    I have lived here since December 15, 2023. The move in process went smoothly, and quickly. I haven’t had any complaints since I’ve been here. I’ve only had to go into the office a couple of times to resolve technical issues with the resident portal app. Both times the staff was kind and showed concern with my issues. I’ve have not had a problem with parking, loud noise, rude employees, hidden fees, maintenance issues, etc.. since I’ve been here.If you have an issue with paying your rent, the office manager is really great! As long as you communicate with her, she’ll work with you. She goes above and beyond to make your time living here as comfortable as she can. I don’t like leaving reviews anywhere, but I read reviews when making a big move, so I want to leave one for anyone looking at this complex. If you’re considering moving into your first, second, or whatever the case may be, consider Northern Cross. I’m telling you this is/has been a wonderful home for me. One of my neighbors has been here for over 10 years and she told me when I first moved in, “oh you’ll love it here.” She was right!!!!

    BACK TO EDIT & UPDATE. We have now been here 3 months, move in went great !!!Our leasing agent checked up on us to make sure all was well on the move in date . We absolutely love it here , our apartment feels very cozy . Maintenance is always out working hard & they do very well on keeping up with the property .Our leasing agent was Angel & he went above & beyond on covering every little detail along with answering all the questions I had in person (so many),emails & returning phone calls.I am very glad we had someone so nice & patient ,We had a very good experience & it sold us on the idea of moving here. We move in October , we hope to continue the great experience once we move in.

    Im surprised at the negativity. We started with a 15 month lease and extended it for 3 months. We HAD to move due to our health and to move in with our daughter or we would still be there. We are 70. The last 4 years, we lived in 3 different complexes within a few miles, Northern Cross by far is the best. The manager Joseph has done a fine job to keep and make us satisfied, along with his assistant Christina. The office staff has always been Profesional and we always tried to work with Nicole who is a super person.! Anytime we had a maintenance issue it was taken care of timely and professionally. We thought they were a great group of men. As with anything, its hard to say its perfect, but have to give them a 5. We worked hard trying to be a good tenant, and we feel they worked hard to be a good provider. Our two neighbors and us worked to take care of and watch out for each other. Moving in, we found the place clean, and thats how we left it and got a FULL refund of our deposit. We recommend this facility over and above its competition.     I loved it when I moved here. Its quiet and I feel safe. Nothing is perfect. The Managment Staff have listened to any concerns I have had and done thier best to address these concerns. The apartment I live in is nice and very roomy for the price. I like my neighbors, a few of them have lived here 10 plus years. Thank you to the staff of Northern Cross for your assistance and thanks to Joseph who took the time to listen to me.

    Been living here for almost 2 years. I’ve always had positive experiences with management. Maintenance always gets to my requests quickly too. The pool and fitness center are great amenities.

    My experience here has been largely positive. The location is very good, 10 minutes from most anything I could need. The complex itself is nice and well-furnished and maintenance/office is very fast at responding to problems you have. Ill be renewing here for the time being.

    I love this apartment complex! The staff is Awesome...Christina & Joseph have taken Great Care of me. Even from a 3rd Floor 2-bedroom Apt downsizing to a 1st Floor 1-bedroom Apt.     I’ve been here since the beginning of the year and haven’t had any complaints. Anything I’ve ever needed was handled professionally and in a quick manner, whether it was maintenance or needing assistance from the office! I contact them via email and always get a timely response, highly recommend this apartment complex. One of my big things I search for in an apartment complex is a good, responsive office crew.     I’ve lived in 10 different apartments communities from older, run down places to new high rises. I’m giving Northern Cross 5 stars because although realistically no place is ever perfectly perfect, I really do enjoy living here and have never had any significant issues with the staff, the property or anything of the like. I moved in 7 months ago after living in a house for 4 years and the transition back to apartment living was pleasant. The gals in the office were always nice, communicated with me and all went smoothly. I chose an apartment in a building with only two floors, purposely to have no one above me, and only garages underneath that I do hear open and close but not disruptively. I’ve had one or two people park in my reserved carport but I know that will happen from time to time. My next door neighbor is very sweet and has even left me flowers on my doorstep and despite the rare after-hours noisy resident or guest, there havent been problems for me with regular disturbances. I do wish the gates were working like they have in the past but it seems like with the new management company stepping in and taking over, things will slowly start being repaired. Just like how we’ve recently gotten new toilets, faucets and fixtures. There is obviously an effort being made and changes don’t happen over night. The new staff responds to emails efficiently, calls if you have packages there for a few days and is always friendly with me. I’ve used the gym and the laundry mat with no remarks to be made. When I have a work order, its addressed. I like the central, convenient location of this property and it’s easy access to stores, restaurants and the highway. Overall I’ve been comfortable, pleased and happy here. 😊

    I was only there for a yr due to work, but during my time there I had no issues. My neighbors were friendly and the complex is quiet during the day and night. Upon move in the apartment was spotless and an easy transition, and upon moving out it was the same and I received my deposit back the following week. Sometimes the trash could be a little overwhelming but thats to be expected in an apartment complex and was normally resolved by the end of the day. The office staff is nice and anytime there is an event or an issue within the apartments we would be notified immediately. I absolutely loved Chelsea (management) she is very kind, helpful and professional. Anything I needed she took care of promptly, and she is a great asset to the Bellagio Management Team. Would definitely live here again.

    Updates after a year, overall price is fair for the apartment you get. Apartment I had was nice and had little issues but nothing major! Parking is kinda bad especially at night you might have park far from your apartment. It be nice if they moved few things to add more spaces but oh well. Second as far the complex it looks decent at times just the biggest thing is no one actually picks up there dog poop, you will walk around seeing big chunks of poop in the grass and see people actually just let there dog poop and walk away seen it a dozen of times but can’t do much about that. Third sometimes random trash is left out by your apartment or just outside the complex randomly but can’t do much about that either. Maintenance request are hardly fairly quick which is nice. Over all apartments are nice decent but the outside complex itself needs work. I say check it out because not worse or best complex! As far as staff they are nice and try be helpful!

    My family and I moved in a few months ago, and could not be any happier. The complex is extremely quiet, and adorable. The unit also has such beautiful upgrades, and unique touches. With all the recent changes, and upgrades, I feel extremely safe. Which is so important with young children. Scheradee, in the office, was a god sent!!!! She was over the top polite and helpful with my 50 million questions. Even now after being here for a few months, I know I can always count on her help, and a quick response, whenever I need anything.

    I love Christina she is very sweet and understanding. Communication is key she has listened to me always very responsive with everything no matter what it is. I hit a hard time and she definitely has worked with me and made my stay here less stressful.     Christina and Gloria were so helpful. They took care of my client who needed to move in ASAP. I toured for my client and the community was clean, open, plenty of parking through out and the pool area felt like an oasis! + super friendly neighbor encounter. Truly a wonderful community to match the staff!

    I had issues in the apartment complex I was before and was desperate to move away from it. My daughter has been living at Northern Cross for 2 months and her experience from the application process to the moving date was smooth so I decided to also apply at Northern.Gloria Cervantes has been the best leasing officer that I have ever known, she took care of my daughter and also took care of me. She helped and guided me throughout the process and provided assistance to get things completed. The moving date when I arrived to the office Gloria had everything ready so literally took 5 minutes to get my keys. Gloria is very diligent and always available to help so it definitely makes a difference when you are moving to a new place.As any apartment complex it has areas for improvement so I’m not going to say everything is perfect but for what I see so far the management is working on them so things are moving in the right direction. The management is constantly communicating with the residents via email about any situation or sharing information of their plans for projects in the future.

    The current management is far more hands on and responsive than previous management. Although to that end, there is less engagement/activities to get to know your neighbor and bring people together. Also we absolutely need to address the lighting on the property. It is dark when entering the property at night (especially compared to the new property next door) and under the carports. Additionally, it would be nice if there was a dedicated place to recycle plastics and others rather than in the main trash. Overall, thank you for the work you are doing at Northern Cross.

    I haven’t lived here very long, maybe a week or so, give or take. One thing I will point out is that finding a parking spot is a NIGHTMARE (particularly in the evenings, after work hours) and there is, naturally, a wait list for a covered/reserved parking space or garage.But other than that, I like this complex a lot. Neighbors are relatively quiet and units are spacious and updated. I still have white appliances in my kitchen that I was told would be upgraded to stainless steel upon move-in but I do believe that isnt entirely the complex’s fault - they have to wait for them to be delivered. Paperwork, signing the lease, and finding renters insurance and an electric company to get set up in here was a breeze, I’m from California and out there, oftentimes it can be weeks or months from your initial inquiry to the date of your actual move in (if you’re lucky enough to get in) so, Northern Cross made this process super simple. We came to check out apartments, liked what we saw, filled out the online application (me and my 2 roommates) and paid the $99 application fee. Our leasing agent Gloria was more than happy to help us with any questions or bumps in the road on the application process. Once that was all submitted and our documents verified, we moved in all in about the time of a week or so. They even let us pay a few extra days of prorated rent to move in early since I needed to be out of my old apartment by a specific date and time. The units seem well maintained and the upgraded kitchens (minus my appliances I am waiting on) are actually beautiful and I love the aesthetic appeal of our apartment. I do truly believe things worked out this way for a reason and that we were meant to live here. With a locking front gate and security I feel much safer and overall I love being home at Northern Cross. I have a 3rd story unit which was a challenge to move all our belongings up to but the view and the beauty of the apartment makes it worthwhile. Also the bathrooms are updated, water pressure is great in the sink and the shower, and there is a shocking amount of counter space and storage despite the kitchen looking small (the unit we toured had a different floor plan than the one we ended up renting, but overall the design and all was the same. We also have carpets throughout the house and wood floors/laminate in the kitchen and bathrooms. Just to make anyone looking at these apartments aware that not ALL the units are fully upgraded like the one you may end up touring, so before you move in, take note of the floor plan you selected and keep in mind that these floor plans and upgrades may vary as far as what you get in your apartment. I haven’t been here long, but so far I like this complex a lot even if I wish parking were easier to find. I will update my review should anything change or my opinions start to waver on how much I love my new place but so far I am incredibly happy here and I think that despite the few drawbacks, (delays on upgrades to appliances and flooring we weren’t expecting so much of- carpet) this seems to be a great place to live and I think I will enjoy my year here and perhaps renew for another year when the time comes if this size apartment still works for us. We may need a bigger place eventually but for now it’s actually very sufficient in terms of space and storage. I am happy I chose Northern Cross and happy that things are going so well here. I hope they keep up the good work and good maintenance and I hope if I ever have to write a second review for this complex that it’s 5 stars instead of 4. Thank you Northern Cross, I think this is a home worth looking into if you’re in the market for an apartment and can’t qualify for the many income restricted apartments in the DFW area. As long as you make 3x rent here, you’re good. I personally think the other complex we checked out where we “made too much to qualify” although my partner and I both have $11/hr jobs wasn’t meant to be and I’m glad we chose to look at Northern Cross. Here’s to a great year here!

    I only lived here with my girlfriend for a few months, and had to leave unfortunately due to some financial troubles. During our stay here, the only issue we ever had was just our AC going out once or twice but it was resolved within a day both times. The office is amazing, other people are saying they don’t answer the phone and I can’t speak on that but literally if you walk into the office and tell them your problem (if you ever have one) they WILL help you and make you feel all warm and fuzzy inside. The area isn’t dangerous at all from what I saw (contrary to popular belief because of the whole Uber driver thing lol), in fact it’s quite the opposite with friendly neighbors and a fairly quiet neighborhood other than the occasional loud speaker in a car driving by. The apartment itself was very luxurious feeling, and I already miss it compared to where I’m at now haha. I would highly recommend this apartment to anybody who might ask me….the only thing I would change is the rent and to maybe add more parking spaces (or maybe 1 assigned parking spot per apartment?), but I know that’s not really anything that they can steadily control! To my people in the office who took good care of us with everything, thank you so much and we will miss staying with you!

    Everybody I met at the leasing office was very friendly and helpful. Gloria assisted me throughout the whole experience, and although I took my time before making up my mind, I was not bombarded with tons of followup emails, and once I was ready, the application process and background/credit check barely took 24 hours. The apartment was very clean and nice as seen in the virtual tour and I received a warm welcome from the office staff the day I moved in.I would definitely recommend this place to Anyone looking for a clean, safe and affordable community.FIVE STARS ALL THE WAY!!August Mbanda

    My husband and I have lived here almost 2 years and we love it! I love looking out our balcony and seeing all grass and trees and the pool! Im very happy to call this place my home. Cost of living is a fair amount and we have plenty of amenities. If we do have an issue, maintenance comes to fix it in a timely manner. We also have our own CARES team (Ben and Kayla Sanderson). They put on community events every month which is awesome because we get to have fun and meet new people living in our community. Would definitely recommend Bellagio!

    I have lived at Northern Cross since 2015 and chose this apartment complex because of the location and the fact they are the nicest complex in the area and are fairly priced. The office staff is very friendly and the community is pretty quiet for the most part. I travel a lot for work and am only home 5 months out of the year so for me selling my house and getting an apartment instead was ideal for my life situation, and Northern Cross works for me due to being so close to my work office in Fort Worth. Good location as well because every store and restaurant you can think of is within 5 minutes driving distance.

    My husband and i moved here just about 3 years ago with our son who is almost 3. This is the only apartment complex we have ever renewed with, usually after move in you find that its not as good as it seems. But not with this place. Its so quiet because all around it is fields. No crazy neighbors, just nice families. My husband and i know all the neighbors on our side of the building and more in other buildings because the the people are so friendly. The staff is very helpful when you have a problem and work orders get done with the quickness. Its really cool that the front office has a cares team that sends you a welcome package when you move in and they put on a few community events every month like pool parties, movies on the lawn and game nights in the club house. All in all my favorite place weve lived.

    Gloria was such a great help. We came up on some complications moving in but Gloria and her boss went above and beyond to help accommodate us. Gloria and her boss followed through with any promises they made and made the wait more then worth the while. We will forever greatly appreciate their efforts to make our experience with them a good one. No one is perfect and there will be mistakes that happen but what matters is how you fix it or what someone does to make up for it. Thank you Gloria for answering any and every question we had regardless if it was after hours. Our experience with northern cross staff was very friendly nice and professional. We would recommend these apartments to our friends & coworkers and anyone who is looking for a new place. Settled in our new apartment we are very happy and comfortable, thank you Gloria again.

    We moved in 2 months ago. Management is nice and helpful. Requesting maintenance is easy with the residence portal. Can also use it to pay rent. It can be difficult finding a good parking spot sometimes, but that seems to be normal with apartment living.

    Very friendly in the office and the maintenance staff is fabulous. Love the community events! Ive always felt safe walking to my apt at night (which is huge!) and the neighbors look out for each other. Ive lived here for 3 years and highly recommend!

    I lived here for 2.8 years (thru March 2017), and it was great. The few maintenance issues I had were completed within 24 hours, usually the same day. Never had a problem with bugs. Staff was always friendly whenever I interacted with them (email, phone, in-person). Every now and then the staff will hand you free donuts or Chic-Fil-A as you leave the complex in the morning. They’ll send you an email or text message if they have a package waiting for you in the office. They were super easy to work with when I moved out, and in spite of my cat vomiting a few times on the carpet, they graciously gave me my full security deposit back, which was very cool of them. My only complaint is that they’re not open on Sundays, which was tough if I needed to pick something up from the office (I work in Dallas, usually on trips Friday through Sunday, so I was rarely around when the office was open. Stop giving your employees a work-life balance!) Anyway, highly recommend.

    New office staff is absolutely amazing! The last management really did a number on the community and because of their actions, many were forced to find new homes. This new management has worked so hard to get this complex back on track. They have fixed both pools, fixed both gates, and have been reaching out to the community and asking what they can do to make their stay more enjoyable. They truly do care. They have a huge mess on their hands because of the old management but I can really see this all coming together. Good job and thank you for all that you do for us. You truly are making a difference in all of our lives.

    Its been a month and a half since we moved in. My girlfriend and the kids love the place. The amenities are up to date and it really feels like home. The only downside is the lack of parking, but there is usually parking near the office which isnt too far of a walk. Overall, we really love this place so far and it actually is better priced than the apartments on the other side of 820.

    You read so many bad reviews and Im confused because I love my new apartment. Morgan and her staff do a wonderful job in the office and maintenance is friendly and very accommodating to my schedule. I also thought living so close to 820 I would hear a lot of road noice, same with the train. I hear nothing unless I am outside. I am enjoying my new home!

    Ive never had an issue with this complex or the office staff. Its a pretty quiet place to live. I want to give it 5 stars, but the reason Im giving it 4 is because my car and garage has been broken into. I did report it to the office so so they would be aware and possibly send a mass email to warn others. They said they would get a cop to patrol around at night every once I a while but I have yet to see a cop. Other than that, I am resigning my lease for another year.

    Lived here for a few years and haven’t had alot of issues. Car was broken into. Called the office and they told us they’ve been getting a lot of calls lately but can’t do anything about it. That from now on we have to call 911. Management and property owners have changed since we leased. the office staff we leased from were more friendlier than the new staff.I have seen the cops more now than I have ever so I don’t know what’s going on or what issues we are having. The building I stay in though is more relaxed and feel comfortable here. I would give 5 stars but I don’t feel safe with the cops being here more often & break ins. If we are out late at night, when we come back, We see glass on the floor and broken windshields. I think they do need to invest in cameras here so they can get who’s doing all this. I know break ins are occurring more on the other side of the complex and in certain parking areas. I hope they get to the bottom of this!Other than that, it’s a great place to live. Quiet neighbors. No kids running around making a lot of noise. AC was fixed right away last summer. Maintenance guys came in same day and were very quick and efficient.

    We recently have moved into the apartments, when I first went to look into the apartments the staff were very professional and informative about everything. The complex is very well kept up with, and we always get a heads up with anything​ that happens with the complex (water shut offs). We do not have any problems with neighbors.     My husband and I moved here last January and have loved every minute! Although our gate is typically broken/open :( , Its very quiet during the day & night & just has that safe feeling(which is important to me). The office staff has ALWAYS been sweet, welcoming and helpful..Especially Maryanna (spell chck?). Weve been working with her from the very beginning and will miss her dearly! Weve only had to request maintenance like two or 3 times i believe, but they fixed the issues immediately (and they were minor issues). Unfortunately, we will be moving in 2 weeks to a house..other than that, we would be staying. We definitely recommend this complex! :)

    Loved this property. It is gorgeous!! Took a tour of this place last week. I had the pleasure of working with Patty, very professional and knowledgeable. The staff was very nice and warming. I look forward to moving in till next year only because of my current lease term but this is definitely my #1 place. Did I mention the SPECIAL!!! Highly recommend!!!!!

    I lived here for a year in a 3 bed 2 bath. I moved out only to purchase a home. I have lived in multiple apartments in the area and throughout my adult life, so I have seen the worst. I would put these apartments up there as one of the best. With that being said...here are my opinions:Amenities: clubhouse, pools, and dog area are nice, but the kids play area could be updated or moved in a more central locationParking: Good if you come in early, you may have to park farther away from your apartment if you come in late. However, they have garages and carports for a fee.Maintenance: These are not brand new apartments, so you may have to call maintenance every so often.     My wife and I have lived here for almost 2 years and we love it here! We rarely have any issues, but if we do, maintenance comes in a timely manner. We have our own CARES team (Ben and Kayla Sanderson) who put on community events every month which is great because it brings the community together. Cost of living is an appropriate amount.

    I’ve been here for almost a year. This property is the best I’ve seen. It is always kept very clean and my apartment is very spacious. Maintenance is AWESOME, they always do my work orders right away!! I’ve like working with Patricia, she’s helped me out since day one.

    Honestly, I dont know why there are such bad reviews on this place, and they are over a year old, so let me tell you about it as it stands now August 2013. I...love...this...place. I havent had any rodent or cockroach issues, im in building 13, 3rd floor, and I woudnt live anywhere else. The only bad thing I guess is the parking, theres only so many covered, but theres still tons of uncovered spots. The staff are friendly, personally I think one of the office girls, Kristina, rocks my world, (shes smart AND gorgeous) but she doesnt know i feel that way :P The place itself is gorgeous, the pool is amazing, the gym has screens on the treadmills plus they have free weights (which many apartments dont have due to liablities), the office is huge with flat screens everywhere. The office is open 7 days a week! Seriously? Wow! I work down the street at the Ford dealership so my commute is short, I like the fact that its gated too. I know statisticaly it doesnt mean anything but it still gives me comfort. They also give you a free carpet cleaning every lease, with a cheap $25 fee if you want it done again (which is cheap compared to $50 to $80 third party companies charge). I will most likely renew my lease, I just wish I had my own parking spot (you can rent one for $25 a month, or even rent your own garage for $75! a month) Bellagio rules!

    Location good close to everything and right off the highwayIts a clean property ive been here since may. If it wasnt for Sheradee I probably wouldnt have moved in here. The rest of the office staff is extremely rude and unprofessional. Maintenance is about useless as a G in lasagna. Scheradee is saving this place hands down. She takes care of all the needs and calls back when she says she will call back. So if you go looking ask for her.
