    I can honestly say that when I first moved here, it was horrible! We went through so many managers, and it was insane, but now we have Mack, and I couldnt be more ecstatic. She is really committed to making this a better, more beautiful, and safer place to live. She goes above and beyond her job duties to make sure you can live comfortably. Not only that, but she works on the holidays to make sure she gets done what you need done!! As well as Joe with maintenance. He is always so friendly and makes this place feel so much safer. They really made my Christmas. Thank you so much, Mack!! Best management in years.

    I have been living here for over two years. Management is great. Super friendly staff. Staff goes out of their way to help their tenants if a need arises. One of the managers, I think his name is Joey, walked our dog a couple of times when I was at work for over 8 hours. Little things like that have made a difference in our stay at The Social. Looking into staying another year at these apartments. :)

    I moved to this part of town during a very difficult period of time in my life, thinking it would be a little crummy pit stop, while I sorted my life back out again. But Katie and Joey, of The Social management staff, made this place feel like a home. They are so genuinely kind and friendly, and work very hard to have personal relationships with their tenants. I’ve never been afraid to reach out to them with issues, like I have been with landlords in the past. They work hard to have silly, fun events like Halloween pet costume contests for $ off rent, and Thanksgiving dinner for folks who don’t have local family.Sure, this is an older complex. They’ve done a lot to make it funky and fun, though, and the grounds look nice. I’ve had to get Maintenace to come fix things that are older and not working well. It’s not luxury, but if you’re living off East Oltorf, I don’t think you’re expecting that. I live on the second floor, and have lovely vaulted ceilings, carpet, and a nice little balcony for my hammock. It’s been a lovely place to live, and I would recommend it to anybody who is in the same transitional period that I have been.Thanks, Katie and Joey!

    I just moved into my new apartment here at The Social for the second year. I have been very happy living here. The office staff and maintenance team are great people. I have also enjoyed getting to know my neighbors over the past year hanging out at the pools and dog yard. you cant beat the closeness to downtown and eastside for the price. :]

    I moved into the social back in March(2015). From the moment I signed my contract, the office staff has been nothing but helpful. They expedited the remodeling of my unit so that I could move in earlier. Ive had every maintenance request completed within a day or less. There are no restrictions on dog breed or size, and I have an amazing, well maintained, fenced in dog park on premise. To top it all off, the staff constantly hosts social gatherings with different kinds of entertainment, food, and drinks. I challenge anyone to find nicer, better staffed, and better located apartments at the same price point.I hate generalizing, but Im going to go ahead and assume that everyone complaining about the gas problems weve had recently doesnt have a clue about the amount of coordination it takes to repair, inspect, and turn on gas lines in 35+ buildings. You are entirely at the mercy of the city. I think the idea of isolating all three systems(hot water, gas stoves, and furnaces) and turning them on in stages was very smart. Yes, we had to deal with repetitive inspections, but the alternative would have been to go without all three for 23 days. Instead, lets break down what actually happened...Nov 2nd .......... Google Fiber hits a gas line (not The Social as some have claimed)Nov 5th .......... Hot water back on (some got hot water back on the 4th)Nov 10th .......... Stoves working againNov 25th .......... Furnaces back on (only 2, maybe 3 days of actual cold weather btw)The circumstance was unusual, but was handled well in my opinion. If you are reading this and debating renting at The Social, send me a FB message. I have a record of emails that supports the timeline above.

    Ive been looking for an apartment to rent, and since its my first time looking for one I was nervous about it, but the management here especially Ms. Brenna Curlee helped ease my mind. She was very kind and helpful in answering all my questions and concerns. Unfortunately the pricing is a little out of my price range otherwise Id definitely move in.

    WTFantastic,I cant speak for previous management and I feel bad for anyone that had to go through those horrors - God knows Ive had my share of bad management.As for the NEW management, theyre amazing and super friendly! Theyre not fake corporate friendly. These guys have souls and theyre super attentive to my and my roommates needs.Neighbors are amazing, people are super social. Its tucked away off Oltorf so youd never think that itd be this amazing community, especially on the East Side.If youre into events and the social life, this is the place to be since everyone is super friendly and overall welcoming. If youre an introvert or OCD, this is also the place to be since its super quiet and well-kept.We just had a craft beer mixer recently with Whip In beers. I dont know what else to tell you.

    This place is great! The apartments are clean, the rent is fair, and the staff is beautiful and extremely helpful. Ask for Joe he’s probably the best apartment manager whos ever walked this planet of earth!

    Yes the social is a very elegant place to live with all its wonderful amenities, and a hard working and wonderful staff,that is always available and very helpful I would recommend that all come by and have a tour,thank you.

    I would like to thank Mrs. Kelli Boos for taking her time to assistance me with a time consuming project. I needed help with some important matters and she sat down with me and gave me her undivided attention and patience.
