    Where to begin, love living in this community. Beautiful surrounding and views. Staff is attentive and display diligence. Desirea was very welcoming and patient with explaining and showing me options on the availability of different locations around the complex. The units are unique and have spacious functional layouts. Johnathan went above and beyond to alleviate any concerns and answer all my questions. He is super kind and energetic and works really hard to expedite concerns. Not to mention went out of his way to get me a small reimbursement after a small misunderstanding with the website. The Kennedy staff continues to focus on upgrading and maintain their grounds which is a rarity today. The elevator is mopped daily and the grounds are kept clean, tidy and monitored. The tranquility and quiet hours being respected and prioritized are also a big plus. Nothing better than going downstairs and being at one of the nicest if not the best parks in San Antonio. Thank you for your hospitality šŸ™‡šŸ»ā€ā™€ļø

    Came into the Kennedy looking for a new place to call home. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted by Jonathan. He was super enthusiastic to show me the complex and took his time to explain the rental process, pricing, and amenities. This place is beautiful and itā€™s even better because Jonathan is willing to help you with whatever issues arise. If it werenā€™t for his professional demeanor and willingness to help, I wouldnā€™t have moved in. He offered the best service Iā€™ve ever received. Give this man a raise!

    Move in review: The staff here at The Kennedy made moving in a breeze. Everything was able to be done online, including submitting deposits & move in payment. After doing the move in walkthrough of my apartment, I noticed a few things and Jonathan had maintenance address them right away which was awesome. Itā€™s nice to be able to walk out the gate to the park as well. At this point my only concern is at least one of the pedestrian gates do not lock, so anyone could just pull it open and get in. There are also a few sections of the gate that separate the community from the park that are fully broken or have a big enough gap that someone could slip through. Honestly, if those issues got addressed this community would probably be a 5/5!

    I cannot recommend this apartment complex enough! Jonathan was absolutely amazingā€”professional, friendly, and so helpful throughout the entire process. The application process was seamless and stress-free, which is such a rare find these days.The complex itself is stunningā€”by far the most beautiful and best-quality apartments youll find in the City Base area. And trust me, I did my homework!     Ive had the pleasure of staying at The Kennedy Apartments for 4 years and it was such a great experience.     Jonathan (Kennedy Property Manager) and his staff have been extremely helpful and very friendly during my leasing transition. I went from a 1 bedroom to a 2 bedroom within the Kennedy property and Jonathan was incredibly helpful throughout the process. The staff are not only kind but also exceptionally attentive, always going the extra mile to ensure residents feel at home-shout out to Jonathan and the team at The Kennedys for helping us get set up in another unit while our A/C was getting fixed during the 2024 summer season! The team here at The Kennedy is incredible! The Kennedy team and Live BH could have let us handle the situation on our own this summer and close the door on any help. You are on your own as some complexes would say but they chose to extend a helping hand to me and my family and for that we are very appreciative and blessed. The quiet and friendly atmosphere fosters connections among neighbors, making it easy to build lasting relationships. Residents can always count on the staff for support, creating a caring environment that enhances the living experience. From well-maintained facilities to a genuine sense of community, The Kennedy Apartments is a fantastic place I like to call home.     The Kennedy was a great place to live. The green line park behind the complex was our favorite but I have to shoutout the staff. The apartment is clean, modern, and affordable which is a plus but the staff is what makes it. Each one including maintenance are so kind, helpful, and responsive. Thanks for having us!

    My boyfriend and I have been a resident of The Kennedy Apartments since July 2022. We have really enjoyed our experience living here as we get a beautiful view of the park outside and plenty of space in our one bedroom/one bathroom apartment. I decided that I wanted to move due to the amount of rent I was paying (over $1,700 per month). Jonathan in the leasing office made the process very easy for me. Im happy to say we will still be able to live here, but in another unit. We might not have a view of the park anymore, but I would be saving about $300 in rent! I am very happy that my concerns were heard by Jonathan and he made time to work with my needs. That is why we didnt want to leave this complex!

Desirea made a unit available for us to measure beforehand and has been an amazing support person since weā€™ve moved in. Jonathan was very knowledgeable and gave us a thorough walk through of the property sharing with us all the great amenities this place has to offer.     I currently live here and it really is the best apartments Iā€™ve lived in. The grounds are well kept and anytime something is breaks or needs to be cleaned maintenance is on top of it. Jonathan at the front is so cool, helpful and friendly! Oh and the pool is always well kept and they make sure every balcony is well kept, the pool is clean and the lobby is clean.

    This is my first experience in an apartment building and let me tell you.... it has been nothing less than AMAZING! The Kennedy is where it is at my friends! I was skeptical moving so far away from home into an apartment I knew nothing about, but let me tell you... the staff and the other residents have made this place feel like home for me. The pool and the dog park are a major bonus too ;) The maintenance guys are just incredible. The second I put in a request it if fulfilled. Robert even gives my dog treats everyday and is the sweetest person to talk to in passing. Jonathan, oh my gosh, he is just so accommodating and has nothing but good energy to give. Absolutely loved working with him. He really truly got us the best deal. The other girls are great too. IF YOU ARE DEBATING WHETHER OR NOT TO LIVE AT THE KENNEDY... JUST DO IT!! Promise you wont regret it.

    We just signed a lease with The Kennedy and we couldnā€™t be more excited! The unit we live in is so spacious and beautiful and taking a tour was SO easy! Within 30 minutes I called and scheduled a tour with the ā€˜famousā€™ Jonathan and he was amazing! He has such a great energy about him and he made everything so simple. We moved in within a few days. The maintenance guys here are so friendly and willing to help, specifically Robert. Super sweet! Also, our internet guys Nick Ramos and Mark from At&t got the ball rolling so we could have our internet as soon as possible (since we moved in on a Saturday) and we havenā€™t had any issues with our connection so thatā€™s a plus! It was super easy to set up a time to have the box installed and communicate with them overall.

    If I could give Jonathan at The Kennedy 10 stars I would do it without hesitation. He went WAY above and beyond for me and my family. We moved out of our roach infested apartment after management was unable to accommodate another bug free unit. Jonathan secured a unit for us on a weekend! Which is unheard of if you have ever dealt with any other property management. The Kennedy is BUG FREE, and light years ahead of any complex in town. We are more than happy. I could go on about the nightmare we endured at the other complex but that would be a disservice to Jonathan. He is simply the best and excels at customer service. One of a kind.!

    Have been extremely happy with my move in so far. The apartments are spacious and have nice appliances and furnishings. 2 dogs parks and lake close by by, as well as numerous restaurants a few minutes away. Staff have been very friendly, and Jonathan has been the best in terms of giving information pre and post move. He has been available to help with any questions or concerns night or day. Very happy so far.

    Me and my wife have lived here for almost a month and our move in experience has been the best we have ever had anywhere! Johnathan in the front office is amazing and is so helpful, personable, and professional. Other apt. Complexes should take notes on how to run a front office. Truly the best part about these apartments.Now the apt. Is real beautiful and cozy and the residents are so quiet. All the resident pets are nice and clean up after themselves ā€œfor the most partā€ really the least amount of waste I have ever seen in a complex.Best office, great residents, beautiful apt.     Disclaimer: This review is specifically for the staff not the apartment complex.The staff (front office, maintenance, etc) has always been very helpful and responsive to requests & questions. Iā€™ve had great interactions with Canaan in the front office, she is super sweet and friendly & always ready to help! Iā€™ve also used maintenance a lot and they are very timely and polite! Most everyone is pretty great. I know there have been some bigger issues that have been reported and sometimes it doesnā€™t get resolved as fast as people would like but for the most part the bigger requests are out of the staffā€™s hands and have to go higher up but I still appreciate the staff doing what they can to help.

    The Kennedy Apartment Complex have amazing floor plans, they have the nicest units in the area, and the place makes you feel like you are living in a resort.     Iā€™ve only been here a short time. But the Kennedy seems to be a very clean and quiet place to live. I relocated for medical school and this seems like a very desirable, stress-free place to spend my 4 years of training. Iā€™d like to make a point to acknowledge Ms. Canaan Gurthrie. She has been absolutely wonderful throughout my entire move. Very friendly, responsive and easy to talk to. She possesses the qualities required for working in leasing. Also, I was not simply a means to an end. She is still very helpful and genuine even after her job with me was finished!

    The Kennedy is a decent apartment complex. Its a good choice for young professionals who work at the south side or for students who go to UIW medical school. But theres a lot of room for improvement.First let me mention the pros:- I like the designs and how efficiently they use the space.- All appliances (AC, washer, dryer, dishwasher, oven, etc.) are of high quality and have been working with no problem.- I recently placed two maintenance requests which were resolved the next day.- Trash valet has been a good and consistent service.- Its nice to always have coffee in the lobby.Now the cons:- I think a major source of dissatisfaction among the residents (as can be seen in other reviews) is that the reality doesnt match expectations. The Kennedy advertises itself as Luxury Living, yet theres not much luxury here (except maybe the nice pool that most residents barely use). So the rent is 10-20% higher compared to other complexes in the Brooks City Base area for no apparent reason.- The staff should be more proactive in finding problems in the common area and fixing them. They shouldnt wait for residents to report a pile of trash at some corner in the complex or the water fountain in the dog park not working. The common area locks and the gate also have problems often that go unfixed for a long time.- Landscaping is not done as often as it should or its done poorly.- Parking is a problem. Its so annoying when you get back home from work or grocery shopping and cant find a spot near your building and have to park at the other side of the complex.Suggestions for the management:- Decrease the rents. Offer incentives to longterm residents for renewing their lease.- Increase your maintenance staff. Give one of your staff the task of walking around the complex and inspect everything (locks, water fountains, etc) and fix them on the spot.- Contract a better landscaping company.- Give each apartment 1 allocated parking spot near their own building.- Add CC cameras to each building (at least the entries) for increased security and peace of mind for residents.

    Amazing move-in experience. Whole application, approval process took less than a day and got great support from everyone in the Leasing Office especially Cannan.Cannan was very helpful explaining all the things in detail.Briah and Desirea also helped a lot with the move-in.Coming to the Apartment, it is a brand new apartment, clean, spacious with the technology package. Im lovin it :). Great Gym, Entertainment room, beautiful pool and Everything is very close by - Shopping, Movies, 15 mins from Riverwalk.Betty made me a Starbucks Coffee as well!I would definitely recommend Kennedy to my friends who are looking for a new home.
