I’ve had a good experience during the past few years here. No major issues with either apartment that I’ve lived in and any needed maintenance is definitely addressed in a timely manner. Very quiet area and nice upkeep.

I have lived here almost 9 years. I love living in these apartments. Management is always more than helpful and very hospitable whenever I come to the office with questions. Maintenance is superb. Quick and efficient. Great place to live.

I’ve been here only a few months so far and absolutely love these apartments. Helen goes above and beyond...ALWAYS! Ever since working with her since day one she is so helpful, thoughtful & caring. Maintenance requests get handled very quickly, the apartments are kept nice, clean and are always quite. Everything is a huge plus, and this place feels so much like home.

I love that I have been able to call this place home for so long!! I have lived here for over two lease terms and it has been WONDERFUL. Me and my kids love it! Such a calm & quiet complex. The office staff is so great! Always there and very helpful. The maintenance is always just a phone call away! They love to and make it a priority to keep the residents happy! I absolutely LOVE living here. I recommend this place to everyone and anyone looking for nice apartments. The grounds are kept in great condition, the gates are always working, and everyone that Ive spoken to here are real nice. I feel very safe in this community and that was my #1 priority in finding an apartment. Ive lived here for a few months so far and never had any major issues. The only complaint is that the apartment didnt seem ready when I moved in. There were multiple rusty screws and nails laying around on the floor that Im still finding to this day since they are camouflaged in the carpet floors I have and I had 3 light fixtures with no working light bulbs. I was told I could come get light bulbs from the office, but I never seem to be off work when the office is open so I am just doing without. Other than that, my time here has been perfect! I dont see myself moving anytime soon.

Update: Just approved my 3rd year lease. I have absolutely loved living here. Since I moved in, they have built a dog park and completely redid the pool. It looks phenomenal! There are brand new grills, and they completely did all of the grounds around the pool. We have not had any security or safety issues since we moved in. And when we saw the new lease, yes, there was a raise in the rent; but it was worth it. Sometimes peace of mind is worth paying a little bit extra for.Update: 9/28/2020 - Moved In! Move was flawlass and fast! Miss Helen had everything ready for us and we signed everything online. Minor mtc items have already been addressed. Now...the property! Can I just say, Thank Goodness! I am finally living somewhere I feel safe! I walk my dog and have met so many neighbors. Everyone seems cordial and at least speaks. There is zero trash on the property, and if there is something that on the grounds we pick it up. There is pride that is taken in the property; you can tell. Miss Helen is very responsive and actually answers emails :) This is good...finally we feel at home and at peace. Keeping our 5 star review!Update: 8/31/2020 - We got approved and are moving in! Miss Helen has been so great through this process. I love that everything is in writing and what I see online is what she tells me in person as well. No shady business.UPDATE: 8/28/2020 - We put our app in - Miss Helen is a gem! We shall see...Original Post: Everything looks good online...Just sent in a request to view. We shall see...These apts come highly recommended...

I recently moved into this apartment complex a month ago. I was skeptical at first, because weve been in a house most of our lives. Needless to say, I love living here. The grounds are kept up, maintenance is efficient, and the manager is super nice.

Been here 9 months, overall great. Quiet and safe. Manager Helen and maintenance Carlos great. A/c went out middle of night on weekend. Called urgent maintenance at 7am and got a hold of someoneandd had it fixed at 930am. Units and stuff in them is pretty old and cheap but good and maintenance is pretty good about fixing stuff.

Been living in this complex for a year now, everyone has been incredibly helpful and understanding. Every question has been answered promptly and with great respect. Mostly quiet community and have lived here mostly undisturbed and without any concern for safety.

Well...I am BIG on reading reviews and ratings when it comes to certain things...if not most things that you can leave a review on. So with that being said...I am looking to move and stay in the Garland area. I have googled and researched so many complexes that are fairly close to where my kids attend school. I finally narrowed my search down to 8 complexes. Which Gateway Place is one of my choices. Id also highlighted this place on my search as well. So of course, most of the reviews that were listed on the other 7 complexes were at least within the year of 2015. The latest one I saw may have been 9/2015. Well, anyway out of the 7 other complexes all and I do mean EVERY LAST COMMENT was DONT MOVE HERE...RAN FAR AWAY...MANAGEMENT IS RUDE...MANAGEMENT IS POCKETING THE MONEY...THEY ARE BUG AND ROACH INFESTED...HOMES AND CAR ARE BEING BROKEN INTO...etc. I can go on and on. Let me tell you something God, is an awesome God. He will take care of his children. When I first reviewed Gateway Place all I did was look at the important stuff like the RENT...lol! Well for some odd reason I never did read the ratings and reviews. But yet and still it was highlighted on my paper...hint hint! So I decided, let me go and read the reviews and what do you know...every last rating and review had 5 stars...ALL OF THEM. Not one or two but ALL!!! Without reading the reviews that says a lot. So I decided to call and get a just a little information. Let me tell you Miss Makayla( hope I spelled her name correctly) was AWESOME!!! So was polite, did not seem to be busy(not saying she wasnt) but in her tone she made it seem that she was waiting just for me to call. Ex: Ive called some complexes and you can just heard it in their tones, it seems or (sounds) like that they have a million and one things going on and dont have time ever; to answer simple questions. Makayla was more than helpful, very knowledgeable and answered all my questions. Even though I told her over and over that it would be the last question. She was patient and willing to answer any and ALL my questions I had. So, now I see why Gateway Place is the PLACE to be...lol! I was told by Makayla, that Nellie is the, Ill use the term Property Manager(for the sake of the review), because I totally forgot who she said she was...sorry! Nellie, I just want to say Makayla represented very well for the complex and she was very pleasant to speech with. Again, thanks Makayla for all your help!Way to GO Gateway Place!!!!

This is my second year here .. This is home when my lease was up I didnt hesitate to renew Helen is awsome she is very kind she took care of everything from the new paint and adding little extras to make my new upgraded apt exactly how I pictured it great management property is quiet safe clean closed off I have recommended numerous friends to this property there is nothing bad to say about this place I love it #226
