I lived in the Sync at Mueller building for a few years and overall, it was a positive experience.Pros:- location - Mueller is an awesome neighborhood with a lot to do. Streamway coffee, which is walking distance, is also the best.- Nice units.- Pet friendly.- Nice and quick maintenance staff.Cons:- My unit had almost zero cell service and my calls dropped constantly or I couldn’t even make them at all.- I feel like the building can use more TLC (for instance, making sure doors open, plants trimmed around the pool, fire alarms, etc.)- The biggest con for me was the lease renewal process. The prices of units change constantly and this past year my lease renewal offer was much higher in price than units available to new tenants, which isn’t right.

Ive been living here for 1.5 months now, and have loved it so far! Viviana was super helpful and patient throughout the entire leasing process, answering all my questions thoroughly. Move-in itself was seamless. The complex has incredibly amenities, is clean, and is quiet in the evenings. I always see maintenance working to improve aspects of the grounds. Parking is easy, and there are always spots available. At Elysian, I find myself actually using the gym and the lobby coffee maker often! My apartment itself is spacious, and has great appliances and fixtures.And I could go on about the Mueller area. It has so many stores and restaurants that are easily accessible. The park is often bustling, and the farmers market on Sunday is great. Definitely recommend living at Elysian in the Mueller area.

I lived at SYNC at Mueller for the last year and it was a pretty great complex! Casey and Emma in the office were always super helpful and definitely went out of their way to help out however I needed. When the winter freeze happened in Feb 2021, the office was *incredibly* communicative about the situation, what steps they were taking to try and remedy things, support they could offer, etc. The staff are definitely bumped it from a four star to a five star experience.The apartment itself: I never heard neighbors on either side of me or below, but could occasionally hear the unit above me. I was on the non-pool courtyard and I never really had any major problems with noise. The kitchen definitely fits the luxury feel, though note that the granite countertops do not continue on into the bathrooms. The rest of the apartment felt nice enough, cozy.The maintenance staff was friendly and prompt with repairs. I never had any issues with breakins or thefts in the parking garage. I know some other people had those problems and made a pretty big fuss about it, but then the complex put up cameras in response and started getting APD to swing by every now and then, and that seemed to help.The location is obviously top notch! It was easy to hit the 3 mile walking trail by the park; Torchys, HEB, the Irish Pub, the ice cream shop, are all within walking distances, etc. Super quick to get downtown and to get out to the airport. I originally was looking in the Domain and the Triangle area, but I couldnt be more pleased that I chose Mueller.

I lived here for about 1.5 years and wanted to give my honest opinion! I lived on the 3rd floor in a C2 two bedroom.Location: 5/5The location of SYNC is amazing. Youre very close to downtown where its not inconvenient to go to and from or call a quick uber. SYNC is right next to Mueller lake which is great for walking around or having picnics. Theres also lots of fun shops and restaurants walking distance like BD Rileys Irish pub. Theres also a very convenient convenience store across the street that is open late if you need a quick snack or necessity. I loved the location so much that I made sure I stayed in the area when I moved out.Apartment: 3/5This is one of the setbacks to be honest. The apartment itself is nice. Its very modern with hardwood floors in the kitchen and dining areas and the bedrooms are carpeted. Most of the apartments are outfitted with smart lights and AC so you can control them with your phone or Alexa. They also got Google Fiber installed so youll have the fastest internet ever. The biggest drawback to the apartment is just how thin the walls are. They are very very thin and not well insulated. Since I was on the third floor, I have a family living above me and I could hear everything besides them talking. You will hear EVERY footstep. Im not exaggerating. If they walk around a lot, the chains on your ceiling fan will shake like an earthquake is happening. You will hear their phone vibrate on a table. You will hear their TV if its loud enough. You will hear them open and close the sliding door to a patio. Its not SYNCs fault, but its definitely a fault to the builder of this complex. If you have immediate neighbors, you will hear them enter and leave their units. Theres also lots of dogs in the complex and its very likely barking battles will start where one dog will start to bark which will trigger another to begin barking. All of this can easily be heard from a completely closed apartment.Amenities: 5/5The amenities are what youd expect. The gym is outfitted with everything you need -- dumbbells, smith machine, cable machine, treadmills, etc. Everything is very clean and well maintained. Theres also a pool table and shuffle board. I never went into the pool or hot tub but it looks nice whenever I walked past it.Community: 4/5The community has been nice. People will smile and wave if you pass them. I had zero issues about every worrying about any packages being stolen if they were left at my front door. The only thing that bugged me was that there are a lot of aggressive drivers in the community. I almost got into a ton of car accidents in the parking garage because people speed and flew around the blind corners. People will usually tailgate you if youre not going fast enough in the garage too. People dont seem to be courteous where they will wait for you to pass or make your life easier. I honestly hated driving in the garage and it always worried me. I never had any issues break-ins myself but during my time here I did get about 3 emails regarding a reported car break-in somewhere.Employees/Leasing: 5/5The staff at SYNC is great. They always responded to my questions and concerns right away. The maintenance system is quick and easy to request. They are very very good at sending out emails and keeping everyone in the loop for when something happens. Example, when the winter storm happened in Feb 2021, they were very transparent about the water issues and the progress being made.Overall, SYNC is a good apartment complex. If you dont mind the noises youll hear from upstairs neighbors (or get lucky and live on the top floor) or dogs barking and dont mind the aggressive drivers in the parking garage then this is definitely a great spot to live. The location is amazing and its definitely a comfortable and safe place to live.

I lived in Sync Mueller from June 2017 - June 2021. Been meaning to drop a review for a while, but just getting to it now.Overall, I really enjoyed my time at Elysian/Sync. I gave it 4 stars because of a few issues discussed below, but overall I would live there again 100% without any qualms.Positive:-Office staff and maintenence are great. Never had an issue with them at all.-Rent is expensive but its fair for what it is in Austin.-Mueller is an amazing area to live in. Its grown so much in the last few years and gives a great feel of a suburban area close to a downtown.-The gym is literally the best apartment gym I have ever been to in my life. For real, go and take a tour and check out the gym. It was awesome.-Rooms are solid. Didn’t feel outdated to me.-Pool and common area are awesome as well.-Good community and everyone was generally pretty friendly.-I have to list this twice because of how true it is, but mueller in general is awesome. HEB, torchy’s, MOD, and many other bars/restaurants within walking distance. Also a big farmers market on Sundays and food trucks daily in the park in Mueller.Negatives:-Take this with a grain of salt as its been 6 months since I lived there and the problem may have been fixed, but they had a lot of issues with their garage in the past and we would get emails pretty routinely during my last year about how the gate was broken and it was going to be left open until it could be repaired. My wife’s car got broken into during one of those times along with some others (Although that was partially her fault to be fair). Hopefully they’ve fixed the problem by now, but the gate screwing up was probably the biggest issue with sync during my 4 years there. The building as a whole is otherwise pretty secure as you need a key fob to get in from the garage into the hallways leading to the apartments, but the gate was a problem.-The walls are a bit thin. Had a few issues with noise during my first year but talked to my neighbor and it was resolved pretty quickly and wasn’t an issue the rest of my time there. Otherwise, can hear people walking above you but wasn’t really bothersomeIn short, I would live there again 100%. Great experience, location, staff, apartment, etc.

I am a new resident at Sync and can honestly say that this move in experience has been by far the least painful and the most welcoming. Alyssa was great at communicating all needs pre-move and I even got a refresher tour around the property when picking up my keys!Even though I have been here only 2 weeks the communication from the office staff/maintenance has been above and beyond what I experienced an entire year living at my last property. Looking forward to the Mueller District living experience.

Sync at Mueller has been a really great experience the past two years. The reason for four stars comes from a few annoyances that would be great to not have. First, think twice before living by a hospital. My unit faces Mueller Blvd and I wake up to sirens at least once a week. Recently there’s been construction across the street and that has been an added 3:30 or 4 am wake up as there’s digging that early in the morning. Second, packages getting swiped from my front door. I thought this was a pretty safe and honestly, expensive complex, but I have had three packages swiped from my front door. Although there are Amazon lockers downstairs, they apply to other carriers like UPS, FedEx and USPS if the office isn’t open when they deliver. So other than those annoyances, the maintenance is really quick and the leasing office is pretty attentive. Overall, not too shabby!

Sync at Mueller is home. It really is. The staff here, and especially Alyssa (who has been amazing to us), is the kindest staff Ive ever encountered at any of the apartments Ive resided at. While we moved here during the middle of a pandemic, they were always there, every step of the way to help us safely settle in. Its a beautiful neighborhood, beautiful complex with beautiful people. And the service is wonderful.

Casey was easy to work with to become a resident here and everything since. The apartment feels very secure and safe. The location is perfect. Apartment layout is so spacious. And I love the parking garage to park on the same floor as my apartment.

Lived here from June 2016-June 2017. Had to post because to help out people looking for apts.Honestly had a great experience here. No complains. Lived here with my cousin to a 2bed/2bath and the space within the apt looks and feels great.- Parking (5/5): The buildings a wrap around with several levels of concrete parking in the center with the rest of the building around it. Theres a few reserved spots close to the doors which are super convenient but theres a good chance youll always find a good spot. If you live on the first floor like I did you have quick access to free parking around the building.- Pets (5/5): Very pet friendly with treats at the leasing office, so many residents have pets, and pet waste bag stations all around the building to keep the lawn clean. Theres a park literally across the street with a great long trail where you can walk your pets.- Location (5/5): I love Mueller and sad to leave the area. Youre 10 min from DT off of I-35 and Airport but you feel like you live in a cool up-and-coming area for a nice mesh of young families, couples, young professionals, and with a few senior living projects being built a few blocks away itll also bring in that mix. The HEB at Mueller is so great to go that I always complained that we got people whose nearest HEB is clearly not the one on Mueller but like it to so much that theyre willing to drive over there. They just opened an Alamo Drafthouse a few blocks away which is seriously great and eventually there will be a big Town Center across Elysian with a plethora of different retail spots and whatnot. Id buy a house in this area right now.- Pricing (5/5): For what you get at Elysian the prices are fair and entirely in line with the market. You might get a good special depending on the season. Me and my roommate got a really good move-in special back in June 2016 and when our lease is up market rates were higher but, doing what a good management company does, they did what they could to try to keep and respect us staying there that our renewal rate didnt go up as much as they could put it out on the market for. That says a lot about them and is very appreciated.- Amenities (4.5/5): Theyre great, the lap pool in the center is nice and soothing with the fountains. 2 grills who if I was nitpicking Id say a few times the gas tanks were empty for a little while. Used the gym all the time and didnt feel the need to get a membership elsewhere because it has all the essentials you could need. Only complain, but this is the norm with every single apt complex, is that for safety reasons they dont have free standing barbells, so I had to buy one off of Craigslist and bring it in every morning if I wanted to do some free standing exercises as opposed to smith press. Clubhouse has a bunch of tvs, free coffee machine (which was occasionally out of coffee but maybe tenants are abusive of it), shuffleboard, pool table, great private business center and a great computer lounge.LOOK FOR REST OF REVIEW ON YELP - Google wont let me post more characters.

The leasing staff have been so helpful and friendly over the last few months- in particular, Alyssa has been great every time I’ve come into the office! For the location and amenities, Sync was definitely the most reasonably priced of all the places I looked. Overall, really happy with my experience!

We have been living here for over 9 months now and we absolutely love it. The trails close to the apartment are great for running. The farmers market on Sundays is a must go place! The maintenance is prompt and the staff work efficiently. I would highly recommend this place for anyone, with or without kids.

Really convenient location - can walk to the park across the street, walk to a Sunday farmers market, and there are lots of good dining options. The pool is nice and normally not crowded. Clean work-out area. Nice for the price!

Great, quiet place to live. Have had no complaints thus far. Staff is on top of things if you ever have an issue. One of the staff, Carlos, was great help when I was locked out of my apartment and always friendly when I see him around the complex.

Great staff and location! They have gone out of their way to help me several times. The pool, gym and coffee machines are all nice. If it didnt have fire alarms that randomly went off I would give it a 5 (not their fault but it is a negative reality in a building like this)
