The Blockyard is a very nice apartment complex with a lot of great amenities. I did have a problem with my first unit after about a month living there as I think, being a new building, it has to work out some issues. However, management helped me complete a transfer unit request since I personally felt that living in a different unit would give me more peace of mind. Management even reimbursed me for moving costs which helped a long way and I can tell they are continuing to work on ensuring the building is kept up well.Overall the new place is nice with a great view and I’m happy to be here. My dog is also happy with the dog park and very dog-friendly walkable areas around the apartment complex.

Amazing, responsive, and helpful crew here at the Blockyard! They are always willing to go the extra mile to be sure we, as residents, get what we need! Great amenities on site and an incredible location. Bars, coffee, restaurants, and nature all within walking distance.

I have lived at the blockyard for 2 months so far. I love the amenities and the area around. The staff is really nice and quick to solve any issues I have had. Overall would highly recommend to anyone looking for a apartment downtown.

Living at the Blockyard has been an incredible experience so far. Elizabeth, JC, Yesenia, and Amy, the property managers, are hands down the best Ive ever encountered. They’re not only professional but also genuinely great people who are always attentive and quick to respond. The maintenance team, Laz and Miguel, deserve a special mention too—theyre outstanding, always making sure everything runs smoothly.The property itself is stunning. The amenities? Absolutely top-notch. From the gym and pool to the club room, coworking space, and courtyards, it feels like a resort — but right here on the East Side! Plus, you’ve got all the cool spots on Manor Road just a short walk away, and Mueller is conveniently across the street. Honestly, aside from the package room being hard to navigate it’s hard to imagine anything better.If you’re thinking about moving, you should definitely apply!

The blockyard has been an amazing living experience! I enjoyed their recent pool party with free food and drinks. The amenities are very aesthetic and kept clean. I LOVE the gym. All new equipment and every possible machine. My actual living space is quite nice and spacious. Kitchen and bathroom are great! Also, a great community and safe environment.The only few downsides Ive had is some bugs coming into my apartment, but I think its because Im on the first floor. Also, the flooring seems a bit cheap. When I moved in there were some glue stains and its easily damaged. This might not be good for long term. Lastly, the water here does not get very hot, but thats personal preference. Overall, its a nice place to stay!!

I moved into the Blockyard the first day it opened and have had a great experience so far. This is my favorite apartment complex that I’ve ever lived in. I highly recommend living here. The Blockyard staff is great and super helpful. You can tell they care about the tenants. They are quick to fix maintenance errors.The area is great, lots of food, coffee, ice cream, and bars all within walking distance. Being nice to the passenger train is a good perk to easy get to East 6th and Domain area.Overall the apartment is nice, you can tell builders cut a few corners to get it done quickly, but nothing major. The unit I’m in gets a ton of light. There are a few minor inconveniences that arise occasionally, but that is understandable.The gym is very nice and the coffee on tap is a great perk, but it is often out. The pool is nice as well, but since it’s located in the middle of the complex, there are limited tanning hours because it gets shaded in the evening.

Ive been at the Blockyard for a couple months now, and Ive truly enjoyed it. Yesenia is amazing, and the amenities are great! The location is also convenient for students since theres so many bus routes nearby that go to UT. My one complaint is that the floors arent that sound-proof and I can hear every single footstep of the person living above me and it can sound like stomping sometimes. Its definitely aggravating but other than that, everything has been great.

We just moved into The Blockyard after touring all the buildings in the area. Blockyard has the nicest amenities and floor plans hands down. The pool and gym are amazing, and our dogs love the dog park! Management staff is friendly and responsive. We are very excited to live here!

I’ve been a resident at The Blockyard for a couple months now and I’m thrilled to say I made the right choice. Everyone at the leasing office has been a pleasure to work with and are also super responsive whenever I had a question.The location is fantastic being right next to the MLK Red Line stop, the 18 & 20 bus lines, and right a long a protected bike lane.The amenities are top-tier and are constantly kept in great condition. I’d have no problem recommending this building.

Im still in the process of moving into the Blockyard and so far everything is great! HUGE thank you to Elizabeth and Yesenia in the leasing office for the smoothest move in (within 36 hours!). My unit is beautiful and Im so excited to check out the amenities

I moved in back in April and so far everything has been solid. The staff and amenities are all great. Love my apt layout and finishes. My only issue is with how confusing it is for delivery drivers to find their way into the building. More visible signage for leasing office, mail room, etc would be great. Or maybe if we had lockers instead of a package room.

The staff at the blockyard has made moving to Austin such a smooth process and stress free! They are very responsive and kind over the phone and via email. You can tell that they truly care about their tenants. I am grateful to be moving into a building with such incredible staff!

Moved in about 3 months ago and have been absolutely loving it! The location is fantastic - quick drive or train ride to downtown. The amenities are amazing and the area is very walkable which is perfect for taking my dog out! Highly recommend!

Ive been at the blockyard for 5 months now and I still love it. Facilities/amenities are nice and always clean. My only complaint would be the parking situation. I don’t like that my guests have to pay to park in the complex. Furthermore, its a waste of space as the first 2 floors are guest parking making floors 3/4 packed. Theres is also a lack of handicap parking available. Overall, I really like the complex and neighbors are very friendly.

My roommate and I are moving into the *beautiful* Blockyard in less than two weeks, and we could not be more thrilled. Easily has to be one of the best apartments I’ve seen in Austin. And our leasing agent, Elizabeth, is fantastic. She showed us all sorts of units that may be our perfect fit and she nailed it. On top of that she was available to answer all of our anxious moving questions, and got us signed into our lease with ease. She’s so rad, and we can’t wait to call The Blockyard home!

The experience living at the Blockyard has been fantastic so far. Elizabeth, JC, Yesenia, and Amy are the best property managers Ive ever had. They’re attentive, responsive, and all around great people! I can’t forget the maintenance team, Laz and Miguel; they are superb as well, taking care of our every need.The property itself is gorgeous. The amenities are 🔥 the gym, pool, club room, and courtyards feels like I live at a resort (Nope, just Austin). All the great spots on manor road are walking distance with Mueller across the street. Couldn’t ask for more.You should apply!
