May 2024 (4/5 stars)These Apartments are still in worse shape than there were on my 2019 move in - the pools have not been functional since the 2022 reviews (see photos)However, the current management team has been responsive in cleaning up the property and addressing residents needs. Also the endless cycle of repairing water issues from the February 2021 freeze has finally stopped!! There is also a security detail who monitors the grounds. It’s a big improvement over where the apartments were six months ago!Right now, I’d rate it a 4/5. Will update again, End of Year.November 2022 Update (1/5 stars)Water issues persist, a sewage backup filled the bathtub with raw sewage from the drain and a water leak within the wall in front door entrance. Office number was unresponsive and voicemail box was full. Had to call city code compliance. *The office did fix the issue the next day and paid for a maid to clean up bathroom.* but the lack of after hours emergency maintenance was unsettling.November 29 - Office loses power causing internet and boilers to go out, meaning no hot water for over 24 hours, when low was 28°F.July 2022 Update:It’s 109°F and Meadow Ridge Apartments can’t keep either of their pools clean. Between the maintenance team lying about the AC unit working for six weeks and running my electric up $500 over the same March-April-May period last year, to the hot water being out two dozen times, to now the pool not being maintained in the summer, MARS Residential has does done a horrible job taking over managing this place.May 2022 UPDATE:I have now been here 2 years 4 months. The apartments were bought in December 2021. There was no communication with residents, the website to pay rent went down, and communication since has been spotty. If you want to talk to the office, 90% of the time you must go inside. They ignore online service tickets, there’s no voicemail, and when there was, they didn’t answer it.My AC stopped blowing cold air on March 27th and it took 5 visits to the office for a maintenance man to come see it. Every visit the office lied and said the maintenance team would be out that day. They did not come until May 3rd. And when they came out, they argued the AC was working properly, yet the AC will not lower the temperature by a single degree and running non-stop all day. I have lived here over 2 years and this has never happened before.This Apartment Management will not answer the phone, will not return online tickets, and then will blame you for appliances not workingThey are the absolute worst.Original 2020 Rating - 4 starsCurrent Rating - 1 starOriginal Review: 4 starsI’ve been here 3 months now and the corner of the apartments I’m in is quiet with plenty of shade trees. The complex has had at least 1 community party a month with the exception of now, during the COVID-19 crisis. Then, they communicated options for residents to get food if needed. In fact, the communication from manager Nikki S. has been regular, thorough, and comforting with a sense she cares about this community. I would certainly recommend these apartments.

I’m gonna be 100 percent with you. You are gonna look through these reviews and see lots of negative ones. Believe me, if anyone has bad things to say it’s me. I’ve lived here for three years and have had nothing but problems. I use to be so scared to even talk to the previous leasing agents in the office. For fear they would make me go without in my apartment again. You have no idea the stories I could tell. HOWEVER!!!! There is a brand new leasing team and manger now at the office and it is like night and day!! They listened to my concerns and issues with open ears and were incredibly helpful and understanding. Melissa helped me with renewing my lease and upon hearing about my maintenance issues. Immediately put in a ticket for me and made me feel at ease. I never thought I would but writing a review like this. But if you want an affordable apartment give them a chance!!

April in the office is so helpful she helped me with my account set up so i can pay my rent online so i wont have to go in the office every month saves me time waiting when the office is busy. I really had a great experience with the company as a whole and the staff. I couldnt recommend them more! The staff was very professional. Specially Mrs. Cecilia Roman she was so helpful explain everything to detail answered all our questions and concerns. And the tour of the rental properties she was so patience showing us around. SHES THE BEST! If your looking for your new place to call home definitely recommend Meadow Ridge Apartments. Dont forget to ask for Mrs. Cecilia Roman shes awesome!!!

We were trying to find a good fit for us to move ASAP. From the first call it felt like it was the right place. Always answered all our questions on time, communication was 11 out of 10 and they gave us the apartment really fast and with all the conditions they promised. They told us this is a new administration, so everything will improve in the property. Since we moved they have been contacting us to see if everything is OK. That never happened to us in other properties, they usually desapear when you sing your contract. Me and my husband are very happy.

I have been a resident here since this past November. Since the new property management has taken over they have really been cleaning up the place. The staff is wonderful . The girls in the front office are really sweet . If I have an issue Miss Maggie always makes sure it gets taken care of in a timely manner.. It’s affordable my neighbors are not a bother everybody pretty much stays to themselves . i am very comfortable living here . 👍🏼

Great management (Maggie)and Great staffs very understanding, communicative and patient I have no complains they have been real great with me n my family for the past years 💯☺️ … I have NO Roaches in my home and even if I had they would be on point with pest control. Apartments are affordable and comfortable...Pet friendly 👌 Overall a great quiet environment to live in especially if you love some peace and quiet.. Stores are right behind the complex if you don’t have a car you can take a short walk and get to a dentist, Kroger, laundromat..I love my apartment and my area for me and my babies I love it 😊💯I RECOMMEND

All I got to say about the staff from this apartment complex is atenas is so sweet and is a understanding person and the rest of the ladys I had to get my truck stiker for the apartment last week and I had got our late from work and I wasnt able to make it exactly on time to the office and Ms April was nice enough to help me whit my stiker so the wrek wouldnt take it thank you so much for helping me whit my stiker you went above and be on on helping me whit this after your hours thank you God bless yall

Just signed a lease for a 3rd year. The new management is great. Always fast to fix something. Maintenance is wonderful, very sweet guys. They are improving more and more. Finally security on site and hoping they stay!! Makes people feel safer. It’s a decently quiet complex for this area. This is just a bad area in general, but these apartments are improving a lot. They were horrible when I moved in, and now I can say I haven’t seen a bug in over a year. Water was in and out because they were replacing the heating systems so people could have hotter water. It’s been so much better! Outsides repainted and fixed, pools are being fixed, every year they clean my carpets and take good care of me. Can’t beat the price and how spacious they are! Keep your car locked and no one will ransack it. I personally like staying here, so I’ll be getting an alarm system for the inside, only because I’ve heard gunshots a few times, but so far my neighbors have been pleasant and lived here for a while as well. Same for the buildings around me. Most have been here for as long as I have. Office staff is sweet. Overall I’m very happy here and plan to finish college here!

Good price I love my apartment, I have only seen a roach here and there not a full on infestation but come on this is texas there are bugs!!! I like how quiet it is and all my neighbors have been nice. I only have one complaint, my passcode does not work to let my guests in and Ive been here for 6 months now and have called several times my guests or food delivery have to just try to speed in behind someone my clicker only works at one gate as well. Sorry two complaints.. its almost July ... why isnt the pool open?!

Been here a little over four years and reluctantly moving on due to a need to be closer to work. Any issues we have had have always been dealt with efficiently and effectively. Shame Im not going to be able to experience the new cable package they have in place as it rolls just as I leave. Office staff have always been helpful and courteous. Will miss you guys.

For the price it is nice. People that say it is ghetto have not truly lived in the ghetto. I can walk outside at night and its quiet. Children play outside and dont have to worry about getting shot. My biggest complaint is that they could update the kitchen with more modern features. Besides that it is a very decent place.

Prices are great here they never answer the phone so I just go up to the office and they have always taken care of what I needed right away. There was a few issues with my apartment when I moved in but maintenance came by and fixed everything within an 2 hours that includes blinds fan blade cabinets and dish washer

Love the atmosphere here at Meadow Ridge. It is pretty quite most of the time and I consider it a safe community. It is a short drive to work and to downtown if me and my wife want to go out and about. I have been helped every time I go to the main office, and maintenance requests tend to be answered promptly.

Meadowridge is a good place to live. We have been tenants for 3 years and love it. The office staff is great! They know the tenants by name and the team try to have activities to makebring tenants together and make living at meadowridge a pleasant experience. I love Linsey from Apartment life. Love hate relationship . I like that its quiet and close to the interstate and has a little shopping are near and its close to camp Bowie which is a nice area. But roaches happen, just like another places, I tend to have to spray myself . Also its hard for people to gps my location sometimes on my street.
