I have been living at Milano Apartments for nearly two years, and overall, my experience has been quite positive. I did encounter one issue where a maintenance worker tried to enter my apartment without announcing himself. Fortunately, I was home and had the deadbolt locked, so nothing came of it. However, the office manager, Mickey, addressed the situation professionally, and I havent seen the maintenance worker since. Since renewing my lease, my rent has decreased, and I appreciate that they maintain a clean pool during the summer and enforce quiet hours with security occasionally.

Upon moving in I did have a few hiccups that I was very upset and concerned about and wanted to go ahead and terminate my lease however I really really had been eyeing this community and the location for quite some time and was devasted if I had to move. Key word had but thankfully Micky and her staff here at Resprop truly turned things around for me and I love my new space! Micky truly showed that she cared and addressed all my concerns and got everything handled and taken care of! I was truly in shock of how dedicated she was to taking care of my needs here. Johnetta assisted her and she is going to make a great Property Manager some day! Kiana was my leasing agent and she was very thorough throughout my initial sign on and addressed all my questions regarding my lease! I hadnt had much interaction with Tiffany other than when I go into the office to return previous tenant mail however, every time I visit to do so, she is always very pleasant! The maintenance staff is really great here also! If I see them on the golf cart, they always waive and tell me hello! Overall, Micky and her team have turned my experience into a very positive one!

Living in this apartment complex has been an absolute delight. The amenities are top-notch, from the modern gym to the inviting pool area. The management team is always attentive and quick to address any concerns. The sense of community here is wonderful, with regular events that provide great opportunities to meet neighbors. The location is convenient, with shopping and dining options just a stones throw away. Plus, the well-maintained grounds and secure environment offer peace of mind. Overall, I couldnt have asked for a better place to call home. Kiana was very helpful and knowledgeable about the unit I acquired.

I have experienced the best future residential services of my life here at Milano at Wrstchase. The staff, especially Johnetta Taylor, were friendly and helpful… Anytime I had a question about the property, I received a prompt responses. Whether it was about the application fee, deposit amounts, or move in dates, the staff quickly and thoroughly ensured that I would have an optimal living environment. I intend to move here as soon as my lease is up where I currently reside and I am strongly moving into these apartments. In some ways, your property management company can make or break your living experience and I believe moving here will be the best decision ever!

A overall good place to live. Hopefully, I’ll be here for the remainder of my days above ground. Only, will the try to get an apartment on the first floor, being that I’m getting up in age, and living on the third floor will become an issue. Update: I renewed my lease for another year in September. A few hiccups with my A/C unit, but under new management, was taken care of quickly. Actually saw a few cars left on blocks, a first for me. It’s a large complex, so I can’t speak on what happens in other parts of this complex. And I do wish they would address the issues with the gates. And please, power wash the tenant landings. But I have no regrets renewing my lease. Hopefully, more improvements will be forthcoming.

Awesome experience, Johnetta took great care of us and got us into the unit weve been looking for a long time. Explained all the details needed to complete the online application, gave us a non-rushed tour of the units available and put herself to our services if any future questions are needed to be answered. After we were gone she followed up with a call with more details and we were able to complete the application in just a blink. Our first visit to this community and already signed. Our experience with this community has been so great. Moving is always a messy business, especially from out-of-state, but all our questions and concerns were addressed right away by Kiana on the leasing team, she was very knowledgeable and professional. Maintenance requests have been dealt with quickly and expertly. We are very happy here and feel quite safe in the community.

I moved to Milano in 2023..From Florida with my son..The last people that ran this property were not the greatest..There was one person that went the extra mile...from the old mgt. When Resprop took over this property there is quite a difference..Things are looking up..Micky and Johnetta plus the maintence staff are cleaning up this wonderful property..When I moved in I was promised certain things..I finally got them done this week July 2024..I must comend a young man who did the job..His name is Cornell..Kudos to this mgt..It is also easy to talk with them..FYI I managed a larger property for years in Florida..So if you are looking for a good place..This could be your spot..It does have rules, but all good properties have rules and if you abide by them..Life becomes simplified...

I just wanna say this. Im not the type to throw people under the bus as I understand everything is a business and theyll try to squeeze every last dollar out of the consumer to lock you in, so I get it. Im not gonna talk bad about anyone. When you give someone a move-in date, please respect it. When you give leasing documents to a new tenant, please do not alter the price of the rent or utility fees, that just makes you look shady and is a terrible first impression. My move-in process was a lot more nerve wracking than it should have been, but Im glad its over. But again all the aforementioned events could have been coincidental, I understand mistakes or things you cant control happen. One person Id like to shout outtho , sadly I didnt get her name but she is the one that worked on 10/31 in the afternoon and was sitting on the right desk when you come in. She is a SWEETHEART, genuine and super helpful. She looks after the tenants best interest and I really appreciate her for that. When I get her name Ill update this. Yall better keep her long term, shes an asset.Update: her name is Kiana, hope I spelled it right.

I have so very busy all I could do was call and ask questions I spoke to Ms.Taylor and she helped me through the entire process worked with my schedule to get in me to do a walk through and finish all my paperwork. I’ve had pretty much nothing but good experiences with the Milano! Danielle is the absolute BEST. Everyone has been nice, responsive, and very helpful if there’s any issues. The only complaints I really have is that one of the gates seems to be broken quite often. It’s gotten better since I first moved in, though. We also got a new AC unit in our apartment after moving in and I’m not sure what happened, but the crew didn’t install it the way they were supposed to and didn’t put a filter in when they changed it, which led to us having AC issues and our AC leaking. Luckily maintenance was super quick to come and fix it. Overall I’ve had a great experience and would recommend the Milano.

The Milano apartments are so beautiful! Their floor plans offer so much regardless of which one you choose. The staff is working very hard after the winter storm and doing their best to get everyone situated into new homes. I was EXTREMELY impressed with Jerry, he has the greatest energy and hes a very hardworking person and it shows, he will get you into a space that works best for you! I love everything about these apartments and theyre only proving to get better by the upgrades that theyre being prompt with!

It is a beautiful apartment , we 😍 love it. We have awesome view of swimming pool and lots of trees from our apartment. Looks very clean from outside and inside. No problem for parking at all. It’s our third day to this new apartment and we are already loving it. Even though we have COVID-19 situation going around we had smooth process while moving in. All the staff working in leasing office were polite and understanding.No complain so far . Definitely right choice.

DO NOT LISTEN TO THE ANGRY REVIEWS. A lot of them are from disgruntled residents who where friends with the previous management.These apartments are clean, quiet, and well kept. Management (Obed) is always nice and helpful. The maintenance and cleaning crew are always out there making sure the grounds are beautiful. If you call, they ALWAYS come and make sure the job is done correctly. If there ever is any noise its because of the amazing renovations being made.This place is beautiful. I am proud to call myself a Milano resident!

I recently moved into this complex in January following hurricane Harvey. I was at the sister location at lakeside place when it flooded and I needed to find a new place to call home. I have known Ramin, the current property manager here at Milano, since he was working at lakeside and only moved to this location because I trust him and the company since they were so great at my last complex. I did have to wait about 3 months to finally get a one bedroom that was available but I decided instead of leasing elsewhere I would just spend some time with family out of town until it was possible. As soon as availability became clear I started the process of moving back to Houston despite the despair of Harvey. I was happy to know these apartments had not been affected and Amy Hurst in the office made everything extremely simple by working with me since I had lost most documents and was moving from out of town. As Ive spent time, about halfway through my lease, living here I thoroughly enjoy the amenities. I love our pool area and the 24 hour access to a gym. The putting green is a nice touch and the pet friendly option is great! My support animal, Bruce, loves it here!! Aside from a few neighbors letting small dogs run around off leash I have yet to encounter any problems. Even those issues were immediately attended to by Amy when I bring them to her attention and/or Ramin whenever I have any kind of inquiries or concerns always goes out of his way to make sure everything gets taken care of. Maintenance comes in a timely fashion and thats always a great thing!! As long as theyre running the show around here Ill be renewing my lease come January and bringing along a friend as well so Im looking forward to working with Amy and Ramin on a two bedroom lease for the new year!

Decent place. The unit look very nice with lots of space. Full size washer and dryer is a plus. Other nice things to be said.Cons? My wife and I have been living here for about 4 months now and still we dont have a working gate remote. When we ask about it theyre response is always that they have someone from an outside source working on the problem. After 4 months it should have already been fixed. It wouldnt be so bad using the gate code machine, but it only opens the right gate. I live very close to the entrance of the left gate. So it got old quick.Also, In my experience so far, It takes some time for them to follow up on service requests. Maybe its just been me, but its an annoyance for sure.Theres other pros and cons to note, but for the most part these apartments are a nice place to live. Way better than some of the surrounding ones.

Update: Its been 2yrs living at the Milano and we are moving so I wanted to give an honest farewell review based off our exeperience living there. It still gets 5 stars! We loved the spacious rooms, large balcony and nice staff. It was pretty quiet most of our time there and we didnt really have a lot of complaints to go to the front office about. The groundskeepers/maintenance guys were awesome too! They always speak with a smile and helped out fast if we had an issue. One of them would even teach me Spanish every time wed greet each other! LOL Didnt have parking issues. And we loved the shady, almost tropical feel taking a walk through the property. My wife and I spent many a pool days in their spacious pool and was always greeted by front office staff if they passed by. It was nice meeting other neighbors in the pool are as well. If there was a real negative to say it would be that weve seen a lot of people come and go in the front office. But.... every person that was there was always professional and likable! Even the staff thats there as we are departing is awesome! Management worked with us on a mistake we made so even on departing, they still remain professional and kind! It says something any time you feel a heavy heart leaving a place. The staff made it very, very hard to leave and that in itself is why wed definitely come back if our situation called for it. There are definitely tons of potential there and it seems like they are going in the right direction with upgrades Ive seen to the grounds on our way out. The Milano was truly our home and will always have a special place in our hearts! Thank you Milano!!I absolutely love this place! Ive been a homeowner for years and have never lived in an apartment. This being my first time giving an apartment a try, no less just moving to Houston from PA, I was understandably nervous. The management team I came in with was nice but very lax about things so it had me a bit concerned. The new managment, led by Obed, put my worries at ease! They are getting things done! Any transition has its bumps and in most cases, the new guys have to clean up old messes. From what Ive seen, they are headed in the right direction and I cant wait to see what the future holds! My family is already talking about renewing our lease! Obed has been 100% professional and 100% treat you like family! From day one, Obed was instantly likeable and showed he cared. He even makes it a point to greet you and chat a bit when you are in the office area to see how you are doing! Im not sure where the negative reviews come from but it may be that people arent used to change. No less a change that is more serious than they might be used to. To make positive changes, professional seriousness has to come into play. Obed and company has that professional seriousness. But given the chance you will find that they also treat you like family.

Just want to say shout out to James!! He is the best hands down. I came there two weeks ago to tour this complex and even though he had an upcoming appointment with someone else as I just popped on in lol he still took the time to show me around and listened to what I was looking for in an apartment. I applied this week and got approved which was a smooth process thanks to James. I am holding out on that one star until I move in then will provide another update.

The apartments are gorgeous, and the grounds are well maintained. I have lived in the apartments for almost two years come May. The only issue that I have with the apartments is the trash situation. The trash has continuously been over flooded making the property look horrible. Also, I feel as though you should be able to opt out of the valet trash if you do not use it. The hours they allow you to put your trash out does not work well for my schedule, so essentially I am paying for a service I do not use. I take my own trash to the dumpster. Maintience does respond to your request quickly, and never had any issues with management. The only reason why I am leaving is because rent has gone up and if Im going to pay what theyre asking I can live further in Houston. Great place to live would highly recommend this apartment complex to anyone. We did get a little flooding from Harvey but my apartment was not damaged (I live on the 3rd floor). Throughout Harvey I maintained lights and internet the entire time. Harvey is actually the only time it did flood in the area, and complex other than that it has never flooded in my time living there. Close to grocery stores. My only recommendation is to fix the trash situation, other than that I think its a great place to live!

2018 Update: We have been residents of Milano for almost 4 years, 1 year, a gap and then the past 3 years. There have some changes in management, new faces in the office, but overall the place has stayed fairly consistent. We plan to move on from this place, but mainly because our family is getting bigger and we cannot afford the bigger apartments here. Also, Im not sure about the other apartments, but because Westheimer is fairly high ground, we werent directly affected by Hurricane Harvey.Pros: Updated apartments look pretty nice. Maintenance staff is attentive. There have been some problems over the years like trash over-filling for a few weeks or some specific residents who were absolutely crazy (the FBI and Homeland Security were in our complex), but those are outliers compared to most of the time. Its a fairly quiet community with working class individuals or families.Cons: We have noticed some noisy residents (mainly in playing loud music as they drive by. Our neighbors are all pretty great :), but part of our problem is our building is the closest to the back of the complex (Crescent Park Drive). Loud cars drive that street at many points in the night and the apartments on the other side of the street can be loud, too. Also, in general the surrounding area is okay. Convenient location to grocery stores, places to eat, etc. but crime around the area is a little higher. However, the complex itself is safe and I go running at night all the time in the neighborhood just outside the complex and have never had any problems. Guess you cant always believe what the reports say.Overall, it is a good home for a few years. I dont know if its worth going out of your way to visit, but if you are looking to live in this area, Milano is worth the visit.2015 Update: My wife and I moved out in June 2014, but have since moved back (May 2015)! Weve seen what else is out there and for the price, this is a great place to live.2014 Initial Review: My wife and I have lived here since June 2013. We have experienced nothing but excellent service. From the office staff to maintenance staff, they are all courteous and professional. The pool and fitness center are great, the complex is pretty and it is surprisingly very quiet for an apartment complex. The amenities are a little old in the apartments and there is one trash compacter in the back of the complex, so if you live near the front, you are a little far. But on top of rent, utilities and water are relatively inexpensive. We will most likely move out when our lease is up because our 1 bedroom is going up to over $1000 a month and are 3 bedrooms in the same area that are cheaper. But you get what you pay for here. A community that is quiet, staff that is friendly and an apartment that is cleaned and well kept. If you can afford it, I highly recommend Milano apartments.

We have been happy residents at the beautiful Milano since June 2018, and are floored by the negative comments about the new management team, especially the negative reviews about the assistant manager, Obed. I couldnt believe what I was reading until I did some ear hustling to find out why. Some residents are friends of former employees that were released when Greystar took over and decided to start a negative review campaign. Many of the complaints are unfounded. A good property manager has to be a balanced mix of a people person and a money person. After all, managing a property is a business. Obed is the perfect blend of a people person and a businessman. When management has to collect months of back rent from residents, or issue an eviction (the old management team was nice, but very lax in this area) it does not make for a bad manager or an unreasonable company. It simply means that these are business people handling business matters. (After all, how long can one expect to live in an apartment without paying rent?) When we are temporarily inconvenienced by ongoing property improvements, it doesnt make Greystar a cold and callus management company. It makes them a company who cares enough about their property - and residents - to take the time to update and beautify it. Rome was not built in a day and updating a property of this scale cannot happen in a day. The management company is Greystar, not Magic Kingdom. They cannot wave a magic wand and have all of the improvements made instantaneously. Patience is key. If they were NOT updating the property, the reviews would be complaining about that. The property is beautiful. The management and office staff are wonderful. Obed is doing an exceptional job managing this property with balance and diplomacy. Were living it up at the Milano!

I lived here a few years and its a nice place to live. The pool area is beautiful and has an equipped gym. I never had a problem with this place but one time with the office staff. I sent my girlfriend down as a favor to the office area to print a document, and there was no paper in the printer. She had asked one of the office staff (lady with the short blonde hair) for a piece of printing paper and the lady kicked her out and threatened to call the police if she saw her on the property again. My poor girlfriend came back to the apartment shaken. That is very unprofessional and uncalled for mistreating guests that way.

I moved to Milano apartament about 4 months ago. Its is perfect! Its a quiet complex and I love the pool area and all the equipments at the gym have been updated! Utiliances were with the brand new sticker. Everything is good! I have 1 bedroom 1 bathroom apartment with the updates appliances and rent is around 1100$. I highly recommend this apartments to everyone

Lived here for 2 years and it was great. Didn’t had problems with anything. If I had something reported it immediately was fixed by Alex. And I wasn’t affected by Hurricane Harvey thank god! Very nice complex

Ore experience so far...EXCELLENT Ramin bends over backwards to make us feel at home. We are so happy to see a familiar face AND the whole staff is awesome. If something breaks they come ASAP I used to wait from 24 to 72 hrs to have something done, here 3 hrs top!!! LOVE IT HERE. thx milano.

So it’s great here the only problem I have is that there is ALOT of mail being stolen I had orderd 2 pair of costas worth over 400$ that got stolen I was talking to the mail man and he said that the locks on the mail are old as heck and that they are using a flathead screw driver to open them he also told me that he already awared the office about the problem and they haven’t done anything he also told me that other people that talked to him saying that a woman got her check stolen and some guys check book stolen ;( just please fix this problem Milano y’all are great it’s just that y’all don’t see this as a problem
