    Living at Melville Apartments has been such an amazing experience! From the moment I moved in, I felt right at home. The staff here is incredibly friendly and responsive, always going above and beyond to make sure residents are taken care of.The apartments themselves are beautiful and modern. My unit has a spacious layout, a stunning kitchen with stainless steel appliances and granite countertops, and even in-unit washer/dryer connections, which is such a convenience. I also love how quiet and peaceful the community feels despite being in such a central location.The amenities are just as impressive. The fitness center has everything I need for my workouts and the outdoor spaces are beautifully maintained.The location is another huge plus! Being so close to White Rock Lake is amazing – I love going for walks and bike rides on the trails there. Plus, there are so many great restaurants and shops nearby, so I never run out of things to do.If you’re looking for a place that’s clean, modern, and in a fantastic location, I can’t recommend Melville Apartments enough! It’s truly been a great place to call home.

    I’ve been here a little over five years. In the last couple of years Sean, a new manager, things are even better. The knowledge of the maintenance and repairing things are great. I’ve never had a complaint. Keep up the great work and you’ll keep me as the neighbor.

    Apartments and location are fairly clean. Maintenance is usually fast when it comes to emergencies. Rent is a bit high but other than that, I really do enjoy the amenities.

    The latest maintenance job was taken care of pretty fast from the day I requested it. The towel rack is now very sturdy and it’s staying in place. The towel rack was moved up a little and so now the chipped paint on the wall from where it was placed previously is now exposed. Some residue from the chipped paint was left on my bathroom floor.

    Great complex to live, staff is friendly and attentive. When I asked for certain repairs around my apartment, maintenance was here the next day repairing. I love the gym and the 2 pools on the complex, very nice and clean over all.

    I have been here for almost 3 years so far and i really don’t have any complaints. Where i live is quiet, people keep to themselves, and i feel pretty safe getting to and from my apartments. The leasing staff is nice and friendly. I’ve had all of my request answered within decent timing. The location is also convenient. Very satisfied with my stay here. 🙂

    Melville apt has been up grading the building ask well apt, I have live her for almost 10 years and It been a great adventure, also had issues that was resolved. They have made improvements over the years and it been great for our tenant and myself. Im in an older model, but love my spot. Thank you

    I just renewed my lease for the fourth year. I did extensive investigating at other properties in the area but just couldn’t find anything that compared. Although there have been a few small glitches, they were always addressed timely and satisfactorily. The management and office staff have always been very responsive. Great place to live.

    I have been living here for a little over a year now. This is a very quiet and peaceful community, and I love the location. I havent had any issues here. The office manager and staff always answer my questions and address any concerns in a prompt and timely manner. I can count on a phone call or email within 24 hrs. The maintenance team fixes issues right away. This is a great place to live.

    I have lived here for almost a full year. When my husband and I moved in, we were little nervous, as some of the reviews were not super great. But I run a business and I know how reviews go, so here’s my *hopefully* well rounded review!Leni and the rest of the staff in the leasing office have always been the most respectful and happy people to deal with. Maintenance has always been fairly quick. We had an issue with our toilet running constantly and not flushing properly, and another when our air conditioning broke. They had both things fixed within 36 hours, and the front office called to follow up to make sure we were happy and that things were taken care of. The maintenance crew is always walking around making sure the property is clean and landscaped, and I’ve seen them cleaning up trash from those few disrespectful renters who throw it everywhere.I live on the side of the property that is not gated, and it’s pretty quiet here. Of course I can hear people at the pool, or people playing music on the weekends, but for the most part, people know when to quiet down. My neighbors are all very nice, and I never have to fight for a parking space- which is a huge problem in most apartment communities.We do see the occasional bug in our apartment, but again, that’s expected in an apartment complex. We just set out some small traps and they usually take care of them. I would recommend they invest in some new laundry appliances. I’ve never been in the two laundry buildings closest to us and had every appliance working- at least one of them is always broken. I would also suggest that they put up doggy poo bag stations throughout the property (there aren’t any on our side, although there may be on the gated side), to encourage a lot of the dog owners to pick up their dog’s poop.Overall we have enjoyed our experience here, we’ve referred people to move in here, and can definitely tell that the staff make an effort to keep the community as safe and well maintained as they can!

    This community has some of the best office staff that i’ve ever dealt with in my years of apartment renting. Anything you need they will see it through, and since the pandemic they make sure to keep good communication and make themselves readily available. Ive personally had communication with Andrea since the day I came in to get pricing, and I know that I can reach out to her directly if I need anything at all. The only reason I rate 4 stars is because because parking spots can be sparse sometimes if you work nights like I do, but that is due to the location of the property. Overall I like living here and I like the convenient location. I feel safe here, and the staff seems to really care about the community. I definitely plan on staying a while.

    We moved in over a year ago and I can honestly say that Im very glad we did. Its quiet and the neighbors are nice. Any maintenance issues weve had (which have all been mild) have been addressed quickly. Everyone in the office is very kind and polite. The area is perfect, right next to CVS, Kroger, and white rock lake. I am very happy to be able to live in this location and still be within my budget for rent.

    We have been living at Legends since the beginning of the year and we are very happy with our light spacious apartment and the fantastic location!!The office staff is always ready to help and accommodate our needs.Diane, the property manager is very helpful and gets on top of things!! We really appreciate her and her crew?The maintenance guys are polite and efficient.We highly recommend living at Legends at lake Highlands!!👏🌹👏

    I rated 4 star just because they increase the rent after my application other then that my stay was awesome.quick response by maintanance . I put work order for food disposal during long weekend but still they came to check on the same day .Another thing is my neighbours were very nice ,i was comfortable in walking around. Also there was deposit of $150 which they refunded when i leave the place .It was awesome . I recommended my few friends but unfortunately there was nothing available when they need .

    We been here for nine years and it has never been better Diane and her team are awesome maintenance is always on top of things and very clean and respectful always. Andrea can’t say enough great things about her she is always helping especially now with the hardship of this pandemic, the whole company a big thanks! My kids just received school supplies thanks to them! Again Andrea is always answering questions, she’s fair and respectful. The community is awesome as well the maintenance guys are up and going early picking up the little trash there is and making were we live beautiful.

    I moved here in June 2016, I only have positive things to say about the property and staff here. I lived at another apartment complex and it was absolutely horrible there!! So, I was cautious when I started looking for a new place, but Im SO happy I find this place!!!! When I first came to look at the model apt, the lady in the office was so nice and when I came back to sign the lease, I spoke with Johanna in the office-she is the BEST!!! When I moved in there were a couple of little things that needed attention as Im OCD and cant deal-but they were right on top of it, Ive NEVER waited more than 2 days for a work order to be complete & correctly!!!!! Will definitely tell my fam/friends if theyre looking for a place to look no further because its right here-keep up the awesome work!!!!!!

    I have been living here since March 2016I havent had any problems with the staff at all. Everytime my apartment needs something, the maintenance is always there to fix it fast. I highly recommend people to check The Legends at Lake Highlands! Its a nice and calm property to live in and has 2 schools not even 5 minutes down the street. Its also pet friendly. If youre looking for a place to live, The Legends is the place youre looking for.

    My wife and I love it here !!! We love and actively participate in the Enrichment programs offered for Education and Health and Wellness. We’ve never seen Enrichment programs offered before and encourage all residents to get involved with the programs available.We absolutely love Diane our Director here and her staff have always been super supportive and helpful !!All our neighbors are very friendly and watch out for each other and we could not ask for a better place to live😊

    The maintenance guys fixed the problem with the air conditioner, and they had to replaced the thermostat and something else. Now it is easier and it works perfectly!

    These stars are for the temporary maintenance guy Oscar, I’ve been here since March and two days ago was the first time I actually got great maintenance service! Y’all need to keep him as permanent, he know exactly what he’s doing. If this is because of new management please keep it up 🤗Now I feel that y’all know these apartment have pest issues and we shouldn’t have to inform you about having pest control come by our house that should be happening automatically every other month or how so ever it goes cause 1 we already paying for it included in rent but I ain’t seen not one pest control spraying anything so if y’all gone charge us for something that’s not being done, at least send pest control workers out. That’s the main problem I have and maintenance overall everything’s cope.

    Terrible upkeep. Homeless people in laundry rooms. Drive in gates never fixed and closed. Walk in gates have no locks or codes to get in. Anyone can just walk in. Trash is always overflowing.

    This community has improved a lot with the new management, they now have a new after school program, activities every wednesday for residents, and they are always on top of things, from office stuff to maintenance guys, they fix everything promptly, I am in my second year staying here about to transfer to another unit and couldnt be happier, you have everything at walking distance, I found it pretty convenient staying here. Plus the rent is very decent for the area.

    The property manager Lisa Diaz and another gentleman that work in the office I can’t remember his name but they and many many others was so nice and understanding my entire stay, I do recommend this place but I will say the area is changing a bit, it’s a lot more homeless people in the area but other then that these apartments is going through a full renovation with all new appliances so your going to love your new home.

    Ive been here now for 5 months and I love it here. I currently live in a studio and any problems I have had, they have been taken care of promptly. I did have roaches but its because of an opening in a wall and once I told management, they closed up the hole and I havent had problems since.

    All in all its a decent place to live. The staff are not the friendliest bunch. You have access to two pools, a workout room, laundry room, small dog playground, and much more. Its worth checking out. Ive lived here for almost a decade.

    I have been here for 2 years and I am renewing my contract once again. I feel very comfortable. I definitely recommend these apartments if what you are looking for is a good place to live. Apart from emergencies (although I havent really had many) they respond immediately to solve it. I recommend this place so that you can make it your home. The people who run the office are very friendly and cooperative in helping you.
