what he will get anything resolved.Also the office staff Marline and Anna are great to talk to. I havent talked to them in person much due to the pandemic but whenever I call they are always attentive and helpful to my needs.

I lived at The Tallows for 4 years. This is an update for what I was reading on reviews posted. The Tallows is a very very safe place to live at. Some people stated that there are roaches everywhere, that is not true. I never saw roaches in my unit. Some others complain about the fee we pay for pets, everywhere you go you will pay a $400 dlls pet fee, not just here. I loved this place. The area is nice, safe, and with lots of stores to do your weekly shopping. The Tallows is not a new apartment complex. However, this Admin managed by Ms. Eva Vann is the best I have ever seen. This manager will address any situation as soon as possible. She handles the admin as no one I have dealt with. The complex is super clean and well taken care of. The lady in the office, Marlene, is very wonderful and professional person. Marlene treats very well any person coming to that office, welcoming them with a huge smile. Carlos and his maintenance team, the best of the best maintenance persons ever. I have lived at different apt complexes and no one has this team.Summarizing this message, you will be very happy at The Tallows despite the rise in rents. The rise in my rent was for about $ 500 of my monthly previous rent, being the reason I left the complex.

I really wanted to do this review more for the maintenance team than anything. I haven’t had any issues living here and the office is always quick to respond to maintenance requests. Carlos did a great job finding and fixing an issue I had with my AC. He’s very friendly and professional and explained everything to me as he worked. I feel at home here.

Honestly one of the Best apt complex I have lived in. Very respectful, on time with maintenance service. Without a doubt Mrs. Marlene is a great Manager and Mrs. Lisa (front desk) has a great attitude! Grass is always on Point, freshly cut each week and trash is always picked up from your front door!! Very recommended for someone who wants to live in a very quite and beautiful neighborhood. If I could give a 10/10 stars I definitely would!!

Natalie and Mauricio did outstanding service. Mauricio is one of the maintenance guy there and I know Mauricio for almost 5 years. He is a great man and very hard working man. Natalie is the Asst Manager and she is very nice, helpful and easy to talk to. They provide outstanding service to me. I finished my contract on 8/28/2018 and decided to moved closer in my Job at Irving so I can save gas and be close home due to the weather. I love this place and this is the best place for me especially in terms of maintenance. I will missed Mauricio, Carlos and rest of the staff in the management office. Shannon the manager thank you for your warm welcome and thank you to you and your new asst manager and front admin who are dressed very professional. I received my refund right away after my moving. The maintenance team here is amazing! They respond immediately with urgent fixes, and regular maintenance gets done within a few days of the request. Carlos is so helpful, responsive, and friendly - even when I had to call on a Sunday night for an emergency leak. Once the repair is done, it works and doesnt break again. Highly recommend!

If anyone is looking for a place to live the Tallows apartment is the place. I met with one sweet lady at the front desk name Lisa. Shes was very sweet and helpful, she walked us through the whole process from start to finish. and she followed up with me and my wife and keeping us updated while were waiting on to be approved. we were approved in less than a week, thanks to Miss Lisa and Miss Marlene for helping me and my family 👪 walk into our new Home. Everyones experience is individual, ours has been wonderful. My husband and I recently moved here to this new community. Management (Eva and Marlene) has been great since day one. They are friendly and very helpful. Any issues given to the office were immediately addressed. Maintenance team has been amazing. Kudos to Carlos who has help tremendously. I have been staying here for a very long time and over the years I’ve had my fair share of ups and downs with management. Today was definitely an up day. I am impressed with The Tallows. Management and Maintenance have exceed my expectations and I can say I couldn’t be happier. Carlos responded right away to fix the maintenance requests. He even went above and beyond by following up with me after my carpet was cleaned. I am very appreciative of Carlos.

We have lived in this complex for 14 years. The office staff is friendly and has not had a lot of turn over the past few years. We find the complex to be quiet has easy access to 35 and lots of shopping areas, also has ample parking and any bad elements are removed within a relativity short period of time, However we have talked to management about several issues that need to be done but nothing has been done to resolve the issue, not fond of the $25.00 valet trash fee that we are charged monthly needs to be an opt out option when renewing your lease. They need to take better care of their long term residents most have moved on to other places since the office is not willing to work w them when it comes to renewing their lease.

Its the best price for the apartment quality, location and service in Carrollton and surrounding cities. Aspen (the leasing consultant) is extremely helpful and the service calls are fast. No pest problems because they treat the apartments weekly and when asked, it is generally as quiet as an apartment can be, and the community has fences. Appliances are new, windows are new, and if things need replacing, they will replace them. The apartments are older and not perfect, but good for their price. No complaints.

I moved into these apartments in the middle of April. They were in the start of renovations. They are looking so nice. The maintenance personnel Carlos Portillo is very knowledgeable and always helpful. Anytime we need anything he promptly comes to take care of the matter. For example our AC went out on a Friday. He came early that Saturday morning. All the AC needed was batteries. He knew as soon as he saw it. Mr. Carlos Portillo will take care of you if you make The Tallows your home.

Here in Texas A/C is a must. They fixed my a/c in less than an hour after reporting it on a Saturday. I am thankful for that! Update….. So I was here for almost two years, never had an issue. Marlene and Manisha always did a great job responding to even the smallest detail ex: the microwave became a bit lose from one side, fixed within 2 days. I would definitely consider returning to this place. I even had my own washer/ dryer….i miss that lol.

For the past two months I have been in a state of distress, knowing I was going to have to move due to an outrageous boost in rent. After many conversations with Hector, the Manager, emails, etc., Hector finally agreed to allow me to continue living at The Tallows, with a new lease, in the amount I could pay. Why did I not want to leave The Tallows?a) I hate to move, particularly when I am happy where I amb) I love this property. It is close to everything. I dont have to go more than 2 - 3 miles to get to most anywhere I want to go, other than my church.c) maintenance is excellent here. I call with a problem, and they show up the same day and fix it.d) the property is always well maintained and looks pristene.e) I take pride in my surroundings, and if I see garbage or trash thrown around, I pick it up and put it where it belongs. I expect my neighbors to also. Maintenance can only do so much. IT takes a Village to work together to keep the grounds beautiful.f) this experience has shown me that management will do what is necessary to keep good tenants, especially those that are of their older tenants. For us, those on Social Security, options are slim. It takes good management and company to work with those of us who do not wish to leave our comfortable homes at The Tallows.

When inquiring about this place, Mackenzie was amazing and very helpful. She went the distance for us. There was some small issues on moving in which she personally resolved quickly. Maintenance is fast, and the valet trash is fantastic. I really like our new home.

Ive been living here since July 2014. My hot water heater was leaking profusely Sunday night and flooded my kitchen and bathroom downstairs. The on call maintenance guy was there almost instantly and five minutes later the water vac company was there removing the water. A new water heater was replaced the next day. Cant ask for a better team. Wish I could give them 100 stars.

Ok sooooooo I’ve been here for 1 full year now and I can say it’s pretty cool, anytime for the most part when I have a issue the problem gets done, I’ll say if you are looking for a place to call your home come and join the family I think you will like it, I love Lisa and Myra they are amazing still getting to know the leasing agent but she is one of the best come and say hi the the beautiful ladies in the office and let’s call this your home will not be disappointed 😁😁😁

I read the negative reviews and decided to take it upon myself to visit the property and came across a leasing agent who was very pleasant to speak with and wanted to know my intrest about moving . I told her what I needed and she exceeded. I will say this again Im uncertain of anyone else experience at The Tallows but I love my townhome and the fixings. I plan on staying here 2 years until my home is built.

Kudos to the maintenance staff. Sometime its not about what is done right its about what you do when things go wrong. MAINTENANCE HIT THIS ONE OUT THE BALL PARK!!!! I reported two issues with the kitchen and bathroom. Stove was knocked due to the recent power outages caused by the storms and issues with the bathroom. They were timely, performed the work properly and kept the place undisturbed. #AWESOME

These apartments are very nice and have recently had some updates. The location is centered to get to almost any DFW locations within 30 mins. Ive never had any issues with the office and the employees have always been able to work with me and answer any questions I may have. Ive always have fun in the pool area during the summer!!

Carlos and Logan from maintenance are the bomb. We had a bizarre electrical issue that ended up taking a lot of trial and error (and time) to fix, but they got there, and everything works great now! Great guys, and were very grateful.

I only lived here for a short time but I enjoyed it. Great location for my commute to work and close to many places to eat and shop. Affordable rent. Whenever I needed anything the office was always really accommodating.

The office agent Manisha was AMAZING!!!!! She knew I desperately needed a place asap and she scheduled the tour and 15 minutes later I was online filling out the application to remove the apartment off the market.

Lived here for 2 years while i was working in the area. Always received excellent service from the office staff and the few repairs that i did need were handled quickly. At the price point and location i couldnt ask for anything more.

I have been a resident in this community for about a year, wanted to wait to write a review so it would be honest and accurate... in all honesty its one of the best places i have lived, the neighborhood its very calm and quiet, but you can see children here and there playing outside, the ladies at the office are extremely attentive, so attentive in deed that i have never even told them my apt # when i go in they already greet me by name and they already know my apt number... service is performed first thing in the morning if not the same day... Zero complaints... super safe area..
