    Lived here August 2023-February 2025. The leasing agent, Donna, is wonderful to work with. She is so kind and empathetic, and she works to find solutions to problems. The maintenance team is quick to respond to issues. The apartment is close to UT (walking distance to all of campus) and Hyde Park.

    This is a clean, quiet community with a relatively low rent fee. Most importantly, it is only about half a mile from UT Austin, which offers great convenience to UT students, especially those majoring in Art, Law, and Engineering. The lease officer Donna is very friendly and warm-hearted. I frequently contact her by email and she usually replies within a few hours. She also provided detailed answers to all my questions about electricity, water, and Internet fees. Highly recommended!

    Great community with a decent rental rate relative to the Austin Area. Very close to the UT campus and the management is friendly and responsive.

    What a wonderful place to call home! The Eastwood is clean, well organized, attentive to resident needs and the location rocks. Our lease officer Donna goes out of her way to ensure each of the residents is taken care of. She has truely been a blessing, making our move in process easy and simple. I highly reccomend this complex to anyone looking in this area.

    Management and maintenance were both very responsive. I always got a response from both within 24 hours and they were very polite.

    Decent apartment, had serious issues when I first moved in. Seems to be under new management and getting better. Both the Jays with the maintenance team are amazing, especially Jay Romani. They respond quickly to my maintenance requests and are friendly. I feel safe at this apartment

    Edit: The new management is just a little slow but gets the job done! shout out to Gloria!Old Review: Jay Romani in the maintenance team is amazing. She helps out with everything mentioned in work orders and beyond that. The team had also helped with the move in. They were very clear with the whole process. Specially Alex was a great help!.Whenever an order is placed always ask for Jay Romani.Also, they now have the leasing office located on site. And they respond efficiently to all emails.

    I love the location, easy transportation to campus. Close to H‑E‑B too. Shout out to Jay Romani for cleaning the pool Mon - Fri daily. When I moved in last summer it was not in use because it was very dirty. I like swimming. The pool is nice but rent is very high as a working student.

    I would like to give a big shoutout to Jay Romani and the maintenance team. Our work order was promptly fulfilled and everything was done really fast. Everything was left tidy and clean in our unit, unlike previous occasions. The pool has also received excellent maintenance and we can finally use it with the assurance that it looks clean.

    The apartment is in a great location downtown near campus, but is still quiet. Its not the most luxurious, but you cant beat it for the price. I know the management recently shifted, and Ive already noticed an improvement in service requests and hospitality!

    I had planned on moving into a nearby apartment community this past week that unfortunately was not ready for my move in. With school starting soon, I needed a place to stay and thankfully, just down the street, I found The Eastwood.     Great location accross from campus. The new management company is SOOO much better than the previous manager. Ill stay here through graduation and would recommend to anyone needing to be close to the law or business school that wants something quiter and more accessible than West Campus.

    I mean lets be honest it’s not pristine… but with so much new construction going everything can’t be brand new. For the price and location however it’s going to be the next place I move. I played way too much on a new place that’s the same distance away more south of the city but have to deal with traffic getting in and out of town south of the river. The Manager Karly was a great help and tipped me off to a couple of spots to grab some eats and drinks a quick Uber ride away. See y’all soon!

    The new manager Carly has been really helpful and has made my experience much more enjoyable! I’m happy to see that things are already getting better. This location is close to downtown and campus so it’s easy to get around since I’m close to everything.
