    River Oaks Apartments has been a great place for me over the past 6 years. Its location in Tyler TX. is very convenient for me, its surrounded by grocery stores, shopping centers, restaurants and most of all very close to my job. When maintenance is needed in side of my apartment the team is promptly assigned and get the repairs and or job done quickly. The grounds are always clean and nicely maintained, manicured. The management team and workers are Awesome and it is a secured and quiet community. I just renewed for another Successful year.

    While Im really not an apartment person per se, I have enjoyed my apartment home here the last year and just renewed my lease for another twelve months. Anytime I have needed maintenance they arrive and fix anything and of course the pool is another nice amenity. Close to the loop and restaurants and stores. I have enjoyed my stay here.

    Wonderful apartment and the maintenance staff is AMAZING! Whenever we have the slightest issue they are over here the next day fixing it. Our air conditioner has broken down a few times since we always have it on and they have always been kind. They have installed a package locker so you won’t have to go to the front office to get bigger packages any more. The trees on the property are gorgeous. During storms they have knocked over but the buildings are separate enough away that it’s not a huge concern if one falls during tornado season. Walls are thick enough that we don’t hear other tenants and they are constantly updating the outside. The other day they redid the stair’s concrete to make sure they are sturdy. I’m a military spouse so I’ve lived in a lot of different apartments in my day and this apartment is by far the best I have ever lived.

    We have lived here for a little over a year and anytime there is an issue in the apartment, maintenance is on it instantly! I’ve never lived somewhere where they were so quick and precise when there is an issue!!! On top of that the staff is so friendly and the surrounding area of the community is always kept so nice! We actually enjoy walking through the center area where they have picnic tables, hammocks & even grills for the residents to use! 10/10 recommend. We’ve even decided to start our family here!

    The apartment complex is nice for the price. I would say the rent is reasonable. What really sets the complex apart tho is the maintenance crew. The maintenance crew here is first class. Everytime I have an issue with this place, they are quick to respond. Andrew I think his name is, I had an issue with water leaking and he fixed it himself right then and there.

    I decided to wait before doing this review, because I didnt want to base my ratings on a partial experience. I also hardly ever do ratings, but I rummaged through dozens of reviews for various apartment complexes before settling with one (River Oaks), so I hope this review helps someone with their decision too.First, Peyton (leasing agent) is amazing. She has been very patient and kind and she has always kept my best interest in mind when helping me find a new place. She gave me a virtual tour of the apartment, and although I didnt choose that particular unit, she helped tremendously as I chose something more suitable for my family. Her communication is stellar, and she even called to see how things were going once we moved in. I literally felt like I was the only customer she was helping, despite her being the only person up front mostly and having a bajillion other duties!Second, shortly after I moved in, I had a maintenance issue. I decided to enter in a maintenance request using the online platform, and I kid you not, Crystal was here in less than an hour! Ive never seen service that fast. After conferring with her boss (I forgot his name; hes the head maintenance man I think, but he was super upbeat and friendly) turns out they had to order a part to fix my issue, but they were very transparent and informative the entire time. Additionally, the day they said they would be back to fix the problem, they kept their promise. The issue was fixed that day by Michael in about 15 minutes and done quietly so my toddler didnt wake up! Phenomenal.Finally, my 1BR apartment is nice and partially upgraded. The closet is GINORMOUS. Biggest closet Ive ever seen in an apartment or house for that matter. The sinks are big and deep--I can fit my entire pizza pan in them. Theres a pantry and fenced patio. I initially planned to upgrade to a 2BR later for the sake of storage, however this 1BR has a crazy amount of storage. It comfortably fits myself, spouse, and toddler. Also, we are conveniently located next door to the washroom, which makes doing laundry a breeze. Were 1st floor, which is always nice and all of our neighbors are really nice and quiet.Overall, I would 100% recommend River Oaks. This is the best apartment complex Ive stayed in! We plan to stay here for many years to come. God bless!

    I moved here 4 days ago, and my experience has been great so far. Peyton and Louanne have been wonderful through the move in process. Upon move in, the apartment had a clogged sink and the A/C was having issues and maintenance had it resolved in 2 days. The apartment looks great, renovated, and was clean upon move in. The area is nice as well, very quiet and a lot of nature. No huge issues so far, I would recommend river oaks.

    Absolutely loved touring this community! Its beautiful; surrounded with plenty of pine trees, its the epitome of east Texas! Jed was wonderful at showing us around, hes very knowledgeable and extremely helpful! To say that I cant wait to move in would be an understatement, Im beyond excited to call this place my new home!

Whenever I have a question, I ask the leasing consultant, Danielle, and she is quick to provide an effective and courteous response. And though we did have an issue with our AC unit, maintenance responded quickly to fix the problem. Super friendly service!

    Patton was incredible! I was so appreciative to her. She is a wonderful sSales woman and consultant. It was great to see the property and be in the know about the community and the amenities. I am grateful for her help on looking into a new apartment as well as her genuine personality and kindness. The management team here makes you feel like a family, before you even rent here! Thank you Patton for marking the processes easier and for your patience. It’s always a pleasure speaking to her! The grounds are well kept as well and the are having some upgrades in the future, this is nicer then the other apartments I’ve been looking into around Austin and am grateful to hopefully be apart of the Tyler community at River Oaks if all goes well on my end! Again Patton thank you for your help and showing me a family community in an apartment complex!

    Very helpful, proactive, and friendly. Peyton Glass was extraordinarily helpful and went well out of her way to aid me by phone and email as I was completing application 500 miles away. Fabulous agent! Moved in apartment freshly painted and vacuumed exactly as advertised. Painless process with online tools and payment options. Not a fan of the office being by appointment only but covid has many paranoid so I cant hold that against Peyton, who Im sure did not institute that policy herself. Other than that bit of paranoia, as easy as it could have been. Thank you.

    I’ve lived here almost a year, I’ve had some small issues, but they’ve always taken care of anything I sent in either that day or the next day and they always let you know when they’re coming and when they leave so that makes me feel safe. Ladies in the office are pretty nice. I’ve never had a problem with anything too far out. Couple bugs here and there but it’s texas... relax. The only thing that’s kinda off is the lack of a pet deposit. I paid a lot just to have my cat here and pay monthly on top of that. So if you’re animal-less it’s pretty great. Close to town, and down town, and I’ve never had issues parking I’ve parked 2 minutes from my apartment for 8 months. It’s a nice place if you’re on a budget.

    I love living at River Oaks! My apartment is nice and the maintenance is very respectful and gets things fixed very fast! The only problems Ive had are with other residents being loud upstairs at weird hours. Ive also had a cigarette smell problem because people smoke in their apartments. But other than that its a great place for a college student to live. I have lived here for almost a year and I have not once seen a roach which is absolutely amazing! Thank you River Oaks!

    We love it here! we have an apt with a view and the trees keep the cold out as much. we can leave our patio door open all day to save electricity and not worry about noisy or creepy neighbors. we only had one time where anyone was loud but that was just a teenage birthday party downstairs from us.people that complained about the electricity, its their elec company, not the apartments. they even have activities for all the residents to meet up and do fun activities. it is nice place and we have a new and renovated apt that was already painted with lots of shelving. i love it here and they had payment plans to work with us with paying off our cats deposit. i recommend it, especially because were so close to everything that we would want to do.

    I have lived at River Oaks for about 2 years. I had a 2br 1ba upgraded apartment w/ granite counter tops, tiled kitchen & bathrooms w/ a faux wood living room. This is a great area to live in and it is very quiet. I never felt that this was not a safe place to live and it was very affordable for a nice apartment. Management is very nice and theyre always doing nice things for the tenants. Theyve had bingo night and offered prizes, pizza night- where they gave tenants pizza for free, movie nights and we even won a 16gb ipad mini for renewing our lease. I knock a star off because these apartments are very old, that their walls are paper thin and you hear everything that goes on in the other apartments. Thankfully, we had good neighbors for the most part so it wasnt too much of an issue. Great experience here.
