Great complex for the area. Dont forget its still the hood, but the people are great and very little trouble. Maintenance is always on point (shout out to Oscar). Apartment was great when we moved in. Everyone stays to themselves for the most part. Great pricing. Inside a neighborhood so you dont get a lot of the trouble of the streets. Nice and clean complex. It had its downsides but unbeatable for the price.

I have been living in this complex for almost a year now, and just happily resigned for another 12 month lease. The manager has made living here so easy since step one. She is always happy to help throughout the leasing process and after youre moved in. The community is always clean and well kept. The maintenance staff is quick and efficient whenever a problem has arose. I am super happy with my choice to live in Summer Cove!

I have been living here for some years now (10+) & I have to say I feel very comfortable here otherwise, I still wouldnt be here. They were the most affordable out of the apts in this area. Plus it is convenient to I-635 going to work & elsewhere. Office management has been great towards my family & have been very understanding towards my needs. Maintenance has been great also. Any issues that I have they fix them quickly.They always send out newsletters about events going on in the neighborhood & the apt complex. Just recently they installed new lightening around the complex which was well received by the tenants so improvements are being made. 😊 Management always reaches out to know the issues we are having and they do their best to improve upon them. Also, on our resident portal website all rent & other charges can be seen in detail. We also get an itemized bill for electric & water through the mail ahead of time so dont believe the reviews that say we dont know what we are being charged. Its all laid out in the lease agreement. I communicate mostly by email and the responses are quick but if I am around, I usually just come to the office to see someone. The parking has improved greatly because the visitors were taking up the spaces for the residents. Now, the residents cars can be registered through a parking system & the visitors have assigned areas or they will be towed. Every review has their own experience and this is mine.

I applied here and Enrique was such a great help they remodeled lots of the apartments it’s a nicer place than before it was my first time ever applying at my own apartment and Enrique helped me through the whole process and made it so much less stressful!

Ive been living here going on 4 months and have yet to see a roach inside my unit, but I am a very clean person. The property is well kept all units have been upgraded with black appliances and hardwood flooring the gates were even back to working before an NON resident decided to drive their car through it. I absolutely love my apartment, the office staff is a joke supposedly Kim is the regional manager but the way she conducts herself is very unprofessional and seem to come off quite rude at times.

I LOVE my home! Ive lived here for about 4 years. The property has gone through a lot of great changes. The renovations are modern and very inexpensive. Staff is sincere and urgent to help me with any need I may have. I have never seen any roaches in my apartment. After seeing all the negative remarks I felt the need to say something positive. You cant always believe the negative reviews you read online.

Everyone here is special to work with! The staff is superb with service and the quick responses to any issues. Been at this property since 2014 and have loved almost every second of it! The maintenance team is great and performs a high quality service to any maintenance needs. They even helped me with my Christmas Tree one year! That is just a small taste of the Random Acts of Kindness that their teams provide! They are always doing events within the community like drawings for prizes, blood donations, decoration contests, etc. This is a nice property to grow a family. Its gated and privacy is the most important. I highly recommend!

Toria in the office is great!! She got me approved and into my new apartment home super fast and professional. So far, all is great!! Read some bad reviews so was a little leery when moving in but you cant always believe what you read on these reviews because I havent witnessed any bad things. No roaches no bed bugs and no rats! Its actually a rather nice apartment complex they take good care of it. Dont knock it till youve seen for yourself.

Been living here since December of 2019 and all Ive seen since then is improvements. The pool just got renovated and the whole complex got a new face-lift with the exterior and porches. Casey Davis has been very helpful with my request when I call in. Luis one of the maintenance team associates and hes been superb every time I need him to fix any minor issues. Overall Im happy to be living at Summerwood!

I love my apartment, never had any problems they came out to my house in the middle of the night when my toilet flooded my house and cleaned up everything as well. The staff is extremely nice if I bring my concerns to Kasey or Christy they are quick to help me. Everything is great with my apartments they just need security because of the crime.

When i first moved here i was dealing with a pretty bad complex i was moving out of, but the people here are exceptional and if i need something i put in a request or go into the office face to face theyre super friendly and they are quick to help when you have questions or concerns. Ive been here for 2 years now and Im still happy and satisfied! Apartment complex is pretty quiet too so Im grateful for that ~

There was broken glass and bobbie pins left behind on the carpet when I moved in, but overall things are good! Enrique helped me out IMMENSELY. He was able to get me moved in within a week!

The Best Maintenance Crew keep the community clean and if there is a maintenance issue they fix it. I work in Grand Prairie and sure I could find something closer but knowing I live in quiet clean community I choose to sign another year lease.
