Everything from the application process to my move-in, and my first week or two in my Silver Creek apartment have been wonderful. Priscilla was, and has been, exceptional. I love love love my apartment. I just moved in but I’m very much excited and happy to be living here. Barring any neighbor issues or exorbitant rental increase at renewal time, I already know that I will be living here for the long term. This is a wonderful apt community in which to reside. Definitely give it two thumbs up so far!

Maribel, Lidia, and Max have been really helpful during my time here at Silver Creek. Over all great staff and I honestly like living here. It’s also central to everything. Would recommend living here!

I lived here for a year. It was a fine landing placing moving into Austin. Overall a good place to live.I know some of the other reviews say otherwise but it really is fine. Things may have gotten better than before.I’m a Type B kind of person so while there are some complaints it was fine living here. If you’re Type A I could really see how they could bother you.Pros:First of all, the location is very central which was the selling point for me moving in. I could bike down to the Lady Bird Lake trail and to many fun spots in South Central and Downtown.The rent is very cheap for the area, unmatched most places. The 2bed plus sunroom (which is a walled-in patio that’s like a third bedroom) was huge for the price!My unit in particular, I liked the view of downtown, the trees, the appliances all worked, it got a lot of sun. I would say it’s good quality but by no mean new or modern which didn’t bother me at all.Maintenance requests were always fulfilled very timely, sometimes same day or next day. When they had to replace my water heater they even prorated my rent for the days I went without. The maintenance team is great, personable and hard-working.The office staff changed a month or so after I moved in but Miguel and Ashleigh (new staff) are great office staff. They always take care of administrative things in a few business days.ConsThe office is only open M-F 8:30-5:30 until they find another new staff member for some specific role I can’t remember. - this was fine for me, but if you work bankers hours it could be difficult to get ahold of the office. The offsite phone calling people usually couldn’t help me with my issues but I imagine they can for some people.About half the washers and dryers in the laundry mat work well, the other are chronically fixed and then broken again. I figured out which ones work and only use those now. If you move in, just ask another resident and I’m sure they’d share with you their list of which ones work.Not like the complex could do anything about this but I wish there was a back entrance because turning onto first street during rush hour can take a few minutes and when you’re in a hurry can be frustrating but the lights always turn red eventually and you can get out there- the school speed zone also really helps turning outThe painting in my unit was very sloppy with like not at all clean lines -this didn’t bother me very much but it’s important to note if that kind of thing would drive you crazy

I am so pleased with how helpful and amazing the office staff has been. They went above and beyond to assist me as a resident and I would recommend Silver creek to all my friends, because of how amazing office staff is! They are timely with any needed maintenance and the environment always feels friendly and welcoming!

Great apartment complex. Staff are nice and approachable. Maintenance is QUICK. Location is great, and neighbors are generally quiet and respectful. There are times where people sneak into the pool at 2am making a bunch of noise, but thats not necessarily the propertys fault.Rent is a bit more expensive than Id like, but I know this location isnt cheap.Here are a few things most apartment shoppers might generally look for:-NO pest problems-Our power has never gone out in 12 months of living here. Water went out once.-Management staff has always been nice to us and our dog.-new appliances (we have an upgraded apartment, so I think some have older appliances)-Really nice pool.-Laundry washers and dryers are less than one year old (as of spring 2014). They run on either quarters or debit card which is super convenient.-The gym sucks, but thats not why we chose this place.-It can be tough to turn left onto 1st street due to traffic in this area.-Neighborhood is decent. Havent noticed any troublemakers (something I take seriously to ensure the safety of my girlfriend).We really like this place. The only thing holding us back from renewing is the rent is going up a bit, and we were already stretched to our comfort zone with our initial rent bill.

The staff is absolutely amazing!! The Property Manager, Madi is so sweet and you can tell she really cares about her long time residents and new ones as well! Great location, great property management team and wonderful maintenance staff as well!Thank you so much to all of you!

I just moved in about two weeks ago, and Im writing this review because Silver Creek is such a hidden gem! Im from Austin, I grew up in the neighborhood right behind the complex back in the day, and I still get ol school Austin vibe in the complex. Everyone Ive come across has been super helpful, and actually work with an urgency to fix your problems. I just want to say Ashleigh their leasing agent is awesome! Super friendly, knowledgeable, and to the point. Also Julian and Max the maintenence dudes are fast and efficient. So far its been great!

The SilverCreek staff both office and maintenance have been amazing. During my current move into a new unit they were fast and attentive with any repairs that’s needed to be made, they checked in to ensure it was up to my standards and I appreciated all the work they have done, I’ve already recommended this place to my friends, and always will.

I loved this apartment. I am moving out at the end of the month to move closer to a job up north, but if I didnt have to leave I wouldnt! Im on the third floor. I never hear my neighbors. The pool area is pretty nice and fun people are generally there. Its all young professionals around here, which is nice. We have some issues with people letting their dogs poop wherever and not picking it up, but in the grand scheme of problems to have at a complex, Id say that is small potatoes! Its an older complex from the 80s, and yes it feels like it a little bit, but the price is more than its worth for getting downtown or wherever you want to go. I am going to miss this place so much!

Those are great old-school apartments, with a decent minimum to live comfortably and experience live music capital side of Austin.The biggest pro is a maintenance - very quick and efficient. Also, you will like comparatively low prices and livable floor plans.However, if you are looking for the newest appliances, multiple variations of fitness machines, modern designs with impractical layouts, you wont be impressed.

Diligent when it comes to work orders. Awesome that there are two pools, one of which has some tree shade and the other has a volleyball net. Tenants are chill and keep to themselves. Lots of nearby food options and a gas station literally across the street. Parking availability is never a problem either.

Location, location, location: I keep renewing my lease because this is such a great place to live. The office staff is always helpful, problems in the apartment are fixed immediately by a competent and professional support staff, and we are close to great restaurants, clubs, and shopping.

Great location and great price. I’ve lived here off and on over the years and never had any issues. Quick to resolve any maintenance request and great help working out any modifications you need to your lease.

The office staff worked very hard to help me get the ideal apartment. The location is great and maintenance staff is prompt and friendly. This is a comfortable and quiet neighborhood with friendly neighbors and staff.
