    We have been residents of The Gates of Allen for over four years now. We moved from out of state with little more than a video tour of our apartment and were overwhelmed by how much we love this place. The staff are very friendly and approachable with any questions or concerns. Maintenance crew are great, timely, and always in a positive mood whenever we had to submit a ticket. It has been great living here and bittersweet that we will be moving on. Regardless, The Gates of Allen was the perfect choice for us!

    We lived in the Gates of Allen apartments and we had a great experience living there. The Assistant Manager Johanna Gleason is awesome whenever we needed help, she always greets with a beautiful smile which made us feel good and comfortable.Johanna also helped us with the package since it got delayed after our move out date. She is awesome and beyond expectations which words cannot explain. We moved out of the apartment because of job relocation otherwise we wouldnt moved out. One of the best apartments ever lived in.We as a family always felt welcome and comfortable living at the Gates of Allen apartments. The apartment complex is well maintained and located at the main place near H.E.B, Kroger and Bank of America. The Allen High School is located just opposite to the apartment complex.

    Something important when choosing a new apartment is the response of the ADMINISTRATION staff to your needs and concerns. This attention allows you to have a vision of what your stay will be like in that new place. My family saw from the first moment we arrived at The Gates an excellent service, quick response to our needs and concerns. And to date their service and human quality remains 5 stars. Thank you Johanna G and all the girls on the administrative staff for such excellent work. You are the super powerful girls :)

    We had an exceptional experience with Vivian as our leasing agent, and we can’t thank her enough for her help in finding our perfect new home! From the very beginning, she was friendly, professional, and dedicated to making the entire process smooth and enjoyable.Vivian toured us through a beautiful 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom apartment, showcasing each room and layout feature, and giving us a clear sense of the space. She thoughtfully covered every aspect of the community, from amenities to services, taking the time to answer every question we had in detail. Her knowledge about the property and surrounding community made us feel comfortable and well-informed, and her willingness to provide complete, upfront information on pricing and fees made our decision so much easier.We were also highly impressed by Vivian’s responsiveness and flexibility. When we decided to change to a different apartment last minute, she immediately contacted the manager on our behalf, advocating for our request and making it happen with ease. Even after we moved in, Vivian continued to support us—when we realized we wanted a carport closer to our apartment, she quickly arranged it, ensuring we had a spot that was both convenient and met our preferences.Vivian’s professionalism, patience, and dedication deserve a perfect 10/10.     Where shall I start. I’m not a resident, but I do visit the property often. I must say for The Gates to be an older property. It’s well maintained from the grounds , to the inside of the apartments. The management staffs customer service along with the service team is a 10. I visit my girlfriend often and whenever I have an interaction it’s always been GREAT. Keep up the wonderful work

    I’ve lived at The Gates Of Allen Station for nearly two years now, and I couldn’t be happier with my decision to stay. The staff here is fantastic, and I have to give a special shoutout to Johanna! She has been so helpful, informative, and incredibly welcoming. It’s rare to find someone who makes you feel comfortable enough to be yourself, and she’s been amazing at that. I’m naturally very bubbly, which not everyone responds to well, but Johanna embraces it with a friendly smile and genuine support.Overall, the service from the team here has been top-notch, and the community they foster has made this feel like home for me.     This is my 4th year at this apartment complex and I couldnt be happier! The new management team, led by Lolita, has truly transformed the community. Theyre always keeping us informed about upcoming events and activities, which creates a wonderful sense of belonging. In fact, I just enjoyed a complimentary burger by the pool - its moments like these that make me feel grateful to call this place home. The maintenance staff is also top-notch, consisting of qualified professionals who promptly address any issues that arise. Their quick response and expert work give me peace of mind, knowing that any problems will be resolved efficiently. Since Lolita took the helm, Ive seen significant improvements and Im excited to see what the future holds. I highly recommend this complex to anyone looking for a welcoming, supportive, and well-maintained community. I dont see myself moving anytime soon - it feels like home!

    If you want to move to Allen Texas please make this your first stop!!! I cant express how wonderful the staff and the property is. First the apartments are immaculate!     I lived here for 3 years, but moved out 2 years ago. I recently had to call due to some of my mail still being delivered to this address and Vivian was super kind, very helpful and proactive. She tried so hard to help me find my mail and Im super grateful for her customer service.Honestly, I wasnt expecting less from The Gates of Allen team. Everyone I have encountered ( 3 years ago, and to this day) has been amazing. The billing was always very transparent, nothing ever was added. The groundkeepers and maintenance team (Shoutout to Cesar) were always very helpful too.If I ever return to Allen, Id choose this place over and over again.Thanks Vivian, and every single team member.

    Love the place and of course the way they are managing everything. Super safe, perfect for families with kids. Our 2 boys enjoy to play outside, swim in the pool and there is a playground close that we visit everyday. Super clean, any issues are addressed quickly and in a very friendly manner so thank you for all the support to make us happy while making memories as a family.     Johanna went way beyond helping me sign all the papers and transferring everything to the new apartment. She was very detailed, helpful, and patience. She is definitely a delight. Cesar in maintenance is always very prompt and helpful. Lolita made this stressful situation very easy. She answered all my questions.     We recently moved from a house in McKinney to an apartment in The Gates of Allen Station. I was concerned about the transition, but Whitney made the move flawless! Her positive attitude, prompt replies, and her always doing what she says she is going to do made this a positive experience. Our apartment (model B2) is wonderful, and the complex is always clean and well maintained. I highly recommend The Gates of Allen Station. Be sure to ask for Whitney!Update: In the past year I have visited friends and family in other apartment complexes in the Plano-Allen-McKinney area. What has constantly impressed me is just how much cleaner and neat The Gates of Allen Station grounds and common areas are compared to the complexes I have visited. No dirt, trash, or other messes in the halls or stairways. The maintenance team deserves a BIG thank you for their hard work!

    I’ve been living at the gates of Allen station for the last two years and they have been an over all pleasant experience. Their maintenance crew are quick to respond to requests, the staff in the front office is communicative through emails and updates residents regularly when upgrades or vendors are on property for this and that.The amenities are nice, although I wonder when they are going to put the dog wash station in. I was told when I first moved in they were making one (building was built to house the wash basin and dryer) but now it’s just used for storage.Neighborhood is quiet for the most part and most of the residents are respectful in noise level for their neighbors. Parking can get full on the weekends but over all pretty decent parking by your building during weekdays.The units themselves are from the early 2000s but they’ve done a good job in updating them to reflect the rent they incur. Competitive to the rent in the area. What I like is that they don’t charge you one of those exuberant monthly charges like my old apartments we’re trying to do. My old apartments wanted ($140 on top of rent for a package fetching and storage service, maintenance fee to pay their maintenance people and their grounds keeping fee to pay the landscapers that came every two weeks).All in all not a bad place to live.

    The Gates of Allen Station apartments are AMAZING! I have lived in quite a few apartments in the area and none compare to Allen Station. There is such a strong & active community here. If you want to make new friends, that will not be a problem here! The complex hosts events like brunches, dinners and holiday get-togethers every month. Be social and hang out! The people here are great. :)The staff is super easy to reach and talk to. Maintenance is quick and easy to request through the app. Requests typically get filled within 1-2 business days which is really nice.Regarding the complex, it is super clean! There are many trails near the complex as well if you live/are wanting to live a healthier, more active lifestyle. The surrounding area is nice. The high school is a few minutes walk away for kids enrolled & the H.E.B. just opened up right next door. I expected traffic to be bad due to this, but traffic is seemingly unchanged. It is a nice 5-10 minute walk to HEB.The only noise I can hear is the from the Highschool’s stadium during games, which doesn’t bother me much. If it gets too rowdy/loud, you could just go to the game(s) and have fun with them!Overall, this complex is incredible. Rent is not bad compared to other places in the area & the community is nice. There is a waitlist most times, so apply ASAP if interested. It is worth the wait. This place is the first apartment I’ve had that actually feels like home. I plan on being here for the long haul.Update: I just want to further emphasize how AMAZING this place is! There are a lot of new faces in the leasing office since I first moved here & they all have smiles! Everyone here is so helpful. I cannot recommend this place more! Don’t stress out apartment hunting. You just found your next home!

    I have fallen in love with this property and the amazing team! I was greeted as soon as I walked in the door with a smile and hello. Johanna showed me a beautiful 1bedroom that I decided to lease and they made it as easy and fast as possible.     I have been living at this apartment for 3 years and have NEVER had an issue. Especially would like to give a shout out to maintenance because the two times my air went out during the hot summer they responded immediately. They took my request seriously and had the air back working within an hour. I would definitely recommend this apartment. Its safe, clean and affordable.

    Me and wife love being a resident here. The maintenance team is very good, friendly and quick . There is every month a event going on for a resident to engage with them which is very awesome. Gates of Allen is very clean and neat surrounding, the gates and fences make it a safe community here. MO always make sure everything is taken care and good to work with. She is polite, professional and respectful with her communication to us. They have patio contest, pet contest all these kind of fun contest to make the resident engaging and have a wonderful experience living here. HEB, Aldi, Walmart, Starbucks coffee, burger shops are just surrounded by less than 3 minutes drive. Good part is Birds humming all the time morning and evening. Mailbox area are well organized and kept clean. The GYM, pool and clubhouse are clean and smells good. The trash collection and dumpster are well organized. You can take your time cleaning, washing and vacuuming your car at wash car center inside the apartment property which is very cool and rare than other apartments, They offer valet trashing, which makes feasible and less stress. They have a grill nearby pool. Propane is provided by the management. You can cook and have a good time in courtyard. Highly recommended to anyone who is considering applying here.     Even though this is a place that has been in place for a while (you can tell), the management team has done a great job in keeping it clean and well maintained. You can feel the care for its residents. We really enjoyed our visit here and will hopefully be moving soon.     Of all the apartments I have ever stayed at I find this location to be the best in terms of upkeep. They really take care of the property here and that is something that I appreciate. Its affordable. Its clean, well kept for a property this old.Lolita the manager is a sweetheart. Shes very understanding. There was a situation when we first moved in and we had a problem with our keys and could not enter our apartment. I explained that situation to her and asked for a prorate. Her understanding the situation approved my request for a prorated refund and she approved saving us some money. Thank you!!!Whitney, a true go getter and the backbone of this community. Because if you have a work order in place well they will fix it soon our maintenance guys are so professional and friendly they always communicate with you about it so your experience will be amazing!! And the cherry on top yes 🙌 we have one’s a month a food truck is incredible for those nights you are tires for work well Dinner is ready yeaaa !! And more yes we do have more breakfast on Saturday’s I do believe is Also one’s a month and is so delicious.. so many activities for our community.     I stayed here for 2 years and I have no complaints what so ever. The maintainance( urgent/non-urgent) requests were answered timely. Courtsey officer was always available on call . The other apartments Ive been in are nice, clean and spacious, just like mine. The price is coherent with the service you receive from the office and maintenance staff, and the location. These people have been great for us. The city of Allen is a safe area to live in. The property is almost always clean and safe. The amenities, among other services, are free. Recently(summer 2018) the office staff have been hosting game nights and other fun activities to do with fellow residents. I really like how this complex isnt as stiff and as cold as other places Ive lived at.Warning: Eagle Stadium is across the road so be prepared to hear the activities. Also, the traffic light to the complex is pretty annoying and long so you have to be strategic with it.If you love bunnies and singing birds youll love living by the courtyard. Sit on your porch, watch the bunnies play, and let the birdies sing you to sleep.

    This is the best apartment complex I have ever lived in! The apartments are spacious, clean and very well maintained. The office staff goes out of their way to make sure your taken care of and quickly respond. The grounds are clean, and the office staff is always sending updates about events or news. The Maintenace staff is AMAZING!! Super-fast response times, usually same day fixes. They also have pest control come out regularly, so no issues there. Also, this complex holds tenants accountable for noise control after hours...big plus!Overall, I can see why this complex is extremely desirable. Fair priced, which is really nice since every other complex is charging double. Conveniently located with close reach to basically all things food, shopping and major highways. I personally would not move if my husband and I didnt have to relocate due to job circumstances.

    Ive lived here for 9 years and plan on staying for a long time. They are quick to fix maintenance issues. Mostly friendly staff. Only one period of time (about 3 months) where I had a neighbor who occasionally had loud arguments with their partner, but problem was addressed and ultimately they were evicted. The rest of my time here has been very quiet. The layout of the one bedroom is perfect and well designed. I have a lot of windows and light. I rent a parking space, which I recommend, because otherwise parking can be a challenge if you come home late. Front gate adds a layer of security that I like. There have been problems with the gate, but since they did a major overhaul about a year ago, it has been working well. Located right next to a park with lots of walking paths. They do a great job building a sense of community with various activities. Grounds and pool area are kept nice. Overall, I am comfortable here and love the rent prices.

    This complex is great. Slightly older but they upgrade their apartments, they keep the grounds clean, enforce rules for a comfortable stay and maintenance is responsive. The staff is friendly; I have not a single issue with them and they executed the covid situation expertly. I cant say enough about this place. Save a few bucks from the newer fancier apartments and gain a lot more in this place. The only downside is the high school across the street. During football season the PA guy can be heard miles away.. but not a big issue; its Texas... We love our football.

Yes, the noise can be an issue, as is to be expected in an apartment complex, but it is still by far the best complex that weve lived in so far in the DFW area. This is probably the first apartment complex that we have experienced consistently exceptional service from both the leasing and maintenance staff.     I love it here!💖 Its my 2nd year and everytime theres some issue in my apt. staff are QUICK to respond, Always! Last Saturday evening, 11pm, I found my front area carpet soaked wet & immediately I went to its adjacent area, the laundry room which is already 2 inches of water. The water heater is leaking so I have to call & leave emergency Voice Mail. In 15 min. I got a return call and by midnight, Mr. Cesar Guevara, the 24/7 on call technician was fixing the leaking heater. By Sunday, Mr. Guevara, replaced the whole water heating system, bought & placed rubber pad under the tank. The front area, he took off the soaked rubber beneath the carpet. I really appreciate the EXTRA effort on a Sunday, even the office is closed. Come Monday, Mr. Guevara check & put blower on the wet carpet. He assured me that carpet crew will finish the job! 5 Star to Mr. Cesar Guevara & 5 Star to Gates of Allen Station! Happy Resident!🤩

    I searched lots of apartment in Allen, Mckiney and Plano area. This apartment is very clean and granite counter top, dark color cabinet, platinum frig, tile back splash, 2 blind, 9 ceiling, nice layout....This is the best one by far.

    Very efficient when it comes to fixing something when I call the maintenance there very fast and prompt I like the way that when the rain comes up and I do it online I can pay it online without have to go and bother anyone so they can just see it on a monitor screen and I love the way that we have security I was security is top-notch I will tell anyone and everyone about this place it is a very glorious and beautiful place to be!!!!#

    My husband and I loved this complex, it was our first apartment together and we were sad we had to leave but definitely recommend, good communication, only thing I didn’t like was people driving too fast through the complex, but other than that, we will miss it.
