Ms. Gabby is so wonderful, Im grateful for her having an understanding, and shes so sweet. Shes a intelligent young lady who is very outstanding. She will compromise with you if you honest and trustworthy.

I have been living here since December 2019. As a single parent as hard as times have been I can say the ladies in the office are always very helpful. My work orders are taken care of immediately & HUGE shout out to Gabby in the office, she is great & very understanding which is why I chose to stay here!

Vanessa, Kimberly, and Yessica will treat you like family! Great staff and I mean it, they communicate well and do their best to please their tenants. Maintenance team are hard working and respond QUICKLY to your request. By far the best place to call home, it’s a peaceful quiet place with easy access to 290, I-10 and Beltway 8. Also, you can’t beat their move in specials! Try touring the complex you’ll absolutely love it. I’ve been a tenant over 2 years now. Pretty good place, with low prices!

I have worked with Yessica for about a year or two now and she is by far one of the best leasing agents I have encountered. She is very knowledgeable, very nice, and works hard to get clients approved. If she cant get them approved, she does it in a way that doesnt make the client feel awful! I just want to thank Jessica and the women in the office for understanding that we were in distress due to a building fire on the property they moved very swiftly with relocating my family and helping us salvage what we could, so to sum it up the office staff is great and very understanding. Yessica is really great Ive been living on the property for 16 months and she made me feel welcome from the first day I came into the office.

I lived at this property for a year and my experience was amazing. The managers Laurie Wilson and Vanessa Palma are absolutely exceptional. Have bee here for 2 years now just renewed my lease Yessica has always been my go to girl . The staff is really friendly and maintenance is good any issue they solve it. You are literally close to everything restaurant and grocery store .

This is a decent spot for someone looking for their 1st apartment or something in a hurry! The office staff made the process very smooth! Yesica kept in touch with me throughout the whole process! The apartments are older but are pretty quiet. It’s close by a lot of restaurants, grocery stores, not too far away from downtown and is close to the freeway as well!

I have lived here for the last year and a half. There was alot of unwanted activity here under the previous manager Laurie. She never seemed to care about the people who paid to live here. Infact I would say she did not do a good job of management at all. Since new management has taken over this summer I see a huge difference. There are no more abandoned cars, gates are usually closed and not open all day. The property is always clean no matter how hard some who live here try to junk it up.Update:The management has taken it upon themselves to let subcontractors into my apt without my permission. These people were in my bedroom in my closet. Not sure why they were in either room. Moving my personal belongings .. Removed items off the shelves in my closet and moved my furniture.During covid..... Allowing strange people in my apartment against my wishes is unacceptable. And new management fooled me into believing they were handeling things. They do not care if you are exposed to covid when they allow strange people inside your apt who touch things they have no right to touch. In fact they do not seem to care about the tenant at all... Just want your money.I will not be renewing my lease.***UPDATE*** 2023I have had some issues with living here. I am sure every complex has issues. The one bright spot here at Somerset is ELI SALAZAR! the man is a rare gem! He is courteous, kind, helpful, knowledgeable and is the only person I truly trust to enter my apartment, complete the task properly and leave with me feeling confident that the job was done properly. I honestly believe this Gem (ELI) is responsible for me still living here! Thank you ELI!!!

I must say my experience with Somerset has been a good one so far! My leasing agent Yessica was very attentive, professional, and quick to answer my concerns. I’ve told her that I was new to Houston and the complex I originally was suppose to move into was not livable and needed an apartment right away. She heard my urgency and was able to get me moved in within a few days. The apartment was clean and spacious! She even text me on move in day to make sure everything was ok and move in was a good experience. I recommend Yessica and the staff at Somerset to anyone looking to move to NW Houston!

In May/2014 I needed a place to move into fast came into office at 9am and spoke with George he took great care of me. I filled out application and had keys in hand by 3pm. Apartments are not the newest, but apartments are clean and kept up with new carpet, appliances and fixtures. The rent is cheap and affordable and family orientated. Ive never had no problems with neighbors or office staff. Every time Ive asked questions staff has answered promptly, great customer service and attention to detail. I live in phase 2 and its very peaceful I love my new home and enjoy living here :)

I moved here back in 2015. I like the new management that came in a few months ago and especially the new feature to autopay rent online. I feel that if you go in with the proper expectations you will appreciate Somerset Apartments. The staff is friendly especially Aracelis, maintenance is responsive, the complex is rather safe, there are some pest issues but it can be managed, parking is decent and they do not tow aggressively, neighbors at least in my building are friendly and do not play loud music or argue in the middle of the night, the rent is still reasonable and the location is conveniently near 290 and a good bit of shopping right down Tidwell, the fitness room is small but big enough to be useful as an alternative to being gouged by LA Fitness. Overall my main gripe is that the rent keeps going up year by year as this area becomes more desirable, and I might be priced out soon.

I just moved here at the end of December. The staff was very helpful, especially the leasing agent that helped me tremendously, Aracelis. She went above and beyond when everything that could go wrong, did, while moving. My neighbors have been friendly And my overall thoughts on the property itself, is that its good but does need some TLC but only because its an older property, (I love older properties because it means more square footage for the money you pay)but they are doing renovations and seem to be getting all the things that need to be done, since changing management recently. I look forward to spending time near the pools in the summer which have some pretty nice decks built in❤️. Also a big plus to this property is that it is VERY close to all of the restaurants and shops that I frequent and the beltway is just a short driveaway, that gives me great access to the city!

Ive stayed at Somerset for almost a year and the only very consistent complain is the roaches, roaches coming out of everywhere. I did contact the office and they sent pest control eventually but that did nothing. I can definitely say that the complex looks cleaner with this new management, and I totally understand what they are trying to do keeping the patios and balconies free of debris but I find it ridiculous when they leave notes on my door because there is a couple of toys in my balcony and saying that I will get charged $50 per item if I dont remove them in 24 hours. I have kids and I do pay rent to live here so I naturally feel entitled to have toys in my balcony. Also there are shootings very often on the weekends, and funny people arguing on the middle of the night. Somehow phase II looks prettier than phase I, everyone living here knows that phase II (office side) is the nice side hoping that changes. Cant expect much more in this area really. Upgrades are nice but it would also be nice if they took care of the current residents as well. I gotta add, from 5 different apartment complexes Ive stayed at in the area, this is the best one so far.

5: CUSTOMER SERVICE- the ladies in the office have lots of life, 5: MAINTENANCE gets the job done quickest and efficiently, 3: SMALL BUGS are expected however a quick method that keeps them away is peppermint oil 3: NEIGHBORHOOD it’s an older neighborhood however it’s quiet , COMMUTE: 15-45 minutes to the city depending on how far you work as well as traffic, schools nearby for school age children SHOPPING-lots of essential stores as well as other shopping outlets.

I would like to start off by saying for the time I gave them that I needed to have a place Ms Kimverly was very impromptu and responsive and Jessica made sure she read and responded to every single email in a timely fashion when you call with Questions or concerns the staff is very helpful and considerate of what you may be dealing with in your personal life I love these apartments not because I have the Cutest 1 bedroom layout you’ve ever seen 😩❤️ But Because the Women who work for this property you can see they’re care and concern for their residents so a peice of advice for anyone coming be Kind and Respectful it will go a long way. And be considerate of others whom are helping you by taking pride in their positions an doing an Excellent service for you!‼️Also I would like to add that Walmart and other shopping centers are within WALKING distance Most of my Neighbors are quite and mind their business and even if maintenance hasn’t recieved a request per say they are like ALWAYS on the property and very easy to host mini conversations with I said it before and I’ll say it again respect and kindness will get you places rudeness and being inconsiderate can’t Mahalo
