It’s been about 6 months since I moved here and so far so good. My neighbors are cool and quiet. The pool was opened. Parking is getting better. The people in the office are very helpful and sweet. They answer work orders pretty quickly. Will be resigning my lease with them.

This is a good affordable apartment complex with good management and community. Its nice and quiet here. The parking lot and some buildings are not in the best shape but its not at all bad.EDIT- I see that they are making an attempt to renovate so I will change my rating to five stars

Lived here 6 months ago, never left a review so heres my experience. I lived there from July to December of 2021, and have to say that it was a decent place and the price was great for what I paid. The leasing staff was very solid. Kayla and Genesis in particular were a pleasure to deal with and always made me feel satisfied and thorough with any explanations they gave to the questions I had. Here is an example and really why I think of them so highly:The property was doing a huge piping project in Mid July in each unit and the plumber team they hired had to be in our rooms from 9am-4pm roughly each day for a week straight. Because I was working overnight from 6pm - 4 am at that time, I would be asleep and it was massively inconvenient to only get about 4 hours of sleep at a time. I told this to them and they said I could have the keys to a vacant unit to temporarily sleep there that week. This could have gone wrong any number of ways but it was the perfect solution for me!The main reason I left was that the price at the end of my lease went from 715 to almost 900 for 6 months and I was not thrilled with that (out of Kaylas control). Also the one big downside I had in my unit was that there were roaches constantly the whole time. Never the huge gargantuan sized ones, but a ton of small ones and that was disgusting. I asked my next-door neighbor if he had the same problem and he said he never had any so it could have been just my unit but it was still disappointing none the less. The little buggers never even offered to pay my rent :/ Hope this helps someone :)

We moved here 2 years ago I like our town home and our private patio. More events like the one for Easter will be nice to look forward too now. Good job Summervale, the maintenance is fast also even though we rarely have issues in our apartment. I guess each apartment is different because no roaches in mine, no leaks in mine and when I go load the laundry card the office people are nice to us... not all posts should be considered true just because youre upset about something. (The exaggeration on the bad reviews is funny since weve never experienced it, just feel that a lot has been exaggerated on the bad here) But cool complex in a good spot near everything.

My wife and I have been here for a year and we just renewed our contract. We love our home. Our apartment is very big and we haven’t had any issues with roaches or bedbugs as I hear other people do in other apartment complexes... there’s enough parking for everyone which I love. And I like that we’re close to the Galleria Mall. A big thank you to the apartment manager Sandra who keeps this please immaculate.

I moved into my town home apts nice and spacious about 4months with my children. I have yet to have any issues with any of the things I’ve read on the other reviews.. office staff is so nice and understanding; Kayla has always been very helpful and attends to anything I may need. Genesis is great as well very professional and always happy when speaking to me, and the manager hats off to her for doing her best keeping this property tight. Overall this property has been great to live in. Maintenance comes right away to any issues I may have(Only have had 2 with my outlets).

I live here with my mom we just moved in three months ago. And so far things are going good. They dont have a fitness center which I thought it would be a big deal. But theres a fitness Center right down the street. And to be honest with you I dont mind driving away from my house to work out. Just gives me a different scenery. Anyway I love this place because our apartment is very big and the neighbors are nice. Its a quiet place to live.

I loved my apt. I was sad to leave & would still be there if I didnt have to move to a different state. The pros are: Maintenance responded really quick, I dont think I ever waited a full 24 hours for anything. Then again I only needed Maintenance about 4 times the entire 14 months I lived there. They always removed their shoes or had bags on their feet since I had carpet. I never had to ask them to do so. Genesis & Kayla in the office were always sweet & kind. I received my deposit back quicker than I thought & I had no issues getting it back. They kept us notified & updated via text, email or notice. My neighbor worked on-site as a maintenence man but he was so nice.. really sweet.. the cons are: There were roaches but not nearly as many as other apartments I lived in in Houston (Far less). Gnats too!! The dumpster was kind of far from my unit as well. But the main thing I didnt like were the amount of stray cats. Im terrified of cats & they would be everywhere. There was a tree by my steps & theyd be in there ready to give me a slight heart attack. I caught them sleeping on top of my care often. Bottom line though is I would recommend summervale and I would move back if I ever went back to Houston!!

Very Professional staff. Asst Manager Genesis made sure I was very satisfied and comfortable. Team helped answer all my questions during my tour. I am a first time renter and I was viewing a 1 bedroom! Only reason I did not rent is because I need it for November!! I will be back then for sure. I miss Staci, she was a great property manager, very understanding, and knows how to help a resident. I had an eviction hold off place so I can pay the remaining balance today after I get home from work. I notified that I dont have enough to make the full amount because of my pay check was not enough to cover the balance. I went to the website to make a payment and the option of Pay Now was not showing up. I called and emailed, as well as text to tell them the problem and also feeling I should not pay another $10 in late fee because this is out of my control. Staci, who used to be the property manager at Summervale, responded to my text and tried to help me resolve the problem. After talking with Satci, I was able to see the pay now option, the problem was that I was unable to make a payment because the current property manager disabled the payments. And that I needed to contact support. I screenshot the error message and what the screen looked like before Staci was helping me as documentation. I notified Staci the error message I receive and she contacted the current property manager, explaining her the situation that is going wth the payment option on the summervale website. I miss Staci and I hope she returns to Summervale because she gets things done. So for that, I give Staci five stars!

Keila from management office , help me and guide me true the full process, I choose my apartment , in matters of days I was approved and in a week I move in , apartment complex is clean , Secured, gated , I mean I’m not going no where I feel like home here is in the middle of everything what else can you ask for plus management works with you. My family and i lived there for 12 months and i can honestly say that this dump is not fit for my dogs. Speaking of dogs. They never police the compound for dog dropping and when i asked them to put a poop station for dog owners to clean after their pets. The answer was its not our job to do that. They lie about everything. The water and sewage bill is based on square footage of the apartments. Another way they rip people off. Imagine water and sewage at 105.00 dollars per month. Most of the apartments have 7to 8 people living there. And the manager id rude, obnoxious and lies at every opportunity.I asked to speak to someone in their home office. I am still waiting for a call back. We moved from there january1st 2016. It is now February 16 2016. They will try to keep your deposits.DO NOT MOVE THERE.

I have read all the reviews and do have a strong reply to all...1st of all people...you all live in apartment complex not in the boonies or out in a ranch or even a class A community..we live in a community with a lot of diversity..all kinds of music and loud..dnt like it then but some heads phones ON or BUY a house...as for the lady complaining about her man not reading or speaking English...well YOU obviously do udrstnd n speak it..so nxt time u fill the application...i have lived here for 7 months and not once have we had a bad experience with any Office staff nor maintenance..they hv been nothing but courteous to our needs and request...on March 24 2018 Management hosted a breakfast for Resident Appreciation in which it was awesome didnt meet or see any upset Residents....management should have more events like this...2 thumbs up from us..
