As a resident at Portofino, I’ve been so impressed with Ashley and how much she does for the community. On New Year’s Eve, around 5 PM, she went out of her way to help me get a temporary tag for my car, which I truly didn’t expect at that hour. Another time, she made sure my remote was fixed late in the day without any hesitation. She also assisted me with setting up an add-on to my lease, making the entire process so smooth and stress-free.She’s always around, helping residents and keeping everything running seamlessly. It’s clear she genuinely cares about the community and goes above and beyond to make sure we’re taken care of. I really appreciate all the effort she puts in—it makes a big difference!

If you are looking for a place, then your search has ended, look no further. On a serious note, I just wanted to share my experiences with the public and Management. I just want to say thank you. Thank you for treating me like family and ALWAYS being so accommodating. You guys are truly genuine, from showing grace and bringing packages to the tenants, if needed in their time of need. I have met some wonderful human beings here and love that this is a place anyone can call home. Even when people park, they know to leave room so you can get equipment out your car, you name it. Ashley Means was really attentive and had great customer service. She gave me all the information I needed. Ashley was very knowledgeable and showed me all around the property. Being in her presence was warm and welcoming from start to finish! I will be deciding quickly if I can move in but the price was a little above budget for my time frame. If I was able to get the $1345 for March I would sign today.

I am now in my third year here, and I can confidently say that this is the best apartment I have ever lived in. The grounds are exceptionally well-maintained, and youll often see staff cleaning the hallways. They are very pleasant and work hard. Maintenance requests are completed quickly, and any concerns I have can be addressed via email, with prompt responses from the apartment manager rather than an automated service.Its extremely quiet here, which is due to the respect that residents have for one another. You wont hear loud music or disturbances when walking to your apartment. This is a mature complex, and we all seem to be introverts. There’s hardly any traffic in the hallways. The community regularly hosts events like food trucks, pool parties, and breakfasts. You can truly see your money being invested back into the community.The apartment manager, Amanda J., truly deserves a stellar award. She takes pride in her work and runs a friendly and efficient operation. She is genuine, caring, compassionate, kind, and considerate—the list goes on. Amanda treats residents like family and as she would want to be treated.All of the positive reviews testify, because we love it here. We are genuinely treated like royalty! I have leave in this apartment for 7year plus now and when I tell you I have seen improvement so much in the area of leadership. Amanda Jordan the current leasing office manager have brought alot of organization to this building than the last management team. Amanda is superb, she is very proactive in dealing with issue you may have and brings swift resolution to them. She is very attentive to details. She is respectful, responsive and very friendly and kind. I wanted to move away to another apartment with the last team but when Amanda and her team came in with Alma Maricic being one of her top proactive staff, they convinced me to stay with their ways of leadership which has been positive so far and made me stay for upto 7 year and counting. I love my apartment and I love it here at Portofino!!!!!.

This is a great place to live and the staff is amazing and very accommodating. From the first time I toured the place, Alma made me feel like I was already coming home!! She is like the big sister you always wanted and never had!! Amanda keeps you informed about everything going on with the property. They’re a little overpriced for how outdated the apartments are but it’s good space and great reviews which has been super hard to come by in Dallas.

After staying here for 2 years I can say that I’d give this apartment complex a 3.5-4 stars. Our main complaint was the thin walls and noisy upstairs neighbors but that was promptly handled by the leasing office. I would give Alma personally 5 stars. She’s always been so helpful throughout our time here at the complex and was the one who actually got us here. Alma and Amanda have been great to us.

Been here over a year and half & my lease ends in October. Sad to say I don’t believe I’ll be re-leasing due to rate increases everywhere so moving to a house. However if I could stay here for the long term I would.Quiet apartments that are well kept. Trail in the back for walks/runs or just relaxing. Office staff are excellent. Maintenance are quick! The Pool area is beautiful. I’ve had the great advantage of leasing an apt with the pool access from my patio! I’m definitely going to miss it here!

We had a problem with our AC not working and because of my medical condition Ashley along with maintenance made sure it was fixed promptly. It was resolved on a Sunday which really surprised me being the weekend! Thank you Portofino for caring!

Amanda the office manager has been accommodating and extremely helpful.The apartments are both modern and spacious. I was super happy when I found Portofino at Las Colinas! Being a former Div 1 Cross Country & Track Athlete, surroundings are EVERYTHING to me! I love the greenbelt, trail system around the Trinity River and the quick access to the gym for those early morning workouts! This property has easy on/easy off access to the 635 and 35 freeways making my morning commute a breeze! Management has always been timely, professional and great to work with. The Maintenance Team is great too! 5 stars!!!!!!

I havent had any major issues. Ive had minor issues with my dryer and dishwasher, thats about it. Maintenance was quick and it got fixed.I like the area, it feels safe and its quiet. Theres walking trails behind the complex, perfect for taking your dog out for a walk. It is very pet friendly!The gym is quite small, however the equipment it offers is very useful!So far I have enjoyed living here.

I am currently a resident. I cannot say enough great things about this complex.The office team is absolutely amazing and understanding. Non emergency maintenance requests are serviced within 24-48 hours. My only big issue has been neighbors due to having a kid and living on the second floor. Therefore, if you have kids I recommend a first floor apartment. The manager Amanda is absolutely amazing and has been very supportive and understanding during my unexpected life circumstances. I will definitely continue leasing until getting a mortgage!

I absolutely love my apartment and this community! I just moved in about 3 months ago. The apt is so spacious, i got my pool view, and love all my neighbors. Honestly the best part of living here has been the office/leasing staff. They are sooooo sweet and helpful. Always have a smile on their face. I ordered a tv stand from wayfair and there was no way i could carry it to my apt since it was soooo heavy. The girls went out of their way to ask the maintenance guy to bring it up to my apartment. If you are looking for a great community, super nice surroundings, friendly office staff... this is it! Thank you lady for all you do! Mom and I love out apartment!

My experience living here at Portofino of Las Colinas as been such a blessing and wonderful time. Any time I needed anything done, maintenance has handle my issue promptly and always left a note to inform that the issue has been taken care of. Also the custodial staff keeps the inside and outside tidy and clean. Emails are always being sent out of any fun activities going on and updates on anything involving the apartment that the tenets needed to be aware of. But the one thing that has stood out the most is the exceptional service and care I have received from Office manager Amanda and the entire front staff. Anytime I called the office someone has gotten back to me via call or text no later than couple of hours and not more than a day or two. And when I was dealing with personal issues Amanda was so understanding and caring, she even checked up on me from time to time. I honestly wish I could rate this place higher than 5 stars but I Thank God for the entire staff and for making my stay here feel like home.

Nice size gym facility has all you need. Pool, pool table. Its here. Easy access to 635, 35E and shops and restaurants. Stones throw away from BankHead Brew Pub, The Rose Garden and the new Light sphere park. All in downtown Farmers Branch. Lastly, awesome management team headed up by Amanda, Alma & Ashley. I had to think long and hard on this since I have now been here for about 2 years and have my good and my not so good moments with being here. For the most part, Portofino has worked out since its in the center of the major highways and convenient on so many levels. In my opinion, the apartments as a whole can use an upgrade and a fresh coat of paint:) I know for the most part, these apartments are older but again that is just a suggestion. As for the parking in the garage, I believe its been a bit more challenging mid to end of last year. I being a resident on a first floor, common sense would be to park in basement / first floor but boy can it get crowded and spaces are tight. I hope one day management/ownership can restripe the spaces allowing the spaces to be wider for cars/trucks to park so you do not have your vehicles scratched up. Lastly, the management has for the most part ALWAYS have been pleasant to work with the exception of Ulma. This is just an observation since I have been here. I know anytime you go to the office, she always looks very serious or uptight. I know that in the property management industry, staff should have customer service in their blood pouring out to the tenants. I hope that she is able to be provided with constructive criticism and hope to see improvement which can only help her better in her role. But as for Amanda, she has been very attentive to our needs and helpful along with Ashley who we are happy to see back who was here when we first became tenants:)

I am in year two of living at Portofino Las Colinas. The apartment is spacious and comfortable. Indoor parking is great. my neighbors are very nice and friendly. The workout room is fantastic. The pool is nice in the summer. It is close to my work, DFW airport and many good restaurants. The management staff is fantastic and always very helpful. Highly recommend living here.

First impressions were above and beyond the other properties I had visited. The property manager Amanda and the leasing agents greeted me warmly and treated me with personalized care, and gave me a very detailed and thorough tour of the property. I was instantly captivated.2. Cleanliness- I have since been able to meet the housekeeper at Portofino and I will just say that Raquel is the best at her craft and its so evident to all of us residents who use the gym, clubhouse, common areas in the property are always kept tidy and clean consistently.3. Maintenance- Mario and his staff do a great job at responding and resolving any maintenance issues in a prompt and effective manner. Im also so grateful for the excellent upkeep and cleaning of the swimming pool. I can confidently say that Portofino has the bluest, loveliest and cleanest pool in the area!4. Location! Location! Location! Near major highways and close to the newest attraction: Toyota Music Center 🎶 live music and great restaurants

Have lived at Portofino for almost 3 years and it’s a great place in Las Colinas to call home. Amanda and Alma are always quick to help resolve any issues that arise, and try to plan community events including bringing in food trucks for dinners. As a whole, the community is safe and well taken care of and the proximity to 635 is a a major plus. Also a shout out to the maintenace team- especially Mario- for always being quick and helpful!

It’s hard to come by for the price!The staff is always nice and helpful, and worked with us during the epidemic. They always remember my apt number, which is unheard of!The grounds are pretty quiet, and are right next to a peaceful walking trail and lake that have now become my go-to gym! It’s super easy to hop on 635 as well.The complex stays clean & fresh which is great because there are tons of cute pups here. Maintenance is QUICK!!! We had a broken toilet handle (don’t ask), and they came THE NEXT MORNING, and fixed it in 1 minute. We were like, “you’re done already?!”Everyone is respectful and I’d definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a convenient and quiet place to live.

Amanda the manager is very friendly and helpful. If you have an issue they will do their best to resolve it ASAP. Marco the maintenance guy is also very friendly and helpful. They are usually very quick to fix any issues you may have with your apartment. The grounds are kept up very well too. The amenities are great also. They also have a Amazon hub in our parking garage for packages. We would recommend this property to others.

This apartment is located in the perfect area. The area is growing rapidly and it is right in the middle of everything. The apartment isn’t too far from downtown Dallas, Grapevine, or Ft. Worth. Also reasonably priced for the area. Apartment manager Amanda is always willing to help and answer questions when needed. I have a perfect pool view and pool access, not to mention right by the gym. Also love that the apartment utilized Amazon lockers because I constantly have packages coming in.

Management esp. a manager, Melissa, really cares about your needs and tries to fix anything as soon as possible(for example, noise complaints, parking situations, fire alarms). Beautiful modern apartments for a great price! Friendly staff, maintenance is timely, and they take good care of their residents (parties, brunches, great business center, free covered parking). However, the floors and walls are very thin or lack adequate padding and it causes everyone to feel they have noisy neighbors. Ive received a lot of noise complaints and Im quiet as a church mouse. I literally dont know what to do! If I made adjustments it would mean Im not moving at all, not watching television or talking on the phone. At the same time it sounds like my neighbors above me are having wrestling and high jump tournaments day in and day out. I gave the Portofino three stars because Im always on eggshells tiptoeing around my home, afraid to disrupt my neighbors. If they could correct the flooring Portofino would definitely receive 5 stars from me. P.S. If you are a smoker look elsewhere. There is a strict NO SMOKING policy in place. You cannot smoke in your apartment, on the balcony/patio, in the parking garage, or anywhere else on the property. You will have to go across the street.UPDATE: I relocated to a unit on the 4th floor and that has been THE BEST move I could have ever made. I dont hear anyone above me, however, I sometimes get noise complaints from neighbors (often times when I havent been at home...lol). Just goes to show how thin the walls are, you cant pinpoint where the noise is coming from and were stacked on top of one another. Overall, its a great community, Ive lived here for 7 years.

Im a current resident of over 2 years. The complex is quiet and the apartments are decent value for the money in terms of features and square footage. The kitchen was the selling point for us. It is large with quality appliances. The living room is a good size with a great view of the lake and large patio. The bed room and bathroom have an enormous amount of closet space. Our bathroom can be divided with a sliding door.The only thing within walking distance is the Omni at Park West, which does have a very nice bar and restaurant. Groceries, gas, and any shopping requires a drive down 635. The complex is surrounded by empty land, a small lake, and a small wooded area with a nice walking trail. The parking garage is small, so towing is enforced for non-residents, but its better than nothing like a majority of complexes that charge for a thin piece of metal they call a carport. There are two courtyards in the complex, one with the very nice pool, and one with outdoor grilles.

Victoria and Trish are the best!!!!! Those are the only two employees I ever see. They are always happy and always working and have an open door policy. Victoria is always someone I can count on to hear my complaints about life just always a great listening ear. They are both supportive and get things done with a quick turn around when asked. Every time I come down stairs and they are busy (giving tours, helping with packages, answering calls) Im happy for the business. 3/2019Honestly if I could give 0 stars I would. Moving here has been the WORST experience of my life. I moved from CA decided to rent here. From day one I had issues reaching the office, had to send multpile emails and texts to get a response. Everytime there was an excuse oh were out sick or in training. Finally try to do a application that didn’t work for days no refund for application fee for inconvenience. Then I get about 5 wrong lease agreements sent to me. I was given the run around for two weeks on what they could do to compensate for all the mishaps. I finally arrive they offer me a reserved parking that someone already has a pass for. I try to get my storage container delivered while at work they refused to assist. Tried to have my car shipped from CA to my new place they wouldn’t allow that. Then I finally move in the first night all the sinks and water smell like rotten eggs me and my aon couldn’t even take a bath. The next morn which is today my fridge goes out. I put a work order in before wk get home around 10pm and all my food is rotten because no one came to fix my fridge. I swear to GOD the management here is a JOKE! Trish is a joke and has no mgmt experience clearly! DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE!!!!**6/25/20 UPDATE*** 5 STARSIts been a year since my last update and the new staff Amanda & her team are AMAZING! Like night and day compared to the previous mngmt team. Whatever I need they get and they are never too busy. They know me and my kids by name which is huge. I have already renewed once and strongly considering another renewal!!!

This apartment complex is very solid. I have lived here for about 9 months, and the only maintenance problem I have (personally) encountered is dead track lights.For the apartment as a whole, there were two separate instances where pipes burst and flooded a handful of apartments. It was during the winter, so it’s hard to say whether or not that is on them. Also, there was one night where the power was just out completely. Parking in the garage is tough UNLESS you go to the basement, where there is at least one open spot EVERY SINGLE NIGHT. All of the levels have elevator access. Worst case scenario, you have to park outside where there are a million spots available. I’ve only had to do this when I get back after 1:00 AM.The apartments feature simulation wood, granite countertops and above average appliances. Thermostats are programmable and energy costs are much lower since the apartments are hotel-style. One major con is that most of the apartments are going to be a pretty good haul away from the garage. It would be wise to invest in some type of cart or wagon.One thing that I can say is a complete lie is coyotes walking up on you – LOL really? Someone must’ve been high or something. To that point, it is a smoke-free complex. The location is almost perfect.. Even though your reliance on 635 increases, you have George Bush, DNT, Sam Rayburn and 35E as fallback options. Without traffic you’re about 25 minutes from anywhere in DFW, give or take. It is true that there is nothing but Quik Trip and the OMNI Hotel within walking distance, but with even the most basic planning you can knock out everything on your way home due to proximity to North Dallas (depending on where you drive from, of course).For the individuals that do not rent at a place due to management attitude/behavior – that is stupid (IMO), but especially at this complex, if that is your only reason for not renting you will get over it. You will not need them at all as you can pay rent online, submit requests online, and they literally e-mail you every week with updates about something.Lastly, pest control is a non-issue, potentially because of where the trash is held in the complex, but I have never been approached by a possum, rat, cockroach etc. anywhere on this property.

I love living at Portifino at Las Colinas!!! My wife and I moved in sight unseen from out of state and since the second we arrived the staff here has been outstanding! From the management to maintenance for the past couple months, they’ve proven to go above and beyond my expectations. I would recommend this place to anyone!
