    It has been great living here for +1 year. The place is great for my husband, myself, and kitty. Although, I wish the apartment was clean when we moved in. There was dog food in the corners and in my pantry. There were cockroaches at the beginning and the pest control wasn’t really working. So, we took care of it ourselves and the critters are rarely seen.The staff have been very nice and accommodating to our needs. Maintenance are on top of it on the work orders and we really appreciate that.If I could suggest an improvement for these apartments, it would be more light throughout the driveways/darker areas. It can be alarming to see when someone is walking their pet under little light.Other than that, great job! We are looking forward to staying for the following year.

    Living here has been the best living experience I’ve ever had. The apartments are affordable, of good quality, and management is always agreeable and friendly! I love how management will have tenant appreciation events with food and snacks sometimes. They are always open to questions and concerns. The maintenance staff is always there for your home repair issues as well.

    I recommend to anyone looking for a more than decent apartment to lease! Very please with how fast and efficient maintenance solves whatever issue it is we need. Sierra Apartments is a truly beautiful apartment complex. Very well kept, spacious, and very dedicated staff that are eager to help out whenever they are called upon.

    I was a tenant here for over 6 years but recently moved out of town. If I could, I would stay here for many more years. First, the location is so ideal. The area has recently boomed so there is much nearby. Even if you don’t feel like going out, the apartment complex has so many amazing amenities like two pools, kids and dog park, basketball court, a new sitting area that has lighting at night, and a bean bag toss for residents and families.The tenants and neighbors here are so quiet and friendly as well. In my many years I never had any issues whatsoever with my neighbors. In addition to that, there’s even onsite police patrol so it just helps have peace of mind.When it comes to management and maintenance staff, they are the absolute best. I had the pleasure of meeting Pete and Elena and they are the sweetest and most respectful individuals. I truly felt comfortable and at peace here. If you have any issues with maintenance, it is taken care of so quickly. This is also a very affordable housing option and I am very sad to be leaving such a wonderful location. If I were ever to move back, 100% I will return here!!

    My wife and I moved here about five months ago and we love it. The apartments are not the most modern things in the world, but when we moved it ours was very well maintained and absolutely clean. We like the apartment. Its quiet and suits our needs perfectly. I like being able to sit out on the balcony when the weather is nice. The grounds are also well kept. Maintenance is quick and good- you can even place a maintenance request online and it will be taken care of within 48 hours. All in all, we are quite happy- especially given the price. Ive recommended Sierra to a number of my friends already.

    Great Staff! Great environment to live in. Great amenities! My husband and I have lived here for 2 years and have nothing negative to report. Maintenance is quick to respond even with emergencies. Feels safe with on property police. Pet friendly! Love that staff have some sort of event almost every month where they give to their residents!

    We have been living here for a year and we will be renewing our lease. We love the complex. It is quiet, clean and really get our moneys worth and more. Maintenance respond quickly, the office staff are friendly and also answers all of our questions.We love the pool and the gym. The gated community provides security too. Most residents follow 10mph speed. Neighbors are also respectful. Thank you Sierra Apartments. Looking forward for another year..

    Ive lived in two different apartments in their complex. Initially in a one bedroom and then a 2 bedroom when I expanded my family. Their staff is very nice. The turn-around time for any type of service that needs to be done is usually within hours, but certainly in under 24 hours. I was thoroughly impressed with the service they provided. The rates are very affordable and they offer military discounts. Plenty of free unassigned parking spaces, but you do get a free assigned spot also. Overall, very satisfied and would certainly come back to live there again.

    The management team is hard working and compassionate. I feel comfortable expressing my concerns knowing that they will be heard and dealt with in a timely manner. I could not ask for more. The manager has personally help both me and my family in difficult times. I believe both management and office safe has done more then enough when it comes to mitigating issues within the complex and I couldnt ask for a better Landlord.

    Ive been living here for about a year, so far Ive enjoyed my stay thoroughly. the apartment is comfortable and comfortably priced. the place was already wired for spectrum, so I didnt have to do much to get my internet activated. Its quiet, gated and a 5 min drive to my work. The staff is very friendly, attentive and can answer any questions one might have. My only gripe when I moved in was the color of the buildings but that doesnt affect living there, its just a personal thing thats honestly petty.Overall, Ive recommended these apartments to several friends and co-workers to at least look into.

    My husband & I lived at Sierra Apartments for 3 years, & we had to leave because we moved to a different city. When we were first looking to move out together for the first time, we were a little scared, because we wanted to make sure we found a place that was going to be good to us and for us (being our first time moving in together & all). I am happy to report that Sierra was this place for us. Pete, Flor, the maintenance staff, & Elena (the current employees in the leasing office), made sure we felt safe, secure, & happy. As long as you maintain a courteous, polite, & civil relationship with them, everything should flow nicely for you & your loved one/s. We rented a two bedroom, 1 1/2 bathroom unit & it was enough space for the both of us. If you are a 2 person family, you may want to consider this as your living quarters. Some of our favorite things about our apartment was: The unit has a washer & dryer already included, the division between both bathrooms was a sliding door- which saved a lot of space, the storage closet was spacious, & it had dry bar. Some of our favorite things about the property itself was the following: The property has clean exteriors & landscapes, plenty of parking, quiet residents (for the most part). It also has a gym (recently expanded with new equipment), a basketball court, two pools, & for those pet owners you get a doggy park with lots of pop baggies stations all over the community. Lastly it has my all time favorite service which is quick maintenance. Maintenance had a turnaround rate of 1-2 days. Nothing went without fixing for more than a day or two. Overall, we had a positive experience, a fair rent price, & most importantly comfort & safety. As I mentioned we left because we had to leave to a different city, otherwise we would have stayed living there for many more years. I will say though that if you plan to move out make sure you give the leasing office a 60 day notice & prepared to pay what needs to be payed if you decide to break the lease. We want to wish the leasing office folks at Sierra the best of luck in their business. Anyone who says any different is just a disgruntled ex-tenant trying to lower Sierras true rating. They run a very smooth ship & we would definitely move back in if we ever come back to Harlingen.

    Sierra apartments is a great location and worked out great for me. The staff were very helpful and got me into my place with no problems whatsoever. I had no issues while i was there. The grounds are kept clean and any issues are addressed almost immediately. There is plenty of parking and more then enough room for my u-haul.The manager Elena was very professional and always asked if there was anything I needed. Im looking forward to staying here again in a few months on my new job contract. Thanks to everyone there.Steve

    The Sierra Apartments is a great place to live. The staff is so friendly and helpful. Anytime you have a question, or a concern they are always welcoming to help you and don’t make you feel like you’re a burden. The units are so nice and clean. They take extremely good care of the whole property. I would recommend this complex to everyone I know.

    This is the first apartment complex Ive lived at since I was a child. In truth they are comfortable and affordable. The staff: Elena, Pete and Flor, have always been kind and helpful. The maintenance crew is also both amicable and quick to lend a hand. Im sure there are other good places out there, but you would do well to keep these apartments in mind if you are looking for a place to stay.

    The management and staff for Sierra Apartments are very helpful and shows a concern for their residents. In my opinion they deserve very high Marks. Every concern brought to their attention is handled with urgency, keeping the residents satisfaction in mind. They keep the community informed of any issues that needs attention, while also inviting the residents to events and get-togethers. I moved down from Ohio and Im very happy with what Ive seen and have experienced.

    I lived at the Sierra apartments since 2011. Quiet gated community and pet friendly. Staff quickly responded to any maintenance needed at the apartment. Prices are very reasonable for the area. I highly recommend these apartments to anyone new to the area.

    What a great place to live at, me and my wife have been living here for a while. And we love it very much. The people are friendly and the service is great. We enjoyed every minute of it. Great neighborhood and amazing friends as well. We are planning to stay here forever.

    Nothing terrible. Just things that were out of the management control in a way. More lightning in the surrounding areas, apartment halls and repairing the tall post that will provide lightning to the parking area. It was a good experience.

    They do maintenance request fast and efficiently. The maintenance professionals are knowledgeable and help inform us of the issue. Some of my prior request I didn’t think of as an emergency but they were considered an emergency.
