Ive had a great experience living at The Eastern.The apartments may be on the smaller side, but theyre perfect for the price and come with fantastic new appliances that make day-to-day living really convenient. The property manager, Coralina, is incredibly helpful and always goes above and beyond to address any concerns. Maintenance is also super quick—any issue Ive had was resolved within a day. Overall, its a comfortable and well-maintained place to call home!

I’ve been here almost a year and though no place you move into will be like new if it isn’t new everywhere even new builds have issues after so long , saying that to say since I’ve been here Carolina has answered every problem I’ve run into with professionalism and understanding even if I wasn’t cause I’ll panic she’s literally made sure every problem gets fixed for me immediately, quiet area honestly I haven’t had any real issues minor fixes that are immediately fixed I appreciate her as a leasing manager she’s doing a wonderful job if you ask me. I gotta say a big thanks to Erin, my realtor, and an even bigger thanks to Mariah. I get that management may be shifting all the time, but you cant be more grateful for a nice community. You dont see anything out of the ordinary. The homeless come in hordes after 1:30 am 😂😅, but they are cracked out one by one. By the crack of dawn, theyre gone, so who cares if the apartment across the street looks run down? Thats not the point. The Eastern has been very welcoming so far. The management is accommodating and almost punctual, even though my washer and dryer came a bit late. But who cares? Its what you expect when you move into something nice, so to speak, right? Absolutely!If you havent dealt with Priya, she is very understanding and will get the task done (your personal Eastern Apartment AI). So far, the community seems to be friendly. As a business professional, you dont see any weird stuff at all. Everyone seems very nice and welcoming. If you work in Downtown, this is the perfect place to be!I know that I freaking love it thus far! If you are not patient with Mariah or management, you wont get far 💯. The apartment is up to par, and its amazing to see what the Eastern Apartments have to offer. FR, no cap, no kizzy—one hell of an apartment!2024**Updated Review: Eastern Apartments**Despite some initial issues with mold, I have found the property management at Eastern Apartments to be very understanding and responsive. Whenever I had situations that needed addressing, they were handled promptly and professionally. All work orders have been completed on time, which is contrary to some of the negative reviews Ive seen. Ultimately, a lot depends on personal cleanliness, but even though my apartment was affected by mold, the complex took swift action. They even offered me a transfer to a treated unit that has been confirmed to be mold-free.I want to highlight that Eastern Apartments and their associates have been very helpful during my extended stay. As I mentioned in my previous review, while management may experience turnover, communication remains consistent, especially with Priya. Caroline, the current manager, has done an excellent job addressing the issues that the previous management didnt tackle. Kudos to her for listening to everyone’s feedback. I truly understand Chelsy Haynes the last property manager didnt take care of anything swiftly.The community here is fantastic with some neighbors keeping to themselves and others being more social. Its a no-judgment zone, allowing you to live as you wish. If you’re considering a stay at Eastern Apartments, I highly recommend it. If you’re like me and prefer things clean, just carry some basic cleaning supplies daily or weekly and Oraban spray and use it every three months. The most you’ll encounter are tiny corner house spiders, which are easily managed. Those get vacuumed up with my dyson monthly no matter how hungry or full they are lol.Security here is solid with no break-ins, although there were a few incidents with homeless individuals sleeping on the stairs when the door locks were being changed.The maintenance team is excellent. They communicate well, wear booties or take off their shoes when entering, and respect your home. The new maintenance guy is professional and efficient. As someone knowledgeable in various trades, I can say he knows what he’s doing. Always made sure to lock the door with the palm when exiting—wonderful!Overall, this review emphasizes the importance of respect, clear communication, and patience. If you keep these in mind, your tasks will get done. I am happy to continue my stay at Eastern Apartments.

I’ve lived at the eastern for 2.5 years. Management is fantastic and super responsive to maintenance work orders. Such a cute little modern spot for one at an affordable price. The area might be questionable but I can say it’s up and coming, no doubt. It’s grown over the years I’ve been here.

This is September 2024. I am a student and current resident at The Eastern Apartments. First off, there is absolutely NO mold inside the apartment. I was initially hesitant to move in because of the Google reviews, just like you probably are now! But after confirming with my agent, Bo, he assured me that there’s no mold at all—and he wasn’t lying (at least in my building, 1519). However, I can’t speak for the other buildings.They are also very efficient at problem-solving. Some reviews mentioned it’s hard to reach out to the management, but Carolina, the manager, has an office right in the building. She might not be there all the time, but you can usually reach her, if not today, then tomorrow. She even helped me set up my electric account!Once, the washer didn’t work, so I sent Carolina an email. She responded right away, and the maintenance guy (Alvin, who is humble and awesome), got it fixed on the same day.And f youre curious, I’m just 10 minutes away from downtown Dallas, and it’s easy to access anywhere because Dallas is like a spider web, and The Eastern is right in the middle of it. I would describe this as an old but newly developing area, if that makes sense to you. I also feel safe living here, especially when I see people casually walking their dogs around 6 to 7pm—usually a good sign of a safe neighborhood!In conclusion, this is the most affordable along Ross Ave, password gated community, with an on-site manager/maintenance team, right in the heart of Dallas.Thank you for reading. It took me a while to figure all this out, so I hope this will be helpful if you’re moving in as a couple or single!Edit: Bo, my agent, randomly sent me a text to check in and see how I was doing. When I first moved in, he helped me carry my couch and my full-size bed with the frame into my place. I think that’s the definition of a full service!

The Eastern has been a wonderful place to live. The apartments are updated with nice countertops, cabinets and new stainless steel appliances, in a great location. The maintenance staff, guided by Carolina and the management team have all been great to work with.

My boyfriend and I toured many apartments and this one caught our attention and was the best option! Everyone was so nice and welcoming especially Carolina she was so great, it is a clean and well kept community. When we walked around we did make sure to pay attention to everything and we were so surprised by everything! Definitely recommend touring and signing a lease here!!!

I have been living here for about 4 months now and i can truly say I love it. It’s a small community right in the middle of everything. Maintenance is prompt, apartments are nice and up to date. Valet trash through the week. Built in washer and dryers, what more could you ask for. Internet service does have to be through Spectrum but it’s not that bad. I love it here and have already recommended 3 of my peers here.

I was so impressed with the customer service. As soon as I walked in. Chelsey the property manager, greeted me at the front door. Chesley new my name and was expecting me. After visiting her sister Property The Addison. Erica, must had called to let them know I was on my way. This was a huge time saving. Chelsey, was ready with key and had all my information, so it made it easier for me. Looking for an apartment is very frustrating and time consuming. I will defiantly recommend this properties to friends and family.
