    Iā€™ve been a resident here a for a little over a year and my experience with the staff(Monique and Brianna) has been nothing short of sensational. Tonight we had a national night out event with games, music(DJ), food and great company. It was a good turn out. They always have some type of event to get the residents together and get to know each other. The grounds are always well kept neat. Thereā€™s no trouble here and itā€™s a great place to live or raise a small family. This had been the best living experience Iā€™ve had with an apartment complex. If youā€™re looking for a place to stay this is it! I could go on and on about this place! 5 out of 5

    Update: 09/2024 We are so happy to report that we are satisfied residents. We are coming up on a year in December and so far we have been very pleased. The entire staff Javi, Brianna, Monique, Aubrey, Mgr Nadynn and maintenance crew has rendered excellent customer service. When we have a maintenance request it is completed in a timely and professional manner. The office staff is always welcoming and very helpful. We love all the activities and festivities the staff offer just to show their appreciation. The staff is very thoughtful, even organized a memorial walk to remember the 911 victims. We love coming home everyday to a peaceful, beautiful, and welcoming place. We are grateful for the entire staff! You all ROCK! From the first day we came to view a two bedroom apartment we were very impressed. The hospitality that was shown by us from Aubrey was excellent. She was very thorough, patient, and seemed just as excited as we were. The apartments are beautiful, spacious, the amenities are awesome, and the grounds are very well kept. I love how there are many activities for the residents, which gives a really family feel. Our application process was very convenient, friendly, and timely. The manager Nadine is very welcoming, professional and has a good sense of humor. She confirmed our approval on today. We are super excited for our new home and look forward to building many memories. I highly recommend Savannah Oaks. if you are looking for a new start. The location is great!

    I have been looking for an apartment for awhile one that was in a good area and still close to my family. Also i loved this area so I didnt want to move to far away. So when i found Savannah Oaks on Vance Jackson it was the perfect apartment complex. Brianna Luera was so helping in my moving process and made it seem so seamless.     Just moved in about 3 weeks ago and so far our experience has been great. I have not tried too much to call the main office but get a very good response from Brianna throughout the move in process and when she was out Aubry was there to pick up easily to see the status of our paperwork. It is nice to be in a quiet area and easily can get to shops, restaurants and the several grocery stores within 2 miles. There are several events each month like food trucks, scavenger hunts with good prizes, and snacks in the clubhouse. Havent had any issues with parking, at least where my apartment is located. We have noticed that it is a little dark in our area and have seen several lights out on the building but that might just need to be reported as management might not know (will be following up with them). Also have noticed some residences leaving dog feces in different areas of the property so not sure if that is being monitored or those areas arent being checked. Its crazy because there are several stations throughout the property with enough dog bags and trash bins that seems to be serviced regularly.Overall still satisfied with the property and thinking of moving to a different floor plan or one with a yard.

    Really cannot say enough amazing things about Brianna!! She was so helpful and welcoming when giving my husband and I the apartment tour! She answered all of our questions and took us twice to see the property before our final decision. The place feels like ā€œhomeā€ to us and we are so grateful to rent here!

    My time at Savannah Oaks has been nothing but wonderful! This new management team goes out of their way to make residents feel valued and quickly cater to your needs. They are tremendously friendly and attentive. They host monthly events and provide many perks for residents enjoyment. You really get value for your money! The apartment complex itself is clean, peaceful, and beautiful. The staff ensures a sense of security and constantly maintains the area. This was my first time at an apartment complex and I can honestly say they truly made my experience here worthwhile!

    When I moved here I had high hopes and they were met within my first few months of living here. I had a problem with my stove and within a day Daniel, Elisha and Carlos swapped it out and installed a new one! Iā€™ve never had a great community and maintenance team in the same apartment before! I definitely see me and my family living in Savannah Oaks for a long time.

    Savannah Oaks is absolutely beautiful and there are two giant dog parks which are perfectly cared for. The smaller 1 bedroom is set up perfectly and has a HUGE bathroom. Absolutely love it. Also: Sasha in the leasing office is the most helpful and kind leasing professional I have ever had the pleasure of working with! Highly recommend.

    Living here for 15 months was such a good experience and small part of my life! although my second night there did not start too great at 4 amā€¦ one of the best maintenance men named Elijah came to the rescue!! he always showed up and showed out every time i needed him. he is the best and my boyfriend and i will miss him dearly!! greatest maintenance experience iā€™ve ever had at all the apartments iā€™ve lived in!!

    I just recently moved into Savannah Oaks and I am so happy I did. Since looking at the property everyone there has been so kind, helpful and gone out of their way to make this the best experience. I have lived in many complexes in the area and Savannah Oaks is by far the best. The leasing agents are knowledgeable and always get back to you. The maintenance have gone out of their way and even went as far to help me when I was moving inā¤ļø The manager Nadynn is excellent and it is more than evident that she takes care of her employees and property. The property is very well maintained and the friendly, attentive staff is proof that Nadynn makes Savannah Oaks an enjoyable place to work AND live at.

    My family and I became residents here in 2021, before the new management team came in, and before the transition it was a generally good experience. Then new management came in and since then itā€™s been an excellent experience! Any concern thatā€™s brought to their attention is handled with so much care and the staff truly shows sincere effort to resolve any issue we might have, big or small. I always leave the office feeling happy, comfortable, and beyond satisfied with their service. Iā€™ve also never experienced living in apartments where the staff treats you like family. To top it off they all work so hard to keep the property looking fresh and clean, provide entertaining experiences for us as a community and overall has helped us feel like this is our home. We absolutely love living here!

    Visited the apartments recently and loved how welcoming the office staff was! Aside from their very open floor plans (which are huge!) I was lucky enough to visit during one of their EPIC resident events everyone writes reviews about and they already made me feel right at Home! Have never experienced any problems with the work orders over the years and the amenities are always clean/working for the residents. After living here for 5 years, I consider this my home and highly recommend to anyone wanting to move here!

    I lived at Savannah Oaks for a year and a half and had a wonderful experience. From the start, the office staff was absolutely helpful, efficient and accommodating. Everyone took the time to learn my name and treated me with respect so I highly value that.Next, the maintenance staff were rock stars. Very polite, helpful, and most important quick and efficient as well. I didnt have many issues at all, but when I did they were taken care of quickly. The grounds and very nice, and parking can be a little tricky with the layout so if its important to you to be close to your unit I recommend budgeting for a parking space.Overall I recommend living here above all the other complexes in this area. I only moved away because I moved to a further part of town and didnt want to commute so long every day. Thanks for the great memories, team!

    I have lived here for about 1.5 years and the front staff was very responsive and receptive to any questions and concerns I had. It sometimes took the maintenance staff a while to respond to some of my tickets and my tickets were periodically closed without being completed. Some of the equipment by the pool has not been working and the gate clicker has not worked on the back gate since I first moved in.

    Absolutely love living here! My baby and I moved in about 6 months ago and all the staff here is so friendly! They go above and beyond to make sure their tenants are happy and everything is working. I had two maintenance requests when I first moved in and they were able to fix them within the first two weeks! I called every day for about 1Ā½ weeks because I wanted to do whatever I could to move in when I first applied. Raquel and Donna were so patient and helpful. Maintenance does a great job at upkeeping everything and it seems like they are always doing upgrades to make the property better, from painting the buildings, to adding more trees, adding dog baths, etc. Plus Im in love with their coffee machine in the office and go every day to say hello to the office staff and get a cup of coffee and hot chocolate for my daughter.

    Coming from a few different living experiences, this apartment has been nothing but amazing.Main Con: Parking, that is about it, and depending on day and time you will find some pretty good spotsPros: Everything, everyone is so friendly, place is kept up nicely, rent is not bad compared to something comparable, noise is very low at night. They often have cool little community events in which some even had FREE food, awesome! The apartment I have is very nice inside and has no issues.

    I came back from out of town and the temperature in my apartment was 85 degrees. I ran into Aubrey, a leasing consultant who also lives on site at around midnight while walking my dog. She was eager to help me get in contact with the off-duty maintenance supervisor. He came to my apartment at around 1a.m. and fixed my air conditioner. Great assistance at such a late hour!

    Lived here for the past year and plan to renew my lease here. Blake and Elijah from the maintenance crew definitely stepped it up with their service when my pipes got clogged and filled in for a plumber who couldnt show. They got the job done asap! maintenance has been consistently on top of any issue Ive had.The little apartment gym is surprisingly stocked with essentials and the common areas are very nice.Having a dog in this complex is nice because theres no shortage of bag dispensaries around the property. Theres also 2 dog parks!The interior of the apartments is well done and finished, a step up from neighboring complexes.

    Iā€™ve been at Savannah Oaks for about a year, I love this community and I feel safe! The vibe is wonderful!The staff is excellent!! They are super helpful, very friendly and are prompt to respond to any matters.The maintenance is so efficient, Iā€™ve had very few maintenance requests, but they all have been fixed on the same day or within 24 hoursI love my neighbors! Everyone I meet in the community has a huge smile on their face and very friendlyThe amenities are always kept clean and kept up to date.Social events hosted by the Savannah Oaks staff are a TON of fun! They bring the community together over drinks and snacks.Savannah Oaksā€™s staff ROCKS!!I definitely recommend this beautiful and safe community

    Ive lived here for a year and a half and enjoy it. My apartment floor plan is spacious with nice appliances, finishes and granite counter tops. The maintenance staff does an excellent job at completing requests correctly the first time and the requests are consistently completed in a timely manner (1-2 days)---I can tell maintenance staff is knowledgeable and well equipped.From the experiences Ive had with the office staff, they are helpful and attentive. Ive never had issues picking up packages or having any questions answered.As far as apartment living is concerned, this property is young and well kept. There seems to be a good mix of working professionals, students and a few families living here. I havent experienced any out of the ordinary excessive noise or disturbances. If youre reading this review and from out of town or state, this is a good area in San Antonio to live.

    Ive lived in the Savannah Oaks Apartments for a year now and it has been great! Old management was friendly and hospitable and the new management, Kairoi, is even better. They schedule events like food truck appearances, pool parties, and even rent out theaters for residents to see movies for free! And the office staff is eager to help whenever I walk into the lobby. Besides that, the community is peaceful and every resident Ive run into has been friendly. Im excited to live here another year!Special thanks to Nadynn, the Community Director, for being super accommodating during the transition to new management and the renewal process. Youre amazing! :)

    5 stars are absolutely deserved here - wish I could give more! My partner and I had less than a week to find a home as we were relocating from three hours away and had gone through not so great situations with other housing options. Raquel gave outstanding, genuine customer service from the very beginning - before we even signed a lease when our friends toured the complex for us, throughout the process of us signing, and afterwards. She worked extended hours and was quick and efficient in her communication to ensure that we would be able to have a home to move into. We cannot thank her enough for being an absolute joy to work with. The rest of the office staff, specifically Jenny and Brandon that helped with the day of move-in process were warm and welcoming as well. After moving in and having a few maintenance issues to work out, the team has been very responsive to our requests and have worked quickly to fix everything in a timely manner. So glad we found Savannah Oaks to call home!

    Iā€™ve been at Savannah Oaks since start of 2020 and highly recommend! I moved in just before the pandemic shut everything down and was able to see the amenities offered before and after and now as weā€™ve reopened. The management recently changed this April and itā€™s under Kairoi property management. Sherman, the previous management was great but Kairoi is certainly making a difference and have changed the vibe here. Theyā€™re always very welcoming and quick to action with any issues weā€™ve experienced. We recently transferred units to a larger floor plan, mid transition to the prop management change, and Nadynn continuously helped us through the challenges we incurred along the way.weā€™ve had maintenance come in after hours on a holiday weekend and solved a problem without any ridiculous waiting. Theyā€™ve already had a few events and have set a calendar of what to expect for social networking within the community. Aside that, the property is clean and safe. Itā€™s not perfect and thereā€™s times where some residents ruin it for others but those are far and few in between. The amenities are beautiful and the location is great. Parking hardly an issue, unless youā€™re by the pool on a holiday but even that is manageable. The pool is beautiful and the outside cabana seating area with gas grills is awesome.

    I am currently living in these apartments and so far we have had a good experience. The staff have been very helpful especially Joanna she has been wonderful. The maintenance crew are very quick at completing service requests as well.The apartments are very spacious, love the laminate floors and garden tubs in both bathrooms, the big walk in closets and the big living room.i dont know much about the security here but so far so good...no complaints so far.

    I just recently moved here and I can honestly say that I absolutely love this place. The staff is extremely attentive/helpful, the community is very warm/welcoming, and the complex is in a great location. Most importantly, my dog loves it here especially with the two large dog parks sheā€™s free to run around in. 10/10! I definitely recommend!

    Ive been living here since April and overall Im mostly satisfied with my apartment choice. It seems to me that management is on top of their game for the most part- aside from dog park maintenance. They do an excellent job of keeping residents informed of issues in the community as well as perks, such as food truck vendors visiting, food drives, etc. The amenities are fabulous (aside from the dog park), the units are spacious and modern, the grounds are well kept, and the staff is friendly and eager to help. With all communities comes crime and disrespectful neighbors, and while I personally havent had to deal with these nuisances, Im grateful that management AT LEAST keeps residents informed of when precautionary measures are most important. Maintenance is quick, respectful and courteous, with minimal turn around time, which is always nice. I am overall pretty satisfied with my living situation, I just wish they would put even a fraction as much energy into maintaining the dog park as they do the other amenities. They NEVER pick up the pet waste lazy owners leave behind unless someone complains. I personally think rather than waiting for residents to complain, they should make it a part of regular routines (residents dont work here- it shouldnt be our job to see that regular maintenance is performed). Im a dog owner to a very energetic pooch- which means we HAVE to use the dog park. Numerous times the dog park has been flooded due to sprinkler system malfunctions (they expect residents to inform them, since they dont regularly walk the grounds), its almost always covered in waste and they tell potential residents theyre looking into adding a water fountain, but then tell current residents its just not possible. Theres no shade at the park and the gate/entrance is not sturdily concreted into the ground- so 1. the gates never latch and 2. the walk way is always an awful muddy mess when it rains. I personally believe that since the dog park looks nice from a golf cart when potential residents are touring, they dont put the same energy into maintaining its quality as they do the amenities that potential residents can take a good look at (the pool, clubhouse, etc.). Overall, I love my apartment, I just wish they cared as much for keeping current residents happy as they do leasing new tenants.

    I never write reviews, but I feel like its warranted in this case. I have lived at Savannah Oaks since they opened in January 2016 and, up until a few months ago, I wouldnt have recommended it. However, we got new management in December 2019 and everything has changed for the better. They didnt waste a moment when it came to improving the community (praise the Lord!). While I agree with all of the negative comments/ratings on here, they are irrelevant now because theres a new sheriff in town and things have significantly improved (and continue to do so with each passing day). Sherman Residentials maintenance staff is incredibly responsive, does great work, and leaves a card when they enter your home (something that wasnt done under the previous management). The trash area is now all cleaned up (hallelujah!) and they took the locks off the recycling bin doors so we can actually open them and easily recycle. They installed security cameras on the buildings. They have cleaned up all the dog poop that used to be in the green spaces. They even sent out a survey to residents to poll on whether wed like on-site fitness classes, and, if so, what kind. Theyve hosted several socials to bring the community together. Ive interacted with at least three different individuals in the front office and each of them was equally knowledgeable, helpful, and kind. It seems weird to say (like it should be a given) but the folks at Sherman Residential really know how to run a community and make it a place you actually want to be. So if you get anything out of this review at all, I hope its that youll disregard the negative comments and add this place to the list of apartments youre considering. Stop by and see for yourself. Its a great location and now its a great community.

We literally felt rushed and forgotten about, but Raquel made everything better! She literally went ABOVE AND BEYOND before I moved in and continue to provide exceptional service after I moved in. If you are considering moving here Id suggest asking for Raquel and working with her. She deserves a raise, promotion and a million other blessings because people like her are valuable

    I miss my apartment so much. I lived at Savannah for two years and these were the best apartments of my life. So peaceful especially when the college students left during covid pandemic lol. But my husband and I decided to move to save money and it was the worst decision of our life. So weā€™re thinking about breaking our lease and moving back to Savannah Oaks. A lot of apartments called themselves luxury but donā€™t own up to it, but Savannah was everything and more with the spacious floor plan, open concept, big closets, and deep garden tubs. The Maintenance team always answered work order on time, but I never really had to call them for anything because nothing was ever wrong with our apartment. Parking was great too even if you didnā€™t have a garage.

    Living at Savannah Oaks has been a pleasure. Not too many complaints. Maintenance is not the best and brightest. I have tried to explain in detail items needing repair and they dont really get it still. I have kinda given up on that. Everything is brand new, there are a lot of resident perks (really beautiful big pool, workout room, etc.) and the girls that work in management are very nice and helpful.     My fiance and I have lived here at Savannah Oaks Apartments for almost a year. We have truly appreciated the staff and quality of our apartment. The staff is very supportive of our needs and are quick to respond. The management is very strict on property rules as they should be; if you are like my fiance and I, we really do admire this since it creates a peaceful and considerate living environment.The location of the apartments is prime time, which allows navigating around top shopping locations and entertainment a breeze! The best part location-wise is that we are just a corner away from the highway. We have experience no break ins and feel very safe here. This is a gated property. My only feedback is that I wish the entrance gate was more advanced allowing one car in at a time. This would just be an extra measure of security.Inside the apartment is very modern with a great sized closets and stainless steel appliances. This beautiful apartment home comes fully equipped with a washer and dryer. My favorite is the garden tub; I love the tiling and size especially since my fiance stands 65... this was very important to us. The one thing I would change is the thickness of the granite counter tops. I find that when you go thin with granite, often times it looks cheap and does not present a smooth finish.The apartment has very nice amenities... a stunning pool with grill areas and a workout facility with the latest technology. The one thing I can say is that I do not like that the office area (computer and printing ) is not open after business hours. Because I work a standard 9-5, with the office closing at 6 on weekdays is a bummer.All and all I highly recommend this luxury apartment home to anyone looking for a peaceful and modern abode.

    We have been living here for past 1.5 years. Management is awesome and the neighbors are peaceful. HEB, Walmart are just 5 minutes away. It is well worth the money and we could not have asked for anything more. With very sad feelings we have to leave this place and move to Dallas. Wish we had Savannah Oaks in Dallas too :)

    Ive been here for a few months now and man do I love it! The dog park is huge! I wish I had a dog (allergies) so that I could take it out there everyday!The pool is gorgeous and there is plenty of seating around it, we live in the UTSA area so it can get a little out of hand at times, but thats just the area, nothing to do with the community itself (They do a great job at trying to keep it as tame as possible! Get out of here with those thong bikini bottoms! *good job Manager Christina*) I love to go out there on game nights and see the fellowship of all the neighbors grilling and hanging out together. Gives you that real sense of community!In response to some of the noise complaint reviews....DUH! everyone wants Wood floors these days, its in demand! Get used to it. Also youre living in a building with what...20+ other people and you think youre not gonna hear anything? Geez what a bunch of babies.The office staff has been nothing but helpful and amazing every time Ive come in with an issue. Theyve gotten things taken care of as soon as I ask!Just a little advice for most of you reviewers below me-If you think youre getting bad customer service, its probably because you are a horrible customer (and by the sounds of your reviews that is exactly what it is)
