    We moved into the community in August and have had a really great experience so far. Our apartment has had a couple of maintenance issues and management has been really responsive. We had a ceiling leak awhile back late Sunday night and there was someone over stopping the leak within 20 minutes. Contina and Evelyn are very communicative and really care. We have enjoyed getting to know our neighbors and seeing how long some people have been staying in the community. Weve loved our apartment so far and really see it as a place we want to stay at for a good long while.

    The pool and gym are amazing and really peaceful clean and you quiet ...unfortunately...the maintenance staff is out here chain smoking blunts/ or cigars...nobody will answer in the office at 215 on Friday Ive left voice mails o have pictures...its especially frustrating when I was not even allowed to use the pool because of my tattoos and appearance for so long..now I cant even vape In my car without a fine. But I can sit and watch this with not a single soul to take control of the situation..just wanted to let yall know.. I love Contina..but I mean .. Im really feeling ostracized here in light of multiple w events that were clearly not ok..I wont go any further out of respect for the good management. Just asking for some fair treatment

    I just moved in! Ms Ruth is truly amazing and accommodated me and my father so nicely! So very friendly and helpful with the application process and showing of the propertys! I know I will enjoy living here :) the neighbors are super friendly too! I’m excited and blessed to be a part of this community :)

    Oaks has been fantastic for our move in experience. You cannot beat the location. The grounds are beautiful. The manager is friendly and on top of everything.Update. We stayed at Oaks White Rock for 7 months during house remodel. I cannot say enough good things about how much I enjoyed living here. The staff were exceptional.

    The best place you can rent is called Oaks White Rock. Its a super quiet place, its right next to the lake and shopping centers!! The staff is super friendly, organized and knowledgeable in what they do!!! Very good place 👍

    Fantastic tour, fantastic professional and friendly manager. I loved see real time layouts of apartments, so that when the time comes, I can make an informed decision on which apartment would fit me best. I was kind of waffling on Oaks White Rock, since I was not able to see the whole layout of the facility, but now that I saw it, I really feel like it will be my choice if something opens up when I need to move in the spring. I also love hearing about the longevity of the current residents.

    I have been here for about 8 months now and this is by far the best place around the Mesquite/ East Dallas area. Whether its location, environment, or finances; this place, after researching around 25 places (and choosing this one of course), is by far the best.The location is right next to the park, its a really safe area, the maintenance crew is amazing, and its overall quite clean.I also wanted to make a review to emphasize Ms. Contina Rice. She is amazing, professional, and kind. I have personally seen her be compassionate and helpful to everyone regardless of the race, background, or any other traits. Theres a reason 99% of these reviews talk about the awesome leasing process.The rest of the staff is also cream of the crop. Really quick to respond, always trying to be friendly, and does the job right.Only gripe really here is parking, but almost every parking spot is full at night so I get that expansion is extremely limited.

    We just moved in and are so impressed with the staff here as they have gone to untiring lengths to ready our apartment for us. And the apartment itself (a 2 bedroom) is stunning. The way the windows bring the outside park inside is a favorite. We love the whole feel of this serene and friendly place.

    I love this complex! I’ve lived here for about a year and a half and did not hesitate to renew my lease. The location is amazing, the neighbors are quiet, and the office is so nice! Maintenance is quick, nice, and always fixes issues. I really can’t complain about any of it!

    The workers were very friendly and worked quickly (maybe too quickly), but they didn’t show up when they said they would. Took them 5 days to complete a 2 day job. I asked them not to resurface tub or remove towel bar, but they did any way. Now I have to wait two more days for the tub to dry.The tile didn’t fit properly, so instead of cutting the tile to fit, they filled in with grout. Looks very unprofessional and tacky.

    This is truly the best apartment I’ve ever lived in, because they are maintained but such a great team! Contina, Fransisco, and Dean are truly amazing and show that they care about the residents just as much as they do for the property. Highly recommend here!

    I don’t know what more I can say about Oaks White Rock. I’ve lived here twice( spent 2 years in Alaska) and it’s home for 16 years! There is no comparison on my life here to other locations. The grounds are beautiful, the wildlife I can view anytime from my upstairs patio facing White Rock Lake and Park. The absolute feel of safety and convenience to everything I need to be near for shopping and fun! Personnel are like old friends.. Maintenance is always spot on…glad to be here…..

    I been here for almost two years now and I must say, These are some wonderful apartments. The office staff/maintenance is great. I have no complaints The property is always neat and clean it’s so peaceful. The tenants on the property are very friendly.

    This community is adjacent to White Rock Lake and has its own gated entrance to the trails. I am literally 5000 steps from the water. The property is well maintained and the maintenance staff are knowledgeable and responsive to all requests. My apartment faces a creek and was completely renovated before I moved in with hardwood floors, new stainless appliances, quartz countertops, full size washer and dryer and new deck on the balcony. My neighbors are friendly and respectful. The management team is the best and go out of their way to accomodate all concerns and reasonable requests. I understand there is a wait list to rent here but if you can wait it will be worth it.

    I’ve been living here since 2021 and I still love the apartment complex and the community. The property staff and Contina Rice are amazing, they go above each day. The location of these apartments is great, leads to the White Rock lake. The parking availability isn’t the best but they have now implemented parking passes for residents and all visitors must park in designated area which is helpful. Overall I’m still satisfied living here!TJohnson

    Overall, an A+ experience! The lake makes it an ideal location, while The Oaks community makes it a tranquil and truly pleasant living environment. Management and maintenance are exemplary—caring, friendly, efficient, and professional. Grounds are well maintained and beautifully landscaped with seasonal fresh flower planting. Im active and in the 60+ age category, and this has been my very best living experience in a rental property.

    We waited over a year on a waiting list to get into these apartments. Love the location right next to White Rock Lake, close to work and so much to do around the area.When we go into our apartment I was a little disappointed that they were VERY old. They have updated the outside but could do a lot more for the inside! We had several issues with major stuff (i.e. Dishwasher was leaking all over the floor!). But management took care of it right away and even replaced all the flooring. Management here has been great!Like someone commented earlier, the parking lot is small and always packed. I have a compact car and it still gets dings from people parking so close. But the parking lot is pretty secure and I do feel safe walking around by myself.Overall, its the location that makes this place. Tucked behind the hospital and right on White Rock Lake!

    My washer flooded my apartment and both the maintenance team and apartment manager were here on the double with wet vacs and reassurances. As it turned out, my renters insurance covered most of the bill and the old carpet was replaced with dark plank that looks awesome!

    I have been living here for 2 years.. I absolutely love it. The White Rock Trails/Park is right in front of the complex, so its great for me and my dogs. They have a great gym and a beautiful pool.The scenery around the complex is breathtaking.Its completely safe and peaceful. The floor plans are great with a lot of natural light. The staff is nice and accommodating. Especially Kathleen! Shes wonderful!Only negative is the small parking spaces, my vehicle has been struck about 3-4 times..leaving dents and deep scratches. :( The parking spots seem to be made for compact cars only.. I drive a mustang so its a little wider, but still.. those dents and scratches hurt.. lolSUVs and trucks do not fit very well either.Theres been times when Ive had to get into my vehicle from the passenger side because people have parked way too close to my drivers side. Which is frustrating when youre trying to get to work on time.

    I visited Oaks White Rock on a whim and was immediately impressed. There is a waiting list which tells me it is highly sought after. Prices are good, and the location cant be beat. What stood out to me was that when the leasing agent gave me a tour, she greeted a maintenance worker and a resident by name, and asked the resident how her family was doing due to the flooding (shows personal connection and longevity of the office staff). The model apartment itself was a bit small but had lots of great lighting. If I get the job I want this is where I plan on living!

    I feel so lucky to live here. It’s a small complex but always well maintained and beautiful with great amenities. Contina, Alicia, Dean, and Francisco are all amazing and work so hard! I feel really safe living here and know any potential issues will always be addressed. Huge shout out to Contina Rice for running such a tight ship.

    I moved in to the complex in March of this year and I love everything about the complex. Its really quiet and quaint but not stuffy. Everything about the complex exudes the relaxed East Dallas mindset most everyone has around here. I have met a lot of great folks that live in the area and Im glad I came across The Oaks at White Rock. How they ever have any openings for more than a day is beyond me!

    During an exploratory trip around white rock lake, I found Oaks white rock and walked into the lease office at 5:30 on a Friday. Alicia invited me in and shared property layouts and prices. She then took me to one available place, introduced me to the manager. I left with a great restaurant recommendations and the feeling I found my new place. Hope to see you ladies soon! Relocating to Dallas for work!

    I just love this community. Contina and Alicia really go ABOVE AND BEYOND. The property upkeep is excellent, maintenance is very responsive and timely, and the price is really competitive for the location. My lease is up but I’ll be extending for a few more months, I have no complaints.

    Wow! This is the best kept secret in WRL! I suspect it wont be after reviews like this! When I arrived at the office, the staff asked me how I was able to find them, because the apartment building is tucked nicely away from busy city life! It truly is a hidden gem. I have been here since August. I can go to the park after work and it is at my back door! The pool is a resort style pool, with an in-water sitting area. Unique. There is a hot tub that stay warm 24 hours and all through the seasons. There is a dry sauna inside the workout facilities, located next to the pool. To get to the pool you have to cross a beautiful bridge. The bridge has year round flower boxes and lamp lights. Beautiful to come home to! No scray, gangster-y looking people wandering around. No stoner-looking people hanging around. Just a good mix of middle class workers During the day, many lots are empty. The one down side is the parking. It is tight and you have to have much patience. That is the one thing you have to accept when coming here, after that all is well! The are friendly and responsive. I have never felt disrespected or put off, even when I knew I was talking too much! The inside of the apartments is well maintained. But more than that, they are well designed. Each apartment has a fireplace, washer dryer hook up, a patio with a small storage closet. Rooooomie closests. The price is perfect! If it were more, I might start to look into buying a house, but right now, this price, makes me want to stay and stay! If you find this place, take advantage of it!

    I only went there once. They are an apartment complex hidden behind the old Doctors Hospital (now Baylor Scott-White Whiterock). Very easy walking access to Whiterock Lake trails, extremely clean and resonable prices. The only problem is that it is so great there is a waiting list of about 4 months. Wish I could be living there.
