Recently renewed my lease and decided I should share my experience while living here. Greenwood Star has done their due diligence and hired staff that has turned this property around. If you are in the market & looking for your next place to plant roots, I hope you consider Overlook Exchange Apartments! Everyone in the front office has been pleasant to work with. The maintenance staff is friendly, professional & efficient! Do recommend. This property is in a great school district, C- UTSA, HS- Brandeis, MS- Stinson, ES- Carnahan. Dog friendly, there is a dog park on the property and access to a recently completed dog park up the street. Access to Leon Creek Greenway trails. I have enjoyed living here!

I had an excellent time working with Overlook Exchange. Inez Mata was very thorough, helpful and overall just a pleasure to work with. I appreciate the time Inez and the people at Overlook Exchange took to help me rent an apartment from them. The apartments themselves are nice and close to everything. I feel that the rent is reasonably priced and that I got a great deal from them. I definitely recommend considering Overlook Exchange when shopping for an apartment.

Adriana at the front office was very nice and helpful. She placed the maintenance request for a new air filter for my A/C unit right away and, since it was on backorder, it would be brought to me when they receive the order. Maintenance man came the next day to bring the filter to me. He was also very nice and professional. Thank you for your help and great service.

Ive been living at Overlook Exchange for about 18 months now and I absolutely love it here. The office staff are friendly (but turnover is high) and the maintenance crew are very responsive.There are food trucks in the parking lot by the office often and they also try to put on several events for people to come and mingle.

As a resident since this complex opened, Id like to see better landscaping upkeep. There are areas all around building #5 and others in which the dirt around bushes needs to be added to cover up the irrigation tubing and also fix the dirt runoff that occurs by the stairwell at building 5.

Michael was great! Right from the moment we scheduled our walk through over the phone. Saturday when we showed up he welcomed us open arms. Showed us our options for both floor plans that we were looking at. If people would pick up after their own pets there wouldn’t be so many complaints about dog poo, I’m not sure why so many people think it’s the office or maintenance responsibility to pick up after a pet they don’t own but I love living here. Overlook is like a luxury resort. The staff r wonderful very friendly, patient, & make u feel so important. The pool & rest of the amenities r A+. Theres always events going on, celebrations . Trash pickup at ur front door. They set up for ur pets w poop bags, trash bins every few feet. Inside the apt. its so quiet never hear ur neighbors. I feel as Im staying in a luxury hotel. Its just a great place u cant go wrong making Overlook ur next new home.

Michael was amazing in getting me a unit on a very tight time frame. After another complex fell through by dragging their feet I was in San Antonio with a U-Haul filled and staying at a hotel for the night. Michael was understanding, professional, and efficient where I was able to move in the next day and hours before what we thought was possible. Maintenance handled my request in a timely manner and did a great job!! I am so pleased!! I have been here since 2020 and love it! The turnaround with the new, current staff at the leasing office has been AMAZING!!! Previous leasing staff were horrible, I decided to stay and renew my lease because I love my space, location and peace, also with the upgrade in customer service. . KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK OVERLOOK EXCHANGE! Its so hard to find good people that provide excellent customer care and go beyond to make residents feel special and safe.

I was referred to Overlook Exchange by a friend of a friend, who had only good things to say. She said the leasing agents work with you and the apartments are spotless.Upon my first visit, I discovered she hadnt told me the HALF of it! These are truly apartment HOMES. They are well built, with luxury amenities.I viewed three layouts and in each I was delighted by the privacy in each apartment. When you open the front door, you come into an ENTRYWAY as opposed to walking right into the living room.One of my issues with other 2br 2ba apartments is that usually, one bathroom can only be accessed through the bedroom. Overlook Exchange has thoughtfully designed their homes to include double doors for their bathrooms, allowing access from the hallway as well as the 2nd bedroom.The amenities are incredible, too. Overlook Exchange looks the same in person as it does in photos. I laughed to myself when Angel, one of the leasing agents, gave us the tour.Theres a coffee bar, resort pool, business center, and a massage room that can be reserved for other beauty treatments as well. Oh, and right behind it is the tanning bed. Its a resort you never have to leave-- as long as you pay your rent!Beyond the amenities, the leasing office is full of kind, helpful leasing agents. Angel was so personable and thorough during the tour, and she is an excellent presenter. While viewing one of the rentals, she touched base with maintenance for a key. It was nice to actually SEE a maintenance man. I know if I have issues I wont be left waiting for repairs.Most recently, I worked with Inez to finish my application, and she did a spectacular job. She made sure I knew what special rates were available, and contacted me promptly to ensure my application was on track. Im so pleased with the care and service I experienced at Overlook Exchange. I am excited to live here for many years.

I can say that its much more better now. Also want to mention that Angel is a true professional. She was very helpful during our renewal process. **Long review ahead!**My fiancee and I were on the market for a new apartment and had toured many apartments over the past two months. We had actually checked out Overlook at the beginning of our search and spoke with a different consultant that is no longer there considering after our last visit we found out they had just changed their management. However, we wanted to give others a look and make a decision at a later time.We came back again this month in September and was helped by Michael Lopez. He was absolutely, amazing! When he mentioned they had changed management due to other circumstances, he stated that he and other new consultants were all on mission to make things better and was super ecstatic about events they already planned on having for all of the residents every week which definitely caught our interest!So on our initial tour with Michael, we had toured 2 different floor plans and as much as we loved the layouts, we were looking for something on a different floor. He then offered to look into the system again to double check if he had something for us and luckily he did! He toured the unit with us and we fell in love with it and decided to go for it! Throughout the process of applying on the computers in the lobby, he was EXTREMELY patient and helpful with all of the questions we had thrown at him. Michael for sure went above and beyond for us and stayed in touch with us in a timely manner throughout the whole application and move-in process. My fiancee and I have been here almost a week and do not have any complaints. This area is absolutely perfect and you are near anything and everything you would need whether it is for shopping, groceries, or dining! We are most definitely happy with our decision to call Overlook Exchange our home!

My experience with the staff has been amazing. I walked in on a Saturday morning with no appointment and Kyle was more than willing to help me. I had been to other complexes in the area and had been rejected for no prior appt. He answered all of my questions. Showed me two apartments and a month later I moved in. The application process was a breeze! From move in, my experience still continues to be amazing. Olga from the office is very attentive and helpful. I highly recommend this complex!

Jacky and Olga both did a great job in helping me find the perfect apartment that suited all of my needs. There was a bit of touch up work that needed to be done due to the last tenants pets, but huge shoutout to Travis, Geno and Alejandro for coming through promptly and taking care of everything. Its been almost 2 months now and I havent had a single issue since moving in! Really appreciative of Kelly, Kyle and the whole front office of really making it a great experience overall! Wow I have seen a pic of the founder of these majestic, amazingly designed and built apartments! The founders and investors, builders, architects, ect.. all did an awesome job. I have lived here for 20 days and always look forward to coming home to the big apartments this cool lady has built. She really is a role model to me. I think this is one of the most luxurious and perfectly priced apartment complexes in San Antonio, maybe the world. Derek and Hiram and Alex were great and a blessing compared to the staff at our last apartment. The laundry facility is great, garages for your cars, electricty&a/c& plumbing work great, nice closets and you can upgrade your apartment if you need a bigger one. I think God appreciates this nice entrepreneur and her team for building this reside for everyone. Thank you also for the 1 month free special on the perfect 18 month lease.Adding to above paragraph after finishing 17 of an 18 month lease in a elegant two bedroom ,spacious apartment folk fun for your dog in the dog park, can run and play and interact with other dogs, will be missing this fully functional, super understanding staff, beautiful place to live, I highly recommend ghis place , come by,Also I am paying my last mont 18 on lease late and Phelomina in office was so nice to me two months in a row so understanding, beatiful apartment complex, SAPD is close by too highly recommend this place friends!

My fiancé and I have been having a very hard time trying to find an apartment that was our budget and exactly what we wanted until we found these apartments!! We called and had a tour set within 10 minutes, Jacky was amazing she was very welcoming and helped answer any and all of our first apartment owning questions. She made the apartment process so much less stressful and was able to breakdown everything for us! Kyle was also a big help with answering our questions we had about rent and maintenance. These apartments are awesome and feel like one big community. Maintenance is attentive, parking spots always seem to be available and overall a great move in experience!! (Not to mention they have awesome elevators that allowed us to move within an hour)

Raquel was great in assisting us with the move in process. For the minimal maintenance things Ive had done (removing wasps etc) they have come within an hour or two of creating a work order, and our apartment is great!

This place is amazing. Its a very neutral & generally quiet environment. You rarely have any disturbances around the area, which is relieving if youre moving in from a noisy neighbourhood. Update :: Alex the maintenance Manager is 5 stars!! He tries his hardest and truly cares as if it’s his personal property. I’ve now been here for 2+ years and he is the only constant employee. Elevators not cleaned regularly, patches that need painting since I moved in 1 year ago have not been touched. Hallways are carpeted but never cleaned and smells filthy. Essentially the building are not well kept.Staff is nonchalant about everything and do nothing more than the basic required if that.All complexes possiblly had trash not picked up by vendors due to storm this week but Today is Saturday 2/20. Trash has not been picked up since last Thursday... hallways are like garbage dumps..... unsanitaryApartments are nice but they cannot get proper management. No sense of urgency.3 stars is for the building only as in the actual structure without whoever owns and runs overlook exchange. They get a 0

Overlook exchange has so many floor plan options to meet many needs. There is a great community culture as well! The front office staff (Michael is my favorite) is very responsive and does a great job of hosting an awesome variety of weekly Resident events (both adult and family friendly)! There are so many great amenities on sight (24 hour gym, dog park, saltwater pool, grills, computers and printers, laundry facilities, and even a tanning/massage room). I love that some of the buildings have elevator access and all of the units are renovated with eye-pleasing features. Im very excited to have made this place my home after months of apartment searching. I must say the only negative to this property is the lack of gates around the community. If there were gates that kept only authorized visitors and guests in the property this place would be the perfect apartment. However, the property is fairly quiet and calm, but having gates would be even better.

I’ve lived in several apartments but I haven’t been this comfortable and content in such a long time as I am now that I live at these apartments. Maintenance is great, super fast. Management has so many event for the residents, lots of food constantly and different treats for residents. Management also really cares about residents and their needs. Michael has been great and really gets to know the residents individually. The office staff is so nice and welcoming which doesn’t happen often at many complexes.. definitely recommend!

I’m all about taking the time to recognize good treatment when it happens since I have not been treated well at 6 other places I went to. I have been looking for a place within my budget but beautiful in the past 2 weeks and every time I went somewhere they seemed like they didn’t want to do their job, never knew exactly what was available or the prices or didn’t really care about earning my business. That stopped when I came here and was helped by Beatriz today. Even before I went I called first since I was tired of driving around for 2 weeks and wasting my time. She was so nice and bubbly on the phone and Was able to answer specific questions I had right away AND invited me to come for a tour (instead of other places where I basically had to beg for a tour and they always seemed confused). When I arrived she was there to great me with a smile right away. I told her I was on a very short break from work and right away she got the point, got my ID and we head right to the units I wanted to see. I found my place finally but what convinced me more than anything was the way I was treated. That always matters the most to me since I’ve worked in customer service for over 22 yrs And I know how important great customer service and great attitude is. I applied today ( same day) and Beatriz already got everything processed and done so I will be moving August 1st. She made the entire process so easy and flawless that I wish I would have come here 2 weeks ago and could have saved a lot of gas, headaches and worries. I’m really excited to have found my new home. I moved into my apartment at Overlook Exchange almost two weeks ago and I am pleased with the exceptional service provided by the leasing and management team. Moving from Dallas in such a short amount of time, I was able to acquire a spacious 1 bedroom with the help from Michael (definitely recommend asking for him)! The staff is very welcoming and feel like family, catering to the needs of the residents. The complex tenants are super friendly, making the environment feels safe. I lived at this apt complex from Dec18-May19 and it was BY FAR the best renting experience I have ever had. The facility is amazingly beautiful, brand new and, peaceful but more importantly the staff is second to none. Beatriz, Raquel, and Donna are polite, intelligent, and very understanding. They would help me with anything I needed (I’m pretty needy) and it was nice to always know they would be there with a smile ready to help or steer me in the right direction. I only moved to get closer to work but I sometimes think the drive was worth coming home to overlook exchange because it felt like home & I have the staff to thank for that. I live on the 4th floor and the elevator is always broken. This present time it has been down about a month. It is inconvenient to say the least lugging up groceries and having to carry my child up and down the stairs. I had a flood in my apartment which should be considered an emergency, and it took one month for a response. I had to get a plumber ASAP, and that was at my expense with the apartments being relieved they didn’t have to deal with it. The valet trash conveniently forgets to pick up the trash on the 4th floor when the elevator is out. Forcing me to take it on my own, although I pay $30 a month for the service, and you can’t imagine the smell from the collection of trash in the closed quarters. If all of that doesn’t deter you then call in and speak with Sylvia. She is rude, condescending and an absolute nightmare to speak too. I am glad I record conversations so I have proof of her disgusting attitude. Do yourself a favor and stay far far away from these apartments. You and your family deserve better!

After living at Overlook Exchange for over a year I must say it has been a great experience. All the amenities are well maintained and openly accessible. Donna, Michael and the rest of the team in the front office are very welcoming and friendly. Communication is always timely for any events or other community news. The pool and gym are both nice and there are computers for resident use in the front office. The rooms are sizable and kitchen features up to date equipment. Certain units come with a balcony while others come with a sunroom which goes for the washer and dryer as well so keep that in mind. Community events and even exercise classes are held often and any residents are encouraged to partake! All in all its been a great time spent here!

I like the gym, it has everything so need to spend money on a gym membership. The location is very convenient. The Leon Creek Greenway Trail is 0.5 mile walking distance from the apartment. The only problem we faced with are the spiders since we live on the first floor. Recommend this place!

I was having a very hard time finding a good place to live and when I was down to one day left to find a place before I started my new job, Kyle, from Overlook Exchange, answered my phone call at 6pm (which is when they close). Kyle was outgoing and understanding in that moment and stayed on the phone with me while quoting me on apartments and reassuring me he would personally do everything he could to make sure I was in an apartment the next day. First the staff are so friendly, maintenance responds very quick and all you have to do is make a request online, and the pool is my favorite, my son loves to go there. The last event they had was back to school Party, they gave the kids free backpack and school supplies(my son was so excited to have a blue backpack :)

I am fully aware that that is not the office managers job. The fact that they were willing was beyond what I would call superior service! She not only brought in organization and a better overall management of the property but she also built a awesome team especially Michael who is so outgoing and energetic!They also get to know their residence. As a resident of Overlook Exchange for 2 years-When we first moved in, we weren’t happy with the pervious management. The staff weren’t exactly friendly and they lacked a lot of communication. It was so awful that we wanted to leave.However, since the new management took over, it was much better! They were so caring, friendly and they are very good at communicating, especially when one of staffs tries her best to learn American Sign Language so she can communicate with me and my kids who are CODAs. We are very blessed to have someone like her. They are a team that works together very well. They provide a lot of fun events at clubhouse which is exciting for someone who lives there. Most of events are kid-friendly and they were fun. it can be educational sometimes. They also offer some classes for exercise such as Zumba.About this apartment, it is awesome because it includes the gym, the pool, and an elevator. They also will pick up trash at your door as scheduled. It’s very modern looking & very clean & spacious.The maintenance team is very excellent & will tend to every task.I recommend this apartment for anyone, it can be for a family or a single person. No regrets here. I think this apartment is the best among the others.

My social security card was recently sent to the wrong apartment through mail delivery. After figuring out which apartment it was sent to, I knocked (to no response) and ended up leaving a note on the door before going to the main office. As always, the staff helped me out to the best of their ability and told me that the apartment was a vacant model. There was no mailbox for the room so the only possibility left was that someone had stolen my social security card. As it turns out, maintenance saw the parcel on the doorstep and immediately delivered it to the main office. This just goes to show how much work is done by maintenance and how much everyone here cares about their clients. I have not received such a consistently great service from any other apartment complex.

We are retirees from southern Indiana. And this was our first experience in apartment living. We think we really lucked out with Overlook Exchange. Our daughter and her family live in San Antonio so we came down here last winter for a couple of months and stayed in a cottage. We really liked being down here with daughter and family where it was much warmer than Indiana so much that we decided to stay for three months this winter. There were a few criteria that our living space had to have: we wanted to be fairly close to our daughter, we needed an elevator and we were looking for a short-term (3-month) lease. We found that Overlook Exchange offered all of those things. Other pluses that sold us on this apartment were the choice of balcony or extra living space (we chose the extra living space); certain floor plans offered a washer/dryer combo; and the complex is conveniently located to stores, restaurants, theaters.....anything you could want. Only a few blocks away are dental services, churches, barber/beauty shops, drug stores, gas station/convenience store, a post office, you name it! Stated in some of the negative reviews is a noise problem. Thin walls was mentioned. We had neighbors on both sides and did NOT have a noise problem. IF we had to say there was a noise problem, it was with the noise outside: loud cars, dogs, kids. And these noises were only occasional, as one might expect when living in an apartment complex, not constant. As a matter of fact, we did not encounter ANY of the complaints we read about in the negative reviews. We did not give five stars because no place is perfect. But Overlook Exchange comes very close. There were a few hiccups along the way and the office staff (particularly Beatriz and Michael) helped correct any and all problems we encountered in a friendly and highly professional manner. Any concern I voiced was dealt with in a timely manner and the office staff worked with me until I was satisfied each time. WE WOULD DEFINITELY RECOMMEND OVERLOOK EXCHANGE TO ANYONE LOOKING FOR APARTMENT LIVING! Well done!!!

When I moved down here with my two-year-old twins in late January 2019, Michael had been my contact here for the two weeks prior. He was extremely helpful and accomodating. I had a hard time finding a place that was not only big enough, nice enough, and a good fit for our family, but it was also difficult to find somewhere that allowed for a short term lease for military families. We moved down to San Antonio from St. Louis, MO, because my wife was about to graduate from basic training for the USAF and started technical school here. For her, that was scheduled to be a four-month stint. Then we are off to Biloxi, MS, for the next phase of her training at the end of May. I can only hope that wherever we live in that location will be as amazing as our experience here. Not only Michael, but the entire staff have been wonderful here. My kids always say office, office when we are finishing walking our dog and heading back to our apartment. They like to see Raquel the most (sorry to everyone in the office; they chose a favorite!) This place is dog friendly and Raquel, Beatrize, Donna, and Michael, as well as the maintenance staff, are all kind and will wave to my kids and say hello. Its the little things that make staying here enjoyable.

Moving in for me was quite the hastle due to my job sending my out of town back to back to back yet they were very accommodating for me even had maintenance go in and double check after me to make sure everything was ok after I did. Apartment is spacious and area is kept well maintained

I have lived here for about 13 months and haven’t had a problem yet. The management here is great, and they always try to have something fun planned for the residents. Maintenance is quick to resolve any problems and I love the dog park they have here. The pool is awesome too.

Nothing but a great experience with this complex. Michael helped us get the apartment, and made the move so much easier. Everyone in the front office is amazing!! Very helpful and knowledgeable about everything. I would definitely recommend these apartments to anyone looking into them!!

My leasing agent Jackelyne was awesome from day 1. I was having a hard time finding a place to live since I work all over the country and she made my life easy. I just picked up the phone and called and told her what I needed and when I was coming in town and when I’m available and she did the rest. I told her I needed to find something by July 7th and she made it happen. I will be sending anybody I know that needs an apartment to Jackelyne since I know they will be taken care of. The apartment complex is less than 3 years old, and the appliances, and hardwood flooring is very nice. I got the sunroom model and its a great space with big windows that just make the apartment look bigger. The machines at the gym are very brand new and the rest of the equipment is as well. I really recommend this apartments to live in, close to UTSA campus as well!

Our shower head has been broken for months making it spray all over the place and has caused the walls to mold and peel. We had to replace it ourselves after buying lime away and soaking it off. We finally got someone to look at it after it was replaced because there’s mold everywhere, but they didn’t do anything about it.

I was interested in renting here and came out to view the property and a unit. The staff was great and the property was very clean and had great amenities. Unfortunately the job I had here in San Antonio fell through but still very interested in living here when things fall in to place for me again.

I was starting to get overwhelmed with my apartment search when i went to Overlook Exchange. I figured it would just be a buffer between me and choosing the best of the worst of what i had seen so far. But Overlook blew me away and it was ably presented by Michael L. I only saw one apartment but the layout was logical, it had a gorgeous view and great space for the price. If i had one complaint its that the floors are mostly carpeted. I would have prefered hardwood or tile in the dining room at least.

Just had a tour of this beautiful place with Cantiana Clark! I flew in from another state and had to reschedule multiple times due to flight changes and they were very helpful and responsive! The management in this place has gone downhill I have lived here for over 4 years and this is the worst manager we have ever had he does nothing for the tenants he doesnt even acknowledge us and refuses to speak to us. The maintenance guy Alex does more for the tenants he goes above and beyond his duties is always polite always willing to help out always smiling they should have more employees like Alex the maintenance guy he is all for helping the residents unlike the management team the only reason why I put five stars is for the maintenance team especially Alex if it was up to me I would put zero for management
