    Amazing community manager Nikki. Very welcoming, made the whole touring fun and good energy. Really cares about the residents and their wants/needs(hard to find these days)! She let us know all the information we needed to know that would help make our decision. You can tell she loves what she does, The Dayton is lucky to have her!!

    I worked with Adriana directly. She was very helpful with the move in process and making serious that I was comfortable with the process. The only problem I had moving in was the apartment was clean just not to my standards. It could been cleaned a lot better. Especially the bathrooms. The new models don’t have fire extinguisher in them which is insane to me. Lastly there were ants all in the main bedroom. Other than that it is a very quiet area and a nice place to stay.

    The best moving experience I had so far. All issues reported were resolved on prompt and request status, updates were notified via text messages. Great work by team @theDayton especially Adrianna for handling the leasing process smoothly. Will definitely recommend for anyone looking for affordable living in safe secure place in Plano near big companies

    Update: I finally got my deposit check back today! I really appreciate Nikki for resolving my problem. She was very sweet and kind. Shes definitely efficient. I am very pleased on how she handled things and how she took accountability. I can tell she loves doing her job. Good job on hiring her. She will definitely turn the Dayton apartments around. She should get a raise ;)I lived there about years ago, and everything was great during my lease term Then, when it was time for me to move out, I was promised to get my deposit back within 30 days after moving out. It has been two years, and I still havent received anything. Every time I contact them, they say they will get back to me. That never happens. I will just say stay away from them, theyre very terrible.

    I moved in around March the ladies made it very easy. They even helped to get me approved with my bad credit but with a co signer I finally was approved I love my cottage. I havent really had any issues except a little leak above my shower which I put in my work order and within 7 days the problem was fixed. And shoutout to the maintenance Thank you for not messing up my bathroom 🙂. My stay has been great so far its quiet no crime I love it. Im glad I choose The Dayton!

    I have lived at The Dayton 14 years. Our apartment management company changed in July, 2022, and this is mentioned in other reviews. Our current manager, Nikki, is doing a very good job of addressing resident concerns and providing stability as we complete the transition from the previous management company.I believe one of the most important aspects of apartment management is the quality of maintenance. Jerry, our head of maintenance, is terrific. He is genuinely concerned about the well-being of the residents here and has done much for me personally. Jerry and the rest of the maintenance staff work very hard to properly maintain the property. Also, maintenance requests are handled very promptly.

    I met with a lovely leasing agent, her name escapes me but she was pleasant and friendly and happily answered all of the questions that I had for her. I got to view 2 apartments and the cottage one was really pretty and quaint and I loved the flooring. The kitchen was a little small for my liking but the apartment is definitely in my consider pile as a future rental option.

    Nicely reappointed unit for an older complex. Apartment is warm and cozy with a nice patio and storage. I noticed a change for the better in leasing staff in the last couple of months. Maintenance crew are always sweet and helpful. I noticed that they may have changed the way work orders get processed and it seems a little faster too.

    Staying at this place was awesome, the place is clean, parking was wonderful the leasing office team was very welcoming. I didnt have anything to complain about everything was on top 10. Just the rentals were too way high when my lease ended other than that everything was beautiful.

    My apt was quiet and large for a 1 bedroom. Everyone in the office has been very nice and helpful. The apartment complex itself is in a great location near shopping, HEB, on a bus line and within .5 of a mile to another bus line so getting around is easy if you are without a car.

    It was great being here. I was provided with brand new amenities. and home is so spacious however I feel the closet are less in count or small in size. Perhaps it might be for my apartments type.I love the stay here and enjoyed a lot.

    I have been living at The Dayton for almost a year now with my 3 year old daughter. We have absolutely loved living at this complex. Maintenance issues are always fixed very fast, they communicate really well and maintenance are also VERY polite and friendly! I have not encountered a single issue living here and feel very safe and comfortable at The Dayton. We are so sad to be leaving as we embark on a new journey out of state but if we ever move back to Plano, The Dayton will be the first place we consider!

    Had a tour with I believe her name was Alyssa? Don’t have her card on me rn, but she was wonderful. We’ve toured apartments and it’s likely we’re coming back. Alyssa was kind enough to still give us a tour in the pouring rain and was very inviting, we highly appreciate it!

    I’ve been here for almost a year now. It’s a lovely apartment complex. The management is super helpful any time I need assistance and they’re always reaching out to the community here. I just renewed for another year and am very thankful to live in my cozy home with lovely neighbors all around!

    I just moved into a remodeled unit at The Dayton and I felt good about it from my first visit. Michelle helped me every step of the way and went above and beyond to make it a smooth and comfortable process for me and my daughter! The complex is clean and tidy, it’s quiet and I feel very safe there already!

    My wife and I have been here for almost 3 years and overall dont have many complaints. Negatives are maintenance tends to take longer than expected but when they do arrive they are very friendly and professional and get the job done right the first time. The only other negative is neither of the two hot tubs work and havent for two years and it doesnt seem like they have any intention of fixing them any time soon. Otherwise the front office staff is awesome and the complex itself is mostly clean and quiet aside from the occasional kid raising hell, I would recommend this apartment to anyone.

    Still a great property. My only complaint is the washroom. The washers don’t wash well if you use powder and the dryers are a waste of money. Also, it’s ridiculous not to be able to wash without having to go to the office to load a pay card. Because if you need to wash an unplanned load of if the ineffective dryers didn’t dry your clothes after two rounds, you’re S.O.L. Still a great maintained property. Friendly staff. My apartment is super spacious, but there’s not a lot of storage place, but it is definitely a bargain in this neighborhood.

    I have lived at Summer Meadows since 2009. Back then the maintenance service was not very good. Maintenance requests tool for ever to get a response and often took several calls to get someone to finally show up. When they did the workmanship was substandard. Things have gradually improved since then. A while back Summer Meadows came under different management. Things are MUCH better. I am happy to say that the recent service requests that I have submitted have been responded to in a very timely fashion. The workmanship is also much improved so much that the maintenance technician came back to up grade a recent repair and do a more complete repair that would be longer lasting. He did this of his own volition, i believe because he saw a way to a better job. Thats a good thing that doesnt happen very often...anywhere.I am happy to say that things at Summer Meadows are much better under the current management than they were under the former. If you are considering apartment living I recommend Summer Meadows. The facility and grounds are well kept the management is friendly and courteous and prices are very reasonable.FYI: I usually dont do reviews...good or bad. Not generally prone to, but this time is an exception.Thanks

    I live in a two bedroom, two and half bath townhome near the office here. Overall its been a pleasant experience.Management is helpful and kind. They stayed late to give me the key the first day I moved in. It doesnt mean theyll put up with abuse, but theyre good people. Even the weekly pest control guy is nice! Its also really very quiet, especially considering I live by the pool and tennis court. Ive only heard my neighbor once when they were hammering nails to hang something. Plenty of greenery. Lots of wildlife lives nearby; rabbits and birds, not wolves and bears ;)One aspect that is perhaps negative is the repair work. It felt in the quick and dirty category. The one major problem I had was corrected, to which I am thankful, but I cant say I approved of the methodology. On the other hand, Im certainly not qualified to critique their work with any basis in fact.

    I like the place and the management, they are very helpful and patient. Its been 3 years and i was given awesome service from the summer meadows management. Apart from that regular pest control, cleanliness outside the apartment, security is top notch. I will continue staying here and recommend others to join out community. Its close to bus stop, walmart is under half miles , other shops like dollar tree, taco bell, pizza hut, starbucks etc are very close.I have always been pleased with the service I receive from the management. However, professionalism and ability to get to resolve maintenance request quickly exceeded my trust with them.

    I had a problem with my heater and opened a maintenance request. The team replaced a capacitor and thought it was fixed, but it still did not work for me. They promptly came out the next day and repaired the heater again and it works great with no issues before the cold weather arrived.

    I would like to thank Ashley, leasing staff , for all the follow-up on all the leasing formalities. On the day of move in , I submitted work order request for few items, it was attended the next day itself. All the support staff are very cooperative . Nice community , good schools nearby, definitely recommend for all.

    Went on a tour for this place and was nervous about all the mixed reviews. But it absolutely defied our expectations. Our tour was hosted by Ashley, she was honest and friendly and made the whole tour super enjoyable. Will be applying very soon!

    Ive lived here since 11/2016 and love it. Office staff are very nice. Maintenance made quick response, although I dont agree with their methods, they at least did come and rectify the issues I brought to their attention. Nice grounds. Mostly a quiet environment. They have replaced roofs, gutters and parking awnings. I would recommend this place!!

    I appreciate the understanding I recieved as a tenant at The Dayton. Management was so professional and always made sure all repairs were handled asap!! Very pleasant environment and clean. I loved the service i reciwved and I would refer anyone to rent their good place good people and great atmosphere and a great location.

    So far so good. Only issue is my patio for is stuck shut and I can’t open the door. I think the lock is broke. Other then that it’s smooth sailing.Update: they gave me a new apartment and hired movers. For me to move into it. Enjoying my new apartment.

    This apartment complex was a great place to live. It always felt like home. The staff is absolutely amazing and so sweet. Tequitta the financial advisor was always so generous to us when we were in need of help. I would consider moving here if you’re looking for a nice quiet complex to stay at. Me and my boyfriend lived here for two years and had nothing but the best experience.This place is amazing and in a desirable location!

    The apartments are old but are kept well. The staff is nice and when requested for all our maintenance issues have been promptly taken care of. For its location, the prices are moderate and the neighbours are very nice. All shopping outlets and eateries are nearby. If you not looking for a super fancy place to stay but a nicely located, moderately priced apts with good folks, shopping and school around, you can look for Summer Meadows as an option.

    I lived here in 2011. I know why late so long to post, but I am.I really enjoyed this place. The woman that got us into the apartment was sooo nice. I wish I could remember her name. She was an absolute doll. She was so pleasant and kind. Also very very helpful.The complex is really nice and quite. The pool was so nice and the athletic complex small but had good machines.Apartment nice and spacious. Parking not bad. You used to get one free covered parking spot. Is was in a really nice neighborhood. I loved it.Maintenance was always came on the double.I wanted to stay there longer but they raised the rent, so I could not afford the increase.

    Summer Meadows is a great community in a fantastic neighborhood. Shopping and restaurants are within walking distance. I love to run and Archgate Park is where I run from my front door. The office staff is nice. The apartments are a good value for the area.
