Ive lived here for about 3 years. My stay here started out pretty rough. We had roaches for the first 4 months and it was really hard to get rid of them. We had to get the whole building sprayed down. Since then we havent had a spray in all the buildings. Recently. Ive been seeing them a little bit more.We did have a lot of issues with the dryer vents being clogged up from all the people in the apartment complex. We had to get maintenance to clean the outside and it still wasnt flowing very well. I ended up having to buy a cleaner myself and snake the inside of the apartment and it pulled out a bunch of wet lint. So just be aware that if you get a new dryer you might end up burning it up. I usually have to dump a large bowl of water out from the dryer vent since the pipes dont let the air out right.This complex is pretty safe, I will say that. Theres always people walking around with children. Theres a lot of children in this apartment complex. I feel safe walking my dog pretty late at night. Theres a decent amount of lighting. There are quite a few pets stations around the complex that allow you to clean up after your pets. And theres a nice little pond next to the complex that you can walk your dog on. Overall, I like the family atmosphere of this apartment.The parking here is pretty good. I usually can park right next to my unit. I would just be aware when you get a new car. A lot of people around here will ding your car.This complex has valet trash on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Theyre a little slow to pick it up, but it is nice not having to take it to the dumpster.Overall, I would recommend living here. Just be aware that these complexes are a little old so sometimes theyre a little leaky. For example my window, my master bedroom has always leaked the entire time weve been here. Also because we live next to the park theres a crazy amount of pigeons 😵‍💫

I’ve had a wonderful experience living at Summer Bend Apartments! The community is always well-maintained, and the amenities are fantastic. The apartments themselves are spacious and comfortable, with everything I need for a great living experience.A special shout-out to the manager, Ann, who has been absolutely amazing! She is always responsive, helpful, and truly goes above and beyond to make sure residents are happy. Her professionalism and dedication make such a difference, and it’s clear she genuinely cares about the community.I highly recommend Summer Bend Apartments to anyone looking for a great place to live with a fantastic team managing it!

Very safe community, ample parking space. Lived here for 3.5 years. Ann and Christina are very kind, thoughtful and theyve helped me a lot when I first moved here. The issues get addressed pretty quickly. Maintainance crew is great. Only issue are the roaches but its texas.

Had a fantastic experience with this complex and the management company. Ann is wonderful and her expertise goes far above-and-beyond!! They are personal and always there to help. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a new place, they do a great job!

Too old apartment, flat maintenance is an issue here. Scenic beauty is good here. Only one grocery shop is available here sa re ga ma pa.

I came to Summer Bend to look at a few apartments, and Ann assisted me. She made the whole experience so easy and was truly so kind in every way of the word. If you are having trouble making any decisions on an apartment or how the process works I would 100% recommend working with Ann! Lived here 5+ years and absolutely love the staff. Any problem I’ve ever had they’ve been more than helpful, to solve, fix or mend the issue. The property is friendly and very well kept, would more than recommend.

I stayed here for 4 yrs and let me tell you, this is comparatively nicest community with a mix of cultures. The staff have improved a lot in managing the community( they do proper communications, upgrading community for better living, the service staff is spontaneous, leasing staff is awesome). The staff do takes cares in all manner and they make sure you retained as a renter with them. Some people play complain about roaches and thats not community fault. Thats due to lake with steady water. They do regular pest controls. But its about how you take of your apartment. The people are nice. Haven’t heard nuisance here within my stay tenure. I would absolutely recommend if you are looking for good community and value for money houses( Their rents are less as compared to other communities around this area. They have a play area, picnic spots, 2 swimming pools and a gym which they are in upgrade mode. The apartments are being upgraded to granite countertops.

From the very start I have love these apartments. Once I moved in and was able to make my apartment my home my experience with Summer Bend (office staff, maintenance and neighbors) just got better. Office staff is warm and friendly, maintenance staff is so helpful and go beyond to fix anything that is needed. Love the neighborhood, especially the park in front where my family loves to go and play and see the turtles. Would recommend these apartments to everyone.

Christina is so helpful! She’s always very attentive and always has a smile on her face, she makes you feel very welcomed. The maintenance guys work very hard, and always get your work orders done in a timely manner. I recommend leasing if you are looking in this area.

I just finished my second lease here, and after nearly 2 years of staying here, I can sincerely say I’m sad to go! Ann and Christina have been wonderful to work with, and there is always effort being put in to better the community! The location is great, and access to DFW is very smooth! Overall love SummerBend!

Recently moved in to my new apartment and I love it. The management was very nice & friendly, made me feel very comfortable with my decision. The moving was hectic but moving always is. Now that Im settled in Im really glad with my decision. I also really enjoy the gym and how close the park is. Highly Recommend.

This has been our home since the last 7 years. Centrally located with everything you need nearby. The complex is beautiful with a diverse community. Our kids have grown up here enjoying the park and the pool. A big thanks to the management (Ann, Lucy and Christina) and also to the helpful support staff who have assisted us and responded promptly whenever required.Highly recommended!

WE have been there at summerband for 10 years .Leasing office staff is very nice and very caring and helpful.They take care of the emergency maintenance issues within 24hrs.Ann has been there for a long time and she knows what she is doing and she always cares and helps the residents. she always tries to help the residents going beyond . I will definetly recommend this apartments .

I stayed here for about a year , very good place. i got a very clean apartment . i was actually afraid to get in this community after seeing reviews, but it is a best judgement i have ever made. no coplaints or even a single work order i had for 1 year. washer dryers are perfect . loved my stay here

I would like to commend the Summerbend establishment for the rapid and speedy response to the winter storms that hit Texas, Of particular mention is Ann, the manager who covers the Irving Summerbend apartments where I live. She kept me updated on repairs and clean up, she was very professional and very honest . I have high praise for her.

Pros: Being here for more than 5.5 years feels long way but I had all good things happen in this place. I see many people who stay here arrive here and stays good luck follows them ... I made friends good and bad, also made me strong and realized my true potential in this time frame... the best part is the park ... I know many Indians after long working day make you feel this place being really at home like back in India with friends and food places around...Good and bad everywhere but no doubt I love the place due to various other factors .... They are old but suggestion to renovate to modern, but decent price and the management fixes any problems pretty quickly and they are alert in emergencies like when you forget your key or problem with ac or pesticide control etc.. Prasanna and Ann at leasing office are friendly and helpful.. Ann helped me in couple of emergencies like I missed my key in flight couple of times... she is there when I need her..Summer bend is not just home for me when I am leaving to my new home I am leaving lot emotions , experiences, the way it worked for my career and success it followed me and always real lifetime memory ... rest all minimal who cares when luck is with you and follows you when you live here...

Taylor assisted us finding right unit according to our choice and move into Summer Bend and was able to take care of all our needs through out the process . It is a great place to spend during summer . Exception of covered parking everything else is great including service .
