    Ive been at SYNC for about 3 weeks now. I have been quite satisfied with my experience thus far from touring, to leasing, to moving, and residing here. Touring and leasing was exactly what I would hope for, the leasing agent was very kind, welcoming, and professional. I love the location and am particularly enjoying how clean the complex is. The leasing process was quick and easy. I also feel quite safe. No place will be perfect, of course, SYNC is no exception, but this is by far the best place Ive lived in and Im very happy to call SYNC my home.

    Ive been living here for 2 years and just renewed my lease. Ive never had any issues that were not resolved in a timely manner. The ladies in the leasing office and the gentlemen from maintenance have always been nice and helpful. The location is great and so are the amenities!

    I had an incredible tour experience with Lourdes! From the moment we met, she was welcoming, knowledgeable, and attentive to all my questions. She walked me through every part of the community, highlighting the amazing features and amenities, and her enthusiasm made me even more excited about living here. Lourdes really knows the ins and outs of this place, and it was clear she genuinely cares about making sure I found the perfect fit for my needs.     NEW UPDATEThe Sync management team is very good. Theyve fixed everything and the crime has been brought under control. A lot of families live here now so its much quieter.UPDATE:New owners have taken over and they have fixed just about everything. They have security now and are painting the interior. I decided to stay and have upgraded my review to four stars.Ive lived here for three years. Its gone completely down hill and unlivable. Late night parties at the pool with screaming, shouting, loud music and fights. Multiple vehicles broken into and wheels stollen. Any package you have delivered may get stolen. I just had a package stolen within 10 minutes of delivery before I could get downstairs and pick it up. Some guy was beating his baby momma in the parking garage while half a dozen stood around and videoed with their phones. None of the security cameras or systems work. The security door to my floor is broken and hanging for two years. Hardly any of the key fobs work. I cant access the pool, gym, or other alleged amenities for months. The parking garage doors are always in the up position because the key fobs dont work. In short, dont move here unless you want to spend a lot of money to be a crime victim. Im leaving as soon as I can.

    I’ve been living at Sync Med Center for 7 months, and it’s been great! I love the monthly resident events, and the new coffee machine is a game changer for those of us who study in the clubhouse. The staff is amazing and handles any issue right away. I’ve read some negative reviews, but honestly, it’s unfair when people complain about things out of the staff’s control. The location is super convenient, especially for those needing easy freeway access.

    Great property to start off first!! Secondly AMAZING OFFICE STAFF!! maintenance staff as well! Maintenance are very quick with work orders! They come and get the job done! No games played! I haven’t had any issues since living here. Whenever I have questions the office (manager, assistant and leasing) are very helpful and professional about all my problems! I Love it here with them!     Exceptional customer service. Lourdes was great help me select the perfect apartment with the appropriate floor plan that was just right for me. She explained every step of the way through the property walk through and her detailed explanation of the leasing agreement was like no other. Overall, Lourdes was amazing help.

    Just want to share a bit of my personal experience here with the wonderful personnel from the office from the manager Ms. Stephanie, her assistant Ms. Norman, and last but never least Ms. Lourdes. They have been amazing in whatever I need always seeming to go above and beyond to exceed expectations. Not to mention the maintenance team that works tirelessly doing their best to keep up the property. I am ever grateful to have such a extraordinary group of people that care. Thank you for everything!!

    Sync at Med Center is a very great place to live, right in the heart of medical center, friendly staff and great customer service. This Mid-Rise is worth the price with all the Great amenities and open floor-plans. They tend to lease very fast so always lock in the lease within 24 hours. You won’t regret your decision despite the bad reviews of the people who continue to give one stars but renew their leases lol.

    Toured here earlier this week. I havent had to look for apartments on my own for a long time so I had a a lot of anxiety by doing this. I liked the place as soon as I walked in. The office was busy so I thought I was going to get horrible treatment. Then meet Lourdes I was a nervous wreck and she was so patient with me. She was also very informative through the tour . She also answered all my dumb questions through email I had over the last few days and answered them fast. I put in the application yesterday. Whatever this apartment complex does DO NOT GET RID of Lourdes.

    I have really loved living here. I am only moving because my job is on the other side of town. This is a very respectful, calm community of people.Super close to restaurants, fast food, and highways!!!I really appreciate the super helpful and kind staff. Once, I even lost my keys and the maintenance team was so dedicated and helpful in recovering them. Any maintenance request is immediately addressed, and the building is always super neat. I appreciate the commitment to cleaning the gym, the carpet on every level, the front doors, etc. It incentives you, in turn, to be a respectful member of the community. This is not a party place.The staff is always friendly, and they pay attention to details with holiday decor, fun activities, and occasional friendly reminders to the community.I wish I could live here forever!

    This place has been my home for 11 months now. Definitely love it here. I am only 15 minutes away from work so it’s very convenient. The amenities are perfect. It’s spacious. Glamorous swimming pool. Perfect place to relax and enjoy. After 9pm, the complex is pretty quiet and peaceful. Came down to the office and had 3 questions about billing and Lourdes answered them all. Alex was also very helpful with showing me how to reserve a parking spot. Did not feel rushed or uncomfortable. I was treated very nice. Definitely recommend this beautiful complex.

I have been living here over 3 years and this is the best staff I’ve seen. And thanks to all the maintenance staff for always responding and fixing things promptly.     These apartments are gorgeous! The Property Manager (Stephanie) along with her staff were very helpful and friendly. I was able to tour a couple of units without even making an appointment. I was at the property for about an hour and I was very impressed by everything. I decided to apply when I got home because the apartment I wanted was available within the timeframe that I needed. I was choosing between two other properties and SYNC was the clear and obvious number one choice! I can’t wait to move in and begin living in the perfect apartment community!

    No apartment complex is perfect, but the staff here at SYNC really go above and beyond to make sure residents feel at home. I had an issue with my apartment and the property manager Stephanie addressed my concerns promptly and to my satisfaction. Jessica is extremely friendly and goes above and beyond to take care of residents. You can tell that both of them truly care about resident happiness and satisfaction. I looked at a couple of apartments but am so glad I ended up here!

    The amenities are unbelievable. The residents are really looked after by the management, leasing staff and the maintenance team. We looked at several places before moving in and we are thrilled that we chose Sync Med Center. There are workout classes onsite. The landscaping is kept clean and beautiful. This is a very classy and friendly place to live and it is in an excellent location.

    We had smooth transition after completion of all documentation with the help of Lulu (Ms Lourdes Barrientos). I must say that Lulu went out of the way to help us in fulfilling the documentation part of tge lease agreement, electricity connection and and also walked us to the unit with the luggage.     Our time at Sync has been awesome. My husband and i have been here since 2022 and the application process was seamless. Sync has very professional staff. Ms. Loudres in particular is always friendly and communicative. Shes an all star!

    Overall I like living here and the complex is very nice.However the reason I picked this complex was because it had a hot tub. My kids were looking forward to enjoying it in the cooler months. When I was given a tour the assistant manager told me it would be turned on any day. After I signed a lease and moved in I was informed it hadn’t worked in several years and wouldn’t be working anytime soon. This was a big disappointment.

    4.5!Ive been living here for a year now, and I dont have any significant complaints. The office staff accommodates needs and sometimes wants, lol, but Stephanie is running the property to the best of her ability! Regarding safety concerns, security doors and upgrading the garage in recent months have helped keep the unwanted out. Still, it also takes residents to follow through and not leave doors propped open for strangers to come in! The HPD officer is great to have on the property. The security guy near the garage can do better by walking around and ensuring doors are closed, and people are not violating the property.Regarding cleanliness, the property is well kept, and another thing, as a community, lets not trash where we live, and please pick up after your pets! The location is the reason for my move, and the rates are not high like many of the other luxury mid-rise apartments in the area. The community events are excellent to have cause most apartments dont have a sense of community, and Sync does!

    I love the front office staff. They work hard to make it a great place to live. The dog park is a little bit of a mess but it always has poop bags and the dog washing station is working again. The apartments common areas are well kept and clean. The maintenance staff is quick and efficient. Ive enjoyed living here!

    Had a very smooth experience moving into SYNC med center. Staff is very friendly, informative and attentive especially Lourdes who was extremely helpful in answering questions, providing information, and being patient and kind regarding handling any issues that I had so far. Thanks LuLu!There were a few hiccups with my move in that required maintenance but those were taken care of. Staff openly communicates with any updates or scheduled repairs. I think proper follow up is important. They are always willing to help.

    We absolutely love SYNC Med Center Apartments. The staff is fantastic! My maintenance needs are completed within the same day. MAGGIE is always so helpful, polite and professional. When I call or stop by the office I am always greeted by my name and very helpful with any of my needs. The property overall is always kept clean, we LOVE the amenities. We couldn’t have chose a better complex, the location is perfect. Within a few miles of restaurants, walking trails, NRG park.. I definitely recommend this property!

    Magaly Cisneros the assistant property manager was so amazing! She was very very patient with my roommate and I. She was extremely helpful and assisted us all the way through our process of applying to moving in. She was very responsive and understanding.     Ive lived here for about 17 months. The place still needs a little work but the new management seems to be doing what they can as fast as possible. They have security guards but there are still some issues with cars occasionally being broken into. But the apartments are nice, its usually pretty quiet here. I never hear my neighbors. There is the occasional loud group out at the pool until like 3am but rarely and Im far enough away that it doesnt really bother me. The prices are very good for this area. The new dog park is really nice. The pool area since the renovation looks great although I couldnt get the TV to come on. The new carpet and paint in the hallways looks much better. The gym is pretty decent and never crowded. Overall, my experience, since the new management took over, is good so I renewed my lease for another year.

    I have had a rather decent experience living here the last two years. The staff has honestly ALWAYS been understanding and respectful. Especially the new manager. He helped me find my cat when I was freaking out, because he ran out the apartment. He literally had everyone help me find him. They may have issues with maintenance only because they have a lot of work orders and a limited staff. The staff has honestly been the best I’ve dealt with in my entire experience living in Houston.

    DO NOT LET THE NEGATIVE REVIEWS TURN YOU AWAY! THOSE ARE JUST FROM A SMALL PERCENTAGE OF PEOPLE WHO HAVE HAD ISOLATED ISSUES. I have been living here for well over a year now. There is no such thing as a perfect apartment community. Sync took over this property from Greystar and they did inherit a mess. I can say that there has been noticable improvements to the building itself and they have stepped up security A LOT! I love that we have security guards at the parking garage monitoring whos coming in and out. The new property manager Jorge has been phenomenal so far and he is very attentive to the tenants. I will say that there still needs to be improvements in how quickly the front office responds to residents and they do need to do a better job at answering the phone when people call. But those are just small issues. The bigger picture is that the property has improved dramatically since SYNC took over. They are working their hardest to improve the property and its paying off. I renewed my lease here because of the improvements that have taken place.

    We have just moved into Equinox 2 months ago. The apartment is beautiful and the location of the apartment is to our liking. We overlook the garden view and it is very peaceful and we have natural sounds of the water to go to sleep to.The onboarding process of getting an apartment here was extremely simplified by our residential representative, Jorge. He did an excellent job of giving us a very thorough tour around the complex and showing us numerous available units. He also catered to our needs, on an individual level, for example making sure I have transport available to my job in the medical center from the apartment. He was so good that we made the decision to apply immediately. We even applied in the apartments business center. While there, another resident was working on a computer, I asked her about her experience and she relayed that Jorge helped her, too, and she was very impressed by his attentiveness.Jorge has been professional and available for our needs constantly since we have moved in. When he has not been available, the other residential managers, like Ashley have been readily available to help assist us with anything we need. Maintenance requests are attended to within 1 day, which is also a huge plus because being pregnant, there are things we need to be fixed quickly.I highly recommend Equinox!

    I’m a future tenant looking for a new apartment complex and I must say they are trying their best to clean and fix things around the complex. (Due to new Company) They are starting to have more security services in the parking garage and with that being placed I must say I’m excited to move in once my lease is up from where I’m at. I had went there today to re-tour the apartment complex, while waiting I had noticed one leasing agent working and basically working alone while trying to help new tenants and residents. The phone would ring while he would help out residents/tenants but still answered the phones as much as he could. Eventually he had left with other tenants to give a tour to them which is okay since I was waiting for him to come back. While I waited I noticed only one call ring from his phone but of course since he was working alone nobody answered.When he came back and was done with those tenants I saw a current resident walk in saying she had called the office multiple times but as I stated I only heard the phone ring once.I overheard the leasing agent apologize to her and tell her he was the only one working and basically giving a tour which she clearly didn’t care and wanted her issue fixed. (Which of course who wouldn’t but I’m sure anyone would understand if they see one person working and apologize for not answering their phone and giving a reason to why they didn’t then why get so angry?) I just wanted to leave this review to help out that leasing agent and hopefully he doesn’t get the wrong image from anyone else who’s looking through reviews and finding a new place to live.

    Have been living here for 2 years. I have noticed improvements by the new management , and overall a great place!Positives: Apartments are actually very nice, no bugs, great location near Hermann Park and Downtown, plenty of covered parking spots, responsive staff, nice building (beautiful view from the rooftop), super markets nearby.Things to consider: I know safety was an issue back in 2021 but for 2022 things are better, hopefully they keep this up. Road noise, if you live next to the OST you will hear all the ambulances, and cars. In general, a lot of the negatives have to do with the community and not management per se, like I would appreciate if our neighbors would not litter around the parking and stairs or if our neighbors would clean after their pets droppings/pee.Thats it.

    I really like these apartments! The inside is super up to date with the hardwood floors and stainless steel appliances. Parking is super easy, even for guests! The staff is very friendly and helpful! The community center, pool, gym, and hallway is very beautiful and always clean! The location is easily accessible to the medical center and midtown! I have absolutely no complaints!

    Ive loved living here at Equinox! We moved in 2 months ago and its been nothing but great!1) The staff has been SO kind and incredible. Theyve been extremely helpful with everything we have needed or asked for. Plus, whenever I see them, they always say hello or tell me to have a great day. I am super happy with how nice theyve been towards my husband and I!2) Our apartment is so new compared to our last place and we LOVE how big our space is, and for lower rent than we were previously paying! We were worried about our electricity bill, but its been lower and weve set our AC lower! Even being on the top floor, our unit never got above 80 degrees! Plus, it is so private and quiet. We dont have neighbors looking into our windows and aside from the occasional noise from our neighbors, its been really peaceful. We also havent had hardly any bugs in our apartment, which is super nice!Theres not many cons that I would note. People go too fast in the parking garage, but thankfully management has put up mirrors to see if cars are coming and they posted speed signs. I havent had any major issues though. The cable and internet was frustrating to set up at first, but once again, the leasing staff were SO helpful with this process and made it all worth it.My husband and I have really enjoyed living here this far. We feel so welcomed by the leasing staff and love our apartment :)

    We love these apartments they are close to the Med Center and the Zoo!!! The gym and pool are awesome. The office staff has gotten so much better since Sync has taken over. I really see a change at the property, the new manager is very attentive to issues.

    The apartment is centrally located in the med center. Its close enough to downtown for a $7 uber but far enough away from the congestion around high times of traffic. My apartment is spacious and it comes with great amenities. I wish the parking garage had more lighting when youre traveling up floors. Though speed signs are posted, there is little adherence, so it can be quite dangerous traveling to the various floors. I have lived here less than a year and theyve switched managers. The new manager is not great with people but she has really improved the safety and appearance of the complex and she is the reason I am giving four stars instead of 3.

    Ive been living here for 3 years and its a good place to live. Luxurious living at an affordable price. New management came in earlier this year and have been working hard to make this place as good as new. Multiple renovation projects underway concurrently along with some new amenities - renovation of the pool, renovation of the courtyard, transitioning the lighting to LED, extensive cleaning of the parking garage, providing valet trash services, apartment butler, night guard, gym upgrades and cleaning of the dog park. Ive never seen this big renovation effort at any other place. Management folks listen to the complains and work on resolving the issues. Maintenance folks are friendly and helpful. They came and helped us around 10:30pm at night even when they dont have an obligation to come in and help after dark. Management sometimes dont resolve the maintenance issues in a timely manner but I assume its because of the multiple renovation projects happening across the community. Landscape is always maintained and great common area to host get togethers.

    I move in to Equinox Apartments in the spring of 2018 on a recommendation of a friend. I have loved the community so far. The apartments are spacious and appliances are new and well maintained. The maintenance people are also very prompt in handling all requests. There are only a few downsides to the community. The internet service that we are forced to take is very spotty and their customer service is equally unprofessional. The apartment management could also increase the frequency of cleaning the carpets in the hallways.

    New Management is making this a new complex. They are working hard to make changes which will positively improve the daily lives of many. New parking passes & towing policies AND newly tiled hallways are major improvements. Management is listening to complaints & suggestions & working daily on additional improvements.     This is simply the first review as I will update throughout my time with Equinox! I’ve been here since end of March and things have progressed extremely!My experience started off rough, had a hard time getting in contact with leasing consultants to simply get an apartment. When I FINALLY signed my lease literally 3 days later it was an ENTIRE new staff, maybe a couple weeks later it was another set of new staff. They have a new property manager who seems to be working her butt off because there has been a lot of changes in simply the few months I’ve been here.They have thrown a lot of resident events this summer and unfortunately I’ve been out of town for every single one BUT the brunch!!! They also post frequently on Instagram which I get notifications for so I can see what events they have going on.Of course nothing is perfect, I’ll probably say the worst thing here is the parking garage, it’s a bit crammed and I wish the towing was more consistent. People need to understand their guest need to park on the 5th & 6th floor!But back to the good news!Lately they’ve had food trucks in between us and district 28, Tuesday wine gatherings, pool gatherings and random breakfasts that include apples, bananas, granola bars, muffins and other pastries.I really enjoy every bit of it.So much I had a friend move in this month, and another is moving to Houston soon so I will he showing her around Equinox and hopefully she loves it!As I said before I’ll keep updating until my lease is up!

    I recently came by and toured with Courtney and the experience was awesome. I normally dont even write reviews, but everyone can relate to the stress of moving and my experience at this place made things easier. The tour was detailed and all of my questions were answered with no hesitation or inconsistency. The property has everything you would need, and the floorplans I saw were really nice. Ill be paying my application fee today and look forward to moving in.

    Apartment and facilities are nice and modern. Internet provider seems to have lots of issues and cleanliness of garage could be improved. Gym is not in great condition but definitely good enough to get a quick cardio session in. Overall, great experience and can’t beat the price in how close you are to the Med Center.

    My agent suggested that I go visit this property to check out all the new renovations. After my tour with Whitney I definitely see why he pushed me to go. The property is amazing, and I was so amazed with all the new additions. Whitney made me feel super secure with making the decision to make equinox my new home. They met every need on my must have list on top of FREE shuttle, I was so taken back by the amount effort she put in the tour. Whitney made sure to take the time to answer every question before I left. I Cannot wait to move in September. Best tour ever 🙂

    I was helping a friend look for an apartment and we came across SYNC Med Center. Walking into the community we were WOWed by the beautiful of their pool and fitness room. We meet with Louie and he was so helpful. He showed us around and really told us about the area. There is a HEB with in a few minutes of the community. We were both impress with that this community had to offer.

    What I can say about the Equinox. The only thing that stands out is Jorge, my leasing agent. I only came to look at the apartments, I had no plan to sign a lease. Due to his professionalism, honesty, and his charm, I signed a lease there that day. Keep in mind, I had planned to look at about 7 apartments and created a list of things I wanted to look for. The Equinox had it all, but what put it over the top was Jorge. Every time there was an issue, he was able to find workable solutions quickly. I do appropriate him for the help he gave me with this transition. Jorge is the man.

    Moved in June, good so far for the price and location. The apartments are modern and nice. The gym is kinda small but has good equipments and the pool is really nice. No issues with safety (i read online before i moved in, but good so far). But I really dont like the required internet provider or the cable service (direct path and direct tv). Directpath is very confusing and they really dont know what their doing and the office tells you to finish everything with them. Just make sure they dont charge you extra fees, you are already paying a monthly fee included in rent. If you get a bill, contact them directly and speak to a supervisor for both directv and direct path.

    The Equinox is a beautiful complex with great amenities, but what makes it so special is the staff. The manager, Jenny, and her team have welcomed A Shelter for Cancer Families into their community with open arms. We lease several apartment units at the Equinox for cancer families undergoing cancer treatment in the Texas Medical Center. Jenny and her staff go above and beyond to make these families feel welcome and comfortable. The staff is quick to respond, respectful, and accommodating both to our cancer families and to our staff at A Shelter for Cancer Families. We are grateful for each staff member who makes living at the Equinox a true home. I highly recommend the Equinox to anyone searching for their next home in a caring community.

    Staff is helpful and accommodating; quick to resolve issues. Conveniently located near the highway and to work. Only issue was with the internet/tv issue when moving in- wasnt working initially and took a while with a few setbacks but it eventually was resolved. Only comment is if the carpets could be deodorized a bit more often outside in the hallways. otherwise, great :)
