    I like living here. The apt is not bad at all. Yes building 20 is leaving about which is concerning leaning a bit which I have to say is concerning. The trash piles up and there is a person on the 2nd floor of this building who literally puts loose trash outside of there apt which is gross. I also think in general the whole property is just a little bit dirty. Could use more cleaning. Pool is nice and pool area is clean. They are quick to respond to service requests, the staff has been nice and so are the neighbors.

    I have been a resident here going on 3 yrs now. Arnita the new mgr here is a breath of fresh air. She socializes with residents and gets the job done. Great manager wish she had been here when I 1st moved here. Thank you Arnita 4 your great customer service.

    Lived here for 5 years! Great floorplans and well built. Went through a couple Management changes good and bad however overall we enjoyed our years there. The new Management team with Josh & Trayce are real superstars! Thank you for the last 5 years :)

    Its a beautiful property. Lots of mature trees. The apartments are like townhomes from the front entry to the garage. I love the fact that the average length of time for the tenants is about 10 years! Thats amazing. The staff is great. DJ could not have been more helpful. Its definitely close to the top of my list.

    I inquired about an apartment here but ended up leasing elsewhere (to no fault of the Ellington). I can’t say anything about living here, but wanted to leave a review for Desiree. She reached out to me late one evening to follow up and find out what I wanted in my next home. I really appreciated her taking the time out of her night, especially as it was well outside of business hours. I felt heard and really enjoyed chatting with her.

    This was by far one of the most pleasant experiences I’ve had during my apartment search. Destiny was not only knowledgeable but a total sweetheart. I think she was getting ready to leave but took time to help me. Although, this property will not be my next home—I however, encourage others to go check it out.     I have lived here for about 4 years now and I can say that the management now is the best it has ever been! I used to have so many problems with the office that I was very very close to finding some place to live. 8 months ago I went to the office to turn in my 60-day notice and I met the new property manager Destiny. She took her time to explain to me that she was in the process of hiring a new Assistant Manager and that the property would be better. I decided to stay and I am so glad I did. The Assistant DJ has come in and I have seen nothing but improvements. I used to wait weeks for simple maintenance requests like a leaky faucet and now they get handled in a timely fashion. Calling up to the office used to be a pain because no one would answer and it was like the office would be closed at random times of the day. Now that Destiny and DJ had taken over, I have none of these issues. These women are about business and I am extremely happy that I decided to stay and give them a chance.

    Unbelievable community!!!! Ms. Trayce was so kind, so knowledgable, and so thorough!!!! She is the absolute best!!! Although she was the only person in office at the time, she managed to assist every person that sought her attention. True multitasker and professional. I had the pleasure to coincidentally meet a few of the residents and they were super friendly and genuine individuals!!!! I am super excited to become apart of this community!!!!

    Im a new resident, but so far Ive been having a great experience at the Ellington. My belongings were delivered today in a big box truck, and the maintenance crew cheerfully agreed to take on a few hours inconvenience and let us park the truck across the kart path to one of their supply sheds. They didnt have to do that—there were farther-flung spots on the property that were available for bigger moving vehicles—but they did, and were grateful. As a bonus, and partially because our moving help didnt have to walk back and forth as much, we were able to unload everything and get the truck off the property altogether within four hours! It was a win–win. Thanks to everybody in the office (Jessie, DJ, and Destiny) and especially to the maintenance crew (I was speaking with Erien) for helping us find a workable solution to an unexpected problem.

    I had a water heater maintenance issue that was becoming a real nuisance. I complained to the management about the situation. DJ and her team responded immediately. They took the necessary steps to solve the issue and the maintenance team did a great job. Both the maintenance team and management team were extremely professional.steve

    The Ellington management and crew take care of the residents. I called on a Sunday night about my Central AC which had stopped working. Not good on a hot June night!I received a return phone call within minutes and a member of the staff at my door in a few minutes more. Problem was temporarily resolved with a portable AC with a lasting solution within a day. Very grateful. 😊

    Had some issues with a water leak behind the wall from our laundry appliances. But the staff addressed the issue as soon as we filed a maintenance request, they got it fixed within a few days and they kept us updated the whole way. great stuff, thank you guys!

    My husband went to visit the complex. Were looking for a new home. I love the complex it looks very quiet and he showed me the floorplans. However, somehow the prices jumped from $1700 to 1900 with a span of 24 hrs. This was disappointing to me. Hopefully in the near future we may circle back.

    I think the clubhouse could be run better, it’s closed at times it’s supposed to be open and the coffee machine is frequently deficient. Also I’m hoping the grills at the pool are working this year. They should really be replaced, although I haven’t been out there in a while maybe they have.

    I was a resident here for well over a year, and one thing I must say, is that the floor plans/architecture is unlike any complex within the Plano area. Everything about these units are very unique and aesthetically pleasing. For example, I had one of the units with a multi-floor plan. What was appealing to me about this type of floor plan, is the fact that you don’t feel as cramped as you normally would feel inside of a regular apartment. Multi level floor plans WITH an attached garage is impossible to find except here. The only drawback to this would be the many, many stairs. Aside from the cleanliness from all of the renovating and the apartments being in such a key area of Plano, the main thing that I enjoyed the most was the staff. The staff from the maintenance men all the way to the property manager are all exceptional at what they do. Destiny is extremely down to earth and is always willing to accommodate and help out any of her residents. I’d continue living there had I not had some unexpected life changes occur.

    Just moved in yesterday and the property and curb appeal is gorgeous. Then I walked into my apartment sign unseen and WOW, I am so happy with my new home! The time to detail and cleanliness of the apartment and the community is awesome!!

    Missing the Ellington so much! Was there for almost three years but needed to leave due to how expensive it got. The place itself was amazing never had any issues, maintenance cleaned/fixed anything I needed with no hesitation and within less than 48hrs. I absolutely adore Destiny at the front office! Wish I could’ve stayed for a few more years! Best apartment/townhome I’ve lived in since I’ve been in Dallas. I am sure the new upgrades are amazing too! Quiet, neighbors are sweet and the pool is never crowded.

    I am a big fan of the Ellington and lived here for a year up to last month. I was impressed at how well the space is used in the apartments. Very nice floorplans. I went with one that has an attached garage and I loved it. The location cant be beat if you value being close to shopping centers and restaurants. Its also super close (~5 min drive) to a world class climbing gym which I valued highly.The area felt safe to me and neighbors seemed nice although mostly kept to themselves.The biggest highlight of all for me was the staff. In particular DJ (Dejonae) went above and beyond to be helpful and make me feel welcomed and like I belonged in the community.

    I loved staying at the Ellington had to move for work or I would have stayed there forever ..DJ and Jessie are the kindest souls always willing to go above and beyond to Address or fix issues.. efficient with communication . Jessie is amazing at what he does as well the Ellington is really lucky to have them on their team !

    I have been a resident for the past 1 month.The management has changed since March of this year.The reviews about management no way reflects the way the team manages things here.Starting with Janet - She patiently showed me the apartment around 3 times without any push to sell it. She answered all the questions candidly.The community itself is very well managed. Clean and maintained well. Rents probably are slightly higher but are worth given the community. Issues get fixed fast if any.The Maintainace team are very friendly and effective about getting work done. Especially Felix and others.I recommend anyone looking for an apartment to move to this community.

    I love living here.• Even tho the self declare as ‘Pet-friendly’ The first year lease Housing Management Team has flipped 3 times, so I have had to continually resubmit the documents to have my dog deemed ‘approved’. Mean mile they’ve let 1 of the 2 trees in the small ‘dog park’ die and have replaced the muddy grass for orange cat litter….•Rent has increased 10% in 12 months. During which, 2 months the club house and gym were unavailable due to updates (nothing was actually done to the gym, it was just closed). Meanwhile the ground (including all the way up to the front door) were splatter-painted when they repainted everything.•The ‘security gates’ (2 front, one rear) have never worked.BUT: great, quiet neighborhood. Great access to GBT and NDT. Shopping for home, pet, drug store, and convenience stores all within walking distance. Nearby are gyms,restaurants, and bars too.

    I have had the best experience residing here at The Ellington, The new manager is awesome and also her assistant manager Cynthia. The grounds are very well kept up with along with their amenities this is a very calm and quiet community. Office staff is great! I would most definitely recommend this as your new home!

    Corporate of Ellington I want to say this I want to thank DJ and destiny for really helping me and I want you all know the office don’t run good if them two not in the office. I want to say the maintenance guy are wonderful and u will never find no one like them hard work. Ellington apt homes are the best and I love were I stay even tho I pay 2600 it’s worth it.     I just want to say Cynthia was awesome and answered all my questions, she explained to me about the rules and all the stuff I will be needing to start my process. I love how peaceful and friendly the apartments feel once i was there getting a tour. I had a couple more questions i forgot to ask when i left i called the office and Cynthia once again helped me with all my questions. The place looks awesome and office is very welcoming. If you go by ask for Cynthia i know she will make you feel well informed about the place.

    I have lived at The Ellington for a month now, and have nothing but great things to say about this community! The property manager Destiny and the office staff have been so helpful, and made my move such an easy transition. The upgrades are beautiful and the community is kept immaculate. Maintenance really takes care of any issues you have. It is truly a hidden gem here in Plano. I give this community 5 stars! I would definitely recommend to anyone looking to lease an apartment here in this area.

    My husband, our dog and I have lived at The Ellington for the past 6 months and it has been an amazing experience. The management team really goes above and beyond to make sure we feel happy. They are constantly having very fun and interactive activities and initiatives for the residents. And they are very pet friendly which is always a great plus.

    They were as informative as possible. They all seem fairly new to the property. Was going thru a renovation so leasing office was in an apt temporarily. The manager was on her first day there but had managed for several yrs and was open to say she was still getting things down which was understandable. Called back with a question they said the assistant Manager would return my call which never happen but all in all it was a nice property just didn’t have the floor plan I wanted.

    Im surprised at how terrible the previous reviews make the place sound! I have lived here for the past 2.5 years and have absolutely loved the experience! The apartments are clean and well kept and I have barely ever had any issues with the appliances. Even if something were to break down, the maintenance team is fabulous and it gets fixed in a day. You can take my word for it, since I have lived in 2 different apartments at Marquette at Preston park. I agree the apartments are older, but the newer residents wont have a problem since the management is updating every new apartment they lease. I just moved into a newly renovated one and it has everything new... from carpets, to appliances, to light fixtures. The little welcome basket kept in my new apartment with a handwritten note was the sweetest, most thoughtful little gift. Tim, Christina and Dorothy at the leasing office do a great job with being on top of everything. I am very satisfied with my current living experience and hope that the new residents feel the same way.

    The Ellington was my first apartment/home I experienced in the Dallas area.I did a slight down grade to Houston.But I must say,I enjoyed it &Love the layout&attached garage. (512)It’s a lil pricey but you will definitely get what you pay for in the Beautiful “City of Plano”.Lastly Management (Dj) is The Best.!Thanks DJ

    I have to say Ive been here 5 years and have no complaints. Christina in the office is amazing. You will be taken care of. I read some of the other reviews and can honestly say Ive never once had a problem with staff or maintenance. Edison in maintenance is awesome. Highly recommend if you are not wanting to be around a lot of noise or parties. Very spacious homes:)

    I lived here on 2 separate occasions. My last stay was for about 7 years. I think living there for 7 years gave me some experience to comment on what Marquette has to offer. This is a great place to live! Hands down! The entire staff is top rate. They are always willing to help. The maintenance team is the best. You would be hard pressed to find a better team of folks looking out for your apartment home. The apartments are beautiful inside and well maintained. I work from home and take my living space very seriously. I was there during 2 different management teams. Brooke passed the management baton to Tim, Christine and the wonderful Dorothy. They did not miss a beat. Now we all know everything doesn’t always go as planned...so yes I had issues come up but I knew I could pick up the phone and things would get handled. Frank and Edson went above and beyond to make sure my maintenance requests were handled. I love the city I’m in now but I really miss living at Marquette!

    From my initial call to look at a apartment it was amazing. Gina was outstanding and very professional. She showed me a two bedroom which was very nice as well as went over my options on leasing. Two days later she called me to tell me I was approved and today I moved in. The Marquette at Preston Park is lovely, very peaceful and I’m excited about living here. Gina you’re the Greatest!

    I dont understand why anyone would rate this apartment complex anything less than 5 stars. Ive lived here for close to 3 years. The staff is very friendly. The amount of events and free stuff that the community offers is amazing. Anything from free food, to pool events, pizza parties, beer and chat, movie events, etc. The apartments themselves are quite and close to so many great places to eat, shop and do groceries at. The only con I can think of is the constant battle for finding a good parking space but outside of that everything else has been amazing.10/10 would instantly recommend this place (and have before) to anyone.

    Ive only lived here for a few months, but I have ZERO complaints. Even though we just moved in, we wanted a bigger space. Management made this the easiest process for my husband and I and had it taken care of within one week. The location is very tucked away and the complex stays pretty quiet. Highly recommend if you are looking at the Plano area! Also VERY dog friendly.

    Mostly a good experience for us. Maintenance requests are handled promptly - Edson the fix-it guy is awesome and provides great customer service. Plenty of parking, with garages and covered parking avaialble. There is a tiny dog park. Many people have dogs, and there are a few idiots who dont clean up after them, though 95% do. The pool area is very nice.Its a very convenient location for shopping, restaurants, and also close to the PGBT and Dallas North Tollway - making it a quick shot to either DFW airport or Dallas Love Field. The folks in the office are pretty nice.The tvs in the workout room work, but the remote controls seems to be always be missing - please fix that !

    Edit: My boyfriend ended up touring these apartments & liked the layout. Niveen has been very helpful & patient with the application process. Thank you Marquette @ Preston for hiring Niveen. I hope the other leasing agents are like her.(1star) I was looking forward to know about prices on your two bedrooms here, so I called. Sadly, I was answered by a rude woman. I said the name of the apartments incorrectly & she corrected me, then hung up. I hope you guys haven’t lost anyone else’s interest like you’ve lost mine due to that inconsiderate leasing agent.
