    I was searching for apartments in the area and happened upon this gem. It is nestled in at neighborhood but close to many stores. The is a CAVA being build close by which I am excited about. So location is great. I went in for a tour with Jazmin last week. She was so sweet with this old lady. She pointed out all of the great things about South Brook. The Clubhouse is beautiful and the residents are friendly. I looked and leased that day. Looking forward to be a resident there soon!

    We arrived at these apartments and are completely delighted. clean well-groomed front doors, beautiful territory, convenient parking. The apartment is freshly renovated, has a refrigerator, microwave, oven, dishwasher, washing machine and dryer. everything works properly, our children like it. the complex has a gym and pool, a good middle school

    I just moved into my first apartment after 20 years of living in a house after separating from my husband. My situation was a bit complicated and Jazmin Corral was exceptional in every aspect helping me to get this apartment. She was always responsive in a timely manner, professional and kind.I LOVE my apartment and all of the amenities this complex has to offer its residents. Definitely made the right choice moving here and couldnt have done it without someone like Jazmin on my side. :)

    If youā€™re looking for an apartment in Leander thatā€™s beautiful with a good price and good experience. The Southbrook is the place to go. Karen at the front office took me on a tour of my apartment two Thursdays ago and within a day I was approved and moved in. Karen and her team were very helpful and got the paperwork done very quickly, the entire process was stress free. Iā€™m very happy with the service and with my apartment so far. If everything continues this way I will most likely renew my lease.

    I previously lived at an older complex in Cedar park where I was very content. After visiting the South Brook several times, Leasing agent Jazmin was very helpful providing me detailed knowledge of what makes this community so special. I feel like this is a true community because the management makes you feel like family, theyre very fair when it comes to expectations, always host fun events, and the apartment living spaces and parking are superb. I highly recommend moving here if youre looking for a place to stay!

    We absolutely LOVE The Southbrook! Weve lived here for just about a year and have renewed our lease for another 18 months. When we first came in a year ago to tour the facilities the assistant manager, Brianna, was absolutely fantastic! She is so very friendly and is great with my toddler every time we go into the office (he loves her lol)! Not only is everyone great but the amenities are too; we love the pool and the beer garden area! I would definitely 10/10 recommend The Southbrook for your next home!

    The definition of hospitality is here, the staffs are very knowledgeable and welcoming. They make us as the customer feel comfortable about choosing the south brooks as our next apartment to live. We ended up leasing with the South brooks complex and it has truly being amazing. Huge props to the property manager Amador Yeverino.

    The staff here was very welcoming when I walked in today to ask questions about apartments. I was able to take a tour and feel this will be my next apartment. There was a guy speaking to a resident while the girl, Jazmin, was helping me. He seemed to really know what he was talking about and the resident seemed pleased. The fitness center and pool were my favorite. They mentioned resident events and I love that because Iā€™m not from this area!

    Best complex in town! The team at The Southbrook is so friendly, quick to action, communicative and fun! Theres always some type of community event happening to help build that sense of community and belonging. The neighbors are great too. The neighborhood is quiet and feels safe. I walk my doggo late at night with no worry. Brianna, Anthony, Jazmin and Amador at office are A team, simply amazing people! Nate with the maintance crew is also fantastic, making sure all service orders are resolved in a timely manner. I highly recommend this complex, if youre looking for a new place to call home!

    Weā€™ve lived here since November and not long after move in there was discrepancy of which I had to no evidence to support my side, other than my claim that Amador, the PM, gave me his word, I was not hopeful. But within a matter of hours it was revolved and Amador held up his end. Since then other interactions with office staff has also been above par (below par? For golf?) however the saying goes theyā€™re on the good side of par. The Southbrook has been a great place for my family to live, it was a wonderful random find.Edit: forgot to mention the maintenance supervisor Nathan! Heā€™s just an all around great guy and was very kind to me during a maintenance emergency.

    Overall, I love my apartment and community. Staff is nice and helpful, and the amenities and community are kept clean. They have events occasionally and I like the location.Few cons is the lack of storage (no linen closet, coat closet, few drawers in kitchen) and Im not a huge fan of the door locks. They are finicky and we got locked out once. Maintenance has a longer turn around time than Im used to but havent had anything major to where it mattered much. Overall would recommend and am happy with our choice!

    Weve lived here since the complex opened, and really love it here. Weve never had any issues with bad neighbors, and the staff has always been responsive and kind. Maintenance is handled quickly, and all of the maintenance guys are polite and friendly. Weve renewed our lease twice now - and our rent even went DOWN this year (we took an early renewal offer).

He went above and beyond with our viewings and even worked hours past his schedule to allow us to move in same-day. He didnt just treat us as a tenant but as friends.We are very happy to have secured a wonderful quiet apartment and look forward to building memories in our new home.

    I moved to The Southbrook right after my building was ready for tenants after construction in May 2021 and my experience has been nothing less than positive. Brianna has been here since the very beginning and she is always helpful. The maintenance workers are always on top of anything you ask, they always give you an air filter and anything else we may need. The property is so clean, you can tell the office and maintenance really care about their tenants and the property. We are within walking distance to the metro rail, grocery stores and eateries. People have wrote complaints on here and I think itā€™s unfair because I donā€™t hear my neighbors outside of the normal apartment living. If you choose to live here I can assure you that you will love this place. Itā€™s like a resort and the inside of the apartments have very large kitchens and are very spacious. All in all this has been my favorite place to live.

    First of all ANTHONY!! Is a rockstar in the office!. He made sure my move in process from the moment I stepped into the office with a tour to filling out the application to moving in was smooth and easy and heā€™s funny and personalble . The whole staff makes you feel welcomed.They work as a team!. The apartment itself feels cozy and home feeling . Little things that need to be fixed but honestly the maintenance responded so fast on a few things already!.     Assistant Manager Bri, the dude with the long hair flowing hair(manager Amadore), they have been stepping up the energy to this property to be itā€™s best.     If youā€™re used to massive properties that possess smart home installation, peace of mind, friendly and courteous tenants and staff, fire-pit to use at any timeā€“especially late nights readings, barbecues to use at will, spacious and practical room setup, individual indoor garage, beautiful and peaceful environment to walk around and ride bikes (at any time!), a swimming pool worthy of any resort you may have seen in exotic places, highway easy to use yet far enough not to hear the cars driving, an amazing patio to relax and enjoy the sunset, this place wonā€™t amaze you. For us? itā€™s everything we asked for.We fell in love with this place over a Zoom video call, then strengthen our sentiment once we arrived. What sold us on the callā€“aside from the apartmentā€“was the joy tenants and Brianna had whenever they would see each other. She knew their names, and they obviously knew hers too. That was it for us! This courteous behavior is one we still encounter today whenever we meet the staff or tenants of The Southbrook.Once we moved (from MA), we realize that it was even more. The place is so peaceful, and gigantic. We walk often and also ride our bikes around. Our rooms are peaceful, and I suggest to anyone to soundproof their rooms as we did so you dont get bothered whenever the gardeners treat the plants and grass.Although we visited Austin years before, Leander is a breath of Fresh air.We have The Southbrook and its staff (Brianna, April, and maintenance) to thank for making our transition as smooth as it was.I must also insist on the courtesy and friendliness of our neighbors. People say hi, smile, and enjoy their time with their kids and pets. Dogs seem to have the most fun here. I was shocked to see big dogs, since most apartment complexesā€“such as the one we came fromā€“do not allow tenants to have dogs bigger than a watermelon.Had we known that this place was as it is, we would have probably moved in here earlier.We enjoy this place very much and look forward to spending another year here.

    I cant say enough about The Southbrook Apartments! Zach and Brianna were extremely supportive helping us move in! They accommodated our every need. The complex has many amminities and a gorgeous pool with tons of outdoor space with 2 bark parks for our two beloved dogs to enjoy. Its enjoyable just to walk them throughout the apartment complex. Every neighbor weve met has been very friendly, nice and kind as well as the maintenance workers. There are many security cameras which make us feel safe and they are very handicap accessible should it be a need or concern. If you are looking for an apartment close to the Leander, Cedar Park, Georgetown or Liberty Hill area with easy access to Austin these are perfect! The apartments are spacious with tons of storage and close to HEB with countless restaurants near by. Thanks again Zach for your continued help! You are very much appreciated! It could not be better located with Hā€‘Eā€‘B being down the road, so many restaurants to choose from, schools all around us, the train just down the street and Northline (once itā€™s finished!). All in all, we have had the best experience at Southbrook!

    Overall we truly loved this complex, but had to move out because Leander was just too far out for what we needed. If the commute and location works for you, this is a great place to live!To determine my final rating I started at 3 stars (average), added 1 star for every pro, removed 1 star for every 5 annoyances, and removed 1 star for every con.For reference, we lived in an apartment in the north half of the complex (buildings 1-8) on the top (third) floor. We had a 2 bed, 1.5 bath floor plan. We lived at The Southbrook for a year and a half.Pros (+9):- Amazing staff. Kind, responsive, and friendly- Fantastic amenities (pool, pool table, gym, common area, office space, hammocks, fire pit, and the free coffee/chai/hot chocolate is quite good)- Parcel lockers (they started with Fetch but switched to Parcel Pending lockers)- Incredibly fast and friendly maintenance team. We also had to use emergency maintenance twice, and even outside of office hours and on holidays they responded same day- We got our security deposit back (minus the mandatory cost of cleaning on move out, which is $150 for a two bedroom)- We never had an issue with bugs or pests- Overall quiet complex that respected quiet hours- Always gave advanced notice before entering the unit- INSANE amount of natural light. Huge windows. It was amazing and I miss itAnnoyances (-1):- Thin walls. We could hear our neighbors and their kids through the bedroom wall when trying to sleep. We could also ALWAYS hear dogs in the building. Iā€™ve never heard that many dogs bark so loudly and constantly in my life. We didnā€™t have upstairs neighbors, so I canā€™t comment on if upstairs neighbors can be loud- Valet trash cancelled due to weather very often, but we still had to pay the full cost every month- Not enough parking (people would often park in or next to handicap spaces because this)- Gate call box would make a really loud squealing/feedback sound for hours. This was a common occurrence- The complex is on two sides of a street with no crosswalk where most people need/want to cross. Was also very confusing for delivery driversCons (-7):- We were told that they offered recycling when we toured. This was a lie. They do NOT offer recycling and have no plans to offer it in the future. Had we known this we would not have signed with them- HORRIBLE trash management. Every week we would have to wade through piles of trash to avoid leaving our trash bag on the road next to the compactor. They never took steps to address this other than send out vague emails every once in awhile- Gates broken more often than they worked.- Frequent miscommunication from people in the office- it did not feel like everybody was on the same page- People entered the unit a LOT. Over a dozen times in the year and a half we lived there (due to a combination of inspections and maintenance). They give all day timeframes and would require you to crate or lock up your pets for the entire day if you were out- Complex skimped out on the AC units. I was told theyā€™re only rated for 95Āŗ, so a ton of ACs failed in the really hot August last year- Despite such a large kitchen, there were only three small drawers. Made for awkward storage/usage. The ventilation in the kitchen was also really inadequate. We pretty much always had to cook with the windows and patio door open and every single fan and vent on full blast or we would set off the fire alarm

    Living at the southbrook was probably one of the best decisions my fiancĆ© and I have done, weā€™ve lived at several other apartments and had problems that never got resolved at the time of us living there but thankfully Dario from the maintence team changed my mind on thinking all complexā€™s have bad staff who donā€™t care, this guy goes out of his way everytime even late on a weekend we had a emergency and he stopped his personal life to come to the aid and that shows character! Much appreciated Dario thanks for being great and helping more than any previous maintenance teams have!

    I absolutely love living at The Southbrook. This place is amazing, the office people are so kind and helpful all the time I have any questions. If you ever need maintenance, they handle whatever you need right away. I see reviews on here that arent very good. I dont know what the reviewers are talking about, I am ready to renew for my second year and highly recommend this place!

    Very nice apartment in a good area, each and every staff is very nice. Property site is clean and taken care of. They respect quiet hours and any issues. I had 0 issues with neighbors except noise complaints which was resolved with a thick rug since my toddler can be noisy. 100% recommend :)

    New-ish resident. I have been here for about 6 months and let me just say I dont plan on going anywhere else for long time. My move in went great (Bri has been amazing!) we have these electronic key fob thingamabobs that I needed some time getting used to but other than that, no complaints here!Maintenance from what Ive seen has always been on top of it with all of my work orders getting done within a day or 2. Its also nice to see them all out throughout the day.Lastly, there is a new manager in the office, Amador. Dude is hilarious. I see so many good things coming for this place.

    Ive been here one month and everything has been seamless! The apartment and amenities are beautiful and well thought out. Love coming home to a home no one has been in before me. Everyone in the leasing off has been wonderful to deal with and the minor issues Ive had maintenance fix were resolved the next day.

    The absolute best apartment community I have ever had the pleasure to reside! This new community is beautiful both inside and out, but what is even more amazing is the great lengths and effort made to assure the community remains beautiful. More often than not, apartment communities are not well maintained and soon lose the beautiful appearance that made you fall in love with the place when you chose to move there, and since they are considered rental property with many residents, little effort is made or expected to keep up with the ongoing beauty of the community. Thus far, that has not been the case with Southbrook where each and every team member goes above and beyond to assure that all residents are following the required rules which were clearly documented in the lease agreement. With the multitude of residents all sharing common areas, it is vital for the better of the community that we not disrespect each other by imposing onesā€™s own unclean and/or destructive habits on everyone else that truly appreciates living in a clean well maintained community , and that is strictly enforced by the team at Southbrook. Keep up the amazing job; it does not go unnoticed and is much appreciated!!

    I ended up needing to cancel my lease before moving in. I must say that the leasing staff here are so wonderful. From helping me find my apartment which took a lot of time and energy from them, to being so kind when I needed to cancel my lease. I cannot recommend this staff enough.     Just relocated to the Leander area from Louisiana and I couldnā€™t have asked for a better team to help me find a home. I would recommend these homes to anyone looking for an apartment in this area!Update: we have been here for 2 1/2 months now and we are loving calling SouthBrook home!
