I had a very good experience staying at the Ashton from August 2021 to July 2022. Tamika the property manager was a Godsend for me. I moved to the Tyler area and visited 8 other apartment complexes, finally ending on the Ashton. Tamika made everything oh so smooth and treated me so well. As for the room, it was clean and did not smell and met all of my needs. I also felt quite safe and secure at the complex. I would recommend giving this place a try!

I was able to do the whole process from another state. Jeb was extremely helpful, professional and knowledgeable. He guided through the steps and was very patient and friendly. I highly recommend! As an added note, I just arrived here in Tyler and the move in process was very smooth, organized and easy. I am very impressed with the property and the staff. They are very professional, knowledgeable and friendly. Best in class and I highly recommend!

Our time at the Ashton was one of the better experiences I’ve had living in an apartment complex in Tyler for the most part.The units are cute and mostly worth the price. The units themselves are a little dated and we needed some sort of repair (mostly plumbing related) every other month it seemed. Otherwise they were very comfortable and a nice place to call home.Maintenance kind of started going downhill during the year we spent there. When we moved in they would respond almost within the hour to assist. Towards the end our sink broke and it took them almost 3 weeks to address the problem. This was after I sent several emails and called about it. This was also the 3rd time we had to have them fix the same issue in the sink. Maintenance guy always made our place reek of cigarette smoke for a few days after coming in as well. The main guy they had at first was awesome but after he left the guys weren’t very personable.Not sure if it’s the same process, but instead of a deposit we paid a move in “fee” so all random move out “damages” had to come out of pocket, just a heads up.We also liked that they advertised that they had a security gate at the entrance, but I kid you not, it only worked for a total of 2 days the entire time we lived there. Luckily we never had any reason to feel unsafe in the neighborhood, but if that’s the reason you may be considering this place I’d make sure the gate is working first.Some neighbors are pretty disrespectful when it came to leaving trash everywhere. We’d come outside to random trash in front of our door weekly. There were even kids throwing trash into our patio area and off of balconies. Brought it up to the admin but nothing was ever done about it. Got worse by the time we moved out.They did add a nice sized dog park to the complex halfway through our stay which was cool! Our dog loved it and most of the neighborhood dogs were chill. All of our neighbors were really friendly as well. Overall it’d be a place I’d recommend to a friend. Just watch out for the little things.

He also scheduled a time for me to come in and look at an apartment the same day. I was very pleased with all the staff and enjoyed the tour in person. It didn’t take long at all for me to decide that this was the place for me. Thank you so much Jed for making this an incredible experience. 😀

Nice little apartments. We moved into one of their second story two bedroom units- always fun moving furniture up stairs but we got it. Its a small little community, it just makes a circle. Theres a really nice grassy area in the middle of all the buildings with a BBQ Pit, small playground(seriously this thing could be like 3x the size), and lots of room to relax outdoors. Each unit has a patio thats large enough to fit a few chairs and some plants.The move-in process was smooth as could be. Tamika was super helpful and informative(and patient. Sorry Tamika) The biggest thing that sold me on the apartments was her responsiveness. On several occasions Id send her an email, and get a call 5-10 minutes later. More often than not we ended up chattering away on the phone because shes just got that kind of personality that just keeps you talking.The place has its quirks. Calling the number on the google listing put me in automated phone line hell for a little while, but the actual office number is posted on the door and that always gets answered directly.

Tamika made this experience so amazing and easy!! Our move in date did get moved out further than we wanted, but she kept us updated and made sure we knew everything that was going on! She explained every little thing more than once and was very patient with us! She was even kind enough to do a virtual video call so we could see our new home! Very respectful! If you decide to rent from this complex, I hope you get Tamika. She will make you feel very welcome and right at home even before you get approved!! Thank you Tamika! You are the bomb!!

Move in process was quick and easy from start to finish. The staff has made every effort to make sure our concerns were taken care of promptly. All misc. fees outside of rent were clearly communicated prior to signing the lease. Tamika was especially helpful. Very happy to be living here so far.

Ms. Tamika Harris was amazing and made moving in to my first ever apartment amazing. She always answer my questions and always reply quickly on email and call backs. When I first move in the apartment it was amazing, but still had some small maintenance issues. I called and within 10 mins James showed up and fixed everything. I am looking forward to living here!

Tamika Hamlett did an awesome! job by explaining everything to me about the apartments. After going to several apartments here in Tyler I can say that Tamika gave the best customer service. She is the assistant manager AND leasing consultant at this property and made my moving process so easy and even referred me to an energy company and renters insurance company that are both affordable! She is so friendly, professional, and amazing at her job! She deserves a raise!!

Been living here almost 20 years and have no reason to leave. Staff is amazing, maintenance is great but rarely needed. Grounds and amenities are always being upgraded. Great location with easy access to gas stations, stores, restaurants, Mall and schools. Several are in walking distance. Community get togethers with staff and residents are always the biggest party and tons of fun. Absolutely the best place to be.

Can i just say how amazing tamika was and sweet and funny! She was also very on top of everything and helped me get everything done in a very timely manner. As this being my first apartment complex to rent from i have been looking for months to find the right place most places are really tiny. I wanted somewhere that even though it may not be a home it can feel like home. We had to call matinance woth a plumbing problem he was very fast and effective. He came by as quick as he could and fixed the problem right away. Cleaned up very well and was very professional. The staff follow up with a call the next day and was checking in on us and making sure everything was just right. Amazing customer service and a great place to live.

The property Manager Shalamar was so helpful and runs a tight ship! She keeps her complex professional, grounds are always beautiful, maintenance requests are repaired fast. Never heard noisy neighbors or witnessed any issues. Location is BEST !! Grocery store and many fast foods on premises make these apt best location. Shalamar doesnt treat you just like a tenant she treats you like a human, if you have problem she listens and has empathy! 10/10 recommend the Ashton for your next home!

Never have any issues and have lived here for 20 years. minor maintenances are handled quick and cleanly by Grant and James at your convenience. Any other concerns are handled by Tara or Shalamar in the office just as promptly. have always had only nice neighbors who in turn have also been long term residents. At this community everyone sort of knows everyone and its one big friends and family way of life. Just Awesome Living

Please read prior to moving in🌸🌸I personally lived here for a few years. I had 2 kids growing up in Whitehouse schools. So this was very great place to to walk out and put your child on the bus. My kids would take trash out at anytime without any safety concerns. The pool would only be shut down due to it needing safety cleaning or situations that require it to be shut off. Not once did I see a irregular maintenance man. The Tall White man that did the maintenance was always understanding and helpful. He was very, very smart and very dedicated. People tend to not like somethings when they are the problem. Everyone throwing trash on the ground causes a pile of trash to clean up every single day. Me personally didnt want cigg and dog poop all over. To make that place clean means having to upset those who break the rules. Sorry but its the truth!!!!I personally had a water situation one night and maintenance came in the middle of the night to help stop it. He also resolved all damages to me and neighbors. Not once in those years did I see a lazy or a harassing maintenance man that was racist or threatening. I personally saw his work ethic day in and day out. He was very smart and not swift to follow stupid peoples complaints. I know without a doubt that every time the gate was not closing or pool was shut down on a holiday...it was due to peoples related abuse of the property. He would ask if you lived there to make sure our kids had safety and that you didnt just come to use and abuse our pools ect... We that lived there with the right reasons, our complaints, or request had no problems ever. So to the others that make false complaints, I find it sicking because we absolutely had a wonderful place to live. Thank you Ashtons and maintenance staff. Your absolutely worth the money to live In a great school district and have so many great memories as I do living at the Ashtons.

Nice and friendly staff. Great location and its Whitehouse ISD. Rates are reasonable and its quiet. Pool is hardly ever crowded and they try to do resident events like the annual end of summer pool party.

I just moved to this apartment complex and I have felt very good, I do not know Jed personally since my husband is the one who has always dealt with him but he has always been very attentive and has quickly solved all the problems that have appeared in our apartment. We are happy to live here.
