I had a fantastic experience at Cove Apartments, thanks to the new management team and especially Angelica, the apartment manager. She made the lease renewal process incredibly smooth and easy, which I really appreciated. Angelica was always helpful and professional, ensuring everything was taken care of promptly. Since the community came under new management, Ive noticed a significant improvement. The property is well-maintained, neat, and clean, making it a pleasant place to live. Overall, Im very happy with my experience at Cove Apartments and highly recommend it!

I had a really great experience at the Cove recently. I am planning to move soon and I visited the Cove and met with Courtney. I didnt have an appointment but she greeted me warmly and seemed genuinely glad to see me and give me a tour. She provided lots of information about the community and I didnt feel rushed at all as we talked over the questions I had. I liked everything I saw, and when in our discussion a potential obstacle to my tenancy arose, she didnt just shrug and oh well sorry, quite the reverse. She offered to do some further research,make some inquiries up the chain of command , so to speak, and promised to get back to me one way or the other-- and she did just that. I heard back in two days with an answer and the problem was resolved. Courtney is a real Problem Solver, and that means a lot to have allies working for you who want to make your experience in your home place a positive one. I think Courtney speaks well for the high standard the Cove sets for its employees. If youre looking for a new apartment homeI highly recommend visiting the Cove!!

I have enjoyed living here the past 5 years. Management is responsive and polite. Maintenance is prompt. Idid have some issues that did not get completely resolved but it doesnt affect my overall experience. I had new neighbors with 3 small children that were very loud above me. I couldnt tolerate it amy longer. But I would highly recommended this community!

A/C unit stopped blowing air. I made them aware of the situation, and they notified maintenance immediately. I went to work, and came home to a nice air conditioned home, like nothing ever happened. (While they fixed the problem, I was notified via email, of the progress, while at work, through their online portal). So I knew it was getting fixed. Then they checked back 2 days later, to make sure everything is working good.I havent had any problems, since my move in, and the new management has been on top of things, since day 1! I dont have major foundation issues, or cracks, or any infestation problem. Ive had a couple of roaches, but we live in Texas... lol. Ive had 0 rats in my place. Love that I chose here!They just put new shingles on every building, and fixed the pool. Ive washed my laundry, 20 times, by now, and havent had 1 problem (plus it shows on the app for laundry, the times left on each load, which is awesome, and also shows which washer/dryers are available to use, before even going down there). Theyre on top of things here! They just got new manangment. Give them time! Completely happy

Lived here a year and we are moving to Oregon! Otherwise I’d stay here! The grounds are well kept. The maintenance crew very well trained and friendly! Management is top of the order, very friendly , helpful and quick to respond to problems or questions! This is a hidden gem in Clear Lake. Don’t waste your money live here!

The efficiency of the staff to get me moved in as quick as possible was very appreciated. For the price I am paying, they have decent first time apartments. Some of the buildings have foundation issues, but the one I chose was semi renovated. They had some scratches in the vinyl flooring. The shower head in the apartment I chose was a good height, but the classic apartments have a low shower head. The piping needs to be sealed off from the wall so there’s no holes. The pool area looks really clean and they have a really smart card system for their laundry facilities. The property manager in particular was very helpful throughout the whole process of moving in.

I came in with my roommate just a few weeks ago to ask some questions. We took a tour with the property manager, Rebecca, who answered all of our questions and then some.We ended up deciding to lease here at the Cove, and Briana kept in touch with us throughout the entire process. She checked in with us often, and even reached out after we moved to make sure there were no issues.Over all, The Cove has a very friendly and welcoming staff. The property is well-kept and they have been prompt to respond to any issues.Definitely enjoying our new home!

We have lived here for about 1 year and we love it here! The office staff is very kind, attentive and professional. The maintenance staff is very competent, efficient, and friendly. All staff members have responded quickly to our inquiries and needs. We have a 2 bedroom/2 bath apartment and it is very large, particularly the den area, closets and bathrooms. Our neighbors are friendly and quiet. We feel very safe here, and have had no problems. The location is extremely convenient for every kind of shopping or dining. We love our view of the beautiful pool area. I would highly recommend these apartments to anyone, including those with children and/or pets.

This is my second time living at the Cove. The first time was back around 2013 and although my experience wasn’t terrible—I wasn’t 100% pleased. But, this time I’ve enjoyed it so much! Angelica was great with helping me move in. The maintenance manager came over personally on move in day to address some small concerns. Rebecca is always helpful and funny! I love how welcoming the office is and that they are open 7 days a week. The new management company has made great changes with the laundry facilities, sprinkler system, and work on the side walks. One of my favorite parts of this community is the diversity in the tenants. From families, to retirees, students, and singles—everyone enjoys the grounds, the pool, and everything The Cove has to offer. Also, there are some new faces in the office and the new leasing agents are so nice! They have personal experience because they live here too! So cool to know that they care just as much as I do about what happens at The Cove!

I have had no issues living here so far. Its been about 6 months. The staff is super friendly and inviting. Its evident they care about their residents. Since the community is relatively small, they even remember you and your name. The room I got looks very nice since its renovated. The only time I needed to call maintenance was for a clogged sink, and the service was fast. I have had no major issues with my neighbors. Look forward to continuing to live here.

Id recommend this place to anyone looking for fairly priced place to live with good management and excellent schools.My boyfriend lived here alone, so Ive been visiting here for a few years before I moved here. Before his lease expired, I experienced an apartment fire (different complex) and we decided to move in together. The Cove was really easy to work with, and got us into a bigger apartment together without much of a hassle. Management is easy to communicate with, which is a big deal and such a refreshing change compared to other places Ive lived. Someone is always in the office. Someone always answers the phone. Work orders and rent are dealt with through an app and that makes things SO easy. Management here is great, and theyre on it most of the time. They actually watch whats going on in their buildings and strive to create a peaceful and respectable neighborhood.Theyre quick to respond to work orders. Ive had average stuff like leaky sinks, and a mirror that fell, all taken care quickly and without any hassle. The best was with my AC, though. I live upstairs and when the summer months hit my apartment just wouldnt get cool. We found that the AC unit installed was too small for my apartment (this place is HUGE). They were really quick about replacing it with a unit thats the appropriate size.I NEVER HEAR OUR NEIGHBORS! This place is solid! My boyfriend moved a few times in the one bedroom apartments. He never heard anyone upstairs from him, regardless of the building he was in. Our two bedroom that is upstairs is solid, too! I could have elephants in roller skates that are bowling up here, and nobody would hear them. :)My daughter is an elementary school student at Falcon Pass, the local public school. Thats another review I need to go write. Fantastic schools, too. You wont regret sending your kids to school here.All in all, this is a great place to call home.

The staff at The Cove are very friendly. They are accommodating and responsive to my requests. The grounds at The Cove are beautiful as well, with mature oak trees surrounding the pool and grill area. My apartment is very spacious and comfortable, and the location is super convenient. I feel safe in this area, and the locked gates provide an added feeling of security. I looked at a lot of apartment complexes in this area, and The Cove was easily the best quality within my budget. The complementary coffee and cookies in the leasing office are a plus as well!

Keep your wits about you, but I have had a positive experience thus far.The community manager, Rebecca, is great to talk with and is kind yet effective; she adds a human touch and I love how honest she is once you get to know her.I’m not 100% pleased with maintenance but they work hard and are responsive to what you officially put in the system.They were nice enough to store a door and bulbs that I didn’t want to use.One of the gates doesn’t have a pedestrian exit, but they are refreshingly lenient with visitor parking.Their laundry machines can be difficult to operate.

After trudging through the wide array of apartments in the Bay Area, The Cove Apartments was seriously a breath of fresh air! Touring the apartments with Jada (ask for her to show you around, she answered all my questions honestly and promptly) I was impressed with amenities they offered! Ive been through everything from El Dorado to the other side of NASA, and they have a dog park, pool, grilling station, on-site laundry, and sensible pricing for the layouts they offer. Ive already used the pool several times, and everyone there always has great things to say about the complex! Most importantly, I feel super safe here knowing that the ladies in the office have my back. They are super quick to solve any issues, which are few and far between, and give a wide range of solutions! (Seriously, ask for Jada, she spent so much time helping me out and setting me up for success).

Just moved in this weekend. Had to move quickly due to personal reasons. Rebecca was the first person I interacted with. She was helpful and understanding! Moved in within a few days! Jada has also been so helpful! She’s answered all of my questions and concerns. Any issues I’ve had she was quick to get them scheduled for fixing! So far the neighbors are nice, parking is good. The unit is a bit older, but still super cute! Feels safe and like home so far. Hopefully it will be a good 12 months! :-)Will edit with any updates.

Great Apartment Community for Families. Moved in a year and few months ago and could not be any more happier with the Apartment space, Community amenities and staff members. Staff members Angelica, Melvin and Rebecca have always done anything in there capacity to help me and my family feel at home since day one. Super fast on responding apartment work orders. Only Cons that I can think of is that I wish my apartment was a little more updated with newer appliances and kitchen cabinets. But overall its a nice place to live in.

My family and I have loved living here. We are moving to a bigger apartment and the office staff have been so helpful. Not only does she make sure our concerns are taken care of, but she remembers the small details that separate a great apartment from an “ok” apartment! We love it here and we are happy to finally have the weather to use the beautiful pool!

Ive been living here for about 2.5 months now and I havent had any complaints. The staff is very nice and helpful. I moved here from Canada and they gave the extra mile during my moving. Some of my stuff arrived before myself and they put the boxes inside my apartment. They also took pictures of my unit and sent them to me via email so I would know how the unit really looked like. I like living here. It is quiet and pretty, and people seem very polite and friendly. I wouldnt live here my entire life because I am more of a downtown person. I like to walk and use the metro. Unfortunately, this area in Houston is not metro/ walker friendly.

I have lived in many apartments in my lifetime and this is by far the best living experience I have ever been a part of. The apartments are spacious and the management team is the best I have ever seen. They respond promptly and keep the place looking good. I have never had any issues they could not resolve in a timely fashion. Paulito, Javier, and Marvin are create such a warm presence and they go above and beyond in any repairs needed. They property manager is so nice and kind. She runs a tight ship. Shes always working on the property and making sure clients are keeping up with the Cove. Highly recommended!!!!Rajiv

Clear Lake is a nice area and the environment is great! Very quiet and clean property. I enjoy living at The Cove. Anytime I need something fixed, they always take care of me quickly. This is my third apartment I’ve lived at and I have to say that this is the best management that I’ve ever worked with.Rebecca had goes over and beyond to make me happy when I’ve had issues.They really make you feel appreciated at this property and they always are having events for residents.Maintenance is quick and usually responds on the same day.Location is great it’s close to restaurants and shopping. The property is quiet and the landscaping is beautiful. The only recommendation I would make is more visitor parking.But over all of this is a BEST community in the area for the price!

Family friendly community with A+ schools. Perfect 3ft. depth pool for little ones and office holds family events with dinner and fun for the kids every few months. New washers and dryers in the laundry rooms and updates being made daily. Office staff is very helpful and altho Linda will be missed by us all, Victoria and Angelica are an awesome team!

Excellent community with a genuinely dedicated management and staff. I have been living here for 5 years and never had a problem which has not been successfully resolved by the management. The Cove management team (Angelica, Victoria, Jennifer, & Linda) under the guidance of Rebecca has always been very helpful and sincere towards the residents. They are very welcoming, courteous and ever ready to assist. The maintenance staff (Javier, Marvin, Pablo) is very skilled and friendly. Most of the time they fix the problem within 24 hours.High ranked schools are within a mile with school bus pickup and drop at the Cove entrance gates. The University of Houston, Clear Lake is also less than a mile from the Cove leasing office and main entrance. The new washer and dryer are big in size and works great. I also like the fact that I no more have to use special laundry cards and that I can report any issues with machines with a mobile app. Parking has never been a problem. They are much disciplined about it. We all have a Cove parking sticker on our car. Bay Mart convenience store, Don Pico’s Mexican restaurant, Ashley’s donut (opens at 4:30 am), Ryan’s express dry cleaners, all are just outside the Cove boundary about 200 feet from my apartment. 

I’ve lived here for over a year now and never have had any problems. All the ladies in the office are amazing, as are the maintenance staff!!! They’re always looking for ways to improve the property and they make it feel very family-friend orientated. The $120 rent increase is a bit much but what can you do when its hard to find something reasonable for what youre already paying? Maintenance usually shows up within 48 hours of request. My only complaint with maintenance so far is the last time I had a request I asked they spray Lysol when they were finished. If I was dependent on them doing it I would still be waiting. If you plan on moving here, put aside money each month for your water bill; shouldnt be anymore than another $35-$40 a month, depending on your water consumption. One of these days Im going to get around to sitting by the pool.

Im a repeat resident meaning I have been here for more than one year and have to say this place is not what it used to be. The improvments are great! The place is fairly clean and kept quiet, the maintenance team does a good job addressing issues as they arise. The building arent new, but my apartment is secure and all of my appliances work like they are supposed to. We have regular pest control and I dont have an issue with bugs. So I say good job to the office team for keeping promises and making this a community worth living in.

Completely love my apartment! Moved here about a year ago and Ive honestly never had any problems as others describe. I think it has a lot to do with how you take care of your apartment. The cleaner the apt the less pest issues youll have. Plus you have to keep in mind that we live in Houston. Pest control is great, theyre here every week for resident request. Location is awesome you have easy accessibility to 45 and Galveston is only 30 mins away !! I absolutely recommend The Cove apartments, you wont regret it!

I love this place! best complex of the area. The staff is very friendly and efficient, and they organize very nice events for the residents. The amenities are in perfect condition, the pool area is really relaxing. It is well located and safe. Having gate parking is secure and keeping the strangers out of the sight.

Although the initial experience was not great, The management were willing to compromise and resolve the issue created by miscommunication on both parties. I will not get into the details of the compromise as I do not think it is fair to the propety manager to disclose that information, however the price became reasonable enough for me to get a unit, and overall satisfied with the eventual outcome.

I don’t understand why this place has negative reviews. I love it. If we have ever needed anything they are quick to help. Even minor stuff they are at the door ready to fix it. Everyday I go outside they are working on a new project. Painting the laundry room, re paving the sidewalk and I even think they are putting in a dog park now (that’s what it looks like). They constantly have cool parties in the office to promote the cove and get to know the residents. I give this place a 5. Thanks Rebecca and everyone else from the office for being so friendsly and sweet!❤️

The process of moving and finding a home is very stressful. The staff at The Cove helped and empathized they would make things as stress-free as possible. They definitely did not disappoint. Sometime last weekend there was a small emergency in my unit. I called and left a message on the emergency maintenance line. Within an hour Mr. Raul showed up and spent 2 hours fixing the problem I had. At this point he showed up @8:30pm and finished at 10:30pm. I left him a small tip. But I dont think thats enough. He came in on a Friday night to provide the best maintenance service I seen. Mr.Raul deserves some kind of bonus or raise.

Its a nice place w/ reasonable prices, neighbors are polite, nearby great shopping centers, schools, etc. Has a dog park and spacious parking but the laundry room rarely is working and you pay prices you expect to have a gym, in unit laundry, etc. The gate doesnt always work.For what you are getting its not amazing. They even sent letters not to use 3 ply toilet paper bc the plumbing is so old it cant handle modern toilet paper.

I’m a new tenant, and during the move-in process, called in a couple of work orders for minor Repair/Replace stuff. The Maintenance technician (Javier) came to do the work, and while doing so, found a couple of other issues that needed attention. Prior to his arrival, I found another minor issue that I hadn’t even had a chance to call in for a work order yet, and he took care of all of them, even the one that I hadn’t reported yet. While they are often under-appreciated, I can certainly appreciate the attention to detail, and the extra steps to provide the best result. Both thumbs up!

Ok, so the pool is really nice. The apartment I rent is one of the bigger ones, electricity is high bc they are old apartments and I have a vaulted ceiling. The office staff and maintenance workers are attentive and efficient; every work order I have placed got resolved within 24-48 hours. I especially honor Linda, Angelica, ans Rebecca who gracefully stand in the difficult role of managing pressure from both residents and the corporate owners of the property. Ive alwaya been able to come to the office and talk over any issues I have and come to a solution.If you are new to Texas, be aware there is a bedbug problem, especially in large cities. This complex has gone through extensive measures to eradicate any trace of them. As a result of their admirable efforts, if you do get a bedbug problem, you now have to pay for the pest control to kill them and in Houston, the going rate for the treatment is 400$, but there are installment options so ita pretty reasonable. Hope this is helpful for new residents.

Any issues we have had with bugs/ mice were well taken care of promptly by maintenance and with pest control and we barely see any roaches except the occasional one or 2 The staff there is always helpful and kind and extremely pleasant to deal with since bell residents took over.
